I’m sorry but I will never ever understand Electra haters. Especially those who butcher her character in order to make Clytemnestra look an misunderstood murder angel

I often see people over in the clock app painting NHS as outdoing JGY in his scheming and tbh I get where they're coming from but I think that's just dubious at best because JGY and NHS are very different characters. Bear with me.
I don't think either classify as schemers per se— NHS's plan could have been derailed by so many things that had a very fair chance of happening and that's not scheming imo. At least not decent scheming. NHS is a smart resentful guy with means and patience who happened to get lucky.
JGY on the other hand, unless I'm forgetting something, we never see him actually playing the long game, do we? Save for sunshot. He takes measures to protect himself against getting his crimes discovered but that's basic self preservation rather than long term thinking.
JGY works with his current circumstances because he has too or he'll die, while NHS has the means, the safety, and the time to play the long game.
NHS has the luck that nothing on his plans derailed, while JGY does not, and that kind of highlights their respective social positions, JGY as a hard working man who gets the short end of the stick every time and NHS as headshaker who gets to do whatever he feels like doing because he's gentry. Also NHS being given more grace than JGY
TLDR NHS and JGY are very complex and very different in the ways they operate (noth of which reflect their lives and experiences) and reducing All That to "schemer 2 outdos schemer 1" is both reductive and a disservice to both their characters

Monster Characters as Social Media Influencers
My mind has been plagued by the worst thoughts
Kenzo Tenma: He’s fine. He’s not online. He is fighting a losing battle to convince everyone else to reduce social media consumption
Eva Heinemann: Fashion TikTok/instagrammer who talks about thrifting and selling pieces for like $400 girlboss style, promotes MLMs
Heinrich Lunge: Full time internet sleuth, part time doxxer
Wolfgang Grimmer: Niche video essayist, big “this is just a brief look into the topic....don’t look at the video length” energy
Johan Liebert: NFT and crypto rugpull schemer, for the fun of it
Nina Fortner: Streamer who reacts to videos / drama / discourse / events and pulls out her schooling in law when applicable
Lotte Frank: Twitter/TikTok journalist of the “I asked random people about ___” variety where it frames the people being asked as stupid to make her point
Rudi Gillen: True Crime podcaster
Roberto: Alpha Male lifestyle coach

yknow what, either people want the internet to be censored more, or you want it to be at the level where people are allowed to say fuck cunt shit bitch 2000 times in a 20 minute timespan and im sick of people acting like you can have it both ways

Saw two posts recently and I disagreed with them for the same reason and that is, y’all better not be falling into the pit of dissing things bc they’re not “sophisticated” enough for you or something.
Like someone complaining about cutesy wutesy terms or like stupid fanfic writing. Some people be saying stuff like ‘no! You have to like real books! Only use real words to describe yourself!’ Who are you? The cringe police?
Actually the colloquialisation of language is kinda a complicated topic. Yeah we shouldn’t dumb down words and stuff when it comes to discussing serious things and we shouldn’t be calling anyone else things that they don’t want to be called. But if someone is using casual language to refer to themselves and they’re someone who can ‘reclaim’ (for lack of a better term) that language, then I don’t think it’s hurting anyone. Sometimes we need to use serious language and sometimes we don’t.
And let’s not make fun of hashtag weird fanfic or fandom (as long as it doesn’t actually promote harmful views or cause harm).
There’s obviously exceptions to both these points but my general rule is, let’s not attack things for the sake of ‘it’s weird’ or ‘different’. Being judgemental and shaming people to conform to arbitrary standards is the talking point of literally every single hate crimer. That mindset is used by ableists, racists, sexists, queerphobes etc etc. Lets not forget that.
