oh, also. i didn't tell you guys about the mitski concert!!! it was so fucking spectacular, refreshing, and unforgettable. the tliiasaw tour was my second time seeing her live and god, i'm so, so, so happy i got to go to berlin and enjoy this performance because that's what it was: an artistic performance, a spectacle, a transcendent experience, to be honest. and i don't mean it in a "god, i love mitski, she's soooo good" way. the musical setting (gosh, the band was so fucking exceptional!), the scenography, the illumination, the choreography, the vocals… combined together, they all created an immersive experience, as if i was sitting and enjoying a theatrical production rather than an indie-pop concert. guys, it was just so fucking mind-blowing, especially the new musical arrangements for the old songs. they sounded funky and familiar but unique at the same time. you could FEEL the pure joy of making music, performing, and just… mitski's happiness and contentment of being on stage, on her own terms. i hope that the rest of the tour will continue to make everyone on the team feel satisfied with their work and that they will treat themselves to a big, nice break, because they truly deserve it!!

#i can't even describe it #it was just so fucking amazing #ofc there were a couple of 'ilys' in the beginning #which made EVERYONE uncomfortable #but after mitki's little 'stand-up' segment everyone was SILENT #and it made me so happy #she truly seemed to enjoy this tour more than when i saw her back in 2022 in prague #and i'm so happy for her #mitski #the land is inhospitable and so are we #the land is inhospitable and so are we tour #mitski concert #concert #personal #moira speaks
