Capp-Ruth family, Roaring Heights - #13

It rained that afternoon in Roaring Heights, a few hours before their wedding ceremony. For some, a heavy rain is a huge inconvenience, but for Ariel and Johnny, it's a sign of good luck, transition, and a long-lasting marriage.

After the sun set, the ceremony began. They happily (and tearfully) exchanged their vows, rings and declarations of love for one another.

I play around with Saramesses the mummy for a while, promptly shortening her to Sara, because my thought process moves too fast to make a pause for her full name every time.

Sara's cool, but the active hygiene meter implies that her bandaged corpse needs to be put through daily washing, and she crawls out of the bathtub sopping wet and goes on to spread puddles all over the house. Jo doesn't care, she's just happy to have an attractive person around (bless her weird tendencies). I'm the one getting vexed, though, and Sara is stuck into the blessed sarcophagus until she does the favor and grows some flesh in place of her soggy bandages.

I quickly decide that I want some proper playtime with Sara after we've gone through all the effort of bringing her back to life (twice, technically). She's got a superb set of traits, two of which she shares with Jo, and the unresolved romantic tension in the household is so concentrated it's starting to heat up my already toasty warm laptop.

Since I don't see any reason for all mummies to be unanimously dead of old age, I simply switch her to a young аdult in CAS. We'll bother with legal immortality methods when the time comes.

Another issue with game-generated mummies is that they're all assigned that gormless standard NPC mug, that's why I also have to press the random face button a couple of times. As soon as I get a suitable foundation, I go at Sara's face with a fine chisel until she actually starts to remind me of an ancient royalty with mysterious burial arrangements.

I leave the gray hair, though, because it looks rather catching on her. Let's all headcanon that going through the afterlife leaves its mark on people.

The town has a nostalgic feel to it, so I've played a lot of historical sims. (I also played Attack on Titan lol)

First of all, I have to apologize to Nornities for destroying the beach and building a house.

However, I like this location the most because it offers a great view of the town.

Now, let's take a look at the interior along with a short story.

Although it is called a story, there are no lines, so please feel free to imagine it.
