i’ve just come to the realization that i cant see the vultures anymore :(

at my old house there were these massive trees and there would be black vultures perched on them or on the church at the end of the road

there were like 10 of them on a single tree at one point and that wasn’t even all the ones in the area

they would sometimes just sit in the road thats too small to properly be 2 lanes eating a dead squirrel and when a car slowly drove up they would just stare and then hop out of the road (unhurried and uncaring, and the minute you drove past they would hop back into the road)

now i live in an apartment complex where those massive trees aren’t here :(

i didn’t see those guys all that often but i miss them.
