Just want everyone to know: this is the EXACT translation for this scene in the Dragon Ball Super manga, and what anyone would infer if they didn’t know Pan was a name. This is very likely what Goku HEARD, since he hadn’t seen Pan in a while at this point.
To make it more clear, this would be akin to someone saying “I have to go pick up lavender”(using lavender because it’s a name and also a noun)
Obviously, if you haven’t seen anyone with that name for a while, the first thing you’re gonna think of is “why are you getting lavender”
As someone who has a friend with a noun for their name, this actually has happened to me once (her name is Autumn and someone said something along the lines of “it’s autumn” to which I replied something like “I just call it fall tbh” or some stupid shit lol)

  vii. the saloon
when jungkook mentioned the saloon to you, you thought it was a joke poking at the countryside life.
“oh, it’s actually called a saloon. like, unironically. that’s what the text said,” you rambled into your phone, edged between your ear and shoulder, as you stood in your kitchen in front of your laptop.
on the screen, you were assembling an excel sheet of sorts to assist your navigation through the business side of the farm. thankfully, this was exactly the field you had long worked and studied in and knowing this before taking on your new role made the transition far easier. there was hardly any product to be profiting from, as you had just arrived, and you were preparing the document before the time came to deal with vendors and other local businesses.
“oh, honey, that place has actually been called ‘the saloon’ ever since i was a little girl,” your mom’s voice chimed in from the other end.
since the turn of your early twenties, your phone calls to your parents were far and few between and you could hear the surprise in her tone when she initially picked up. but, your grandpa’s letter seemed to be growing truer everyday, as your surroundings made drew you to reconnect with what you thought was to be lost.
eyebrows furrowed, you continued to scroll through your work. “mom, do you think he meant it as a date? i can’t do a date, i literally just got here!”
“calm down. it’s that amber valley hospitality. but,” your mom paused, “you did have crushes on each other growing up.”
  “mom, no way - “
she merely laughed. “it was so obvious! you mailed a valentine’s day card to jungkook every year. one time, he punched little jimin because he called you ‘jungkook’s ugly girlfriend.’”
“and then he screamed that i wasn’t ugly. huh, i do remember that,” you began to think.
spending time reminiscing with your mom momentarily distracted you from the anxiety you felt, waiting for the evening to come. jungkook did end up texting you, asking if you were coming down to the saloon for the birthday surprise. you looked away and closed your eyes when you pressed ‘send’ on the confirmation that you would drop by.
the idea made you nervous only because it had been so long since you went out and met new people. there was no such thing as free time in your old life and you really only maintained surface-level friendships with your coworkers in your last year of the job.  however, knowing amber valley and the tight-knit community, it was only a matter of time before you got acquainted with everyone, whether you liked it or not.
by the time it was six, you’d forced yourself to get changed and inspected your outfit several times before leaving. the last thing you wanted to do was stand out too much. so, you put on your favourite denim jeans and a plain long sleeve top, putting away your go-to strappy stilettos for the night.
making your way into town was quick and soon enough, you found the pub situated in between the flower shop and the hardware store. it definitely looked like it’d been around since your mom was a little girl, the exterior siding showing age with chips here and there.
  “hey y/n.”
you jumped, having not paid attention to your surroundings. turning around, it was taehyung holding a box adorned in magenta polka dot wrapping. he wore a similar outfit to the one from the day before, except a different cowboy hat. you wondered if there was a store in town that specialized in selling just these hats.
“hi taehyung. is this for jin?” you offered a smile, gesturing to the box.
a pleased grin formed on taehyung’s face. “yup. i’m pretty sure i got him the best gift out of everyone, but don’t tell anyone.”
he walked ahead of you and opened the door, pausing. you realized he was opening it for you and you quickly thanked him, going right in. small town hospitality.
it was saturday evening, but to your surprise, there were hardly any patrons in the bar. taehyung then pointed to a sign by the door, which you missed completely. it read: ‘private event, invite only.’
“oh, wow, am i v.i.p?” you joked, following him to the back of the room, where a stack of presents were grouped on one table.
“of course! you’re jungkook’s friend, after all,” he exclaimed, setting his box down with the others. “you guys go way back, huh? how long has it been since you guys since saw each other?”
you counted in your head. “i think twelve or thirteen years. a while.”
“what, no facebook back in the day?” he teased.
“no, he was never nearly fond of that. after i stopped coming for the summers, we lost contact completely.” you couldn’t recall any attempts for continued communication afterwards, other than your grandpa offering updates here and there about him. “we used to write, but i don’t know what happened. . .”
for a while, you wondered why jungkook never wrote you again after you stopped coming to the valley. admittedly, looking back, it hurt your preteen self that he never tried. but, eventually, you moved on and left jungkook in your childhood.
taehyung nodded slowly. “so. . .you didn’t know about what happened?”
you already knew what he was talking about and squeezed your eyes shut in embarrassment. “no. i felt really bad about it.”
“it’s okay. since i moved to town, i’ve really admired jungkook. if there’s any sort of pain, he hides it really well for the sake of others,” he said, leaning on the wall.
that sounded like the jungkook you remembered. he was always the type to put others before himself, no matter how small the issue. then, you began thinking about jiwon.
“taehyung, can i ask you something?” you suddenly said. “jiwon. she’s only nine. and jungkook doesn’t have any other family. . .”
the smile at the corner of taehyung’s lips was sad. “yeah. jungkook is her primary guardian and has been since he was nineteen.”
the answer seemed to weigh a hundred pounds and you had to take a second to take it all in. there were so many questions that formed, floating around your head and you couldn't seem to find the words to articulate any of them. before you could even try, you jumped again at the sudden appearance of two new individuals, one of them being jungkook himself and forced you to put away your thoughts.
“we’re behind schedule, did yoongi put the cake in the fridge?” this new person was turned to taehyung, carrying a case of beer. “we need - oh, hi! y/n! i totally remember you, i heard you were back!”
you’d never seen someone with such energy, exhibiting positivity like a ray of sunshine. it seemed like he was genuinely delighted to see you. taking a closer look at his features, you recognized him to be jung hoseok - jungkook’s next door neighbour. he put down the case in his hands and immediately pulled you into a bone-crushing hug.
“hoseok, hi!” you winced, trying your best to hug him back, but it certainly made you burst into a giggle.
he was the first person to remember you on the spot, which took you aback. a few years older than you, you weren’t as close with him as you were with jungkook growing up, but he was always around. you remember him as the big brother who showed you and jungkook the cool ‘older kid’ shows and games that your parents would have never let you watch at that young age.
“how have you been? you look so grown up! you’re really staying here for good?” the questions were rapid-fire, one after another.
beside him, jungkook was smiling, but tapped hoseok to bring him back into the main conversation. “hyung. hyung! we’re behind schedule, remember?” he groaned, but grinned wider when you met his eyes. “nice to see you, though, bunny. really glad you came.”
“oh, right.” hoseok quickly let go and cleared his throat, beginning to point to each of you with authority. “you, taehyung. go help jimin with the slideshow. namjoon has the pinata.”
pinata? how old was this jin person, was he one of jiwon’s friends?
“you, jungkook. jin said he’s five minutes away, we need you to distract him for a bit longer.”
“can i help?” you piped in, feeling a bit out of place. “i mean, i’m here as a last minute guest, i’m happy to help in any way.”
hoseok clapped his hands together in glee. “thank you, y/n! go help jungkook distract jin, you being there will give him a reason to yap on. let’s go team!” he raised his fist in encouragement and in the blink of an eye, he already dashed off.
at this, jungkook seemed unfazed and frankly, so were you. you remember hoseok’s personality to be like this - extremely vigorous and could never sit in one place. on the other hand, taehyung looked perplexed as much as he appeared amused. he only shrugged, picking up the case of beer that hoseok clearly forgot.
“let’s go team, i guess. i’ll see you guys in a bit!” taehyung chuckled, walking off.
you were expecting to be asked to move around chairs or help bring out food. this wasn’t quite in your cards. you turned to jungkook in confusion, who chuckled at your expression.
  “come follow me.”
he led the two of you back out the saloon, hands in his jean pockets. the early summer air was stunningly humid and coming outside was like hitting a muggy and sticky wall. but, there was one thing that couldn’t be replaced.
you couldn’t help but stare up at the sky, a fixed gaze. “you can really see the stars when you’re in the valley.”
the stars, dotted across the night, twinkled and smiled down at you. it was a view that others only romanticized and dreamt of in carefully crafted paintings and poems made to move the soul. and now, this dream was your new home.
jungkook mimicked the way you tilted your head up, lost with his own gaze. “i’ve lived here all my life and i never get tired of it.”
  “i can’t believe i forgot about this. . .” you trailed off.
he pointed out to the sky. “that one is ursa major and you can see - “
“ - the big dipper,” the two of you said in unison, which led to a shared laughter.
astronomy was one of your biggest interests growing up, having stacks of books and a tapestry of the night sky in your childhood bedroom. your bedroom in the farmhouse also had a shelf full of astronomy books, which your grandpa still kept until his passing. having ignored the task of organizing and arranging your new bedroom, which was the same room you occupied over your summers in amber valley, you made a note to go through this shelf when you arrived home.
jungkook said, “you’re the one that taught me about that,” he turned back to you. “you actually used to randomly quiz me on constellations, it was really stressful.”
you could see your younger self sitting on your grandpa’s porch steps with jungkook, who lazied on the hammock across from you. you would compile actual multiple-choice questions and threw pebbles at him whenever he got an answer wrong. eventually, your grandpa scolded you for that, so you changed your weapon of choice to toy balls.
“i guess my lessons paid off, though,” you bantered.
following this, you heard a person shout jungkook’s name. you looked over and saw a man walking in your direction. he was tall and handsome and his smile was inviting. a little too handsome, he reminded you of models you’d seen in high fashion ads. his clothes contributed to the image, a patterned short sleeve button down and t-shirt that gave off neat and put-together. he wore jeans like what seemed to be 90 percent of the town, but you noticed the luxury brand belt.
“oh, seokjin!” to this, jungkook nudged you, as if signalling for you to be ready for something.
this was jin? the birthday boy with a pinata? he had to be around hoseok’s age.
“hey! hoseok told me to meet him here, have you see him?” seokjin began looking around. “he is working tonight, right?”
“uh, did he?” jungkook’s tone was not convincing and you couldn’t believe the hoseok made such a horrible liar be the distraction. “i think he is, want me to call him?”
“um, yeah. he said he was returning something he borrowed from me.” seokjin looked at him strangely. “why don’t i just go inside and check? why are you just waiting out here?”
“this is y/n!” jungkook suddenly blurted out, seemingly having no way around the conversation. his smile was painful and avoided making eye contact.
your eyes went wide and seokjin turned to you, having not realized there was another person in his presence. “oh, i’m so sorry! i didn’t see you there.”
“yeah, hi, that’s me. y/n.” this time, it was jungkook looking at you like you were the least convincing person in the world. you cleared your throat and offered a handshake to seokjin.
seokjin didn’t seem to notice your awkwardness and took your hand. “it’s really nice to meet you. jungkook actually told me a lot about you!” it was subtle, but you could hear jungkook groan.
you raised your eyebrows at jungkook. “oh, did he?”
“you guys grew up together, right? and you’re taking over the old farm?”
although you could tell right off the bat that seokjin wasn’t from amber valley, his deamanour was just as welcoming and friendly. he asked you a few questions about where you’re from and how settling in was.
“i’m sure you’ll be a natural. it sounds like you already have a lot of experience!” seokjin exclaimed and his positivity gave you genuine reassurance. “we’re all friends around here, so don’t be shy to reach out if you need anything.”
  “thank you,” you replied.
jungkook tried to regain his composure. “seokjin runs the bakery down the street.”
“yeah! my wife and i used to buy eggs from your grandpa all the time, hopefully we can keep doing that,” seokjin winked at you.
then, the front door of the saloon cracked open just enough for hoseok to poke his head outside. there was no sign of activity from the inside, with the lights now off and all voices coming to a complete silence.
seokjin tilted his head slightly when looking at hoseok. “there you are. are you. . closed? the bar is closed on a saturday night?” he asked.
“yeah, uh, plumbing issues,” hoseok’s eyes darted over to you and jungkook. “y/n, jungkook! what brings you here around this time of day? you should all come in!”
despite the growing skepticsm etched on his face, seokjin glanced over to you two and shrugged. he followed his friend’s gesture to come inside.
you mumbled to jungkook, “you and your friends are all terrible liars.” to this, jungkook stifled a laugh and playfully jabbed his elbow into your arm.
hoseok opened the door wider and seokjin went in first, while you and jungkook trailed after. you were surprised at how well they made the interior appear deserted, with not a single soul in sight. you did noticed that they even stacked the chairs on the tables, as if the establishment was really closed.
“by the way, hoseok is the manager of the saloon,” jungkook leaned into your ear and whispered.
the floorboards creaked with every step, only adding onto the heavy silence in the atmosphere. seokjin looked around, eyebrows furrowed. he cleared his throat, hoping to cut the awkward tension.
seokjin started, “so, y/n, what happened with you and ju - “
  “surprise!”
all of the lights flickered on and filled the room. upbeat music turned on suddenly, causing seokjin to jump and yelp. two dozen or so people popped out from random places - underneath the booths, from behind the walls, and from behind the bar. balloons and streamers began spilling out from out of nowhere.
“happy birthday seokjin!” everyone yelled in unison.
you awkwardly tried to join in once you caught onto what everyone was saying. despite that, the high energy ended up engulfing you and you couldn’t help but smile. some of the boys started throwing streamers at seokjin, while namjoon appeared from under the bar with a lit chocolate cake and began approaching the birthday boy in question.
“thanks, y/n!” hoseok nudged you, as everyone began singing to seokjin. “it’s exciting that you’re around again!”
as the song concluded and seokjin enthusastically blew out his candles, you cheered along with everyone else. over the cheering, jungkook found his way to you again. he raised his hand, offering a high-five, which you immediately accepted.
something about the atmosphere unlocked something inside you. within days, you were welcomed into the community and for the first time in a long time, saw people that could become your actual friends. maybe this was what your grandpa was talking about.
“yeah,” jungkook added, “it is exciting that you’re around again.”
“real connections. . .” you muttered to yourself, remembering the contents of your grandpa’s letter.
the yelling got louder, as the partygoers chanted for seokjin to make a speech. “huh, what did you say?” jungkook shouted over the chanting.
  “nothing!”
you weren’t prepared for the next part of grandpa’s wish for you. it was a surprise to you that you were able to ease into the town and become comfortable connecting with the people around you. at the end of the day, though, you had a farm to run and you were about to face the worst of it.
  viii. the second storm
your grandpa’s last wishes for you were to reconnect with people and nature. nature. you didn’t realize what you were getting yourself into.
“oh my god! why does mother nature hate me?!”
the best thing about living in a big farmhouse by yourself was the fact that you could make as much noise as you wanted. you often found yourself yelling at the top of your lungs, shrieking like a bird when you came across anything frustrating. considering you were learning an entirely new job on your own, it happened quite often.
you screamed into the void after your first phone call with a vendor, who kept on asking you if you knew what you were doing. you swore you almost broke your vocal cords when you sunk into the mud the first time you checked out the fields after a rainy night. at least you walked away several metres from the coop before you screeched in agony after the chickens gave you a hard morning on time.
when a soft knock on your front door interrupted your emotional breakdown, your heart stopped.
  “fuck!” you whispered to yourself.
who would be visiting you? what if it was someone important, like mayor kim? maybe they didn’t hear - no, they definitely heard.
you tentatively approached the door and took a deep breathe before swinging it open.
“i didn’t know you started tending to hyenas on the farm.”
it was jungkook with a lazy, shit-eating grin. it was early in the morning, about 8am, and he wore workout clothes. baggy grey sweatpants and a white nike tank-top, you felt like you were straining to keep your eyes on his face and not anywhere else.
“oh, shut it. good morning to you, too,” you shot back. “to what do i owe the pleasure?”
“sorry, i would’ve texted, but i was already passing by on my run,” jungkook said.
it’d been about a week since you last saw him, though he was nice enough to check in on you every once in a while to see if you were doing okay with the farm. you hardly left home, used to the same routine of working and going right to bed everyday from your old life and the habit was hard to break.
he continued, “anyway, i saw your windows hanging from outside and i just wanted to make sure - “
you opened the front door wider for him to see the state of your front entryway and his jaw dropped. there was water everywhere on the floor. the storm from the night before was aggressive and the age of the house couldn’t stand it. you didn’t anticipate for it to be this bad, having just shoved the windows closed before you went to bed.
“yeah, they’re wrecked,” you sighed, looking over to what was left of it, considering most of it was on the ground. “actually, that’s why i was screaming.”
“you know, i take what i said back. totally justified.”
“thanks,” you rolled your eyes and sighed. he made a gesture as if to come in and you obliged, carefully stepping aside and making sure you weren’t stepping in a puddle. “i’m surprised this hasn’t happened before.”
he let out a low whistle, as he walked inside and took in the sight of your floors. “honestly, me neither. you would think this would’ve happened already ages ago.”
you didn’t know what else to do but shrug. “i can handle it.” despite your words, you certainly could not handle it. there were still a million things you had to take care of around the farm and dealing with broken windows and water was an incredible burden that you didn’t know where to start.
“shit. look, i have to go to work in a bit, but let me help you out,” jungkook said.
you instantly shook your head. “jungkook, no. it’s fine, really, i got it.”
“you’ve never picked up a screwdriver in your life.”
“hey, you don’t know that!” you wanted to slap him upside the head like from when you were kids, but found the strength to refrain.
it was only jokes and jungkook’s smirk showed it, but his tone then became serious. “okay, then, at least let me help you fix your windows. dude, you live alone in this big ass house on this big ass farm. just say yes.”
at this point, you could tell he was exasperated with your stubborness and you laughed at it. you weren’t one to turn down someone offering to do manual labour for you, but you were hesitant to show any lack of indepdence. though, something told you to say yes and it wasn’t jungkook’s annoyance with your persistence.
“okay, fine. you’re real annoying, you know that?” you had to add in the last part, it was only natural.
he shook his head. “thank you - oh, how lucky i am for milady to accept my lousy, peasant self to fix your windows!” at that, you shoved him playfully and when he barely moved from your push, jungkook couldn’t help but chuckle.
“i know you’re perfectly capable of doing things yourself, by the way. you just shouldn’t have to all the time,” he gave you a pointed look.
you nodded slowly, looking down at your feet. “thank you, jungkook.”
though it was only 8 in the morning, you decided to take a later start in the day, since you usually woke up at the crack of dawn. you had your entire day ahead of you and what felt like a hundred things to do and the last thing you wanted to add was a trip to the hardware store.
“of course,” he carefully tiptoed around the water, moving back to the front door. “it’s what friends are for. i’ll come by tomorrow morning, how’s that sound?”
this is not what you meant when you decided to “reconnect with nature” at all. with your fluffy indoor slippers soaked in rainwater, you were certainly more than connected with it. you made a mental note to visit the beach and call it a day, hoping that would fulfill your grandpa’s wish for you to be one with mother earth and that the forces of nature would leave you alone after that.

Goku x Vegetas Daughter
"Y/N" Trunks called out into the forest where his elder sister was busy training. "You sure she's here Trunks?" Goten asked also in search of his sister figure "KAHMEHAMEHAAA" there was a yell off in the distance and a large blast followed "FOUND HER" both boys perked up at the sound. They where quick to take off into the air following the destruction that was left behind. "Okay that was awesome, but you have to make sure you use you hips more when you send it" The boys landed next to her and Goten's father. "Ah dad, what are you guys doing?" Goten asked with Goku standing there with his hands on Y/N's hips showing her the movement he wanted her to do. "Oh Goten, Trunks Hey guys" Goku smiled brightly and released Y/N hips. "I was showing Y/N how to get more power behind her Kahmehamha" Y/N stood straight and looked up at Goku. "Thanks for the training session, Dad refuses to help me with my form" She said bowing in thanks. "It's not a problem at all, always a pleasure when it's just the two of us" Goku brought her into a side hug, his arm slung over her shoulder.  "Oh yeah, Mom said the feast is ready, she said we're just waiting on you Goku" Trunks remembering as to why they where there. "OH YEAH, I'm starving, come on Y/N we better not keep them waiting" Goku was already in the air the two youngsters following suit. "Oh um a-actually, Mom said she doesn't want to see Y/N right now" Trunks frowned as he told his sister what their mother had said "WHAT but Y/N had a full day of training and she's hungryyyyy" Goku wined at the information. "Dad maybe it's best if we leave her, m-mom not happy you've been spending so much time with her either" Goten said. He was trying to keep his farther out of the dog house. "but, Y/N, are you?" Goku was so sad, Him and Y/N where like best friends, they battled, hangout, and even took the boys training together all the time "Oh it's okay Goku, go eat I'm sure you're hungry. Plus I'm um mm Fasting thats right, a cleanse" She lied, she knew he would offer to stay or bring her food but that would only get him in trouble with his Wife. "You sure, I could" "No no go enjoy, I'll be here like always" she smiled and ushered them to leave. "Well okay, I guess we better go then" and with that the boys took off heading towards Collapse corp.  "Dad you have to stop running off with Y/N" Goten complained " Yeah Goku, Mrs.ChiChi thinks you're cheating with my sister" Trunks complainant as he circled to the other side of Goten. "WHAT, that's insane, sure Y/N is sweet and really pretty and a great fighter but I love ChiChi, it's just nice having someone to hang with that can match my energy" Goku confessed while looking back "She makes me feel normal, you know?" He look back forward. "I get it dad we love Y/N too but nobody else does" Goten felt so sad whenever discussing her. "But i just don't understand, She kind, smart, powerful, and just perfect" Trunks defended his sister. "I agree Trunks, there has to be more to her and Vegeta's history then what we have been told" Goku face changed to one of determination "and I think we need to find out" "Yeah, lets do it" the boys where more than excited to find out why their beloved sister was hated so much. "I thinks we've been left out of the loop and I want in" Goku said "ALRIGHT OPERATION UNCOVER IS A GO" Trunks cheered before they began their decent to the ground.
"GOKU WERE THE HELL HAVE YOU BEEN?" Goku was already saddened by his wife's voice. "AHAH ChiChi hey, I've just been training with Y/N" Goku said a light sweat forming. "WHAT HAVE I SAID ABOUT THAT BITCH" Chichi ignited with straight furry. "She's a whore who just wants in your pants" she glared at Goku, If only looks could kill. "HEY, DON'T SAY THAT ABOUT MY SISTER" Trunks desperately wanted to defend his sister but he was never allowed to. "TRUNKS" Bulma holler walking in with Vegeta "What have I said about calling that THING you sister" Vegeta scolded him. "I,- DAD SHE'S YOUR KID" Trunks was almost in tears "He's right Mr.Vegeta" Goten intervened "Goten, shush" ChiChi was quick to silence him. The boys always argurded about Y/N especially Trunks, He loved her deeply but today a new voice intervened.  "You know Vegeta, I've always wondered how Y/N came to be" Goku pushed the conversation on. "I've already told ya, She was a Fling back when I was working with Frieza" "Right but that doesn't explain why you hate her" Gohan was now involved. He had always been fawn of the girl, but his mother had forbidden him from talking with her as they grew up. "I never asked for her, she nothing but a burden that is utterly useless to me" Vegeta set the cup he was holding down. "Plus she's far to weak to actually be my child" he had a smug look on his face. "Naw I don't think so Vegeta, She's really strong. I've seen it myself" Goku was determined to defend her as much as he could "ARE YOU CALLING ME A LIAR KAKAROT?" Now Vegeta was enraged. So Bulma stepped in "Now boys please, Goku you know we don't accept Y/N because she is nothing but a danger, and Vegeta said her mother was rather hot headed meaning she could explode at any minute" "But Vegeta's hot headed, why is Y/N any different?" Gohan asked. He has never truly accepted their reasons but he had always respected them being thats how he was raised. "BECAUSE Y/N'S MOTHER WAS EXTREMELY DANGEROUS" Bulma yelled in anger her veins showing and pulsing. "Damn Bulma cool your tits" Goku was surprised by her sudden outburst. "Kakarot just drop it" Vegeta warned. "No" for once Goku was taking his stand. Y/N is very dear to him and He wants to know why they should hate her. "GOKU" ChiChi was surprised by her husbands serious tone. "Kakarot" "Y/N is very dear to me, she's one of my best friends and both her and I deserve an explanation as to why she's hated" Goku was stern with his voice "So do they because they love her" He said pointing to Trunks and Goten. "Kakarot" Vegeta interrupted in a much softer tone. "ARE YOU CHEATING ON CHICHI?" Bulma threw out a rather large accusation "WHAT" "I KNEW IT GOKU, YOU'RE ALWAYS OFF WITH HER" Tears where running down her face it's like the women could cry on command. "TELL ME DO YOU FUCK HER? HUH YOUR BEST FRIENDS KID? DISGUSTING MAN, SHE'S LIKE A CHILD!!" Chichi was balling and hyperventilating. She was angry one second and now shes this. Goku was so confused "WHY WOULD YOU ASSUME THAT?" then it clicked,  Goku was suddenly very aware of what was going on. Bulma and ChiChi were hiding something and they created a scene to cover it up pinning him as the villain. "THAT'S NOT FAIR, ACCUSING ME OF SOMETHING LIKE THAT!" Goku tried to defend himself but as he looked at his friends for support, all eyes where on him with nothing but hate. "I think, I thinks you've done enough damage" 18 said coming to hold ChiChi.
"What, I-I didn't do" Goku was cut off by a swift punch from Krillin. "Goku, I thought you where better than that". The emotion that Goku felt was so unreal, How could they not even let him defend himself, and even worse think so little of Y/N. "Fine, I'll leave, But don't come calling for me to save you" Goku hovered above the ground doing one last look through the group. He saw a distraught Vegeta, as is he was regretting something. He didn't stick around to listen tho, a quiet goodbye and with that Goku left, flying back to the only comfort he was guaranteed to always have . Y/N. "DAD/GOKU WAIT" the young boys got ready to follow before they where intercepted by their mothers. ChiChi held Goten close crying about how she was betrayed and heart broken and how she needed comfort from her son, her child who she knew loved her. "M-Mom let go, HOW COULD YOU DO SOMETHING LIKE THAT" the sudden energy spike from Goten surprised her and she released. She was expecting him to listen like he always did but he retaliated.  " Y/N is very kind and Dad loves you, H-how could you" Goten had tears in his eyes now, "Come on Trunks let's go" Goten pulled Trunks out of Bulma's grasp. "Trunks you leave, you'll be in deep shit" Vegeta threatened. Trunks looked at his parents right in the eyes and said, "Makes sure it's so deep I'm at the same level as you" They then took off to the sky in pursuit of Goku.
As Goku landed in the forest, he was quick to start his search. "Y/N" He yelled. He walked aimlessly for a good minute till "You won't find her like that" a voice spoke from behind him "Boys!?" He was surprised to see both Trunks and Goten. "You boys should go home, They hate me, no need for them to hate you too" Goku had a look of utter defeat, like his whole world just came crashing down. Which is kinda did in a sense, Lost his Wife, Home, his friends and all because their was a damn secret that 'had' to be kept. "Dad, w-what happened back their wasn't your fault for once, t-that was just scary" Goten admitted beneath his breath. "Yeah Goku, that wasn't right" For the first time in forever Goku felt like crying. He was genuinely heartbroken. Sure he married ChiChi because she tricked him at first but he came to tolerate her enough to considerate love and he loves their two wonderful kids. Then his best friend that he grew up with, was the one that accused Him of being the cheater. She's known him the longest and to think she thought so little of him "Trunks, d-do you know where Y/N is, I really need her" Goku was so defeated that he was admittedly asking for help, he was on the verge of begging for it. "Y-yeah" Trunks began to lead them. It genuinely scared the boys to see Goku, the worlds savior like that, hollow almost life less. He was stripped of almost all his will to fight, he even left without eating. "She has a house she built, it's huge too" Trunks was almost bragging about it. Making an attempt to brighten the mood "But you need to have a secret code to find it" he walked right up to the mountain wall and began to feel around.
"Trunks?" "FOUND IT" Trunks interrupted Goten. "Dear the gods" he began. "My family is not always my blood," Trunks took a breath "bless the all father, This mask has seen life through death, this is a honor" as he finished the wall began to shake, splitting in the middle and forming into the shape of a door. "Come on, there's not long till it closes" Trunks rushed the other two in after him. "TRUNKS IS THAT YOU?" Y/N voice came from somewhere within the house. "YEAH AND GOTEN AND GOKU" He hollered informing his sis of the extra guests " Ah Goku, Goten, I just finished Dinner" Y/N had came from the stairway down the hall. She was dressed for bed in her Bowser P.J pants and a black tank-top. "Welcome, I could sense you guys, sorry I just got out the shower" She apologized while trying to dry her dripping hair. "Ah it's no problem Y/N, just glad you could have us" Goku smile was back but it wasn't as bright as it usually was. Y/N was quick to notice, and seeing his slight red eyes told her everything she needed to know. "Hey boys, why don't you go set up the guest room, I'm assuming your staying the night?" Y/N knew the answer but she just want confirmation. "Yep, is that okay?" Goten asked while Trunks was already up the stairs. Y/N bent down to Goten height, "Of course baby, go help Trunks tho, sleep over" she did little jazz hands to emphasize her excitement. "THANKS Y/N, I LOVE YOU" Goten was quick to hug her then sprint up the stair in tow of Trunks. Y/N smiled but it faded as she adjusted her view onto the man who had settled in on the couch. "Goku, you okay?" Y/N was caution, this was new territory for her. "Have you ever fucked up so bad that your life fell apart?" Goku voice was nothing more than a whimper. Goku cursing surprised her slightly. "You know I'm a fuck up" Y/N sat next to Goku, opening her arms for him. He was quick to fall into them. "Y/N, tell me, why are you hated?" "I-uh, I really shouldn't say m-my farther will be mad" Y/N had made a promise to keep their history private. Even though he hated her, she still respected him. "Y/N, I-I lost everything..." Goku took a shaky breath in.  Wide eyed Y/n ran her finger through his spiky hair. "Goku, what happened?" her whispered voice sent a calming chill down his spine. "ChiChi and Bulma accused me of cheating with you, and then everyone turned against me. my friends, my wife, my best friend, everyone" Goku finished with a hiccup. He adjusted so he was now laying on her lap "But, why, you do so much for them" She felt tears, did this really happen and why would they turn so fast? "They where mad I was with you, then they stared saying bad things about you, a-and I wanted to defend you but then I asked what happened in your past, that's when it all went down hill" small tears striped down her face. 'did he really risk everything for me?' she thought to herself. She felt horrid, she would hate to lose Goku but if it was his happiness or hers "Goku, I'm not worth your happy life, just apologize and then promise to never see me again, that should fix it" She wanted him to be happy, the people who love her where always suffering because of her. She didn't want that. "Goku you have a wonderful family, wife, friends, if they don't want anything to do with me then leave me, I'm not worth all your happiness" Y/N grew up being told she was worthless, she didn't want Goku to waste his life on her. "You know Y/N thats really selfish of you" He was now staring right at her, feeling her tears drip onto his cheeks fusing with his own, "My life is amazing because you're in it, You're my best friend Y/N, life without you this wouldn't be as fun" He smiled up at her, a real smile. "Oh Goku, you are my best friend too, and I" She was interrupted by the pitter patter of feet running down the stairs. "Y/N, WE FINISHED" Trunks yelled, in search of her, " Yeah can we eat now?" Goten asked finding them sitting on the couch.
"Oh, I'm guessing you told her?" Goten asked seeing both of them crying, he was scared but he did what he felt was right, however "D-Dad, where are we going to live?" Goten had come to that realization while setting up the bed, He didn't want to go back home and he knew they where searching for them. "Umm I'm not sure yet buddy but we'll figure it out" Goku only hoped to calm his poor son who was trapped in the middle of this whole mess. "What do you mean figure it out? The answer seem pretty clear to me" Y/N said removing Goku from her lap and standing to comfort the boy. "Here obviously, I have enough room as long as Trunks is okay with bunking?" She looked over at her brother for approval. "HELL YEAH, I GET AN ACTUAL SIBLING" Trunk would be more than happy to share, especially with Goten. "Goku, you can take my bed tonight since the other room isn't ready yet" Y/N picked both Trunks and Goten up and made her way to the kitchen "No no I'll take the couch, really" Goku was not usually one to give up a good sleep but at the moment he felt like he should. "Goku, my wonderful monkey alien, you have had a long night, please take the bed and rest up" She set the boys down and began to plate their dinner. "Y/N you are to good to us, also I thought you where fasting?" Goku only now realized that she had made a feast. "I uh  Iliedbecuaseiknewyouwouldinsiteonstayingwithme" She said really fast, Goku only being able to catch lie. "really, Y/N?" He had a fake pout. "Oh shush, eat up and then go shower and off to bed" She set the plates on the table and allowed the boy to got to work. "THANKS FOR THE FOOD" they said before digging in.
"Y/N, the waters getting cold" Goten complained from the tub he was sitting in. "That means baths over boys, time to get out" Y/N unplugged the drain and set two towel for the boy on the toilet sink. "okay, dry up, P.J's on then we'll hang and then bed. Deal?" She question while heading out the door. "DEAL" both yelled as the door shut behind her. "Okay boys bathed, me bathed, now to check in on Goku" she made her way towards her bedroom which was currently the temporary home for the hero. "GOKU" she knocked on the door, waiting for a response. "Yeah, come on in" once she got her reply she enterned, and found the man snuggled up in her bed, tucked in nice and cozy. "I see you're comfy" she laughed a little. "Very," he said with a smile " alright get some sleep, I'm gonna put the boys to bed, if you need me I'll be on the couch" She left him quietly and shut the door behind her.
Not to long after that the boys where tucked in their bunks and sound asleep. Y/N settled herself on the couch with a blanket and pillow, slowly drifting into sleep. Being tired from the training and emotional stress. That is until heavy foot steps echoed. Y/N could only guess who's steps those could be, not even asking question she called out to him. "Goku, everything okay?" She look towards the hall to see the man rubbing his eyes, standing only in sweatpants. The site made Y/N blush slightly but she quickly got rid of it after looking at his face. "Hey um, c-can you sleep next to me?" He sounded almost scared. "I-it's weird not feeling energy next to me a-and yeah" He sounded so shy but Y/n didn't hesitate, in all honestly she had always loved Goku but she didn't want to fuck up his wonderful relationship, so she kept all emotions at bay. "you sure?" she was willing of course, however not wanting to take advantage of him in anyway. "Yeah, that would help" He grabbed her hand and began to walk with her back up to the bedroom. As they passed the many room, a soft but shaken voice rang through the silence, "Y-Y/N?" Both looked back to see Goten holding the hand of Trunks who was half asleep peeking out from behind a door. " I uh I kinda had a nightmare, c-can we sleep with you guys?" He whispered cautious of the half asleep boy beside him.  "Oh Goten come on not bud, you're to old for this" Goku knew ChiChi would always comfort Goten, allowing him to sleep with them. But he did not want to cause anymore trouble than he already was. "Oh Hush Goku, Of course Goten my bed is big enough for the 4 of us" Y/N was quick to pick both boys up and carry them to the bedroom with Goku in close tow. As they all cuddled down together, for the first time all day, Goten and Goku felt comfort and safety. "Good night boys sweet dreams" Y/N gave each a kiss on their head. "Good night Y/N, we love you" Goten said slowly drifting to sleep.  "Y/N, thank you for everything" Goku said bringing her closer "Of course Goku" "I love you Y/N" He said also drifting. "I-good night Goku" Y/N knew she couldn't say it back because she would not mean it in the same way he did.
After that night the boys moved in with Y/N. ChiChi and Goku got divorce a few months later after trying to work things out. With Y/N'S help Goku won custody over Goten, which he was thankful for but it was messy.  They agreeded that Goten was free to visit when ever he wanted, which was very little. Bulma was still mad at Trunks so Vegeta allowed him to stay with Y/N already annoyed with Bulmas increase in bitchy attitude. Some things went back to normal, Goku and Vegeta began to train together again, making sure to avoid Bulma. But other than that everything changed. Everyone basically Blacklisted Goku, Goten, and Trunks. ChiChi and Bulma continue to spread lies about Y/N and Goku's affairs. However The 4 accused where living rather peacefully, Y/N was going to college, taking some advice from Gohan and started studying Law, she also took on a part time job to help with food and everything. Goten and Trunks mostly stayed home and were doing online school. Even Goku got a part time job, he worked at a meat factory, perfect for him with all the heavy lifting and 'punching bag' as he had called the hanging meat. He was happy that he got to pick the job he wanted. However, all the peacefulness went out the door when an invitation was deliver to Goku by Gohan to a certain women's birthday part. (TO BE CONTIUNED)
DAMN THIS TOOK FOREVER BUT WORTH IT I THINK, HOPE YOU LIKE IT, :) HAVE A GREAT DAY AND REMEMBER TO EAT,DRINK, AND LOVE YOURSELF BYEEEEEE

You do so right by z Broly, you understand his potential. Your au with him and Trunks is a delight
Glad we all appreciate my blatant misrepresentation of the character 😌 im partly joking but man fr, 12 year old me would hate that instead of him bein a badass edgy monster, I draw him as.. *checks notes* .. an immature loser with bad coping mechanisms uwu
Ok but in true ask tradition! :U im hijacking this ask to talk about a dumb theory thats been rolling around in my head for like 2 years now: android 16 and broly similarities:
Ok so. If you aren't aware. The android arc of dragon ball was originally going to focus on the androids 19 & 20 and trunks even names them specifically
Tumblr media
But Toriyamas former editor, Kazuhiko Torishima, didn't like them as the main antagonists and so Toriyama changed it to focus on 17 & 18 as the bad guys and introduced 16 as a sort of mystery
Tumblr media
Now. This gets almost completely dropped once that same former editor ALSO doesn't like these androids and cell becomes the main villian for the arc (yeah yeah, the bomb thing is technically *there*, but its so inconsequential most people forget its even a thing :T )
So. Idk exactly when movie 8 went into production, but we know Brolys LSSJ form was inspired by trunks SSJ grade3 form that appears several chapters after cell has been introduced and the androids have become power-up fodder, so im gonna argue its safe to say the decision to move away from their story had been made
(side tangent that I find absolutely hilarious btw- despite gokus commentary in the HTC, SSJ grade 3 was the strongest form of ssj we saw at this point, so its pretty appropriate to use it as the basis of the strongest scariest ssj form.... rrriiiiiiiiggght up until toriyama introduced SSJ2 on Feb 2, 1993- near exactly 1 month before the first Broly movie hit theaters. Completely undermined what, up til then, looked like a trend in stronger form = bigger and beefier right as the big beefy strongest guy ever movie came out 🤣 absolutely love it!)
So anyways. The movies overall also tend to have varying degrees of similarities with recent arcs in the show and Toriyama, while not overly involved, would give the studio designs and story notes. And. Idk. Yall can tell me im reaching if ya want, but: A guy who's made into a weapon by his father who's on a quest for revenge and has this conflicting view of his son as both someone he feels he failed to protect, someone he cares about, but also as a tool for that revenge, and someone who's destructive power hes become deeply afraid of.. now where have we seen somethin like that 🤔 may be an extra reach but I also think its neat that despite their different face shape, Toriyamas gave em the same expression
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Lol they're also both just ridiculously tall bastards. Like for no gd reason. And yeah, to me atleast, it explains why hating goku specifically gets shoehorned into brolys backstory (listen I can absolutely do the mental gymnastics to make it make sense! I'm fine with it! Its fine! I actually like it! ... but it IS a dumb shoehorned plot point! Both things can be true D:< ) look just lookit these tall ass shits
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Anyway. My last note is just this statement from Toriyama about 16 and Gero. The way gero is presented is really in line with how I see Paragus as this tragic failure of a father- honestly caring about his kid, but letting grief and revenge drive him into conflicting corners where he wants revenge FOR the life denied his son, but also actively shaping his son into such a terrifying weapon that ultimately hed rather his kid just never be conscious cause thats the 'only way to keep them safe'
Tumblr media
“Dr. Gero’s son who died young a long time ago served as the visual model for Android 16. He was a high-ranking soldier for the Red Ribbon Army but was shot down by the enemy. Dr. Gero reserved special feelings for 16 as “his son,” and although he equipped 16 with immense power and a frightening destructive device, he didn’t want to see him be defeated on the battlefield and thus programmed him to have a gentle personality. 16 was consequently considered a failed creation.” The smaller caption below Toriyama’s quote reads: “Was the reason Dr. Gero didn’t want to activate 16 perhaps because of his parental love to not see him destroyed?”

Something that bugs me a little is the insistence that Gohan actively hates to fight period. Bc that's not true!
(This ignores everything that happened outside the original manga/the DBZ anime)
Yes, he lacks Goku's or Vegeta's laser-focus on all things martial arts, but let's be real, all half Saiyans do. Goten & Trunks sure have more passion for fighting than Gohan does but they're much more "human" about it than their dads and have other interests in their lives too.
But while Gohan originally became a fighter out of necessity and had little choice in the matter there are instances when he clearly shows that he is totally capable of enjoying himself in a fight.
For once there's obviously his fight against Cell - once he snapped his "Saiyan side" took the lead and he was enjoying himself a little too much (and ruined it, like a good Saiyan must).
But it also becomes clear in the early Buu arc. Yeah, initially he's not rly interested in the tournament and wouldn't have participated if not for Videl forcing him.
But once he was in he was in. He even got a little annoyed by Videl interrupting his training, and he did want to win. If he really hated it so much he could have entered with the plan of failing the preliminaries, or losing in the first round. But the thought never crossed his mind. I think if you'd suggested he botches it deliberately to get out of it he'd been horrified.
He was going to have fun with it! I think his most "Saiyan" trait is that he's a bit of a showman lol. He likes to be flashy! And he likes to boast! He COULD have just used a plain costume and mask to hide hid identity but nope, Great Saiyaman it is! He likes being seen and being known as a crazy strong superhero. Maybe he'd have been into pro-wrestling with their fancy costumes and showmanship
Even before things went off the rails at the tournament and Buu arc was set in motion he was ready to go. And yes his crush on Videl might have served as motivation: "haha cool she won't be disappointed if someone beats her dad! (I can date her if I beat her dad)" -> he WOULD have thrown Satan out of the ring if he'd gotten to fight him, no questions asked.
And once he, Goku & Vegeta are in Babidi's spaceship it gets even clearer: now, no one is forcing him to fight. Ofc Gohan always wanted to fight when it was necessary, even at 5yo he wouldn't stay home, he made it very clear that he was going to Namek.
But while they were going through the levels in Babidi's ship this still wasn't a serious thing. Pui Pui and Yakon were a joke for them. Vegeta was getting pissed, ok, but aside from that it was just fun and games for them, and Gohan could easily have said "nah have at it you two, I'm sitting this one out" but never once did he so much as consider NOT taking part in rock-paper-scissoring it out to decide who gets to go first.
He was eager to fight Dabra! Dabra told them to take him on 3:1 and Gohan flat out told him "no way, this is MY fight!". And if Vegeta had interfered with that fight to end it quicker I'm 100% sure Gohan would have decked him in the face and told him to fuck off. (Maybe that would have cooled Geets' mood a little lol.)
The problem isn't that Gohan hates fighting from the bottom of his heart. He doesn't. The problem is he grew up with a dad who was 100% a fighter and a mum who was 100% into education, and he didn't find a balance. He didn't even know that might be an option! He thought he'd HAVE to choose one thing, and one alone, and so he chose education.
Who could have taught him otherwise? Maaaaybe Piccolo (post-reunification with Kami), but tbh I think he didn't want to give Gohan the feeling he had to fight. I think Piccolo feels a little bad for putting 4-5yo Gohan through the wringer so much.
Like idk. Let my boy be both. Let him have Goku's legacy as well as make his own!
(I've read about Dragon Ball Online a little and tbh Gohan writing a book on ki and making it widely known? Perfect. I love it. Best idea ever. Probably the best thing that happened to DB since the original manga and Z anime ended. I am accepting this as canon 100%.)

Hello! How are you?
If requests are still open then would it be ok for me to ask how the brothers would react to reader already having a partner they’re serious about from before they met? Of course if that’s too many characters for you then you can just choose whoever you like though!
Thank you in any case and I hope you have a lovely day!
Hello fren! I’m kinda tired, the work week has been loooong. Send me ur energy like goku with the spirit bomb
Let’s go let’s go I’m gonna assume this is another human you loved before
(Gn!reader x AMAB!yandere)(Gn!SO)(noncon)(violence against reader)(gaslighting)(18+ readers only please, mdni)[This is fetish content and rape and abuse are disgusting and inexcusable in real life.]
Yandere!Lucifer:
Tumblr media
(God I wanted to fight him so bad after he said this.)
If you ended up spending more time with your SO than him, disobeying him on account of your SO, or talking about your SO too much, you’ll end up wounding his pride (uh oh). At first he would give you warnings, maybe a few punishments, and then outright tell you that he is going to murder your SO if you continue to shirk on your duties as a spouse, you would know that he’s completely serious when he says that. He’ll also start to make you wear engagement rings and send you back to the human world in clothing that he has picked out for you, just to make sure that your SO understands their place in your life as a side ho. As long as he still feels like he has the most of your attention and the most control over you, he’d allow you to “frolic around with that human”.
Yandere!Mammon would be a nervous wreck. He would be so clingy and so forcefully affectionate, always pulling you into his lap or grabbing your face to kiss you. How could you even care about that dumb, weak human when you don’t even have a pact with them? Mammon was your first, after all! He’d constantly tell you to say that you love him and how special he is to you. Whenever you were planning to go back to the human world, he would sabotage your trip in any way possible, even if that meant partially debilitating you so you couldn’t teleport with magic. Yandere!Mammon is one of the most likely to get so jealous that he kills your SO, though he would try to play it off like he knew nothing about it (and fail). He’s also going to talk all kinds of smack about your SO and how much of a loser they are.
Yandere!Levi is probably the worst one to deal with in a case like this because he would turn the gloominess up all the way. He won’t stop comparing himself to your SO, talking about how obviously you would never love someone like him, how he should just go die because he’s so worthless. You might notice him making half hearted attempts to copy your SO (like wearing his hair the same way as them), and you will definitely notice that he is seriously stalking your SO on social media. Like multiple accounts monitoring them across multiple platforms – bro bro has memorized your SOs resume from LinkedIn and everything. He may try to manipulate you into making out or sex or letting him grope your chest and thighs by saying that he will die if he can’t have some more of you, and if you say no he will do it anyway, mumbling the whole time about how horrible he is, how he’s a total creep, how this is obviously why you hate him. Paradoxically, though, Levi will probably get angry at you if you say you love him, because he thinks you’re lying. If you really love him, you’ll come to his room and take your clothes off and straddle his lap while he’s in his gamer chair, and you’ll pet his head and cover his face in kisses while he plays a video game online.
Yandere!Satan would pretend that he didn’t mind, but he would be an asshole about your SO and towards you all the time. He would be really frustrated that you have chosen this other human. He’ll criticize you and your SO and your relationship relentlessly, pointing out every little flaw and clearly growing gleeful when his words are bothering you. If you pushed back on what he was saying, he would get angry, of course, but his punishments would be really bizarre and unfitting. If you keep arguing him down, for example, he'll drag you to his room, chain and gag you, and make you listen to him talk about something that takes him thirty minutes to connect back to his original point about your SO. He feels too emotionally vulnerable about you having someone else to be honest about his feelings, so (much like his relationship with Lucifer) he would try to annoy and humiliate you just to have your attention for a moment, but this is not sustainable for him. Eventually he’d be overwhelmed by his emotions and desires for you and force you to stay away from your SO, even if he needs to hurt you really badly to do so. After that it won’t be much time until he admits his feelings for you, probably as an explanation after nonconning you a few times.
Yandere!Asmo will find your SO, charm them, and then fuck them. He’ll send you videos of it, the sound of your SO moaning his name, blowing him, cumming for him. He’d fuck your SO in your room, too, especially when he was expecting you to come back and walk in on it. Believing his own bullshit, he’d tell you that he did it because he’s open to polyamory or something like that*, but then he’d name any negative emotion that you have about the situation as jealousy. You’re jealous of him that he’s so beautiful, that your SO loves him more than you now, that neither he nor your SO ever needed you, really. You’re jealous, and it’s really sad how insecure you are, he’d tell you while cradling you in his arms and rocking you back and forth. Don’t worry – he loves you anyway, even if your SO doesn’t anymore. So just stay with him, the only person who can accept what a nasty person you can be, and don’t ever again think about running off with someone who will never love you like he does.
Yandere!Beel will ask you a lot of questions about your SO, and then announce that he does not like or trust them. He’ll insist on accompanying you any time you go back to visit them, and be extremely over protective. Maybe it would seem kind of sweet at first, but it would quickly become alarming. He tells your SO not to touch you, not to feed you, not to even *breathe* in your direction. He’ll tell you often that he doesn’t trust your SO, and wants to stay by your side to keep you safe. You’ll find yourself wrapped in really tight hugs before bed, your outfits being checked carefully before you go out in the rain or cold, and Beel calling you several times throughout the day to hear your voice and be updated on what you’re doing. He’ll say he’s just really worried about you and is restless when he can’t see you, but probably won’t confess his growing obsession with you for now.
Theres like a 50/50 chance Yandere!Belphie will just murder your SO straight out the gate LOLOL Assuming he doesn’t, Belphie is a bit of a brat, so every. single. time. you go to see your SO, it’s going to be a struggle with him. First he’ll sleep on top of you, then get aggressive when you try to get up, then bite you, hard, then pin you down and tell you its not long before he really loses it, before he can’t take your callous selfishness any more. If you continue to insist, Belphie will use some sloth bby magic to put you to sleep and fill your dreams with gruesome nightmares of him kissing and groping you while he’s covered in your SO’s blood and flesh. If you continue to insist even upon waking, he will make that a reality for you. Your best chance is to go when he’s sleeping, though you’ll know that only means something awful awaits you when you return home.
*in case it was not clear this is a front on Asmo's part and I don’t think that poly people are really like this
What do you think anon? Are you going to break things off with your SO or try your luck?
Pls send in more requests and questions! 🙇🏾‍♀️

Are there any decent dragon ball YouTubers? I gave Totally Not Mark a shot (I got clickbaited into his Bardock is ruining Dragon Ball video) and his take was: TV Special good, Minus version makes Goku Superman, Super manga further ruins the story because of the wish Bardock makes.
I know I’m biased as a Bardock fan but I actually liked Super Hero/Minus Bardock just as much as TV special. Will never defend the Super manga though, I don’t even think Toriyama outlined the Granolah stuff did he?
He outlined some of it. The idea was Toyotaro's (and Victory Uchida's too, apparenty, which would explain why he's always trying to hype that arc) and he sent it to Toriyama, who apparently came up with a lot of the lore and a basic outline for him based on those ideas. From there, Toyotaro wrote the dialogue, the details, etc. So what exactly is Toyotaro's or not, we don't really know. But the arc itself was not Toriyama's idea. As for DB Tubers, unfortunately, I tend to not really watch their content. More than once I've been accused of "ripping off" some of my own thoughts on things from them, or being influenced by them, so I've kind of made it a point to ignore them to avoid that in the future. I'm sorry I can't really be of more help there. But for the record, I absolutely HATE the whole "Goku is Superman" thing, mostly because of how people misuse that. While there are some basic similarities in that both have the whole "Baby Moses" motif, for some reason people don't refer to the updated comic origin for Superman with this, but the 1978 film where he's deliberately sent not just to survive, but to be a hero. This is not the case with Goku. He's legit dropped on Earth to hide and potentially be picked up later. It's a completely random event, not one of "destiny" or anything like that. In fact, the Bardock Special has more of that to it than Minus does, given Bardock legit sees the future and sees Goku on Earth, fighting Vegeta, facing Freeza, etc. Such a weird, bizarre claim to me, and betrays a lack of media literacy in regard to the material.
Anyways, sorry, got a bit meandering there at the end, but I maybe folks who follow the blog can point you toward a few good ones?

DB Analysis: Thoughts on the "Sympathetic" Zamasu
I'm going to be honest: I'm not quite sure how to start this analysis. I'm doing it solely to get my thoughts down on the character somewhere, because something always comes up in discussions about Zamasu that has always bothered me since I first learned about him, getting back into Dragon Ball about two years ago: A lot of people have a habit of labeling Zamasu as not only being a sympathetic villain, but go so far as to say he was never truly evil in the first place.
Personally, however, I have never once seen Zamasu as being traditionally sympathetic. If anything, when it comes to this character, I feel nothing but absolute disgust--even when compared to the uncontested evil of characters like Frieza. At least watching Frieza is entertaining, because we know the good-hearted Goku will always win in the end. When people both in and out of the story make excuses for Zamasu's behavior, however... It's sick, and I'm going to do a full breakdown why.
Let's start this analysis by recapping on Zamasu's feelings toward mortals and all of the crimes he's committed. Zamasu views mortals as impure beings forever marred by sin, completely irredeemable, and that it is more of a mercy to kill them rather than to allow them to continue on in that sin. He stole Goku's body; murdered his own teacher, Gowasu; and committed mass genocide, declaring himself supreme over all as "the wisdom, the law, and the power of the universe" and "the sun that lights this world" to quote Fighterz. His actions are egregious, and they aren't really any different than any of the other villains we see in Dragon Ball. Why do people excuse them?
"He meant well." "His teacher didn't do enough." "He's sympathetic."
Unlike other sympathetic villains, it's not like any evil was done to him personally. He doesn't have some typical, tragic backstory. So, why is he considered sympathetic? Well, it comes from a single thought we've all shared at some point: The world is a terrible place.
Zamasu is someone who only focuses on the negative in the world and in people (specifically mortals). Yes, we can point to Gowasu's failed attempt at showing their good side; however, it's clear that Zamasu doesn't want to really see any differently than what he already believes either. When he met Goku, arguably one of the purist mortals in the entire multiverse, he was too offended by the so-called lack of respect Goku showed to even register that he was, while careless, ultimately a good person.
Moreover, what makes Zamasu any better than the mortals he bashes? Yes, he is a god, but what are the distinguishing factors between a god and a mortal in the Dragon Ball universe? They're not omnipotent, as we've seen countless times throughout the series. They're not all-powerful, as the likes of Goku, Vegeta, and Jiren have shown overpowering different deities. (Even before acquiring god-ki, Goku was stronger than Shin.) Many of them used to be mortals, as we see shown through the hakaishin's passing-of-the-torch. We can even argue that they're still technically mortals, because many of them have been killed or erased and Zamasu literally had to wish for immortality.
Making a real-world comparison, this isn't an Abrahamic godhood: A case of a pure, all-knowing being who can see into the hearts of every person and leads the world with patience and unlimited wisdom. Instead, Dragon Ball shows us gods who have limited knowledge, constantly make mistakes, are insanely impulsive, and tend not to ever bother questioning themselves. And out of all of them, Zamasu is basically a rookie, a supreme kai in-training. Why do we still give him a pass?
Again, because he believes what we believe: People suck. It's such a broad, undirected hatred that we rarely stop of think of what we actually mean by that. Do we hate the evil actions that humanity commits, or do we hate humanity itself? If you hate evil, you look to uproot it, including when it appears in yourself. If you hate humanity, then you never see the good in others and never self-reflect.
All that being said, let's give Zamasu a comparison to another villain: Frollo from Disney's Hunchback of Notre Dame. Frollo "saw corruption everywhere except within," viewing himself as a man of the Church and a righteous judge. He was always coming up with excuses for his own sins, even going so far as to blame the very God he claimed to serve. Zamasu acts much the same way, except he doesn't even entertain the idea of a figure of morality being over him: The only god Zamasu "worships" is himself. He's an absolute megalomaniac, a fact we see visualized through his interactions with his partner in-crime, Goku Black, who is literally just himself in another timeline.
Gowasu serves as the prime example to this mindset. Despite being another kai, the person that mentored him, someone who always strove to see the good in others... Zamasu murdered him without a second thought. Why? Because he dared to disagree with him. This is-turn would've also killed Rumshhi, the GoD of their universe. Even Zeno is not an exception even though he fears him, as shown in his team-up with Hearts in Super Heroes. Despite Zamasu's view of "gods good, mortals bad," he will slaughter anyone that doesn't march in lock-step with his ideals.
Not only does he kill other gods and commit all of the same sins he accuses mortals of--even going so far as to revel in the deaths of others--but he had to rely on Goku's mortal body for his Zero Mortal Plan to work in the first place. Shown in the Xenoverse games, if the player joins Zamazu, he's shown to have no issue accepting their help either even though he promises he'll still kill them later. Zamasu is a hypocrite, another trait he shares with Frollo.
Still for some reason, we never call Frollo sympathetic. Well, not all of us have burned down a city, tried to purge an entire race, and lusted after someone not even half our age.
But we all desire justice. We all want to make the world a better place, don't we?
We feel sympathy for Zamasu because he represents the evil we stare in the face every single day. He represents the demon whispering in our ears that any atrocity we can commit is excusable so long as we have a "good reason." Because we're better people. We're smarter people. We're good people... right?
The road to Hell is paved with good intentions. Mind where you walk.

Welp, I guess I'm doing this.
Tumblr media
Hi, my names justagamerandaweeb, or TheWritingWeeb, or King, or whatever the fuck you wanna call me, it doesn't matter, and welcome to my blog. It's clearly nothing special, as you can see, but it's whatever honestly.
My birthday is January 21st, I'm 18, and I'm just a guy trying to get through this Tumblr bullshit.
Tumblr media
About me:
All you need to know about me is that I'm antisocial, both IRL, and on the internet. I don't really talk to people that I know IRL as I don't think they're interested in me. That, and I'm to scared to talk to anyone, period.
And as for online, I think it's a waste of time (If you make random arguments that you are entitled to on the internet against people you've have never seen before in real life, you are a fucking loser that has nothing better to do with your life).
I consider myself as talentless. Outside of this writing shit (4 years into the game), I have no talents at all. I mean, I have a guitar, I can only play a few notes, but outside of that, I don't amount to anything in the real world, hence why I'm here (and you could say the same right? Unless you got a job or a career that means something).
I mostly write for entertainment, not to make friends, but lets see if you guys can change that (if you even take the time to acknowledge me).
Tumblr media
What I like:
Friends, food, video games, music, YouTube, writing, having fun when I have the opportunity, and I think that's about it.
What I don't like:
People who treat their loved ones like shit, jealousy, hate, fear, the pain of loss, losing someone or something you love, people who push their friends and family under the bus to reach some sort of status, and that's about it as well.
Tumblr media
Rules:
Do not insult me, do not come after me for whatever reason I did, do not come after my friend(s), and do not request me to do grotesque things if I don't feel comfortable writing about it.
Tumblr media
What I can do:
If and when I have the gumption to open my requests, here are the things I can write:
Vanilla, BDSM, Threesome (MMF, FFM, MMM, FFF), AU's, pegging, maybe HC's, SFW content, maybe a little bit of dead dove: do not eat (only gore though), and maybe some other stuff I can't name.
What I won't do:
The content that I will not contain the following: Lolicon, Shotacon, futanari, scat, watersports/Golden Shower, rape, necrophilia, zoophilia, anal and vaginal stuffing (putting random objects in the female genitalia and anus), bug play, urethral insertion, earfucking, and anything that I am dissatisfied writing.

Super is a horribly made cash grab. Something like the Dragon BallZ multiverse would've been a lot more interesting to watch.
Especially the early chapters were we see universes with diffrent "what-if's" like Friza taking over, Planet Vegeta still around, Cell or Buu winning, Goku being raised as sayin, introducing the games etc.
I especially hate how super ignores Vegeta's already established character development and makes him regress. Either they just didn't know how to write a Vegeta like that or simply didn't care.
And god Gohan got the worst treatment ever. I understand the man doesn't fight, it's not what he does and that's a great point to his character but not keeping up with his training especially after cell and buu? Is out of character. The man is smart and knows that a bigger threat can come in at any moment.
Just wanted to leave that, drink some water
Tumblr media
Perfectly valid opinion! Nevertheless, I disagree with you, and you’ve given me an excuse to ramble on at length about Dragon Ball, so ramble on I shall.
Super is a horribly made cash grab.
I think you’re thinking of the Z movies (which, for the record, I like). A cash grab’s supposed to be something you make quickly just because you know it’ll sell, and while I’m no economist, I do know you have to follow appreciably current trends when you’re trying to make one. While you may be right, it’s hard for me to feel that something is a cash grab when there was a ten year dry spell between GT ending and anything important that was DB-related coming out—and it wasn’t even Super, it was a little festival special that a bunch of people don’t know about because it never came overseas. Battle of Gods didn’t drop until five years after that, after the first half of DBZ Kai had already wrapped up, and Super didn’t start properly until the second half of Kai finished two years later. You don’t spend seven years feeling out if people are still receptive to something after a ten-year hiatus if you’re trying to make money quickly, is all I’m saying.
Something like the Dragon BallZ multiverse would've been a lot more interesting to watch.
I’ve never read Multiverse so I leafed through the first 400-ish pages to see if I agreed with you, and I don’t. A common complaint about the Tournament of Power is that it’s the most dragged out 48 minutes in existence, and from the looks of it, Multiverse is like if Super was nothing but the Tournament of Power. To me, one of the best things about Dragon Ball is that it doesn’t have to be all high-stakes head-to-head all the time. You get things like the Orange Star High arc, or the filler episode where Piccolo and Goku have to get their driver’s licenses, or the one where Goku doesn’t quite have control over his ki for a day or so because he essentially shorted out the wiring fighting Hit (which is a cool fucking concept that I wish they had done more with). It’s just fun. It opens the door for questions that are more entertaining—and more importantly, more varied—than arguing until you’re blue in the face about who would win in a fight between X and Y.
Especially the early chapters were we see universes with diffrent "what-if's" like Friza taking over, Planet Vegeta still around, Cell or Buu winning, Goku being raised as sayin, introducing the games etc.
Sure, I’ll give you that, Multiverse does knock that concept around a little. The problem is it doesn’t do much of anything with it. The setting is a character too, in its own way—arguably the most important one, since it’s the one that every other character has no choice but to interact with. You’re right, all of those what-ifs would be interesting—if they were set in the what-ifs.
Here, I’ll share one of my favorite what-ifs as an example to try and explain. What if, instead of being able to retreat back to his lab, Dr. Gero was destroyed along with 19 by Vegeta’s attack? There would be no reason to go check his lab out if the android threat is eliminated, so 17 and 18 would still be asleep. Cell would grow unhindered for 17 years, and when he hatches, he could simply go up the ladder and attain perfection without a fight. Goku wouldn’t have died at the end of the Cell Games. There would be no training in the Hyperbolic Time Chamber for anyone. Does Vegeta become an issue again, since his character arc stalls at the part where he’s reveling in his own power? If so, how does that resolve? How would the struggle against Cell play out if they had no warning at all that he even existed? What role would Gohan play in it—or Goten or Trunks, since they’d be old enough to be a factor? These questions and any number of others you could pose don’t even account for the fact that it entirely upsets the timeline—Buu arc would occur before Cell, if it occurs at all. Assuming it does, would they stand a chance in hell against Buu without the power they gained in Cell arc and the seven year gap? Could Cell somehow end up coming into conflict with Buu? In short—how does this change things?
Multiverse answers this with ‘who cares, where does it put you in the power-scaling?’ and that’s not compelling to me in the slightest.
I especially hate how super ignores Vegeta's already established character development and makes him regress. Either they just didn't know how to write a Vegeta like that or simply didn't care.
Define regress. If you’re referring to Vegeta retaining his determination to get stronger than Goku after the ‘you are number one’ speech, that’s. Pretty integral to his character, frankly. Just because he’s learned and accepted it’s not the end of the world if he isn’t stronger doesn’t mean he has to drop the competition entirely. I read it less as a set-in-stone declaration of Goku’s superiority, more like a concession of his own defeat. ‘You’re number one forever because you’re better than me’ vs ‘You win for now, but when the next fight rolls around, I’ll outdo you’, you feel what I’m getting at? He does show up to fight Goku in the tournament during the very end of Z, after all. My point is that it shows Vegeta’s worldview and perception of himself is more malleable now—and so, confines him far less.
As it turns out, that concept of ‘freedom’ is the direction Super chooses to develop him in, and I feel that it pairs very well with what he goes through in Z (spoilers incoming). In Z, Vegeta is restricted by The Way Things Are Supposed To Go. In Super, especially later on during Moro and Granolah, this has a natural continuation in how his past actions in the name of TWTASTG weigh on him in ways that hamper his growth. This has been one of his biggest stumbling blocks for forever—he thinks so goddamn much, he can’t get out of his own head.
His defense of the Namekians and Earth against Moro is motivated in part by Vegeta feeling obligated to right the balance, so to speak—and he says as much, even going so far as to ask Moori if he bears a grudge against him for his actions. He still considers himself a villain bound for hell. In effect, this idea that he has to atone for his sins via being the one to save the day (which essentially amounts to being stronger than Goku on some given day) has snuck in and made itself into the new Way Things Are Supposed To Go without him realizing it.
Beerus realizes, though. I couldn’t think of a way to eloquently get across what Beerus does for him short of copying down the dialogue wholesale, so fuck it, that’s what I’m gonna do, since not everyone has access to the official translation. (From ch 69)
BEERUS: How many planets have you Saiyans destroyed? VEGETA: ? Hard to say. Fighting was the only way of life for my people, so we had a way of racking up sin after sin. B: Sin, huh? V: However, it wasn’t until Freeza’s clan came along and began using us that the destruction and invasions became business as usual. B: You trying to lay all the blame for your wicked ways on Freeza and his people? V: Not in the least. In his pursuit for power, my father built his own kingdom atop countless deaths. Freeza’s clan taking control didn’t help, but the seeds of the Saiyans’ destruction were sown before that. B: So it was the Saiyans’ destiny to be wiped out, then? V: I’d say so. B: Hmph… Ridiculous. V: But never mind that. My people’s problems aren’t your concern. B: I’m saying it’s ridiculous! V: ! W-what? What do you mean? Weren’t you going to show me a technique used by Gods of Destruction?! What could that possibly have to do with the history of the Saiyans? B: Plenty. […] As long as doubt weighs down your soul, this power’ll never be yours to wield. V: D-doubt, you say? B: Your own crimes aside, you’re feeling guilty for the sins of all Saiyans. That’s awfully self-centered of you, mortal. Here’s a fun fact. The one who suggested that Freeza eliminate the Saiyans… was me. V: W… what? B: You still think it was destiny? You’re just gonna accept that? […] Everything those Saiyans did in the past… what’s it got to do with you now? As long as you’re trapped by the past, you’ll never manage to grow past this point. My mind’s always on destruction and nothing else. That’s why there’s no limit to my power. Listen. If you really want this power, you’re gonna have to destroy any stray thoughts and recreate yourself from scratch. Before creation comes destruction. Get it?
Yeah. He takes this and he intentionally divorces his efforts to get stronger from his tendency to dog Goku’s heels in leveling up. Ultra Instinct isn’t a power suited to him, so he gives it up instead of torturing himself over it and works on what eventually becomes Ultra Ego instead. Here’s the thing though. The biggest indicator of Vegeta’s growth to me is that he can’t tap fully into that power because he’s no longer callous and unfeeling, and he knows it. He identifies too much with Granolah to simply destroy him. And he tries to lead Granolah off the path that ruined him for so much of his life. That doesn’t sound anything like regression to me.
The way things stand with Goku and Vegeta right now, the next step seems to be adapting their Ultra forms to them personally, so I’m curious to see how Vegeta will bend that power to the person he is now.
And god Gohan got the worst treatment ever. I understand the man doesn't fight, it's not what he does and that's a great point to his character but not keeping up with his training especially after cell and buu? Is out of character. The man is smart and knows that a bigger threat can come in at any moment.
You could be right, but no amount of kvetching is going to change what the writer wrote, so you may as well stretch your critical thinking legs and ask yourself why the writer thinks this is in character. Speaking from the perspective of a person who makes a hobby of examining these pieces and spackling them together into something cohesive (fanfiction. I write fanfiction, in case that was somehow unclear), this is the more fun option for me. I’m not saying it’s really That Deep (‘don’t put more thought into something than the creators did’, yak yak yadda yadda) or that my personal interpretation is correct and canon or anything, I just know that writers rarely write something a certain way without a reason.
Because you’re right, Gohan is a smart person. I don’t think he did stop training after Buu in the way you’re thinking of, for two reasons. First, he mentions at the end of Super Hero that he’s been practicing the Makankosappo in secret, and the Makankosappo took Piccolo presumably several years nonstop (between OGDB and Z) to make from scratch. Gohan may have prior knowledge to base his experimentation off of, but he has a lot less free time too, between his family and his father’s tendency to one-track-mind the things he’s passionate about—Videl says he’s been in his room working on his ant project for several days. So how long has Gohan been practicing it?
That’s rather theoretical though so, second, Gohan was ready for the Tournament of Power with 48 hours of training, which I don’t think would be possible if he wasn’t at least keeping himself physically in shape. Indeed, when Piccolo is training him (DBS episode 88), his problem is not with Gohan’s practical technique—it’s with his attitude. Freeza notices this and mentions it earlier in Resurrection F as well, that Gohan is going out of his way to leave the people he beats alive. Piccolo describes it as a failure to ‘close the deal’, in the sense that Gohan needs to be able to win in a way that leaves no room for a rematch or a sneak attack at the last second. This doesn’t necessarily mean killing, mind, especially since the Tournament of Power has a no-kill rule. What Gohan has let go to rust is his willingness to be ruthless enough to remove an obstacle that has to be removed. That, I think, is the true meaning of the ‘training’ that everyone in universe harps on him for. Gohan’s always been softhearted, after all.
I will concede that it is very stupid that he apparently doesn’t recognize Piccolo’s ki when by all rights he’s probably the person most familiar with it. I consider that ‘out of character’, in that I have no clever explanation for it, but given that it isn’t load-bearing so the story functions, I mainly shrug and ignore it. That’s the healthy thing to do.
completely forgot to say... I *hate* how bulma is now. Nothing to the bulma we saw in Z, even at her most vexing she was never like the one we see right now. Genuinely massacred her
Personally I would be angrier about Videl in your position, because boy does she just not exist in Super. More to the point, I don’t know exactly what you mean by this. Unless I’ve misremembered/misread something, Bulma is still doing what she’s done from day one. She’s still smart. She’s still willing to try using her charm to get what she wants. She still builds things that are plot-crucial (Goku Black arc couldn’t have happened without her replicating her own time machine! Which she couldn’t have done had Future Bulma not counted on her and left her own notes!) She still wants to get a look at every would-be destroyer of Earth du jour, even though it’s really not a good idea. If you’re referring to her occasional shallowness/bitchiness/pettiness, that never went away, you know. That’s a pretty big part of Bulma.
Just wanted to leave that, drink some water
Cute, but I’ve been on the internet too long to get upset when a random stranger boos something I enjoy. Thanks for the opportunity to write way too many words about it though! 2500 of them, in fact! I’d genuinely love to hear your thoughts on them.

Brotherly Love Part Three
Raditz had mixed feelings watching the Capsule Corp ship leave the facility. Many changes occurred since Goku and Vegeta discovered him nearly a week ago. Bulma put an end to monitoring Raditz. She turned off the tainted air and freed Raditz from his bonds. Most of the security was transferred to other Capsule Corp facilities. A skeleton crew remained as the facility was downsized. Aside from the repair crew, five security men and Adira were on rotation.
Though free to walk unchained, Raditz caught security staring as if expecting him to attack. He was free but Raditz still felt like a prisoner and unwelcomed. The only one who welcomed his presence was Adira.
But she’s leaving soon.
Bulma told Adira with Raditz’s monitoring ending, she didn’t need to stay and there were other places in Capsule Corporation where she can work. Raditz didn’t know when Adira will leave but from the packing he noticed over the days, it will be soon.
He stood in the doorway of her office. The walls were empty and boxes were scattered over the room. Adira sat at her desk typing on her computer when she spotted Raditz. “Are you done packing?”
“Almost but shipping some of my things doesn’t mean I’m gone for good. I’ll be here once a week to check on you."
Raditz knew once a week will easily be twice a month, then once a month until never again. “She’s punishing me because her husband and friends hate her.”
Adira pushed herself from the computer. Updating her resume can wait. “They don’t hate her. They need time to deal with this. Bulma isn’t punishing you. She ended the monitoring, removed the tainted air and downsized security. You can walk freely at your full strength.”
“She’s sending you away.”
Adira knew she would move on eventually but she didn’t expect it to be so abrupt either. “Raditz, it was always going to end like this. When Bulma offered me this chance to study you, I thought it would be a couple of years. I was a twenty-one-year-old genius with a doctorate and three degrees.”
“You make it sound as if I held you back.”
“No, but I wasn’t expecting this project to take ten years. I didn’t mind.” Far from it. Adira liked studying Raditz. Recently, she realized she enjoyed it more than she should’ve. “But research ends and people move on. You won’t see it that way but Bulma was right. I was unprofessional when you tried to break out. I didn’t stop you when I should’ve.”
“I wasn’t a threat. You know why I tried to leave.”
“I know but I lost my perspective. My judgment was clouded at a crucial time.”
Clouded. Raditz almost rolled his eyes. That wasn’t the first time Adira’s judgment clouded her thinking. He knew what passed between them wasn’t always professional by her standards. He preferred it when Adira loosened up. He also wasn’t blind to his feelings. Locked away for ten years with limited companionship would do that. Time apart may do both of them good but Raditz knew Adira shouldn’t go back to the woman she was when they met.
“You want to be an Ice Queen again.”
“No, but I was getting too close to you. When I met you, you were a fascinating alien to study. Scary but fascinating.”
Raditz was a wild brute then. Daily, he threatened to kill her and Bulma and tried to break out. While Bulma dealt with him using bonds that electrocuted him, security and tainting the air to keep him weak, Adira wasn’t fazed by his anger and threats. She was so cool as if nothing got under her skin.
“Then my perception changed.”
“You mean your divorce.” For Raditz, that’s when he noticed Adira being different with him. She wasn’t cold and clinical. She became engaging; began sharing Earth’s culture with him, and for the first time, made Raditz feel he had an ally in this situation.
“My divorce had nothing to do with you, Raditz. My ex and I wanted different things and I married very young because I thought that’s what I should do in a long-term relationship and when you want more physically.”
“You married because you needed your cherry popped,” Raditz saw the truth no matter how Adira tried to dress it up. “I wonder if it’s the same for my brother. Bulma mentioned he has only been with his wife. Either dear brother doesn’t know better or his wife is damn good at what she does.”
“How do you know that?”
Raditz grinned as if he knew a dirty secret. “Bulma let it slip she missed her chance.”
“She didn’t say that.”
“Not in those exact words, but I could tell.”
It was an open secret Bulma had a special connection with Son Goku but she went on to have a relationship with Vegeta and was happy with him until his mistake. “Say what you want about Bulma, but if not for her, we wouldn’t have met.”
Raditz scoffed. “So, she has one good thing.”
“More than one. She befriended your brother and Vegeta. They’re friends and they helped you. Bulma realizes she was wrong and is making things right.”
Her latest actions were proof Bulma was trying to atone but Raditz knew she still had manipulative motives. “Do you think it’s right she’s sending you away?”
“I’m staying in a reduced role. Be happy with your freedom. Make this into your home.”
“I don’t want it to be my home.”
Adira understood this place held bad memories and the one place Raditz wanted to go to, he was refused. “I was hoping your brother would take you in but you can understand why he didn’t. You have an unlimited supply of food. The staff here have been handpicked so you won’t be alone.”
“They look at me like I will attack them.”
“They are wary but they are willing to give it a shot.”
“While you visit once a week.”
“You don’t need me.”
“I know.” Raditz’s tail uncurled around his waist and wrapped around Adira’s. He pulled her to him. “It doesn’t mean I don’t want you around.”
“Raditz…..” He has been very forward since Bulma removed the tainted air. Very confident, too. She noticed his swagger; his eyes lingering on her longer than usual. “This freedom is making you bolder…..”
“It’s making me more of myself.” His tail stroked her back. “Don’t you like it?”
A little too much. Adira uncurled Raditz’s tail from her waist. “I should get back to my work.”
Raditz trapped Adira between the desk and him. “You’ve been meticulous studying me over the years but you missed a very crucial area.”
Maybe she did but she was feeling it now. “That…. that wasn’t part of my job.”
“It could’ve been.” He gazed into her violet eyes as her scent touched his nose. “It can be now.”
Approaching footsteps were Adira’s saving grace to separate herself from Raditz and hide behind her desk.
“He’s probably in her office.” One of the security guards spoke. “It’s the last room around the corner.”
“Thank you,” a woman was heard.
Raditz thought the woman’s voice was familiar. If it’s her, does it mean he is back?
His question was answered when Goku and Chi-Chi entered the room. “Kakarot?”
Chi-Chi smiled while Goku’s impartial face hid his feelings. “Me and Chi-Chi talked about it. We want you to stay with us, Raditz.”
“You do?” Raditz wondered what changed Goku’s mind while Adira was overjoyed with the news.
“I’m so happy you’ve changed your mind. Does Bulma know? Do I have to tell her?”
“She knows.” Bulma was the first person Chi-Chi called and given how things were between Bulma and Raditz, she understood Chi-Chi’s suggestion she stay out of the transfer. “She told us to let you handle things, Doctor. What do we have to do?”
“Adira,” Adira insisted. She typed commands onto her computer. “I have a report of Raditz you can study.”
“Or you can ask.” Raditz hated that report. “I’m right here.”
“The report is more helpful,” Adira pulled a cPad case from her drawer. “I got this ready when Bulma told me Goku was coming. I thought he would take Raditz with him then.” She handed the case to Goku who pointed to Chi-Chi who was equally startled to receive the high-tech device. “The charger is inside the case.” She picked up on Chi-Chi’s unease. Her mother was the same way with technology. “I’ll show you everything while Raditz packs.”
Chi-Chi was grateful for Adira’s tutorial but she worried when saw the room Raditz stayed in. It was larger than the room she and Goten prepared for him. “Raditz, I should warn you the room we have for you is very simple.” Chi-Chi noticed the large TV, cooking area, the bathroom and an amazing space. “It’s not as large or have these amenities.”
“Don’t let the size fool you. It’s accommodating but it’s confined and lacks privacy.” Adira pointed to the cameras. “Raditz was watched everywhere.”
“Everywhere?” Chi-Chi pointed to the bathroom. “Even there?”
“There’s a camera but I never looked. I can’t say be sure about Bulma.”
She looked. Chi-Chi was certain of that. She slid her fingers on the smooth cPad screen and scrolled a few lines of Adira’s diary in the early days of Raditz’s confinement. “Did Raditz have any privacy?”
The concern in Chi-Chi’s voice made Raditz’s ears twitch. She spoke as if having empathy for him. He smiled but when he caught his brother’s icy stare, he dropped his smile. It’s not as if I patted her ass, Kakarot.
“Kakarot, have you told your boys about me?”
“Goten’s excited. Gohan isn’t.”
That was more than Raditz expected. He thought both boys would be wary of him. “How is Gohan?”
“Tall. Stronger than you,” Goku answered as a warning for Raditz.
Raditz tossed the few clothes he had into his duffle bag. He went to his desk and pulled out a portable CD player and CDs. “A CD player?” Chi-Chi thought he’d have something more updated.  “I thought Bulma gave you one of those pod thingies people use now.”
“Bulma allowed a TV for Raditz but not the Internet,” Adira explained. “He can’t download music so I bought him a player so he can listen to music.”
“That was thoughtful.”
“It was a gift,” Adira smiled remembering Raditz’s surprise when she gave it to him. “Raditz was progressing very well and I wanted to show it was appreciated.”
Chi-Chi noticed the slight smile on Raditz’s face as he placed his player and CDs into his bag. “I see. What kind of music do you like, Raditz?”
“Heavy Metal. Hard Rock.”
“I introduced him to all kinds of music,” Adira added. “He’s stuck on Heavy Metal and Rock.”
I wonder what else she introduced him to. It was clear to Chi-Chi that something sparked between them. “We’ll get you better headphones so only you can hear it.”
“Not your type of music.” Raditz wasn’t surprised. “Probably not Kakarot’s either.”  He zipped up his bag and slung it over his shoulder. “I’m done. Let’s go.”
“There’s one thing we have to deal with.” Chi-Chi pointed to his waist. “Your tail. It’s not safe for us if you have that while you live with us.”
Raditz looked at his tail secured around his waist. It was seen by everyone and no one spoke of it being a problem. “Why not?”
“Have you looked at a full moon while here?”
“No.” Raditz pointed to the ceiling. “I haven’t seen a full moon in ten years. I don’t know when there will be one.”
“Next week.” Adira had wondered what would happen then now Raditz was free. “It was too risky to test Raditz to see if he can control himself under a full moon. We offered to remove his tail but he refused.”
Suddenly, Raditz understood Chi-Chi’s concerns. “I might be rusty but I should be able to control myself.”
“Should?” That wasn’t good enough for Chi-Chi. “Goku and Gohan can handle you if you become an Oozaru but I have a young child and a home I don’t want destroyed. I can’t risk that on ‘should’. Raditz, we are willing to take you in but you must have your tail cut.”
Cut? This wasn’t clipping his hair, which is something he also hated. This was his tail! “You want me to deform myself?”
“You can live without it,” Goku didn’t see the problem. “Me and Vegeta have been without ours for years.”
But you’re also stronger than me. I have some advantages as an Oozaru. “My tail is a part of who I am; a Saiyan.”
Adira thought it was a hindrance to Raditz’s reform. For years, she tried to convince Raditz to relinquish it with no luck. With Goku and Chi-Chi on her side, she saw a chance to finally convince Raditz to remove his tail. “You told me you wanted to walk among humans. This is a way to do it without unwanted eyes. You want to know your family. Is your tail worth more than knowing your brother and nephews?”
With three judging eyes on him, Raditz felt pushed against the proverbial wall. For years, he was imprisoned and stripped of his dignity. Now he must endure one more swipe at his pride. “So, that’s the penance I must pay for freedom. My tail.” Deep down he knew it’d come to this but hoped it wouldn’t. So this is what I must give up to prove myself to you, Kakarot? “Fine,” Raditz gave in. “I’ll need a tool, Adira.”
“I can do it,” Goku volunteered. “I had my tail removed multiple times. I know what to do for a permanent removal.”
Raditz would think nothing of it but there was something about his brother’s smile that left Raditz uneased. “Adira has a tool in her lab, Kakarot.”
“Actually, I don’t,” Adira shamefully admitted. “A lot of equipment has been transferred to other facilities.”
“I can do it, Raditz,” Goku volunteered again. “I’ll make it quick.”
But will it be painless? Raditz didn’t think so with the creepy smile his brother gave him.
Goku took Raditz’s duffle bag and dropped it on the bed. “Turn around, pull your pants down and bend over so I can do it.”
Those were words Raditz never wanted to hear from Goku’s mouth directed at him.
“We’ll give you time to do it,” Chi-Chi gently pushed at Adira, ushering her out with her.
“No,” Raditz mildly protested at Chi-Chi and Adira leaving. He didn’t want to be left alone with his brother. “But….. but……” When the door closed with a soft click, Raditz slowly turned to his brother. He still wore that creepy smile.
“I remember the last time you held my tail, Kakarot.”
“Piccolo ain’t here.” Goku made a circle rotation of his finger. “Turn around.” Raditz refused. “What’s wrong?”
“What’s wrong? I don’t want to get attacked again, Kakarot. You’ve been a powder keg ever since you saw me again. I make a joke and you hit me so hard I blacked out. I compliment liking your wife and Prince Vegeta has to hold you back.” He stepped back fearing being too close to his brother. “No one is here to stop you from harming me.”
“I’m not gonna harm you,” Goku smiled as he stepped forward. “I’m gonna remove your tail. Can we hurry?” he insisted. “Chi-Chi gotta make dinner for us. I promise you it’s good.”
Raditz heard great things about Chi-Chi’s cooking. A Saiyan never turned down a good meal. Will it be worth the pain I’m gonna receive when you take my tail?
Outside, Adira and Chi-Chi waited. Chi-Chi read on the cPad while Adira looked at the door concerned. She wasn’t comfortable with Goku’s creepy smile. “Do you think it was smart to leave them alone?”
“FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!”
Adira jumped while Chi-Chi kept scrolling her cPad. “Do you have an ice pack?”
Adira stared at Chi-Chi. Didn’t she hear Raditz? How could she speak so calmly after that excoriating scream?
Is it safe to leave Raditz with them?
While Adira rushed off for the ice pack, Chi-Chi shook her head at the door. I knew he wouldn’t be gentle. With a sigh, Chi-Chi entered the room to Raditz yelling. “WHAT THE FUCK!!!” Raditz had one hand on his lower back. He lost his tail before in a fight with Dodoria. It hurt but it wasn’t this excruciating. “Why didn’t you slice it off?!”
Goku held up the bleeding tail. “If I slice it off, it’ll grow back. I had to damage the nerves permanently so it won’t grow back.”
“There could’ve been an easier way to do it!”
“Yeah,” Goku agreed there was, “but you never said you wanted that.”
“Never said….” He may get killed but Raditz wasn’t going to be made a fool by his younger brother. “You, son of a…..”
“Stop!” Chi-Chi jumped between Goku and Raditz. Raditz had a fist closed, ready to hit his brother but with his wife standing between them as a shield, he couldn’t strike. You’re lucky your wife saved your ass.
“Adira is bringing ice for you, Raditz. Once the pain heals, we can go. I’ll have a nice meal for us.”
Raditz snorted. “Your nice meal won’t make up for what Kakarot did.”
Chi-Chi smiled. She thought differently.  “You say that now. Wait until you eat my cooking. Even Vegeta can’t resist it.”
Raditz mumbled something about not being so easily impressed when Adira returned with an ice pack and bandages. Chi-Chi took Adira’s return to leave with Goku and let the doctor care for Raditz alone. He laid on the bed as ordered while Adira cleaned his wound and covered it with a bandage. “You should be happy, Raditz. This is what you wanted.”
“I don’t know about that now.” He hissed as Adira placed the ice on his burning skin.
“He’s giving you a chance.”
“A chance?!” Raditz raised his chest and groaned as burning pain shot up his back. “He deliberately ripped off my tail so I could feel the most pain!”
“You’re brothers. Brothers play pranks on each other,” Adira excused Goku. “You’ve done worse.” Raditz growled at that reminder. “This isn’t an easy adjustment for your brother. All that emotion from years ago is coming back. He’s dealing with that while helping you. Make it easy. Be kind to him. Get to know him. Compliment him.”
“Kind? Compliment?” Right now Raditz wanted to punch his brother even if it meant getting his ass kicked.
“A little kindness goes a long way,” Adira advised. “Say something he would be proud of like his strength.”
“Oh, yeah,” Raditz imagined how that will go. “Hey, Little Brother. You’re strong enough to kick my ass now.”
With his wound covered, Adira helped Raditz stand. “I’ll visit to see how you are doing but spend time getting to know your brother and his family.”
“Some family.” He was getting what he wanted but did not expect this price. Was it worth it? What have I got myself into?
Gohan and Goten were waiting outside their home for their parents and Raditz. Goten was excited to have Raditz living with them. He was Chi-Chi’s helper getting the house prepared. Gohan voiced his concern while listening to his parents’ reasons for their decision. It was fair but he didn’t like it.
“Goten is right. We always help family and Raditz is family.”
Gohan was glad his brother was in bed. If he hadn’t, he would’ve looked smug happy their mother took his side. “But can you believe he’s changed?”
“Porunga wouldn’t have brought him back if he hadn’t, Gohan.” Gohan heard the resignation in his father’s voice. There was resistance but he was pushing forward with this crazy idea.  “We have to do this.”
Gohan looked at his mother feeling she was the push behind this idea. As if she knew he thought that, she reminded him, “It’s not the first time we’ve taken in questionable people, Gohan. You and your father wanted Piccolo to live with us while I hated it.”
And how long was she waiting to bring that up? “It’s not the same, Mom. Piccolo wasn’t that bad.”
“Not that bad? Gohan, he put a hole in your father’s chest. I’m sure he took pleasure in killing him.”
“He was smiling at that,” his father agreed with his mother.
Gohan wanted to roll his eyes. His father the traitor.
“He kidnapped you when your father thought you would return to me. He left you alone in the wilderness to fend for yourself for six months and beat you up for another six months.”
Over ten years later, Gohan could not come up with a rational defense of that. His mother loved bringing it up when the opportunity presented itself. “That was bad but he sacrificed himself for me and he helped me and Dad on Namek.”
“I didn’t see that but while he lived with us, I noticed he changed. The same is possible for your Uncle Raditz. If I can take a chance on Piccolo, you can with your Uncle Raditz.”
His mother made a fair case but it was difficult because of the awful memories he had of Raditz. I’ll try, Mom. As his parents and uncle came into view, Gohan hoped this will be a smooth transition.
“There they are!” Goten waved and signaled his parents and Uncle in as if he were an airplane marshaller.
“Someone is eager,” Chi-Chi was amused by Goten’s waving. As Goku landed, Chi-Chi noticed Gohan’s face. He wasn’t smiling but he didn’t look angry. Give him a chance, Gohan.
Raditz adjusted his duffle bag as he greeted his nephews. Gohan was not the short little runt he kidnapped. He was very tall but slender. Raditz didn’t let Gohan’s slim build fool him. He knew his nephew was strong. Raditz checked out his second nephew. He looks like Kakarot and our father without the resting shit face.
“Raditz, meet our children. You know Gohan and this is Goten.”
“Gohan,” Raditz smiled at his nephew. “You look strong.”
Gohan didn’t return the smile. “I am strong. Wanna test me?”
Raditz admired Gohan’s toughness. He was a crybaby but the Saiyan blood is strong in him. “Later.”  Raditz looked down at his youngest nephew. “Hello, Goten. I’m your Uncle Raditz.”
Goten hugged Raditz’s legs. The child gazed at Raditz with a big smile. “Big Brother’s grumpy but I’m glad you’re here.”
Raditz smiled at the child unsure if he should be happy or worried a child was so welcoming to him.
“Let’s go inside. “We have a room prepared for you.” Chi-Chi led the way into her home. Raditz was going to follow when Goku suddenly jumped between Raditz and Chi-Chi. Chi-Chi didn’t notice but Raditz did. He shook his head at his younger brother and followed them inside.
His brother’s home was smaller than the facility but felt welcoming. There were family photos on the wall in several stages of life. His brother looked very happy in the union ceremony with Chi-Chi; baby, toddler and child photos he took with Gohan and recent pictures with Goten. Photos weren’t a thing on Planet Vegeta. Some worlds had holograms but his people didn’t. Photos and holograms were considered things for the weak. It wasn’t in his culture to have that sentimentality.
Would’ve been nice to have after Planet Vegeta was gone.
“Here’s the kitchen.” Chi-Chi entered the busiest room in her home. “A Saiyan’s favorite room.”
“Not really. A Saiyan’s favorite room is…” he stopped when he saw Goku’s glare. “You have a big kitchen.”
“It’s my dream kitchen. Goku and I could only afford a small home when we married. Over the years, we added on. I always wanted a huge kitchen with lots of space.” Chi-Chi went past a huge stove to open the massive refrigerator to reveal it was a walk-in model. “Now I do. I have a walk-in refrigerator and a walk-in freezer.” She closed the door and opened the one to the pantry which was also a walk-in. Raditz saw child-size bags of rice stacked next to bags of flour and sugar. On the shelves were jars and boxes of food.  “We have plenty of food so don’t hesitate to eat.” Chi-Chi went to the counter where the fruit bowl rested. There was a notepad and pen on the wall next to it. “If there’s something you want not here or if we are low on anything, we always put it on the list here.”
Chi-Chi left the kitchen to show Raditz the living room and bathroom he will share with Gohan and Goten. His bathroom had a shower. This one had a tub combined with a shower. “This is yours,” Goten pointed to a toiletry bag with Raditz’s name on it. It was filled with a bar of soap, a toothbrush, toothpaste, deodorant, shaving cream and a razor.
Chi-Chi went to the room across the hall bathroom. “The boys have separate rooms now. This is Goten’s room.” The door was open to reveal a room with a small TV and game console, a bed, a desk, shelf with a few books but was mostly filled with toys.
“Come to my room whenever you want,” Goten offered his Uncle.
Chi-Chi went to the room next to it. “This is Gohan’s.” This room was larger. It didn’t have a TV or game console but it had two desks. One with a microscope and another with books on it. There was a large bookshelf filled with books. No toys.
“Knock if you want to enter,” Gohan warned.
“There’s the hall closet and your room,” Chi-Chi pointed to it but kept walking. She went around the corner to one more room. “This is my and Goku’s room.” From the doorway, Raditz saw a large bed and more family photos on the wall. He was going to step inside for a better look when Goku gripped his right shoulder.
“Goku,” Chi-Chi shook her head at Goku but he wouldn’t relinquish his hand. “Let’s go to your room, Raditz.” Chi-Chi slapped Goku’s hand off Raditz and went around the corner to Raditz’s room.
“Here is your room.” Chi-Chi opened the door. “Goten and I decorated the room. We didn’t know what colors you like so we kept it neutral.”
Raditz nodded as he stepped inside. It was smaller than the room he had at the facility but Raditz didn’t mind. He had a desk, an empty bookshelf and a bed large enough for him. He put down his duffle bag and sat on the bed. “Nice.” He bounced on the soft mattress. There was an empty chest drawer and closet. Raditz checked the lamp before elevating to the ceiling to examine the corners of the room. He frowned when he didn’t see them. Where were they?
“What are you looking for?” Chi-Chi asked him.
“Cameras.”
Chi-Chi felt a pang of sadness for Raditz. He did awful things. He hurt her husband and eldest son but she was sad for how confining life was for him in the last decade. “There are no cameras here, Raditz. We won’t be watching you. You’re free to travel Mount Paozu and walk around our house.”
Raditz lowered himself to the floor. “I can?”
“Yeah,” Goku agreed with Chi-Chi. “Unless you give us a reason you shouldn’t.”
“There won’t be.” Relief washed over Raditz at his freedom. A room to himself where he won’t be monitored. Freedom to go where he wanted; access to vast land where he can have unequivocal privacy. It was more than he expected, but there was one thing he did desire. “What about a TV?”
“Goten has a small TV in his bedroom.” But Chi-Chi doubted Raditz would want to use that. “We all use the TV in the living room.”
“But there are four of you.”
“Goku doesn’t watch TV unless I’m watching. Gohan rarely watches TV. The only TV watchers are me and Goten but he has a time limit. We should be able to share it.”
Goten grabbed his hand. “We can watch TV together, Uncle Raditz. I know a lot of TV shows.”
Raditz looked down at the child. His big smile radiated warmth and innocence. The child’s open acceptance of him reminded Raditz of himself when he was a boy gazing up at his strong father. His father shunned warmth as a reminder emotions are weak and Saiyans don’t engage in it.
Raditz closed his hand around his nephew’s feeling emotions weren’t weak and it’s something Saiyans should engage in.
Raditz was left alone to unpack. He didn’t have many items. Living at the facility, Raditz wore Saiyan armor, shorts, loose pants and tank shirts. Mount Paozu was cooler than the island facility. He could handle the weather here but wanted clothes to fit his new environment.
Raditz took a shower and changed into a black tank shirt, red shorts and sneakers. He found Chi-Chi in the kitchen and his nephews in the living room. Gohan sat on the sofa reading while Goten sat on the floor next to a set of board games while watching TV. One person was missing.
“Where’s Kakarot?”
“He went fishing.” Chi-Chi came out of the pantry holding a giant bag of rice.
Raditz found that suspicious. His brother watched him like a hawk around Chi-Chi. Why would he suddenly leave her alone? Was I wrong? Raditz went into the kitchen. Gohan was on his feet following him.
Ah, I see. That’s why you were comfortable leaving, Kakarot.
Raditz took the rice bag from Chi-Chi. He smiled. “Where do you want this?”
“Um….” Chi-Chi blanked out for a moment. “You can put it on the counter. That bag isn’t heavy for me.”
“I know.” Raditz laid the bag on the counter. “Saiyans like strong women. You must be tough to put up with Kakarot.”
“And you and Vegeta,” Chi-Chi opened the bag and let the grains pour into a big bowl. “Sometimes you’re all the same and can be handled the same way.”
“With food?” Raditz patted his stomach. “I’m looking forward to your cooking. I’ve heard good things.”
“I am a good cook,” Chi-Chi pridefully admitted. “Even Goku and Vegeta sometimes fight over it.”
“So, you’re saying my brother and I will fight over you?”
Raditz noticed Gohan standing by a counter watching him. He looked furious. Raditz knew his shameless flirting was bad but not something to provoke an attack from his nephew. If his brother was around, Raditz knew he would be lying on the floor paralyzed.
Chi-Chi accepted his flirting amused, “If you have a death wish, you can try.”
“Uncle Raditz.” Gohan interrupted the friendly banter between his Uncle and mother. “Goten’s waiting for you. We have games and snacks.”
Chi-Chi made a slight movement with her head, indicating he should leave.  Raditz followed Gohan into the living room where he noticed a tray of sandwiches and juice bottles on the coffee table.
“Uncle Raditz,” Goten ushered Raditz to sit next to him. “Let’s play while Momma makes dinner.” He spread out the board games. “We have Monopoly. Checkers and Scramble.” He pointed to three card sets. “We also have UNO, Old Maid and Gold Fish.”
Raditz picked up a sandwich. “You pick one. I’ve never played these games.”
Goten shuffled a deck of UNO cards. “What kind of games did you play, Uncle? We can play those.”
Those games involved killing, taunting opponents and sexual play. Raditz saw Gohan’s deadly stare. Even if I joke about it, he’ll slice off my head. “We’ll play yours.”
They played three games of UNO before switching to Checkers. Raditz lost the first two games but by the third, won a match. He beat Goten a second time when Goku returned. He frowned seeing Raditz. Goku spoke to Chi-Chi, accepted a bowl from her and went outside with another dark look at Raditz.
Goten wanted to play another game but Raditz declined. He needed to talk to his brother. Goten unaware of the tension followed him. Goku stared when Raditz came outside with Goten. His shoulders sagged and resumed skinning the fish. Goten gathered the chopped wood by the house and arranged it on a charred area of grass.
Raditz saw a grill standing against the wall. “Why don’t you use the grill?”
“It’s too big for the fish.” Goku rubbed the seasoning he received from Chi-Chi on the fish. “Besides, I like grilling this way.”
It’s wild. They’re alike and different in many ways.
“Bardock, why not use our oven?”
Raditz wondered that himself. They were behind the house and not in the woods. The food would cook faster in the oven and it would be less work for him. He wouldn’t have to carry these sticks and follow his Dad around.
Raditz heard his Dad sigh. It wasn’t the first time Mom asked this question and he was over answering it again. “Gine, ovens won’t always exist on planets Raditz will be sent to. He needs to learn how to cook off the land.” Raditz laid the sticks on the ground and arranged them as he had been taught.  “Besides, the food tastes better over a fire.”
Raditz noticed his Dad staring at him. He arranged the sticks as taught. Raditz shrugged. What else did he need to do? His Dad’s frown deepened. “Is the fish gonna cook by itself, Raditz?”
Oh. Oops. Raditz forgot that. He fired a ki from his hand and started the fire. He smiled hoping that pleased his father but received a frown in return.
Raditz took his father’s sternness to learn he should not be rewarded for mistakes and not expect praise for doing what was expected of him.
Little Brother was fortunate to be spared that lesson.
“Goten, we’re gonna need a few more sticks to hold up the fish.”
“Okay, Daddy.” Goten grabbed two long pieces of wood that were twice his size and staked them into the ground.
Goku adjusted the fish on the sticks and allowed Goten to start the fire. “Good job but lower your Ki about halfway next time, Goten. The fire is hot but it will cook the fish too fast on the outside before the inside is done. I can handle fish being a little raw but Mommy’s stomach can’t.”
“Oops,” Goten flushed embarrassed. “Big Brother told me that, too. I don’t want Mommy to get sick again.”
“I know,” Goku hugged Goten. “If Mommy’s sick, that means I have to cook. You don’t want that, do you?”
Goten giggled as Goku tickled him. “No! Mommy’s the best cook!”
“That’s right. Mommy’s the best.” Goten’s tickle squeals filled Goku’s heart with joy. He wasn’t having the best day but his family always made him feel better. Through his tickling, he saw Raditz watching them. There was something in Raditz’s eyes that was a mixture of pain and envy. It made Goku think of Chi-Chi and their talk about Raditz. “I’ll keep an eye on the fish, Goten. Go back inside and see if Mommy needs help.”
Silence fell between the brothers once they were alone again. Goku focused on the fish as he tried to break the ice. “How’s your room?”
“Good. The bed’s soft. I like the privacy. Once I figure things out, I’d like to get some more clothes.”
“You need it.” Goku turned the fish. “You don’t need to be walking about Chi-Chi half-naked.”
“Half naked?” Raditz checked his clothes. His tank shirt and shorts revealed nothing except his legs and arms. “The vital parts are covered, Kakarot. I’m sure your wife’s seen bare arms and legs before.”
“Mine,” Goku mumbled.
His voice was low but Raditz heard. I see. If things get better between them, Raditz vowed to tease Goku about this. For now, Raditz worked on building a civil relationship. “I appreciate this chance, Kakarot, but I’m curious. What changed your mind?”
Goku silently stared at the fish. Raditz nearly gave up getting an answer until… “Chi-Chi helped. Gohan and Goten have a good relationship. We’ll never be that close but part of me wants to see what kind of relationship we can have.”
Raditz wanted that, too. “I can’t take back what I did to Gohan but I’d never hurt him, Goten or Chi-Chi. It took years but I realize the Saiyan way is wrong. Everything I’ve been taught was wrong. It’s not easy to undo that, Kakarot.”
“I know.” Talking with Chi-Chi and seeing the changes in Vegeta, Goku understood life was hard for his brother and his environment made him do things he wouldn’t have done under a kinder setting like Earth. “That’s why I’m giving you a chance. Don’t make me regret it.”
“I won’t.” Raditz suddenly felt good. Maybe the glacier between him and his brother was finally thawing. Relaxing, Raditz walked around the yard impressed with the field of green underfoot, the tall trees, the fresh air and clear stream of water running near the house. “Is there where you grew up?”
“Yeah.”
“Home wasn’t like this on Planet Vegeta.” Raditz kicked the grass. “The ground was barren and coarse.” He noticed a flowerbed of colorful flowers. “Nothing grew. The terrain was bland but tough. The capital where I was transferred had some greenery but not like this.”
Goku tried to imagine it. It didn’t sound appealing. “It doesn’t sound fun.”
“You would’ve hated it.” Raditz couldn’t imagine his soft brother on their harsh birth planet. “You’re lucky to grow up on a soft planet, Kakarot.”
Goku frowned at ‘soft’. “Earth is peaceful but it wasn’t easy growing up here. It was rough sometimes.”
Raditz laughed. His brother couldn’t be foolish to try to compare their circumstances! “Kakarot, I’ve heard your story. You’ve never suffered. You never dealt with loss and tough battles until you met me. You thought you were the strongest guy around, and growing up here, it’s easy to see why. It’s not your fault but this planet made you overconfident and unprepared for a real challenge.”
Most of what Raditz said was right. He was overconfident. When he won the Tenkaichi Budokai, Goku thought he was the strongest and no one was above him. His brother’s arrival was a blow to his ego and made a mockery of everything he endured but he was wrong thinking his life was easy. “What did Bulma tell you about me?”
Nothing wildly fascinating if he was honest. “You lived a boring life until she opened your eyes to the world. You got strong competing in fighting tournaments. You helped people and saved the world a couple of times. I tuned her out when she kept bragging over her influence on you, but you had an easy life, Kakarot.”
Easy? It wasn’t easy to find his grandpa dead. It was horrifying to learn he killed his grandpa. It wasn’t easy during the insanity of King Piccolo and losing his friends. He made it look easy living and training alone but Goku didn’t enjoy it. He accepted that was the life for him until he met Chi-Chi again, married her, had Gohan and discovered how fulfilling life can be.
But his brother wouldn’t understand that and Goku wasn’t in the mood to share his ‘easy’ life. “I guess compared to you, I did have it easy.”
Ah, damn. I was being complimentary, Kakarot. “There’s nothing wrong with how you lived, Kakarot. You had it easier. Accept that.”
“If that’s what you think, Raditz, maybe it’s true.”
“Don’t be like that, Kakarot.” They were having a good conversation. Why was his brother so sour over facts? “Don’t be soft because you can’t handle the truth.”
Shit! Raditz was knocked off his feet by a strong gust of wind. He laid on the ground stunned where it came from. He didn’t feel a breeze and the trees didn’t sway. As he stood, he realized the wind came from his brother. What the hell did he do? What did I say that was wrong?
“Goku! Raditz!” Chi-Chi called as she stepped outside holding a large cloth. Goten was with her holding a bread basket and Gohan was behind them holding a large platter. Chi-Chi opened the tablecloth and spread it across the picnic table. “I thought we should have dinner outside. Goku, can you help bring out the dishes? I’ll keep an eye on the fish.”
Goku didn’t look as if he wanted to leave but a friendly touch from Chi-Chi encouraged Goku to go inside. When he did, Chi-Chi asked Raditz, “How do you talk with your foot in your mouth?”
She was smiling as she jested with him. It tempered Raditz’s annoyance with Goku. “It tastes good. I can’t help it.”
Chi-Chi laughed loudly as if hearing a good joke. Goten giggled, too. He didn’t understand the joke but seeing his Uncle and Mom laughing together, Goten didn’t want to be left out.
“Mom.” Gohan didn’t like this friendly exchange. How can Mom laugh with him? It took her months to smile when Piccolo lived with us.
Goku’s sudden teleportation between Chi-Chi and Raditz brought the laughter to a halt. Raditz felt an elbow hit his stomach and his knees crumple to the ground. Raditz stared up at Goku smirking. “That….. “ Raditz knew that trick. “You’ve met Yardratians?” Ah, hell. He’s a Super Saiyan and can teleport, too?!
It was annoying being undermined by his younger brother but Raditz didn’t retaliate. He kept his cool and helped bring the dishes from the kitchen to the picnic table. He thought he was doing a good thing until he saw his brother glare at him again. Now what?
Tensions eased when all the food was on the table. Food always did that among Saiyans. Raditz remembered being angry with Vegeta a few times but mealtime always brought a ceasefire. Almost always. Raditz noticed his brother in a happier mood but Gohan looked bothered. Raditz brushed it aside and focused on the heavenly meal. The food smelled delicious and if the smell was a tease of what he will consume, Raditz’s stomach was in for a treat.
Raditz sat with Goten. Raditz felt safest with him. “Try Mommy’s bread, Uncle,” Goten offered. “It’s really good.”
Raditz picked up a roll and sniffed it. It does smell good. Raditz bit into the round bun. Amazing! Raditz rapidly ate the bun, a second, third and fourth until Goku snatched the basket from him.
“This is for all of us!” Goku held the basket to his chest as if cradling a baby.
“Goku, don’t be like that.” She took the basket from Goku and handed it to Raditz. “Eat as much as you want.”
“Chi-Chi,” Goku whined at the betrayal. She gave the entire bread basket to Raditz and he didn’t get a roll!
“You’ve had my bread plenty of times. Raditz hasn’t and he likes it. I’ll make more tomorrow.”
“But I want it now!” Goku pouted.
Chi-Chi fixed Goku’s plate and urged him to eat.  “Tomorrow.  Eat your dinner.”
Goku ate but grumpily stared at the bread Raditz consumed. His brother didn’t look his way as he ate the bread until he picked up the last one. He smirked at Goku and slowly ate it. “This bread is delicious, Chi-Chi. You are an amazing cook. Everything…. is wonderful.”
Goku’s chopsticks broke in his hand.
It was a competitive dinner. Raditz praised Chi-Chi’s cooking and received extra helpings much to Goku’s chagrin. He always got the extra servings but now his wife gave it to his brother. Goku didn’t have proof but suspected Raditz piled on the praises to get back at him. Chi-Chi loved when her food’s complimented. Even Vegeta picked up praising Chi-Chi’s food got him more than Goku. But even Vegeta knew not to go too far. Raditz didn’t and got the last boar meat, the last macaroni and the last piece of fish that Goku hunted.
Chi-Chi wasn’t naïve during dinner. She felt the tension and tried her best to host a family meal without a fight breaking out.  She achieved that goal but Goku and Gohan’s behavior cast a heavy cloud on dinner and left her questioning if inviting Raditz was a good idea.
“We are doing the right thing, aren’t we?” Chi-Chi sat at her vanity desk and worriedly brushed her hair. “It wasn’t a mistake to invite Raditz, right?”
Goku counted to himself as he did his pushups. His brother had him so wired tonight he had a lot of energy he needed to expend before he could sleep. “No,” Goku still thought inviting Raditz was a good idea. He didn’t like what Chi-Chi did. “But you didn’t have to give Raditz all the food!”
“I didn’t give him all the food. I wanted to be a good hostess and make Raditz feel welcome.” Chi-Chi put down her brush and pulled her hair back so she could wrap it in a soft band. She knew it wasn’t going to be easy but she thought Goku and Gohan would give more effort. “I think we’re doing the right thing, too, but Gohan was so unhappy today. I thought Gohan would feel better by dinner but he finished dinner first and instead of helping, asked to be excused to his room. He never came out except to say good night.” Gohan never did that and it bothered Chi-Chi. “Maybe this is too much for Gohan.”
Goku noticed Gohan’s behavior, too. He didn’t mind but Chi-Chi’s disappointment in him and Gohan had him regretting their behavior. “Gohan’ll come around.”
Chi-Chi hoped so but knew if it were to happen, Gohan needed a push. “It’d be helpful if you show some initiative, Goku.”
Goku sat up, giving up his pushups for the night. He knew he wasn’t doing a good job welcoming his brother. He went fishing instead of helping him get settled in. He got annoyed with him while he grilled the fish and dinner was a disaster. “It’s hard, Chi-Chi. I wanna give Raditz a chance but having him around you and the boys……. I don’t like it. I can stop Raditz but I think about what he did to me and Gohan. When I see you and Goten around him……”
He couldn’t finish. He couldn’t say it.
But Chi-Chi knew his words. She knew what was on his mind. Chi-Chi left her vanity desk and joined Goku on the floor. She sat behind and wrapped her arms around him. “You thought you were invincible and he took that from you. He completely changed your life; changed all our lives.”
“He made a mockery of me and all my training.” Goku thought of that brutal day. “One punch and he took me down, Chi-Chi. That’s never happened to me. He took Gohan.” Twelve years have passed but Goku could still hear his anguish son crying for him. “He took my boy and I couldn’t stop him. I needed Piccolo to help me. I got myself killed, Gohan kidnapped…..”
Chi-Chi hugged him tighter. “Shhhh.” She remembered their talk in the hospital where Goku broke down in her arms on losing Gohan, learning he killed his Grandpa and how weak he felt. That day, she had to be strong for him. Holding him now, she realized how much he needed her again.
“But he is my brother asking for a second chance.” Goku was a believer in second chances. If he didn’t, Piccolo and Vegeta wouldn’t be his friends now. Chi-Chi was trying hard to make this work for him, too. I have to do it. It wasn’t easy but Goku was gonna try. “For you, Chi-Chi. I’ll try.”
“And for you, Goku, I’ll be strong for both of us.”
Raditz thumped his pillow for the tenth time that night. He was frustrated with himself during dinner but it was not his fault. Chi-Chi offered food to him and it was good! A Saiyan never turned down good food!
Maybe I didn’t have to smirk at Kakarot when his wife gave me the last of all the food. But Raditz was getting annoyed with his brother. He invites me to live with him but has a stick up his ass when I’m trying to be civil. Everything I do and say pisses him off.
“You have to be careful around your brother. He’s adjusting so you have to exude patience.”
Raditz never thought he would have to exude patience this soon. He got out of bed and left his room. I’ll apologize and compliment his woman’s food was so good I couldn’t resist.
As Raditz neared Goku and Chi-Chi’s room, he heard sounds of thumping and smacks. Raditz froze. It has been a while but Raditz knew what those sounds meant. No wonder their room is farther from everyone else. They were getting louder with their thumps and smacks meshing with soft moans and was that a growl? A loud smashing of wood slapping the wall startled Raditz. Kakarot sounds like he’s giving it to his wife rough. Are humans this durable?
Raditz quietly left. When Saiyans mate, one never interrupts. Returning to his room, Raditz thought of Adira. It might be due to her being the constant female presence in his life for years but she was feasible for the eyes. During their parting, he felt something zip through them that was more than friendly. He knew she felt it but was resisting and that made Raditz smile.
I always like a challenge.
Goku left his bedroom first the next morning. Chi-Chi was normally the first up and left him sleeping but she slept longer this time. After last night, Chi-Chi needed more rest. Goku hadn’t meant to go so hard but intimacy was a great stress reducer. Chi-Chi was also encouraging and Goku could never say no to Chi-Chi when she got like that. After he showered and dressed, Chi-Chi rose to take her shower. Goku thought to help his wife by having Chi-Chi’s tea ready for her before she start breakfast for the family.
Goku heard the sounds of the TV from the hallway. His sons were sleeping but his brother was in the kitchen. Raditz closed the refrigerator holding two loaves of bread, a large container of boar sandwich meat and a jug of orange juice. Raditz saw Goku. He smiled grabbing the fruit bowl off the counter and going into the living room. Goku was going to leave Raditz alone but he remembered what Chi-Chi said about trying.
“Good Morning, Raditz.”
Raditz placed the food on the coffee table. He sat down, opened the jug of juice and swallowed two big gulps. “Good Morning, Kakarot.”
Even he didn’t drink from the juice bottle. Chi-Chi won’t like that. Raditz placed the jug on the coffee table. Goku’s eyes grew at the sweaty jug touching Chi-Chi’s coffee table without any coasters. Chi-Chi definitely won’t like that. Goku went into the kitchen and grabbed a towel. He placed it under the table. “Chi-Chi doesn’t like wet stuff on the coffee table.” He cringed as his brother sloppily made sandwiches on Chi-Chi’s pristine coffee table. “Chi-Chi makes our sandwiches in the kitchen.”
“But the TV is here,” Raditz gently argued.
Goku looked in the direction of the hall and back at his brother. Maybe he’ll finish before Chi-Chi comes.
“Don’t be messy,” Goku advised Raditz. “Chi-Chi doesn’t like that.”
Raditz was surprised by his brother’s kind gesture of looking out for him. Yesterday, he got the cold shoulder all day. Maybe he’s coming around.
Goku went into the kitchen. Raditz followed. Goku grabbed a kettle from the cabinet and yawned as water filled the pot. “Kakarot, I apologize for dinner.”
Goku turned off the water. “It’s fine. I’m used to Gohan and Goten getting full and leaving the rest of Chi-Chi’s food to me.” Goku placed the kettle on a burner on the stove and turned it on. “You’re our guest and should get the most food.”
Kindness from his brother, Raditz could accept but not lying. “Your wife told you to say that, didn’t she?”
Goku cracked a smile. “Yeah. Chi-Chi’s all about manners and being proper.”
Raditz laughed with his brother. The glacier was melting again. “Chi-Chi’s a damn good cook. I don’t blame you for wanting all the food for yourself.” Raditz patted his stomach. “I cook some but haven’t had a good meal like that in years.”
As the water heated, Goku placed Chi-Chi’s tea cup and strainer on the table. He went to the counter where Chi-Chi kept her set of loose tea. “You drink tea, Kakarot?”
“It’s for Chi-Chi. She always has tea before she starts breakfast. I’m getting it ready for her.”
Soft but that’s being a good mate I guess. Goku grabbed a jar of rose black tea when Raditz put an arm around Goku’s shoulder. “You’re a helluva Saiyan, Kakarot.”
Goku leaned away from his brother. Why was he holding him? Was this a trap? “I am?”
“I thought Earth made you soft but when it counts, the Saiyan in you comes out.”
Goku’s eyebrows rose. Because I’m making tea for Chi-Chi? “Huh?”
“Last night. The way you fucked your mate.” Raditz grinned as if sharing a dirty secret with him. “I didn’t know you had that edge in you.”
Goku’s hand closed tightly around the tea jar. “You were listening?”
“I came to apologize about dinner but I heard you giving it to your mate and I left you to it. You’re good, Kakarot. You grew up on a soft planet but that can’t hold back the Saiyan in you.” He gave Goku’s back a hearty slap. “Now…. if you really wanna show your mate the prowess of a Saiyan, you---oof!” Raditz clutched his stomach and crumpled to the floor where his face smacked against the wood.
Goku stepped over his brother and stormed out of the house. Chi-Chi entered the kitchen as she heard the door slam. She saw Raditz on the floor and stepped over him to tend to the hissing tea kettle. “You put your foot in your mouth again, didn’t you, Raditz?”
Raditz answered with a long, pained groan. What did I say?

Entitled Bitch (PT4 Of Goku x V Daughter)
=Warning of Violence, Child Abuse, cursing, and mention of sex, NonCon but not actrally, mention of slave= Goku x Vegetas daughter Pt3
"MANA HELPP" Y/n and Goku where both snapped from there lovers look at the call that came from Goten, "LET GO OF ME!!" They where both making there way where to Goten was calling from, There in the arms of a furies Bulma was Trunks, she was holding him by his shirt collar. "How dare to speak of matters you have not business in" Bulma hissed. Trunks could escape but not without hurting the woman, so he continued to struggle and held nothing but hatred in his eyes. "I can talk about my mama as I please" He resorted back. The two accessed the situation, Goten was standing near the two, as Vegeta was in a corner simply observing, and Chi-Chi had found her way in a little after Goku and Y/N due to Goten calls. "She isn't your MOTHER" Bulma screamed shaking the boy, "WHY CAN'T YOU GET THAT THROUGH YOUR HEAD??" She was red in the face, "SHE IS MY MOTHER!!! SHE MAY BE MY BLOOD SISTER BUT SHE'S MORE OF A MOTHER THAN YOU EVER WHERE" Trunks had tears, he hated when they talked bad about Y/N, he hated that, he hated they had any right to talk badly about this family, HIS family. Before Bulma could continue, there was a dark aura and sudden warm arm that wrapped around Trunks mid section. Both tensed with fear, "Lets have you put my son down now yea?"  she had a sick smile on and using her other hand she took a tight hold on Bulmas wrist, "Now" She squeezed causing Bulma to wince before letting go of Trunks, who was now safely in Y/N arms. The two women continued to glare at one an other, "I will not allow you to destroy what we have created" Y/N hissed, setting Trunks down and allowing him to run over to where Gohan and Goten stood. "What you created?! I created him! me and MY husband DID!" She screamed taking a shallow swing at Y/N which she easily dodged. "YOU RUINED IT ALL, STOLE MY SON FROM ME" She had tears streaming down her face, she hated Y/N but yet, she had no clue as to why. "I HATE YOU, I HATE YOU WITH MY ENTIRE BEING" She took Y/N by her collar and screamed at her face. "JUST LEAVE OR DIE!" as if there was an echo in her mind, Y/N heard those words over and over,  She never had flashbacks, she had killed the girl she was, but it wasn't Bulma screaming them... no it was her creator, her Father.
~Flash Back~
"Lord Friza, what should we do with her?" Radiz asked, holding a little Y/N in his arms, as she happily played with his hair. "Whatever you please, as long as she's fit to breed in years to come" He dismissively waved his hand. "But Sir, she'll be only 6, She's far to young" Radiz stood, protectively holding the girl close. "I don't care" Friza tail swished violently, "I want an army of Sayian hybrids, she'll have to mate with your so called prince" Radiz looked horrified, she was so young, surely he was simply joking, not really expecting Vegeta to have sex with her. "Leave my presence you filthy monkey, and insure that the prince under strands his role" Friza smack Radiz with his tail, which caused Y/N to scream. "AH" She held onto to Radiz more tightly. Friza glared at the two at screamed "JUST LEAVE OR DIE" before He began to move out of the room. She was shaking in his hold, she was smart, she understood what Friza wanted from her but she still played the innocent role. Radiz marched into the Sayians shared room, slamming the door open and startling the other two. "Radiz what the hell?" Vegeta was sitting on a chair, fighting with his scanner. "D-Did you guys know?" Radiz set Y/N down on his bed and watched with sad eyes as she crawled to the corner to keep distance from the three large men. "Know what?" Nappa asked, waking up from his nap, thinking they where under some kind of attack. "What Vegeta is expected to do with the poor girl?" Radiz saw Y/n began to shake, curled up into herself as a way of protection, she was strong, horrifically so, but she was timid, because she was fearful of the punishment that Friza would force on her. "What the hell are you talking about Radiz, and why is the brat in here?" Vegeta asked, his temper only rising. "You.. You're gonna have to mate with her" Radiz spoke in a whisper toned, being the most sympathetic of the others, he was preparing himself to protect this little girl, he would blame his mother for this weakness but he could never bring himself to hate her. "The hell did you say?" Vegeta stood glaring him. "Who the fuck said that?" Vegeta demanded, "LORD FRIZA" Radiz power lever spiked with his temper rising, Y/N let let out a squeel, running under the covers for just a little more protection. "THE HELL TO THAT, I MAY TAKE OVER PLANETS AND WORK FOR A DAMN MONSTER BUT I WILL NOT SNOOP TO THAT" Vegeta yelled, taring the blankets from Y/N as he snatched her, while she kicked and screamed, he held her firmly by her shoulders "YOU HEAR ME BRAT, HE WILL NOT CONTROL US FOR MUCH LONGER" Vegeta proclaimed, making the other Sayians nod, and Y/N looked at the man, processing his words, and held stars in her eyes, he was her savory. Was he the best to follow, no, could he betray her absolutely, but Y/N trusted Radiz and so she trusted Vegeta. However, she wasn't expecting to only have Vegeta in the end.
~ forward in time to after Vegeta and Bulma getting together ~ (I know long time skip, but hey... the other portion of this flash back is sad but if you want to know it all Comment about it and ill write it!)
"Dad, are you really... are you really dating her?" Bulma had never liked Y/N ever since she arrived and had assisted in the attempt to take over the world, but that wasn't the real reason, she was jealous of what Vegeta and Y/N where, what if they suddenly decided it was time for them to mate? what is Friza had genetically changed Y/N to crave Vegeta?? She insured her dislike for Y/N was known, and continued when Vegeta encouraged it. "I know little, but this is our safety, and she's  a very strong woman, very attractive" He was ashamed of himself, he wanted to protect his daughter, and this was the best place... but for him to actually fall for the woman was beyond either of their wildest dreams. "Listen little, to keep the woman happy, I'm gonna have to pretend to hate you," Her eyes went wide, "D-daddy what are you talking about?" She grabbed onto his arm, confused and hurt, "I love you Y/N but please understand" as he tried to explain again but Bulma walked in, "YOU WORTHLESS BRAT JUST LEAVE OR DIE" Vegeta screamed, causing Y/N to Jump and scream before running out the room in tears.
~Back to present time~
Y/N was shocked, she stood their trying to hold back tears as the memories came flooding back, "YOU CANT TALK TO HER LIKE THAT" Goten and Trunks now both stood defending Y/N... Y/N was surprised, her heart ached and her cheeks where warmed by there love. No one had ever truly stepped up to protector her, Vegeta stole her for her safety but never stood toe to toe with Friza for her. Face to face with Bulma the two kids stood, her two kids.... "That is our mother, watch you words" Goten growled. It surprised all of them, usually with an attitude so close to Goku with his carefree spirit, it surprised the others to watch his energy spike and his face to into a look of pure rage. Bulma was taken back, she was so used to having everything go her way, everyone listened to her, everyone like her, everyone feared her, but yet here she is standing in-front of a group who was doing just that. "I AM BULMA BRIEFS, YOU WILL RESPECT ME" She screamed, tears running down her face, her footsteps where heavy and practical stomp her way between the two boys and went straight to Y/N. "YOU'RE A BITCH" She screamed back in Y/N face "YOU STEAL MY BEST FRIENDS HUSBAND" She took a step closer, causing Y/N to take a calm step back "YOU WHERE CREATED TO FUCK MY HUSBAND.... YOUR ADOPTED FATHER!" That got everyone's attention, "BULMA YOU MADE A PROMISE" It was Vegeta who called, "We had an agreement to never out that!" Y/N face had turned a mix of aw struck and rage. 'She had made a promise to keep that a secret' "Bulma what the hell are you talking about?" It was Goku who stepped in now, standing protectively in front of Y/N. His sudden appearance had knocked Bulma on her ass, she was now raging on the floor. "SHE WAS MADE BY FRIZA, HER ONLY PURPOSE WAS TO PRODUCE OFF SPRING OF SAYIAN KIND" She roared, letting everyone in the area know. Gasps where heard from around the room, others mumbling to each other, sum just staring. Every action but Y/N right back into that shy and timid little girl, the one that she thought she had destroyed long ago, but no she was right back, as if she was once again face to face with Friza at the rightful age of 6. "Oh? thats good" Goku said smiling, he seemed to have wiped the sweat from his forehead. He looked back to Y/N with a bright smile, waiting for her to return it. Y/N was confused for a moment, but she knew Goku so she also knew that her words didn't exactly mean the same to him as they where to others. "i-uh what?" Bulma was aw struck, Chi Chi had made her way into the room at some point and was assisting the woman up onto her feet. "Goku, didn't you hear?" Chi Chi asked, her face pissed but a hopeful gleam in her eyes, as if the news would disgust him. "yeah! and man am I relieved, when she said Vegeta" He huffed shaking his head, hand holding Y/Ns tightly, "I thought that meant we couldn't have kids, but then she said Sayian so now I know" Everyone was flabbergasted, and a bright blush covered Y/N face, "Goku?! KIDS?! WITH HER?" Chi Chi screamed before fainting. "I mean yeah, we already have 2 kids, why not a couple more?"
~Time skip~
The tension, the fighting, the hatred, it all dispersed. With a long and tearful explanation from Y/N and Vegeta, the group seemed to have grown an understanding in a way, the bridge had be burned but some people where making efforts to rebuild it. They knew it would never be the same, not as strong, not as close, it never was with Y/N in the first place, but for Goku that fact stayed true. He loved Y/N more than he could ever express. It was the way she walked, fought, treated the boys, treated him!. She let him live how he wanted while simultaneously keeping him in line, unlike Chi Chi, who forced him into things. Sure they had arguments but they both refused to go to bed fighting, so sometimes they'd simply settle it with a spar. Their wedding was grand, they invited very few people, Vegeta was there to walk Y/N down the aisle and played Gokus best man, and Krillen, Piccolo and Gohan acted as his Groomsmen. As for Y/N she didn't have many bridesmaids, Videl stood as one, as well as her and Gohans new little baby but other than them, that was all she had. She was happy at least, She never thought she would get married in the first place but now she is, a ring on her finger, 2 young boys that call her Ma, and "Y/N YOU SHOULDN'T BE SPARING IN YOUR CONDITION" Gohan and Videl had stopped by for a visit, and where horrified to see Y/N 5 months pregnant sparing with Goku.... Come on now you know the Sons, they work fast, but who said a little baby bump would stop them from doing what they love? Nobody, exactly!!
-Man that took a while, I'm so sorry, have had a lot going on but I feel so good getting this done.  I Hope you'll enjoyed, i was departing on making this idea, like its own kinda thing! If you want more of this let me know and send me some ideas, but for now thats the end of this story! HAVE A GREAT DAY AND REMEMBER TO EAT,DRINK, AND LOVE YOURSELF BYEEEEEE LOVE YOU ALL

prefacing this by saying i still have my own standards and havent flipped to Supporting certain things, my opinions on the way i view things have just kind of shifted
so theres a convo going on on a post ive reblogged elsewhere abt the morality of portraying certain things in fiction and how it may or may not reflect on the creator irl and it rly made me think abt stuff
ive always been a believer in the idea of fiction 100% affecting reality and that if u write smth nasty theres gotta b a reason for that somehow. but after reading some pieces im kinda thinkin like. idk. i do agree that fiction can affect reality still, i think thats undeniable, and sometimes ppl who write certain things in fiction CAN and ARE actually into those things irl. but now im also of the opinion that not everyone is in that category and some ppl just want to explore things in fiction that they would never ever support or do irl for one reason or another. fiction can affect or reflect reality but in the end fiction is not reality. i think both can be true. just...make sure things are tagged bc a lot of ppl Including Me dont want to see certain shit in their fandom tags.
like idk. i hate certain subjects in fiction like of course pedophilia and underage torture porn and incest and i will never ever support or tolerate those things. but at this point ppl have the right to write about them themselves if it stays in fiction. fiction has always been a place to explore shit without it being done in the real world (even tho again i do know some ppl Do like these things irl. just not everybody). i feel like i would be a hyprocrite if i condemned everyone who writes content like that and then turned around and continued indulging in my own interests like at the very least the violence and murder in dragon ball and the other evil/problematic characters im interested in. ive literally written some brutal murder shit and...well. zamasu and goku black. thats all i rly need to say abt that lol.
that being said the anti/proship shit is still stupid as hell to me. i dont condone attacking ppl and dogpiling and witch hunting for writing nasty shit even if it grosses me out personally, but i also cant stand ppl who make being into fictional gross shit Their Entire Personality and act like theyre doing something by flaunting it. yknow. both extremes are stupid and i wish it would die already
so ya. i most likely wont b making any posts abt that shit in the future, im getting too old to be stressing abt shit like that. if someone squicks me out im going to block. thats it. and if you dont tag your shit im also blocking and then strangling you on top of it. thats all

Two months in a row with new chapters! New year, new me! I don't know how long this will last, but I'm going to ride the high for now. Tbh, I was really struggling with this chapter. I rewrote it so many times. But I think I like how everything turned out! As always, DM's/Comments are always open if you have any comments, questions, or concerns. I always love to hear your kind words and feedback!
Also, I'ma apologize for what I've done in advance.

Chapter 15
-
You soar through the air, the wind smacking against your face as you head straight for the ship. You'd rather be on the battlefield, but instead, you're fleeing like one of Frieza's cowardly soldiers. Stupid Vegeta. Always barking orders at you. He thinks he can boss you around like an underling. You've proven to be more than capable over the years, and yet Vegeta still treats you like a child. It's demeaning. And to make matters worse, Vegeta made you leave, but not only does Raditz get to stay, but those pathetic earthlings do too. Talk about adding insult to injury.
You finally arrive at the ship, landing gracefully on the terrain. You sigh dramatically, keeping your eyes fixated on the aircraft. At least after today, you'll never have to see one of these crappy ships ever again. You'll be free of the Frieza Force's terror. Though you're unsure if it'll be you in hell or Frieza. All you know is one of you is being sent on a first-class trip to eternal damnation. You take one last deep breath before heading into the ship.
On impulse, you walk straight into the room with the healing chamber. Your stone-cold gaze lands on Goku, who's still taking his sweet-ass time healing. "Ya, ya. Don't look so happy to see me." You snarl, placing your hands on your hips. "I'm not here by choice." You step closer to the chamber, sliding down against the machine. You rest your head against the cool metal, shutting your eyes. "You know, you're lucky, Kakarot. You didn't have to grow up with your pain in the ass, older brother. You didn't even have to deal with being bossed around past infancy. And you don't even remember it at all."
It takes you a while, but you eventually grow accustomed to the faint buzzing of the machine. Finally, being able to relax, well, relax as much as you can, considering your current situation. That is, until the ground starts violently shaking. Your eyes snap open as you place your hands against the floor, steadying yourself. Various objects fly off the shelves, scattering across the room. Luckily nothing damaged the healing chamber. What the hell is going on out there? You shift your focus to the direction of the battle. Frieza's energy has spiked drastically. He must have undergone one of his transformations. You know he has multiple forms, though you've never seen him transform with your own eyes. They must be giving him a harder time than you thought. Wait. There's another power level there. You were so focused on Frieza that you hadn't even noticed the new arrival. That must be the Namekian. Better late than never, you suppose. Wait, no. That's Kakarot's motto.
Your surroundings finally calm down. Frieza must be done transforming. "Frieza really does like flexing his power." You sigh. That smug bastard. You wonder if he had to transform to destroy planet Vegeta. Probably not. "I wish you remembered our homeworld. You were there long enough to at least form some basic memories. The Saiyan race was something else entirely. Life on planet Vegeta was constant destruction--- it was glorious." You grin, chuckling to yourself. "You would've hated it, Kakarot. But--- I'd give anything just to spend one more day on planet Vegeta."
You shut your eyes again, retreating into the one place you can avoid Frieza, your mind. At least, you thought you could, but even in your mind, it seems like you can't avoid Frieza or the havoc he's caused. Frieza's been this catalyst in your life, a constant sign of misery. Childhood monsters aren't supposed to be real. The monster under the bed is simply the result of an overactive imagination. But your monster is very real. Your monster took away your home, slaughtered your entire race, and then forced you to serve him. You can't seem to escape your monster, no matter how much you try.
Twenty-Something Years Ago:
"Where the hell are we going?" You shout at Cui for the millionth time. Frieza's lackeys put you and Raditz on this ship hours ago with absolutely no explanation. When you first arrived at your previous location, you wanted nothing more than to leave that prison. But now you're free from that hell hole, and you can't ignore the sinking feeling in your stomach. You don't like this. You don't like this at all.
"Then come over here, and try. I dare you!" You growl back.
"Shut your mouth, brat. Before I shut it for you!" Cui's all bark and no bite. You'd love to see him try. You could probably take Cui even before your training with Lord Frieza.
"Listen here----" Cui's screaming is cut off once he notices Zarbon poking his head into the room.
"Cui!" Zarbon's voice booms. "Stop instigating her!"
"Me? She's the one who started it!"
"She's a child." Zarbon pinches the bridge of his nose, an annoyed look crossing his features. "You're a grown man. Act like it." And with that, Zarbon once again leaves you and Raditz alone with Cui. Definitely a big mistake on Zarbon's part.
"Ya, act like it." You mock Cui as Raditz laughs hysterically.
"You're lucky I don't strangle you!" Cui is really getting worked up. Some anger management classes could do wonders for him.
"Oh, no." You hold up your hands. "I'm shaking."
"Why, you little---" Cui snarls as he stands up from his seat. But rather than storming towards you, he stomps towards the door, going out into the hall. "Someone switch jobs with me! I can't take this hell anymore! I'll even do grunt work to get away from those brats!"
"Wow." You turn to Raditz, who's mirroring your pleased expression. "I didn't think he would snap that fast."
Frieza's buffoons decide to leave you and Raditz alone for the duration of the trip. You wish you knew where they were taking you. You thought nothing could be worse than the prison they just had you in, but now you're not so sure. It's been a long---- year? Has it only been a year? It feels like it's been much longer. You feel like you've aged twenty years in only one.
The ship suddenly comes to a halt. There has to be some way to find out where you are before those clowns come to get you. Your gaze darts all over the room. No, nothing ---- wait. Bingo! There's a window, but it's a bit high up. You'd have to fly to reach it, but you don't want to attract any unwanted attention. Flying would raise your power level, and a scouter would definitely pick that up.
"Raditz, give me a boost." He raises his brows before ultimately complying. "Move over to that window." He struggles, staggering a bit. But he's able to get you to the window. You press your face against the glass, boxing your face in with your hands.
"What do you see?"
"Give me a minute!" You carefully take in the surroundings outside of the glass. It's another one of the Frieza Force's outposts, which isn't a surprise. But it seems less secure. That's strange. It's less prison-like than where you were last. Why would Lord Frieza move you here?
"What do you two think you're doing?" Zarbon's voice booms from behind. Raditz flinches, accidentally dropping you. You fall to the ground, landing on your ass. You look up at him from the floor, your eyes burning with fury.
"Oops." Raditz's eyes widen. "S-Sorry, Y/N!" You stand up, brushing yourself off. You shift your gaze back to Raditz, narrowing your eyes at the slightly larger Saiyan. Before you can scold the big idiot, Zarbon speaks up.
"Let's go." Zarbon flips around, leading you out of the room. The three of you exit the aircraft, heading straight into the unfamiliar building. You tread carefully behind Zarbon, making sure not to fall too far behind. "Lord Frieza has decided to be generous and move you here. Don't take advantage of his generosity, understand me?" Oh, yes, Lord Frieza is so generous. After destroying your planet and slaughtering your people like cattle, at least he's decided to improve your living arrangements.
Zarbon leads you both into an empty room. He turns around, looking you dead in the eyes. "Wait here."
He exits the room, leaving you both alone. "Y/N, what's going on? They've never left us alone like this. We could literally leave right now. The door is right there."
"I--- I don't know." Having more freedom is somehow worse. You can't help but feel on edge. You keep your gaze fixated on the door. It's the only way in and out. You begin to hear faint mumbling from the hallway. The murmuring quickly turns to yelling. You'd recognize that shouting anywhere, even if it's been so long since you've heard it. "Vegeta." You whisper to yourself in disbelief. He's here. He's alive. You didn't think you'd ever see your brother again.
Vegeta walks through the doorway first, followed closely by Zarbon. Nappa and Cado straggle into the room a few moments after. The room is dead silent, that is, until Zarbon clears his throat, gaining everyone's attention. "Lord Frieza has given things some thought, and he believes you Saiyans will be more productive as one unit. So he's generously decided to grant your request and reunite you. This is your one warning to behave yourselves. I'll leave you alone to get reacquainted with each other." The green-haired man turns to your brother. "And Vegeta, I trust you can show Y/N and Raditz around." Zarbon stays true to his word, leaving the room.
Once again, that eerie silence takes over. No one seems to know what to say. Vegeta walks over to you. He's gotten taller. He moves his hands toward you, dusting off your armor. "Have you been sticking to your training regime?" You nod. "And you've been eating well? I know how you are. If it was up to you, you'd eat junk all day."
"Yes, Vegeta." Vegeta moves his hands into your hair, fixing all the stray strands. Making you look more presentable.
"Did--- Did anyone hurt you?" His eyes meet yours, his expression becoming gravely serious. "Did somebody lay a hand on you? Answer me!" Your lack of response does not put him at ease. "I'll fucking kill them!" Your gaze lands on the ground as you begin mumbling. "You look me in the eyes when you answer me, Y/N."
You look back up at him, pouting. "No, Vegeta." You shake your head. "No one hurt me." It's best not to tell Vegeta the truth. He'd go on a warpath and just end up getting himself killed.
"Raditz!" His head snaps toward the taller boy. "Is she telling the truth?" Raditz's eyes widen, his entire body turning stiff. "Raditz?" Raditz's gaze meets yours. "Don't look at her for help! Look at me!"
Raditz nods rapidly. "Yes. Why--- why would she lie?"
Vegeta's gaze shifts between you and Raditz. No one dares to even move. Vegeta turns around, huffing to himself. "Alright then. We'll give you the tour of this death trap." Vegeta, Nappa, and Cado show you around the building. Showing you the ins and outs of every nook and cranny. And most importantly, they show you every exit.
You circle back around to the sleeping quarters of the building. "Half of these rooms are unoccupied. Raditz, feel free to pick any one you want." Vegeta points to another room. "Y/N, that one's yours. It's right next to mine." Of course, you and Vegeta aren't even reunited for five minutes, and he's already bossing you around. You're not even mad about it. It's nice to see that some things are still the same. There's one thing you can always count on, and that's that Vegeta will be well, Vegeta. Vegeta shoos the others off with his hand. "You three can do whatever you want for the time being." Your brother turns to you. "Follow me. There's something I want to show you."
Vegeta walks into his room with you in tow. He moves straight into a corner of the room, which seems to have some sort of bag on the floor. He kneels down, rummaging through the duffle. It takes him a bit, but he finally finds what he's looking for. "I found this a while ago and figured you'd want it." He stands up, flipping back toward you. You can now see the object in his hands. It's a book. He moves back over to you, handing you the novel.
You take it, observing the cover carefully. From what you can gather just from the front, it's all about domesticated animals. Well, the book calls them pets. You didn't have those on planet Vegeta. "Thanks, Vegeta." Your face falls as you hand the book back to him. "But I don't have time for childish stuff like that anymore." Vegeta's mouth hangs ajar as he stares at you like you've grown another head. "I'm going to go to my room now, okay?" Vegeta stands still, unable to move as you leave his room, heading directly into your own.
Vegeta snaps out of his trance, moving quickly toward the doorway. Where he can see Raditz struggling to choose between two rooms. "Raditz!" The taller boy turns around. "What the hell happened this past year?"
Raditz's brows crinkle. "What do you mean?"
"Y/N's acting strange. She's not behaving like herself."
"It's just been a long day, Vegeta." Raditz sighs. "She's probably just tired." No. Vegeta doesn't care how long you've been apart. He knows that something is wrong. Something has changed. And not in a good way.
In typical Vegeta fashion, he storms into your room, slamming the door shut behind him. He finds you on your bed. You're lying on your stomach, with your face buried in a pillow. He treads carefully, moving closer to you. "Y/N--- tell me what's going on." He now hovers right over you, his eyes filled with concern.
"Nothing." You mumble into the pillow. "Just sleepy."
"Y/N---" He moves a hand into your hair, stroking it comfortingly. "I'm not going to yell. Just tell me. If--- If you did something you shouldn't have, we can figure it out together."
"That's not it." You sigh. "It's just time for me to grow up." You move your head to the side to look at your brother. "It's time for me to start taking things seriously. Like you do."
"No. That isn't your job." He says sternly. "Your job is to give everyone shit and do the things you enjoy. Like reading those dumb books, you love so much."
"But--- everything going on here is so complicated. And now we have to deal with Lord Frieza."
"And it's my job to worry about that, not yours. We're all together now. You don't have to worry anymore. I'll deal with all the difficult stuff from now on, alright? All our burdens are mine, and mine alone."
"Okay, Vegeta." You nod. For the first time in over a year, you can finally let your guard down completely. "I---" You sob. "I--- I dont--- I wanna go home." You know it's stupid. You don't have a home to go back to. You're just so exhausted. And maybe, just maybe, a little scared too.
"I know." He moves a hand to your face, wiping away your tears. "Listen to me. When we're older and back at the top of the food chain. I'll conquer whichever planet you want. And that can be our new home."
You stare up at him through tear-filled eyes, your voice cracking. "Promise?"
"Of course. I'll make sure you'll have whatever you want, baby sister. Anything and everything." He wipes a few more stray tears off your face. "Now get some sleep." He moves over to the edge of your bed, placing the book on your mattress before leaving the room. Vegeta knows something happened to you, but he doesn't want to upset you any further. And honestly, he's just happy to have you back, right by his side, where you belong.
Your eyes snap open, your head darting toward the massive spike in power. Frieza's energy has elevated significantly. Did he--- Did he transform again? But his new power level is on a whole other planet compared to his previous form. Did you miss one of his transformations? Wait--- there's an energy source missing. The loss is so small you barely noticed it. Frieza must have killed someone. But who? The Namekian child? He went after the weakest being in the group. But why? A scare tactic, maybe? Frieza does like being unnecessarily cruel. What else did you miss when your mind was elsewhere? You knew you should've stayed focused, but you needed to escape, even if it was only for a little bit.
Now Frieza is fighting someone as well. This is so frustrating. Your eyes are much more accurate than this dumb energy-sensing technique. You wish you could see what was happening. It takes you a moment, but you're finally able to recognize Frieza's adversary as Vegeta. How the hell did your brother get so much stronger? You barely even recognized his power level. Vegeta wasn't nearly that strong when you saw him last. You're more confused than you've ever been. Last time you checked, Saiyans don't just magically get stronger without dedicated training or a massive injury. Something isn't adding up.
Even though Vegeta's significantly stronger, you know it's not enough. He doesn't stand a chance against Frieza alone. Your eyes land back onto the healing chamber, well rather the man inside. "Come on, Kakarot." You mutter to yourself. "Hurry the fuck up." With every second that passes, you become more frantic. Vegeta's power level is dropping, and it's dropping fast. You don't like this. Should you go back to the battlefield? You run a hand through your hair, trying to calm your nerves. But it feels like your brain is moving a thousand miles a second. You can't just stand here while Frieza manhandles your brother. But what help would you be? You're strong--- but you know your power isn't enough to even stand a chance against Frieza. And if your wound opens back up, it's game over. You need time to weigh the pros and cons. Time that you don't have.
You need to make a decision. You know Vegeta wouldn't want you to get involved, but---- before you can even finish your thought, bright red lights flash in the room. You move your attention back onto the healing chamber. Finally! Kakarot's done. You walk to the control panel, mashing the buttons to release him. With one last push of a button, the door opens. "It's about time, Kakarot. You have a nasty habit of showing up late, don't you?" Immediately as he steps into the room, your breath hitches. You're at a loss for words. You carefully observe the man in front of you, watching the water-like substance drip off his sculpted body. He looks the same, but he feels so different. He's like a whole new man.
His energy has changed entirely. You can't wrap your brain around it. You can't even formulate the words to describe what's different about Goku. But you know that you've never seen anything like this before.
"Y/N?" You're snapped back to reality by Goku waving a hand in front of your face. "Are you alright?"
"Mhm." You nod, still unable to form a coherent sentence. It's like he put a spell on you. One that makes you hear the rapid thumping of your heart in your ears. And sets your entire body aflame with his gaze.
"Are you sure? Cause you're looking at me kinda funny." You gasp, your gaze darting all over the room. You're looking at everything besides the man in front of you. That helps you regain your sanity. Simple, just don't look at Kakarot, and you'll be fine.
"Never better." Keep your words short and sweet, and you'll be able to put up a facade of normalcy.
"If you say so." Goku looks at his hands. "Wow. This is amazing." He's in awe. It's kinda cute, in a sickening sort of way. "We have nothing like that on Earth. It would usually take me weeks to get healed, but that was pretty much instant. It healed me so fast." He looks back at you. "And thanks for coming back to let me out. Even if it wasn't completely your choice." Oh, right. Kakarot heard everything you said to him. Damn it.
"That's not why Vegeta screamed at me to come here." You pat the side of your torso, reminding Goku of your injury.
"Oh, right." He chuckles lightly. "I forgot about that. Do you need help with the healing chamber?"
"No." You scoff. "You'd probably just break something. Or you'd end up locking me in the chamber for a year. I have it----" You cut yourself off, noticing another significant drop in your brother's power level. "I have everything under control. Just go!" He nods, ascending into the air. "And Kakarot, good luck. You're gonna need it." He blasts a hole through the roof before taking off to face Frieza.
The sooner you get healed up, the sooner you can get back to join the others. You still don't like this, but you know it's the smart thing to do. Once you're one hundred percent, you can give Frieza some real hell. You start pressing the buttons again, this time to activate the process. Luckily, you won't be in there as long as Kakarot. You're dealing with something much more minor.
You step into the chamber, and the goo-like substance fills your surroundings. Eww, you shutter. You forgot how gross and slimy this shit is. But you know your slight discomfort will be worth it in the end. Even though you hate this damn machine. During your childhood, you spent many hours in these rust buckets after your training. None of them were pleasant. You take a deep breath, trying to remain calm, as you desperately avoid checking to see how the battle is going. Because if you even look once, you know it'll be all you can think about. You'll drive yourself crazy before you're even close to being healed.
You're not sure how long you've been in the chamber now. Time always seems to disappear when you're in here. The water-like substance in the chamber is supposed to have a tranquil effect, so maybe that's why? You've never felt it, but that might just be tied to all your unpleasant memories of being trapped in healing chambers after being beaten half to death. You just hope you'll be done soon. This might be worse than being trapped for months in a pod, and that's saying a lot.
Your eyes snap open, your breath hitching. That was a mistake. You blink rapidly, trying to get the liquid out of your eyes. Your eyes are on fire, but you ignore the burning. Something's wrong--- it's this unexplainable feeling you have in your gut. You give in to your intuition, focusing on the one area you've been desperately avoiding, the battlefield. When you do, your heart sinks. You've never felt this way in your life. Vegeta's energy isn't just low. It's faintly present. If you didn't know better, you would've mistaken him for an insect. What the hell is going on? Vegeta isn't--- he isn't even fighting back. That isn't like your brother. You can feel his energy getting weaker and weaker. You can't--- you can't just stay here. You know it would be wiser to finish healing. You would be more helpful in the fight against Frieza when you're in top form. But for once--- you don't care. The rational part of your mind has gone blank. You've been spending far too much time with those earthlings. They must be rubbing off on you.
You manage to wiggle your fingers, focusing all your energy on your hand. The liquid in the chamber makes it very difficult to move. You move your hand slightly up. But it feels like there's a weight pulling you back down. You dismiss the feeling, moving your hand parallel to the window. You use all your strength, shooting a blast of energy straight ahead. Shards of glass fly across the room, and the liquid sprays violently out of the chamber, flooding the area. You step out of your former prison, wiping the drops of water off your face. You fling yourself up into the air, speeding through the same hole Goku made not too long ago.
You fly faster than you've ever flown before. You didn't even think that was possible since you're one of the fastest beings in the universe. You don't remember it taking this long to arrive last time. It feels like an eternity. You are so wrapped up in your thoughts that you almost fly past everyone. You almost missed Frieza's massive energy. You're slipping.
Your gaze fixates on the person you are most worried about, Vegeta. He's in worse shape than you thought. You look into your brother's eyes, and you can't believe what you see. Tears. You've never seen Vegeta cry before, not once. Your father even said he didn't cry as a baby. Then you hear something even less likely than Vegeta shedding tears. It's so unbelievable that you thought your ears were deceiving you. He begs Kakarot for help. Vegeta, your brother, one of the most prideful beings to ever exist. Begging someone, no, a third-class Saiyan, a clown-like Kakarot, for help. You can't even wrap your head around it. It feels like you're in some sort of bizarre dream. Or is it a nightmare? You finally notice the gaping hole in your brother's chest. That's--- That's not good.
Vegeta's chest rises and falls. He takes one last shallow breath before his head plops down on the ground, motionless. It's happened. You're now trapped in your worst nightmare. The worst fear of your childhood has come to life. The only thing that was more horrifying than Frieza's existence. Vegeta--- he's just gone. You hear this obnoxious shriek of hysteria. It's loud enough to pierce the eardrums of beings on other planets, planets that are far outside of this solar system. Wait. Did that--- come from you? Did you make that sound? You've never ever made a noise like that in your life.
"Y/N. How nice of you to join us." Frieza's mocking invades your ears, but you don't care. You don't even think your brain registered his taunting. You rush over to Vegeta's side, dropping to your knees.
"V-Vegeta." He looks so weak. So pathetic. As kids, you always looked up to Vegeta, and that's not just because he was taller in stature. Even as adults, you still thought the world of him. Hell, he was your world. Vegeta was always so brave and so strong. He was your hero. As a child, you wanted to be just like him. You idolized him. Sure, you butted heads more often than not, but that's just how you were. Now--- now he's just gone. One second he was here. He was breathing. And now he's not. "No, no, no, no. No! You promised. You promised me!" You were so mad at him only a few minutes ago, wishing him a fate worse than death. Now, you're incoherently sobbing at his side.
The others surrounding you are silent. There are no words that can be said to you at this moment. "And the Saiyan Princess sheds tears for the Prince. How sad. Though, who would've thought you'd be the last one from your bloodline, Y/N. I had my money on Vegeta. I always thought your recklessness would've gotten you killed first." All you can see is red as the freak's grating voice echoes in your mind. "I almost single-handedly wiped out your bloodline too. When I exterminated your dreadful race, I personally took care of your pathetic father. And, I guess you can see what I did to poor Vegeta." Your mind clouds further, deeper shades of red filling your vision. "Too bad I didn't have the chance to get rid of the little one. Some insect probably took care of him." You clench your hand into the ground, digging up clumps of dirt with your hands. "As I recall, you were quite protective over him." You unclench your fist, tears now shamelessly running down your face. "Y/N--- there's no need to cry. Don't worry. You'll see them all again momentarily. Your father, Vegeta, your other brother. I can't seem to remember his name, but I suppose it really doesn't matter. No one who knew him will be around anyway."
"Y/N!" Raditz shouts. "Get the hell out of the way!" Your legs feel like lead. You can't find the energy to move. It's like you've lost your will with Vegeta. Or maybe you're in shock? You snap your eyes shut, preparing yourself for the inevitable. At least it'll be quick.
You can hear the blast incoming like a missile. You knew Frieza would probably be the one to cause your demise, but you didn't think it would be like this. Your eyelids grow heavy as you feel something splatter all over your back. After a few moments, you gain the courage to open your eyes. You look down at your torso, but everything seems fine. Your chest piece is fully intact, and you're not in any pain. You move your hand to your back, wiping off the unknown substance. You observe your hand closely. That's definitely blood. "W-What the hell?" Your voice is inaudible. Not even a faint whisper escapes your lips.
"Well, not who I was aiming for. But I suppose that's one more Saiyan out of the way." Frieza states, with minor irritation.
You turn around to find Raditz, who's fallen onto the ground. "Rad---Raditz!" You shriek, flipping his body back over. "You big fucking idiot! Why would--- why did you do that?"
"Over the years, you've taken so many beatings for me. It's about time I repaid the favor." He chuckles briefly before wincing in pain. "And you know. It's about time I actually did my job for once."
"That's not you're job! It's not your job to protect me." You grimace at him. "At least not anymore."
"Yes, it is. It's what I was tasked with on planet Vegeta. And I'm finally seeing it through." Raditz's eyes begin to droop. "Besides, use your head. Who do you think stands a better chance against that purple freak? Me or you?"
"You must really be losing it." You can tell Raditz is struggling to keep his eyes open, but the stubborn fool is even fighting his own body's natural instincts. "You were always so terrified of Frieza. And now you have no problem running your mouth."
"It's what I do best." Raditz coughs. "Who knew dying fucking hurt so much. Whenever we killed someone, I always thought they were being dramatic. But damn, this sucks."
"Developing a conscience in your final moments?" You can't help but laugh. This fool always knows how to make you feel better, even when he's down.
Raditz chuckles. "Hell no. I'd do it all again." He finally gives in, snapping his eyes closed. "Y/N." He pauses. "Make him pay. For what he did to our planet. Our people. My--- My mother." You run a hand through his wild hair, hushing him.
"I will, Raditz. You don't have to worry about that."
"And--- one more thing, Y/N."
"Damn, you sure have a lot of last requests." He opens his eyes a crack, staring at you through lidded eyes.
"I'm dying! Let me have my moment." You chuckle but decide to let him continue. "Try to get along with Kakarot. Or at least don't kill him. I know his personality is a lot--- but."
You sigh dramatically. "I'll try. But no promises."
Raditz grins one last time. "You know. You've made this entire shitty existence a lot better, Y/N. I can't even picture my life without you in it anymore." His head falls to the ground, his eyes returning to their closed state. You watch him take one final breath, and just like that, he's gone too. Raditz and Vegeta are both dead. There's two more people added to the lengthy list of things Freiza has taken from you.
"Ya, me too, Raditz." You snap your tear-filled eyes shut, a few stray tears rolling down your face. At least with Raditz, you got to say goodbye.
"As loyal as the dog that he was till the end. How pathetic." You finally stand up, clenching your fists. "Now, Y/N. I'd love to see how you plan to make me pay."
Goku walks to stand beside you. It looks like he's going to move over to Frieza, but you raise your hand, stopping him dead in his tracks. "He's mine, Kakarot." You practically growl. Goku wants to get involved, but the expression on your face makes his blood run cold.
The two of you stare at each other for some time as if you are communicating telepathically. Goku shuts his eyes, nodding. "Alright, Y/N." He moves back to stand beside the others who are staring at him, horrified. Goku backing down from a fight is unheard of. All you needed was a few minutes, and you could make him stand down completely. It's like you're some sort of Goku whisperer. Krillin sure wishes he had that ability. That would've saved him a lot of trouble over the years.
"After all these years, I don't have to hold back anymore." Your eyes linger between both corpses. "I played nice--- well, as nice as I could. I bit my tongue all this time." Your eyes lock on Vegeta. "Looks like you did me a favor." You smirk. "Now, I don't have to protect Vegeta's ego."
Frieza laughs uncontrollably like it's the most ridiculous thing he's ever heard. "You're even more delusional than that brother of yours. What's next? Are you going to tell me you're a Super Saiyan too?"
"I'm no Super Saiyan." You scoff. "I'm not that strong. But I do have to thank you, Frieza. You did help me become the woman I am today. You underestimated me, just like I expected you to. You played right into my hand."
"How so?" Frieza actually sounds alarmed. There isn't even a hint of amusement in his voice.
"Back when I was little, my father would always tell me how there were things that I was capable of that Vegeta wasn't. I thought he was full of shit. That he was trying to make me feel better about being so mediocre compared to my brother. But I've grown to understand what he meant. Vegeta was always stronger---- but I was smarter, less prideful. Even if I didn't always act like it. I'm sure that's in one of your little reports from your underlings from back when you were scouting planet Vegeta."
"And how did you manipulate me, Y/N?"
"I'm getting to that. I was content with living in my brother's shadow, letting everyone degrade me."
"Are you saying that you're stronger than Vegeta was?" Frieza asks in total disbelief.
"Exactly." You nod. "And it's all because of you, Lord Frieza." You're getting too cocky, but you can't help yourself. "When you'd train me, I'd never let you know how strong I was. Only using half my strength, sometimes even less than that."
"I miscalculated you." He grins eerily. "I applaud you, honestly. That doesn't happen often. But I can tell you right now, I won't be making that mistake again."
"I wouldn't expect anything less." You glance once more at your fallen comrades. If you're going to fight Frieza, you need to be angry.
"Come on then, show me how strong you actually are. I'm assuming you'll be quite manageable." You stretch your arms out, cracking your knuckles. "And that's if you're not bluffing. Cause there's no reason to delay this any longer, Y/N, if you're really as strong as you claim."
You speed toward Frieza, starting your barrage of attacks. Frieza dodges every one. "You know what they say about Saiyans. There's only one thing more dangerous than a Saiyan with damaged pride. And that's a Saiyan with nothing left to lose. And unfortunately for you, I'm the latter." You finally manage to land a blow on Frieza, knocking him back. You and Frieza end up in the air, trading punches back and forth. You're both moving at lightspeed. The others probably can't even track you.
"You've taken everything from me." It all comes bubbling back up. The years of humiliation. The years of bullshit you've had to put up with. The years of being trapped under Frieza's thumb. Bending over backwards to complete his every whim. But even with all of that. Nothing compares to losing Vegeta and Raditz within minutes of each other. Things can only build up for so long. This time you've finally cracked. "You've taken everything!" You shriek. Strong winds form around you, and the ground below begins to shake rapidly. "I'm going to make you regret the day you decided to keep me alive!" You know a way that you can do some real damage to Frieza. You might even be able to kill him, but it's risky.
There's one thing that isn't worth all the strength in the world. And that's losing control. Relinquishing control of your body and actions is the greatest horror you can imagine. But at this point, you're willing to give up everything just to give Frieza a taste of his own medicine. And you know if things go south, Kakarot's here. He'll be able to stop you when things go astray.
You stop dead in the air, flashing Frieza a sinister grin. "It's really not fair." You pout. "You shouldn't be the only one who gets to power up."
"Are you talking about your pathetic monkey transformation?" Frieza cackles. "You know that wouldn't be of any use against me. There's no point in even wasting your time."
You scoff. "No, I'm talking about something even better." You land back onto the ground, and Frieza quickly follows.
"Well, if it's so great, show me." You have to channel all your anger. It shouldn't be too hard. Everything that freak has ever done, all of the pain he's caused you, flashes through your mind. "Come on, I'm waiting." You glance back one last time at what's left of Raditz and Vegeta. You clench your fists, gritting your teeth. You huff and puff as fresh tears stream down your face. You scream, similar to the way when you saw Vegeta.
The ground beneath you shakes, and rapid winds form around you as your piercing shriek only elevates. Your power level, which was once undetectable, now skyrockets. But it's not enough to scare Frieza. "You Saiyans are always so dramatic. So far, this is quite the underwhelming performance." Frieza yawns dramatically. "It's putting me to sleep. You know what. After I'm done with this planet. I'll do a sweep around the galaxy for the last of King Vegeta's offspring. In the rare chance that he did survive, that is. I want to nip this Saiyan problem in the butt for good. I sware you're like roaches. You kill one, and four more pop up in its place."
You spent the majority of your childhood protecting Tarble from the wrath of anyone that came his way. Frieza going after you is one thing. But Tarble is a whole other story. Your brother being alive is this invasive thought that pops up in your mind now and again. You know it's incredibly unlikely. You always did everything for him. Even if it's hypothetical, even if you believe he's dead. You've never let a single being lay a hand on your twin, and you sure as hell won't let it start happening now.
Your screaming only amplifies as the entirety of the planet quakes. Violent waves form in the waters of Namek as strong winds take over the atmosphere. You're so wrapped up in your rage that you can't hear the conversations of the earthlings. You can't even see the rising panic on Frieza's features. The color of your irises drains, the entirety of your eyes turning into a glowing white before becoming a vibrant teal. Your hair hovers into the air, turning into a shade of gold. You chuckle deeply, twisting a strand of your hair. "Not what I was trying to do. But this works too."
Frieza's eyes bulge out of his head. "Are you claiming to have another form?!"
The world around you has stilled. It's returned back to normalcy. "Looks like that old legend was true after all. I always thought it was one of those old wives' tales that was told to Saiyan children to scare them into not skipping training." If only your father could see you now. He'd be proud.
"You're--- You're a. No! It's not possible!" Frieza's panic grows more incoherent with every word. "You're a Super Saiyan!"
"Wow!" Gohan gasps in awe. "I've never seen anything like that before." Why does the brat sound so cheery? One happy-go-lucky buffoon is more than enough.
You move towards Frieza. Even if you can't defeat him, the way he's looking at you is enough to satisfy you. You've never seen the great Lord Frieza fearful before. "Come on then, let's get this show on the road." You and Frieza get straight back into it, destroying any terrain that crosses your path. Nothing gets your blood pumping more than a good fight. Well, that was until recently. Kakarot has the same effect on you, but that's something you consider an undesirable nuisance. "I'm going to make you pay! For everything you've done to me---- to my people!" Your emotions in this form seem to run even more rampant than usual.
You punch Freiza into the air. "That's for my planet!" You teleport behind him, smacking Frieza back toward the ground. "My people!" Right before he can hit the ground, you grab him by the neck. You tighten your grip, restricting his airflow. "This one's for me." You toss him back into the air like it's nothing. This time you stay on the ground, lifting your index finger. You create a bright blue beam with your finger. "And this is for my father!" You shoot a beam of light at him, slicing his tail in two. To Frieza, that's the worst attack you've done all day. Before he can react, you speed towards him, grabbing his arm. You swing him around like a fan, tossing him back into the sky. "That's for Raditz!" Frieza now hovers in the air, slightly dazed. You create a giant blinding ball of energy. "And this one! This one is for Vegeta!" You send the orb straight to Frieza, blasting him into the ground. The bright light disappears, revealing the giant crater you've made.
Frieza lays still in the hole, not moving a muscle. "Is he?" You cut Krillin off before he can even continue his foolishness.
"Don't be stupid! You really think a little blast like that could put down Frieza?"
Frieza stands back up, cracking his neck. His expression is grim. It makes your stomach churn. "Are you done with your little tantrum? Without Vegeta, there's no one to keep you in check." He huffs, looking at his back, swaying what's left of his tail. "Though I intend to make you pay for what you did to my tail."
The fight continues. You never thought you'd be able to hold your own against Frieza for this long. This form is amazing. Too bad you won't be able to truly appreciate your newfound strength. Frieza kicks you full force in the one spot you desperately hoped he'd miss. The second he did, you knew you were in trouble. Your wound opened back up. "Fuck!" You fall to your knees, wincing in pain. One hit, which usually wouldn't even make you flinch, takes you out of commission. Your hair falls limp, returning to its normal shade, and your eyes do the same.
"So one blow to the torso takes out the mighty Super Saiyan completely." Frieza chuckles. "Looks like I had nothing to fear after all." He notices you gripping your side. "Oh, so that's why you weren't here. You're injured. That Super Saiyan form of yours could've been quite the problem. But I guess there's no need to worry now." He flies down to the ground, standing right in front of you. "Any last words?" You look up at him, and with all the energy you can muster, you spit in his face.
Frieza narrows his eyes, wiping your saliva off his eyelid. "I'm sure you're excited to join the rest of your race in hell."
You can't open your eyes. The blow you took must have made your injury even worse than it was before. Burter must be staring up at you from hell, laughing his ass off about indirectly taking you out. In your final moments, you're so weak. You always thought you'd go out in a blaze of glory. "Can't wait. I'm sure I'll see you there real soon too. There must be lots of people down there that are anxiously anticipating your arrival."
It's not like Frieza to draw things out this long. He doesn't like to play with his victims for extended periods. "That's enough." You've never heard Kakarot sound so serious before. You manage to open your eyes, and you can't believe it. Goku's right in front of that monster, holding Frieza's wrist tightly. There's no hesitation, Kakrot's fearless. Goku teleports over to you, picking you up like you're weightless. For someone so powerful, he's surprisingly gentle. "Don't make that face at me." You're not--- okay, you're glaring at him, but Kakrot deserves it. "You're lucky, Y/N. I don't usually let people fight before me when I'm able to. But this seemed really important to you."
"Fuck you---Kakarot!" He's grinning at you. Why does he always do that? It's so infuriating.
"Would you have rather me let Frieza kill you?" He carries you over to the others.
"Yes."
"Well, too bad!" He carefully places you on the ground. "You stay here with the others. Let me take care of everything, okay?" He turns to his son. "Gohan, take care of Y/N. Make sure she doesn't get hurt any worse."
"I hope Frieza slaughters you." You snarl.
"You don't mean that." He chuckles, smiling warmly at you. He turns to Frieza, his expression turning ice cold. "I'm going to make you pay! For everything you've done! For every one you've hurt!" And there he goes again. With his whole selfless hero act. This is nauseating. You wish you were dead.

I have a request! Remember the scene in the movie where Paragus uses the shock collar on Broly? Well, can I request a short one shot where he uses the collar, & the reader comforts Broly when the two are alone? Maybe a timeskip to his battle with Goku, where he sees the reader & calms down upon remembering the kindness she showed him? Please??
author's note: i hope you've been enjoying these! i assume you're the same anon since my only requests have been broly lol i ended up feeling very lovey for broly as i wrote this, as you'll find out when you read! i'm not sorry for being a romantic sometimes :p i created a bit of a new species in this and may expand on it in the future! i didn't expand on it very much so i apologize! i also have changed the prompt just a tad, as far as the timing goes when Broly calms down. also i'm very tired but wanted to write this story so if things don't make sense i am very sorry
pairing: broly x fem!reader
warnings: parental abuse, shock torture (as it is in canon)
Solace | Broly x Reader |

Broly sits by himself in an empty room, having managed to get away from his father and his new acquaintances. His father had shocked him again, but he couldn't understand why his father couldn't see what that awful man was trying to do. Broly had never voiced it to Paragus, he hardly ever even wanted to think of it in his own mind, but he hated how his father used that collar on him, and in his heart he harbored those deep feelings of hatred.
He looks up when the door to the room opens, the light flicking on. He immediately looks away from the person at the door, but even in his sadness from being electrocuted again, he takes note of the attractiveness of the stranger.
"This is new." You murmur and step in, setting your chestplate down. "Ah... You're the guy from the cafeteria, right?"
"My name is Broly." He murmurs softly. "Is... This your room?"
"Mhm." You slip off your boots. "You can hide out here though. After what the old guy did, I don't blame you for finding a quiet place to yourself."
Broly's lips quirk to the side. He's not sure what to make of you. You seem to... Be on his side and not agree with his father's actions. Cheelai had also seemed to feel that way. Perhaps... His father was the one in the wrong?
It felt like a sin to think of his father like that.
"Thank you very much." He says after a beat, remembering to mind his manners on his own, for once.
"Don't mention it." You're in your blue under-armor now as you sit at your small round table with him. "You're the only company I've ever had in here."
"How come?" As far as Broly is concerned, you're kind and beautiful, and he would visit you all the time if he were someone living on this ship.
You chuckle to yourself, tapping your nails absentmindedly on the mahogany table. "Because I hate everyone on this damn ship."
"Oh." Broly frowns.
"Not to trauma-dump, but I was sold about ten years ago by my own father and haven't been home since."
"Your father? He... Sold you?"
"Mhm. I didn't even know you could sell a thirty-year-old that doesn't live with you, but he did it anyway."
"I'm sorry he did that." Broly's brows come together in a deep frown.
You laugh a little, and even with his lack of social interaction, Broly knows it's not because you find anything humorous. "It was that or be pillaged by the pirates that invaded us. They were eventually killed by Frieza and that's how I ended up working under him. I only wish to go home."
"... My father told me about my species growing up. He says we're a proud race of warriors."
You nod your head. "What are you?"
"A Saiyan."
Your eyes widen. "Wow. I can't believe there's more of you besides Goku and Vegeta."
Broly looks down at the table. "My father and I were told about... that... when we were discovered..."
"Ah, man... I can't say much about the Saiyans since I was so young when Frieza blew up Planet Vegeta, but I'm sure you would've been a good fit. You look every bit a warrior."
"Really?" He looks into your eyes.
"Sure. Big, tall, with muscles that could break anyone in two... You don't got the scary, pillaging personality though." You wink. "So as far as I can tell... You're a pretty perfect guy."
Broly's cheeks heat up and he could never explain why, but his eyes dart to your chest for just a split second, and you can see just a bit of red on his tanned cheeks. You laugh softly and lean forward a little. "Now that I think about it, have you ever seen a woman until today?"
"I... N-No." Broly mumbles, looking away.
"Hmm. You're an interesting fella, Broly."
"Thank... You?" He's really not sure if that's a good or bad thing, so he figures that erring on the side of using his manners will be best.
"Tell me about you. What's that green pelt you're wearing?"
Broly quietly launches into the story of Ba, of how he was his only friend and how his father ruined it for him. In fact, every story he tells seems to end with Paragus somehow destroying happiness for Broly. At forty-one years of age, it doesn't sound to you like he's ever had one day to enjoy life. And with how horrible that planet he was stuck on was, you weren't surprised. He'd been attacked every day!
Your heart feels a pang of sadness at his story. Oh how you wish to bathe him in the love of your home planet...
You smile a little and stand up, heading to your small chest of drawers and pulling out a small pendant. "I doubt you're gonna be on the ship long, I may not even see you again, so... Here. To remember me." You bring it to him, setting the small thing onto his large palm.
Broly looks up at you for just a few seconds, taking in your smile and sparkling eyes and wondering how someone could be so charming, before looking at what you've gifted to him. It's a small, golden, diamond-shaped pendant on a golden chain, an engraving in the center of what looked like an elegant flower.
Broly rubs his thumb over it. "It's beautiful."
"Thank you. The flower is the one of my people. It can only be found on my planet. I'm sure if I could ever go back home that they'd be everywhere, just waiting to be picked and used for decoration, cooking, medicine..." You look out the window, Broly studying how wistful you look. He wonders what it's like to have a home worth missing, that wasn't uninhabitable and didn't attempt to kill him every day.
Broly holds the pendant back out to you, but you gently close his fist around it and push it to his chest. "Keep it. I'll always have home with me in my memories. And my body." You chuckle softly and pull your undersuit down enough to show him a tattoo at your collarbone of the same flower. "The zantedeschia stays with me always."
Broly reaches his hand out, and you allow him to touch your tattoo. He gently traces the elegant, black outline. "You're warm." He mumbles.
"So are you." You murmur, looking into Broly's curious eyes as he traces the zantedeschia tattoo. "So is Albomaculata."
"Is that your home?"
You nod, putting your hand on top of his. "We're a beautiful species. Home is so lovely, so nurturing, so gentle and romantic and different from anywhere else... We're not fighters." You mutter. "I suppose we're the opposite of Saiyans. We're lovers."
"Saiyans love too." Broly counters gently.
You smile and brush some hair out of his face. "Hmm... That's an interesting thought."
There's a sudden commotion outside, and you hear the voice of the old man from earlier, who you've assumed is Broly's father. You look back at Broly and swipe your finger down his nose playfully. "Guess you'd better go, huh?"
Broly scrunches his nose cutely, but does stand and gently remove his hand from your chest, instead moving it to the shock collar on him. Fear strikes in his eyes. "I.. I should."
"Goodbye, Broly. I hope we meet again."
He moves for the door, and when he turns around one last time, all he sees is your naked silhouette bathed in the light of the bathroom. He blinks slowly, committing the beauty to his memory before stepping out of the room and finding his father.
Tumblr media
Broly's been thrust into battle sometime after he parted ways with you, and he's lost himself in his rage. His father is dead now, and it's probably all his fault. Before him is Gogeta, the fusion of the only other full-blooded Saiyans left.
You watch from the ship, scared for your friend as he faces off against the new challenger. He's losing badly, and it's looking like they'll kill him. And god dammit he doesn't deserve to die like this.
You push the two lower-ranking soldiers away from the Dragon Balls, ignoring their protests as you make your wish to the giant green dragon.
"Save Broly and send us to Albomaculata!"
You close your eyes, and within a flash, you feel yourself surrounded by the warm air of home. You open your eyes and look around for Broly, praying you weren't too late. You then see the glowing form of your new friend, his body smaller now and close to his normal size.
"Broly?" You whisper.
Broly turns with a shout, in between the beast within and his normal, gentle self. You hold your hands up and he pauses, the glowing fluctuating. You take a shaky breath and carefully ease down the undersuit, revealing your tattoo to Broly once again. "Broly... The zantedeschia stays with me always. And it can be with you too... We're on my home planet."
Broly's wide eyes look around and he realizes he's surrounded by several zantedeschia of many colors, ones he's never even seen before in his life. The planet is vibrant and the air around him is so clean and lovely it's intoxicating. He finally relaxes into his base form, falling onto the field of flowers, breathing heavily and still looking around.
"How...?"
You kneel between his legs and hug him tightly. "I made a wish. Those Dragon Balls are pretty handy... But we're here, Broly. My home." You smile, tears in your eyes. "We're safe here."
"You saved me?" Broly whispers, his hand coming to rest on your tattoo again. It's a comfort to him, your warm skin underneath his palm.
"Of course." You murmur. "You deserved so much more... I could only imagine showing you life on Albomaculata. No pain, no suffering... Just beautiful things."
"You are beautiful."
You smile at him and place a blue and white zantedeschia in his hair. He feels hazy and blinks slowly, drunk at the effects of the flowers and the air, not yet used to the romantic aura of the planet. He looks at you and smiles with hooded eyes. "The... zantedeschia is... with me?"
"Yes. And I'm with you too." You whisper, rubbing his chest and coaxing him to sleep. And when he wakes, you'll show him all of the love and life and colors he's missed out on. Your heart is already giddy at the thought of being home again and sharing it with Broly, giving him everything he's missed out on throughout his life.
