I want to ruin ya'lls day like I further ruined mine by realising this.

In the chrous towards the end, when Till is looking back on Ivan and round 6, Luka doing his manipulation spell and the screens blasting ivan, the lyrics talk about being :

"oh, in a blink, gone

Forget everything and just enjoy

Oh in a blink, gone, dont miss this moment

Im telling you blink gone"

It literally summarises Ivan and his actions for Till.

In round 6, Ivan saw Till stopped singing and in a blink kissed him, got shot and any regrets he may have had were gone in a blink as Till finally saw him- he sacrificed everything, but enjoyed that split second of knowing his love was safe, for now, and he'd been seen.

For Till, in a blink (even if a long one, cause he was his eyes closed for a long while during that scene until Ivan got shot up) Ivan was gone, dead with one little smile before he drops.

And IT HURTS THAT HE LOOKS UP AT LUKA AND SEES IVAN WHEN ITS THOSE LYRICS BEING SUNG TOO

"Im telling you blink, gone

Dont regret these moments

The clock goes tick tock."

Is symbolix to me too because!

Till regrets it, and ironically, while Luka is imitating Ivan to hurt Till, it feels like Ivan IS there saying "dont regret that moment" and to go on win- because thats what he wants. But Till DOES regret it, because Ivan was his best friend- they were still close, even with his crush on Mizi.

But Luka distorts it somewhat too, because he ISN'T Ivan, but knows Ivan is his weakness. He looks coldly at Till, knowing he's wom because he's got his weakness. His regret.

AND IVAN, even if dead and not real in this scene, he looks sad and knowing- resigned even when overlapped by Luka imitating him.

Because Ivan is not cruel to Till, not in moments that matter- or at least not intentionally. Ivan knew more than anyone that this was all doomed. His love for Till was doomed, and so was his sacrifice.

Till is emotion and Till is so achingly bright and passionate. He could never just get over such a thing like Ivan's death and how it happened.

But it feels like Ivan is truly there, looking solemnly at Till, resigned knowing that Till will not win this- because like Till not looking at him or being with him was his sorrow, Till's is that Ivan died and left him- feelings platonic or not.

The moment Till recalled round 6 and Ivan was the moment he was doomed to lose. It was the moment Luka secured his win.

The clock goes tick tock is like the countdown to the inevitable.

Till's death.
