☃️ December 4 ❄️ 🧶 Nifty Knitting 🧶

Nifty Knitting has the cutest buydebug. It's just the objects you can knit but it's perfect when you need last minute presents or if you want to quickly decorate. I use the hanging plants and the rugs in almost every lot.

Yellow: Think it might rain, love. Donna: Well good. We could use a day off from watering the plants. Yellow: Agreed. Do you have everything you want in life, my darling?

Donna: Yes, of course, dear! ...Well...

Yellow: ???

Donna: I could go for a lobster roll, I suppose... Yellow: Say less, beautiful!

Donna: Please be careful!

Oh no! Yellow runs into Justin Delgato at the food stall! Don't get him wrong, Justin is a great friend of his, it's just that he tends to talk a lot, and Yellow's loner tendencies and social awkwardness did not prepare him for socialization.

Luckily, Yellow is able to navigate his way through the conversation fairly quickly with some carefully chosen small-talking points, and despite falling off his broom as he dismounts it, he gets the lobster roll delivered to the wife fairly smoothly 💗

Gen 3. Aurora #5 Growing Too Fast

L. couldn't believe how quickly Briar Rose was growing...

Simeon was excited to begin potty training. Ella had made sure to pack special homemade knit toys for Aurora, but they wanted to keep her identity a secret, so there were no family photos.

More eventful than her infant birthday, but it was the bare minimum...

At least there was cake.

All of the adults were tense and irritated with each other during the "party," mainly because of their annoyance at L. She was threatening them with voodoo.

Still, Aurora only knew this life, and she was happy enough.

After all, Aurora had no lack of toys from her mother (though she didn't know who her mother really was), and she was being raised by 3 caring guardians.

With all of the upheaval in her life, Aurora had gone from being a sunny, self-soothing infant to a clingy toddler. Unfortunately for the ex-Sages, she hated being carried and they had to be more creative in their methods of comfort.

Thankfully, since there were never any strangers around Aurora, the Clingy trait was pretty easy to deal with. Also I love that she autonomously got heavy sleeper, since she's Sleeping Beauty!

Like mother, like daughter... Briar Rose didn't get very far on her milestones either. One of these generations, I'll eventually remember to work on these more thoroughly.

Ines invited Caleb over and gave him a knitted gift, they got a little crazy and well, Ines is pregnant again! Mateo came over to visit, Angelica and Ines crafted an end table.

rosario went to prom and spent some time with his aunt! mavo also got to meet her niece, azul's daughter. she taught both her siblings how to knit. nifty knitting is finished!

honestly this pack had some cute stuff but other than that it wasn't really that interesting outside of that. knitting takes forever, which i know it does irl, but oh my god it took forever. also the way you have to gift knittables to another sim to complete a milestone of the aspiration is not made very clear so that made it take it a lot longer to complete the aspiration. again, the knitting stuff is cute though! i like that you can make onesies for newborns and infants!

Nextdoor Twins

After work the next day, Caspian was invited over to Janet’s (the cute co-worker) home. After complaining all day about the cost of living, Janet made it clear that if Cas ever needed anything then her and her family will be there to help with what they can. They also discussed the fact that they are conveniently neighbors! Right next door too! So if Caspian ever does need a hand, they won’t have to go through as many loading screens. Wooo.

Janet introduced Cas to their mother, father and twin brother. Wait a minute, that is Janet’s TWIN? It was kind of awkward, they all watched a really bad movie together so they had that kind of bonding experience. Janet and Cas talked and talked, and Cas felt pretty close to her already. Her twin was quiet through most of the movie, and after her parents and her left the room momentarily Cas felt out of place next to this guy. What was his name again?

Oh yeah. Lance Hubble. He caught Cas by surprise when he asked what their pronouns were, which led them to a deep conversation about gender and sexuality. Lance said that he was not assigned any interest in CAS, so he is still trying to figure out what he likes. 

Lance was not what Cas expected. After Janet decided to go to bed for the night, Lance even asked Cas if they wanted to play soccer. AND his dad was okay with them playing it in the house. He seems like a pretty cool dad, and Lance seems to be somewhat close to him. Cas was a little on edge though, they seemed almost jealous that they were not given a family in CAS like the twins did. And Cas is the one with the family oriented trait! What’s up with that? So far, Cas has not been a fan of CAS related conversations. They lead to flashbacks to the hours that they spent there, all alone. Sometimes things just are not fair. 

After some more talking Caspian and Lance were getting along much better than I thought they would. Lance seemed like someone who likes to help other Sims, and perhaps that hero archetype made Caspian’s little virtual heart beat a few fps faster.
