Keep reciting your Divine Mercy
youtube
I came across this video today, just before I was about to pray the Divine Mercy Chaplet at 3 PM, and it truly surprised me. I had no idea that the Church had once banned it in the 1950s—though that ban has since been lifted.
In this video, a Christian man still questions its validity, and while I haven't deeply researched his claims yet, I intend to. From what he said, I gathered that many of the concerns stem from misunderstandings—either theologians were overanalyzing every literal meaning or failing to seek scriptural explanations for St. Faustina’s experiences.
However, Scripture itself supports the Divine Mercy message and what St. Faustina experienced:
🍇 1. The Grape & the Vine: A Spiritual Connection
Saint Faustina recorded a powerful message from Jesus, describing her spiritual role:
📜 "You are a sweet grape and a chosen cluster; I want others to have a share in the juice that is flowing within you." 📖 (Diary of Saint Faustina Kowalska)
🌿 Now, compare this to Jesus’ words in Scripture:
📖 "I am the vine; you are the branches. If you remain in me and I in you, you will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing." — John 15:5
🔹 Both passages emphasize the importance of staying connected to Christ to bear spiritual fruit. 🔹 In St. Faustina’s case, the “juice” flowing through her symbolizes Divine Mercy—which she was called to share with the world. 🔹 By spreading this message, she was ensuring that the same grace and mercy of Christ flowed through others, keeping them connected to the True Vine.
🏡 2. A Special Place in Heaven: Jesus' Promise
St. Faustina also recorded a heavenly vision, where she saw the eternal reward prepared for her:
📜 "Today I was in heaven, in spirit, and I saw its inconceivable beauties and the happiness that awaits us after death." 📖 (Diary of Saint Faustina, November 27, 1936)
🔹 This mirrors Jesus' promise in Scripture:
📖 "My Father’s house has many rooms; if that were not so, would I have told you that I am going there to prepare a place for you?" — John 14:2
✨ The connection? ✔️ Both Jesus and St. Faustina affirm that heaven is a real, prepared place for the faithful. ✔️ Her vision aligns with Christ’s assurance that those who trust in Him will dwell with Him forever.
🌍 3. The Global Mission of Divine Mercy: A Fulfillment of Jesus' Words
📜 Jesus gave St. Faustina a mission to spread Divine Mercy to the world:
🕊️ "I sent prophets wielding thunderbolts to My people. Today I am sending you with My mercy to the people of the whole world." 📖 (Diary of Saint Faustina Kowalska)
🔹 This aligns with Jesus’ words in John 14:12:
📖 "Very truly I tell you, whoever believes in me will do the works I have been doing, and they will do even greater things than these, because I am going to the Father."
🔥 How does this connect? ✔️ Jesus promised that His followers would continue His work on an even greater scale. ✔️ St. Faustina’s global mission to spread Divine Mercy is a perfect example of this prophecy coming to life. ✔️ Today, millions practice the Divine Mercy devotion—a direct fulfillment of Christ’s words!
🔎 Conclusion: The Harmony Between St. Faustina & Scripture
By carefully comparing St. Faustina’s experiences with biblical truth, we find no contradiction—only confirmation! ✅
✨ The themes are clear: ✔️ Trust in Jesus' mercy 🍇 ✔️ The promise of eternal life 🏡 ✔️ The call to share God's love with the world 🌍
🔹 Rather than leading people astray, the Divine Mercy devotion calls us closer to Christ—just as the Bible teaches!
💭 What are your thoughts on this? Have you also experienced God’s mercy in a profound way? Let’s discuss! 🙏❤️ ------------------------------------------------------------------------
The ban on the Divine Mercy devotion was lifted in 1978 by Pope Paul VI, shortly before Pope John Paul II became pope.
The original ban was issued in 1959 by the Holy Office (now the Dicastery for the Doctrine of the Faith) due to concerns over inaccurate translations and misunderstandings of St. Faustina’s diary. However, after further investigation and the discovery of authentic texts, the Church reversed the decision, fully approving the devotion.
🔹 Key Timeline:
✔️ 1959 – The Holy Office prohibits the spread of the Divine Mercy devotion due to theological concerns and translation errors. ✔️ 1978 – The ban is officially lifted, allowing the devotion to be practiced worldwide. ✔️ 2000 – Pope John Paul II canonizes St. Faustina, officially establishing Divine Mercy Sunday for the Universal Church.
Would you like more details on how the ban was lifted? 😊

Monday September 23,2024- it’s funny how somedays life seems so simple and then the next day can become so complex. This is how my healing journey has been. ❤️🩹 one day I’m emotionally numb. One day I’m not. One day I’m facing all sorts of symptoms and the next nothing. One day I can sleep well and the next I can’t even sleep. One day I’m hungry and one day I’m not. I’ve been in this journey for about 4 years.. I’ve made so much progress but I still have so far to go. I want to get somewhere on this journey. I need to commit and be serious about this if I’m ever to live free and help others. May God bless me on this path.

On this episode of 4Inspirational Minutes I share with you a message about belief in Jesus. There is a song, 'Won't He Do It' by Canton Jones, which deeply moves me by reaffirming God's unwavering power and faithfulness. Recently, my pastor spoke about miracles as a signpost to God's glory, which made me reflect on facing impossibilities with self-reliance. In Mark Chapter 9, the story of the father seeking Jesus's help for his possessed son, I found a powerful source of inspiration. Despite his doubt, Jesus didn't just perform a miracle, He empowered the father to believe. This lesson teaches us to focus on the miracle worker, not the miracle needed, and to trust in Jesus, who can make a way out of no way for a new day in our lives. Let's hold on to hope, for everything is possible for one who believes!

Your Hard Work Will Never Be Enough | Ecclesiastes 3:22
What do you do when your best efforts still fall short? When all your hard work feels fleeting and fragile? You pour yourself into your job, family, and goals—but in the quiet moments, you wonder, "Does any of this last?"
Welcome to The Daily, where we engage with God’s Word—verse by verse, chapter by chapter, every single day.
Our text today is Ecclesiastes 3:22.
So I saw that there is nothing better than that a man should rejoice in his work, for that is his lot. Who can bring him to see what will be after him? — Ecclesiastes 3:22
Solomon, the wisest man to walk the earth (besides Christ), is grappling with the mystery of what happens after death. He admits there's a limit to human understanding—no human can peer beyond the veil of eternity on his own. This could be depressing, but Solomon doesn't leave us in distress. Instead, he points to a simple truth: rejoice in what you know — your work.
Now, this isn't a call to hedonism or mindless distraction. Solomon isn’t saying, "Just enjoy life because nothing else matters." Rather, he's acknowledging that while we can't control or fully comprehend what lies beyond, we can embrace the life and work God has given us today. Our daily tasks, our efforts, our roles—these are gifts. They carry meaning not because of what they produce but because of who we do them for.
Here’s the treasure in what Solomon is saying: He couldn't see what comes after, but we know something he did not—Jesus Christ. While Solomon saw the limits of human effort and understanding, Jesus revealed what lies beyond. More than that, He accomplished the work we never could: securing our eternal future through His life, death, and resurrection. Our work, no matter how meaningful, will always have its limits. But Jesus’ work is limitless, complete, and eternal. So, we rejoice—not because our work will last forever, but because His does. We trust not in the fruit of our hands, but in the finished work of His. That’s where our hope rests.
#EternalHope, #MeaningfulWork, #TrustInJesus
ASK THIS:
What drives your sense of purpose in your daily work?
How do you respond when your efforts feel insignificant?
In what ways can you rejoice in your work today?
How does Jesus' eternal work reshape your view of success?
DO THIS:
Rejoice in your work today, not for what it achieves, but because it’s a gift from God.
PRAY THIS:
Lord, help me find joy in the work You’ve given me, knowing my true hope is in Christ’s eternal work, not my own. Amen.
PLAY THIS:
Endless Praise.

Find Rest in Jesus Understanding Matthew 11 28 29
Finding True Peace in Jesus' Embrace
Introduction
In a world that never seems to slow down, finding true peace and rest can feel like an impossible dream. Yet, in Matthew 11:28-29, Jesus extends a life-changing invitation to all who are weary and burdened. This passage holds the key to experiencing genuine rest and renewal, no matter what challenges we face.
Come to Me: The Call to Rest
"Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest."
Jesus' call is simple yet profound. He invites everyone who is tired and weighed down by life's struggles to come to Him. This isn't just an offer of physical rest, but a deep, soul-refreshing peace. Jesus understands our burdens and offers Himself as the solution, providing comfort and relief.
The Gift of Jesus' Yoke
"Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls."
The concept of a yoke might seem strange at first, but it holds a powerful truth. A yoke is designed to help two animals share a load, making their work easier. When Jesus invites us to take His yoke, He’s offering to share our burdens, making them lighter. His yoke is easy and His burden light because He carries the weight for us. By learning from His gentle and humble heart, we find true rest for our souls.
Reinforcing the Promise with Related Verses
To deepen our understanding of this promise, let's look at some related scriptures:
Philippians 4:6-7: "Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God. And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus." Trusting God with our worries brings a peace that surpasses understanding.
Isaiah 40:29-31: "He giveth power to the faint; and to them that have no might he increaseth strength... they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint." God strengthens us when we are weak and renews our energy.
Fun Fact
In the times of Jesus, a well-made yoke was crucial for efficient farming. It was carefully crafted to fit the animals perfectly, ensuring they could work together without strain. This illustrates how Jesus' yoke is perfectly suited to us, easing our burdens and making our journey manageable.
Living the Promise
To truly live out the promise of Matthew 11:28-29, we need to actively seek Jesus and rely on His strength. This means daily surrendering our struggles to Him and trusting in His care. As we walk with Him, we learn to embody His meek and humble spirit, finding peace in every situation.
A Prayer for Peace
Dear Lord, We come to You weary and burdened, seeking the rest You promise. Help us to take Your yoke upon us and learn from Your gentle and humble heart. Grant us the peace that surpasses all understanding and renew our spirits. Guide us in Your ways and strengthen us to face each day with Your grace. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Conclusion
The invitation in Matthew 11:28-29 is a lifeline in our busy, burdened lives. Jesus offers us rest, not just from our physical toil but from the deepest stresses of our hearts. By taking His yoke and learning from Him, we find a peace that transforms our lives. Embrace this promise and experience the profound rest and renewal Jesus offers.
