Harry Letterman, a 59 year old stable mixed genre (one of the oldest surviving in his “genre”). He’s a journalist and newspaper salesman who gathers information secretly in all genres but publishes his works as a toon.

Mixed genres is an extraordinary rare genre (an occurrence of 1 in 350,000 births).

An identifying feature for the stable version of this genre is a difference in the pupil as the different pupil may react to the emotion of the person. Those who are stable can shape shift through genres with ease, many use this ability to aid their daily lives.

The unstable version of this genre experiences painful glitching and morphing to the body as different extremities will change through the different genres at different times and with different genres that are not suited to be mixed with one another. This results in an outcasting/rejection of all genres. Many unstable genres seek help while others accept their hopelessness.

An unstable mixed genre can become stable (idk how yet guys 😭) and a stable mixed genre can become unstable when subjected to intense emotion or pain. If protecting themself or a loved one, a mixed genre may be able to become steadily unstable temporarily to create the most adequate body for the situation (eg. mixing a toons power with a grims body).

Because of these uses, crime syndicates will often look out for people of this genre and when they do, well, it’s not too good. Tracking devices are usually implanted, and experimentation is known to take place (this may end in severe injury or death). Harry unfortunately was a victim of this a few years back but managed to get free of this torment, this resulted in both a hatred and fear of meeting or trusting a Grim.

Bare in mind this is not a canon genre but Kat if you’d ever consider this into your world building, you are more than welcome to.

Back in 2017 I signed up for one of the Cards Against Humanity sillies and did their Cards Against Humanity Saves America. Basically they were like fuck Tr*mp and his border wall and used the funds from the campaign to buy land and to make all 150,000 contributors part owners of said land across the US/Mexico border.

It was fun and silly and I got a little certificate.

Today I got an email that Elon Musk illegally annexed that land for SpaceX and that CAH are suing him over it. So possibly I’ll get like $100 if they manage to win a lawsuit and stick it to Musk. It’s like even more bang for my original buck.

they’re calling it block party 2024. just blocking and ignoring countless celebrities who havent said shit about palestine. influencers, actors, anyone who went to the met gala, whatever, they’re getting blocked. and people keep talking about how cathartic it is, how good it feels, how they never realized they could DO that. there was some kind of subconscious law against blocking famous people, but it’s broken, and people are LOVING it. and it’s WORKING. a social media/digital advertising coordinator was talking about how ad companies are PANICKING, because they can’t accurately target anymore. so many big influencers, including fucking LIZZO started talking about palestine the MOMENT their follower counts started going down. and the best part? no one is forgiving them. lizzo posted a tiktok asking people to donate to palestinian families, and all the comments just said you’re a multimillionaire. put your money where your mouth is. blocked.

i feel like i’m witnessing the downfall of celebrity culture, right here right now. people are waking up.

why do i keep seeing whole videos on advice for artfight from “veterans” or whatever. here’s all the advice you need:

you don’t need to draw every day

you don’t need to fully render every drawing, sketches still count and the person receiving it will still love it

you don’t need a fully polished ref sheet for every single character, having a basic one or even just a colour palette along with whatever other art you’ve done works fine in most cases

you don’t need to draw a fully rendered piece every single day do not burn yourself out or injure yourself for funny little internet points good lord
