At the end of the episode, Splinter still saves Karai, but she doesn’t fall into the sewers (a blatant excuse to further my big sis Karai agenda, and give her more time with the family) Also, each new batch of worms is stronger than the next, so that’s why Splinter’s healing hands work on Karai but not Donnie 🤫 not at all because convenient shhh.

If the Shredder were to recycle using the brainworm on one of the turtles, I think he would put in a failsafe. He obviously wouldn’t use this feature with Karai, but he’d have no qualms about using it on Donnie.

Day 28: karai and her brothers

smthn somthin feeling safe enough to fall asleep around others somthin somthin trust and comfort and the vulnerability of letting ur guard down

I am so weak for this shit y’all karai learning how to be a family and the turtles learning how to be hers and ahhhhh the turmoil and struggles they’ll face and over come once the walls start coming down and they all allow themselves to be family

no way karai is going to adjust to four brothers in a night or them to an older sister who’s now head of the foot with foot upbringing. They have a lot to catch up on so Movie night is a good place to start

What is your Lost Love AU about?

Lost Love AU: Tale of Two Sisters

Lost Love AU is a parallel universe that explores one divergent idea: what-if Big Mama said yes to Lou Jitsu's proposal and never made him a Battle Nexus Champion?

It follows a similar plot to 2012 but with a villainous turn. Big Mama and Lou Jitsu get married, Yoshi adopts a turtle, Draxum kidnaps and mutates Frida and Lou before kidnapping Karai at birth, Big Mama dies, and Splinter vows revenge against Draxum. Despite being raised as enemies, Karai and Frida develop a close bond, finding comfort amidst the neglect of their fathers and eventually deciding to take over the world that's forsaken them.

I love the unspoken indication that Leo 100% relayed his and his brothers' full names to Karai some time during S1 because there's absolutely no rhyme or reason for her to know their full names when they almost exclusively use their nicknames around everyone.

And after watching how Mikey hardly wasted any time to rave about his brothers to Napoleon, I'm hit with the funny idea of Leo and Mikey being the types to talk at length about their family when they find a willing listener (I guess Raph kind of fits into that category with him telling Casey about Slash lol).

Donnie on the other hand was stuck venting to Timothy about the woes of formerly being friends with a human girl when you're a mutant-
