song inspo: be without you by mary j. blige

words: 5k
“Ooooh, this some nice white people shit.”
“Alexis!”
Leave it to this girl to always say some out of pocket shit at the wrong time. You offer an apologetic gaze to the workers who cast her an almost strange look at her outburst before elbowing your best friend. “Bitch, would you shut the fuck up.”
She sucks her teeth, offering an excuse versus an explanation. “What I say?” She gestures around the backyard that’s just about fully decorated. “You know black people. We usually got that one nice centerpiece of them big ass balloons and a Sam’s or Costco sheet cake for baby showers. That’s about it.” Rolling your eyes, she just has to add on. “It’s like when we have a funeral, and they done put Grandma Rose in them ghetto ass clouds talking about some sunrise to sunset.”
At that, you have to laugh. “Okay, you not wrong there.”
“I’m never wrong. Duh.”
“Whatever.” You take in once more just the opulent display that Alexis and Kaylah have been working on over the past few weeks. Initially, they wanted to find a venue to rent, but considering this baby shower will only include close friends and family, a venue seemed like too  much. Not to mention that Joe has been adamant about trying to keep this pregnancy as private as possible. Not necessarily from a place of wanting to hide it. No, if that was the case, he wouldn’t have shared some of the maternity pictures you took not even two weeks ago to his Instagram.
Or even some faceless photos of Callie.
But, that’s something he can control. A sharing he has autonomy over and full say in. Paparazzi crashing your baby shower is not, thus the two of you deciding that the shower should just take place at your home.
And given the massive size of not only the actual house but your backyard, it’s a great decision.
“It’s all looking so nice.” Kaylah’s voice enters the conversation as she walks over, clipboard in hand and a smile on her face. “How you doing, mama bear?”
Rolling your eyes, you answer honestly, “feeling big and pregnant.”
“Well….”
“Shut up, Lex,” you mutter, rubbing your belly. “These babies have definitely been kicking my ass with this back and breast pain.”
Granted, being five months pregnant with triplets, it’s an expected sort of discomfort. It’s helped immensely to have a fiancé that’s home and attentive and always willing to do whatever he needs or rather, whatever you need. He’s taken over Callie duties on the evenings where you just feel tired. He cooks most nights, partially because he knows your feet hurt and are swollen usually. But also, that little traitorous little girl of yours has made it clear she prefers daddy’s food over mommy’s food. He’s even gone as far as calling your mom and asking for tips on how to do Callie’s hair, as your ever growing belly has made that a little bit more difficult.
Put simply, he continues to be the perfect man. You couldn’t have asked for a better partner in life.
Kaylah moves closer, hand on your stomach. She, along with other close family and friends, never need to ask. It’s just the strangers who you don’t know that need to stay six feet away at all times. “I can’t believe we’re only four months away from meeting them.”
Alexis shakes her head. “Earth, Wind, and Fire truly have no idea what kind of big ass, loving, chaotic family they’re about to be born into.”
Blowing out a breath, you scold her, “girl, how many times I gotta tell you to stop calling them that?”
“Would you prefer Thing 1, 2, and 3?” No answer is all the answer she needs. “That’s what I thought.” And, of course, she has to just sneak on in there another attempt. “If you would just tell me the sexes—”
“Ain’t happening.” You shut that shit down real fast. “Joe and I already made it clear. We’re not revealing that until the shower.” A special thing kept between yourself, your fiancé, and the child you already share, as Callie was present for your last checkup appointment where you were able to find out the sexes.
“Bitch, the shower is literally tomorrow.”
“And you, along with everyone else, will find out tomorrow then.” Alexis is visibly, playfully annoyed, as Kaylah only laughs.
“I understand. We’re just excited. That’s all.”
And, you get it. The farther along you get in your pregnancy, the more excitement you feel at getting to meet your babies. All the shopping, the setting up of the nurseries (you and Joe decided on two rooms), even the deciding of the names. Even more, it’s been so special to have a partner in all of this. You might not have gotten that with Callie, but you’re damn sure getting it now, and it feels good.
—------
“I don’t know if I should take her to Disney by myself.”
Joe’s seemingly random statement takes you by surprise. Turning to him with a frown, you ask, “what?”
He sighs, also angling his body to you while his focus remains on your belly. “You’re so far along in your pregnancy. Anything could happen.”
“But, it won’t,” you stress, reaching up to palm his cheek. “Joe, I’ll be fine. My mom will be here with me. Both Kaylah and Alexis are less than 15 minutes away. I won’t be alone.” Because that seems to be what he’s thinking. “I want you guys to go. She’s really looking forward to it, and not just because the kid lives and breathes Disney.” Largely thanks to yourself and your mom. “Plus, that’s what she wants for her birthday.”
“Or a puppy.”
“I swear to God, if you or your mini me bring up that damn puppy one more time.”
He chuckles and moves to kiss your temple. “Just don’t want to not be here if you need me…”
“I’ll always need you in one way or another, Joe.” The God’s honest truth. “But, our daughter needs you more, and I want her to get in as much one-one-time with you before the babies arrive and she suddenly has to share you with three siblings.”
He eyes you, recognizing the unspoken concern in your statement. “You still think she’s going to get jealous?”
“I know she is,” you answer, matter-of-factly. “She’s a little kid. A mama and daddy’s girl. It’s natural. We’ll just have to make sure we reassure and look out for any signs.” Though you know not everything can be caught, and kids are sometimes good at hiding what they don’t want their parents to see. Granted, Callie has always been pretty open with you, so you hope that doesn’t change.
As the two of you move back to folding clothes, you find yourself changing the subject, “also, not related, but before my baby brain kicks in, I was thinking, what if I applied for a job at her school?”
It’s something you thought about when you and Joe toured the private school that Ellie attends, a nice, expensive but safe option considering sending Callie to public school in the fall doesn't seem like the best or smartest move.
Working at your daughter’s school is also just something that would make you feel a little better. A new school. A new educational milestone. You wanna support her and be there for her as much as you can.
However, the less than thrilled look on Joe’s face definitely takes you by surprise.
“You’re gonna work?”
It’s such a simple but silly question that makes you scoff quietly, “of course. Why wouldn’t I?”
He shrugs, grabbing another item to fold. A part of you is wondering if you’re even going to have room for the gifts you’ll receive at the baby shower tomorrow. You two have already gotten so many things, clothes especially. “Maybe because we’re about to have three newborns.”
Rolling your eyes, you calmly counter, “No shit. I’m not thinking of going back right away. Maybe next fall. They’ll be one. Callie will be starting first grade, so it would be nice to be working at the place where she, and they, eventually, will be at.”
When he doesn’t say anything, you’re inclined to prompt a follow up when he finally breaks his silence. “I don’t know how that’s supposed to work.”
Frowning, you ask, “what do you mean?”
Joe sighs, an edge in his voice. “You seriously want to go back to work when we’ll have three one year-olds?” And before you can respond, he continues. “Who’s going to stay with them, Y/N? You’ll be working. I’ll be on the road—”
“It’s not like we’ll be working 24/7, Joe. And we’ve got a huge support system here. Your family. Kaylah. Alexis. It’s not like we’re alo—”
“You don't need to be working.”
Silence.
It’s a good minute before you speak again. “Excuse me?”
He blows out a breath, running a hand through his hair that’s down and hanging. “I want you to stay home with the kids full time—”
“Joe.” Cutting him off isn’t the best thing, but your emotion is starting to get the best of you. “You know me. You know damn well that I’m not the stay at home wife type. I’ve worked consistently since I was sixteen years-old, and I’m not about to stop just because you want me to.”
You love what you do. Teaching might be a stressful career, but it’s always been more rewarding than anything. And truth be told, you can’t imagine a life for yourself where you’re not doing it in some capacity.
Joe’s voice is even, his expression stern. “It’s not about me, Y/N. It’s about what’s best for the kids.”
“And if what was truly best for them is for me to be here full time, then I would do that, but it’s not necessary—”
“And that’s where I disagree with you,” he pushes back, angled completely toward you, arms crossed. He shrugs. “I think it is.”
Partially taken back by his stance on this, it still doesn’t prevent you from standing your ground. “Well then, I guess we’re not on the same page here then.”
“Not at all.”
It’s a strange thing, being on such opposite ends of the spectrum. Joe has always matched you so well, and unfortunately, that can include the level of stubbornness. He is never one to back down, but neither are you.
So where does that leave you two?
“Mommy.”
Callie’s quiet voice breaks the intense impasse. Clearing your throat, you turn to her and force a small smile. “What’s up, sis?”
She moves her hands behind her back, teetering up and down on the heels of her feet. “Will you color with me?”
An easy answer if it will get you out of this room that’s suddenly filled with an uncomfortable amount of tension.
“Callie, mommy and I need a few min—”
“Of course, I’ll color with you, baby.” Again, you fully recognize that cutting him off is rude and not the best way to handle this. A petty way, certainly. But, he also knows that when you get pissed off, it’s best to just give you some space.
Even if it’s not the best thing overall.
Not even bothering to look back at him, you walk over and take Callie’s hand, escorting you both out the room with another word.
Left alone with his thoughts, still irked at the conversation as a whole, Joe quickly and easily realizes telling you what he wanted you to do wasn’t the right approach.
He knows he has good reasons for his preferred plan regarding the whole work thing, but he also knows you, or should know you well enough, to know that trying to tell you what to do has never and will never end well.
It’s just he definitely wasn’t expecting your approach and outlook on this job thing, even if it makes sense for your character and what he knows about you. There was just this part of him that was thinking you’d maybe take a couple years off before returning to teaching. Wait until the kids are a little older. That makes most sense to him, and he’s sure if he maybe responded better and was cleared on his reasoning, you’d have been a bit more receptive.
Maybe not have walked out.
Joe’s phone dinging in his pocket prompts him to pull it out.
Megan: Hey there! Just wanted to follow up and let you know the housing and travel arrangements are all finalized.
Megan: Though I’m curious, you requested a house instead of an apartment?
Megan: That’s a lot of room for just one man. 😉
Joe does find the added emoji a little strange, maybe unprofessional by some standards, but it’s the least of his worries right now.
Joe: Thank you for the update. My fiancée and daughter will be coming to visit when I have to stay for a few days for filming. Need the room for them.
And, it’s not set to happen very often, his management working with the film execs for a schedule that’s pretty flexible and allows him to be back home the same day for most of the filming. It’s just those few instances where he has to stay overnight, a couple days even, that he and you decided would be the times where you and Callie would stay with him.
Megan: Oh.
For some reason, Megan's response rubs him the wrong way, which is strange because up until this point, he’s had no issues with the young woman. She’s been professional, helpful, and informative.
Megan: I think it’s so cool how family oriented you are. So freaking sweet.
Joe truly has no idea how to respond to that, because it’s not inherently wrong. If anything, it’s just a compliment, but there’s something about it…
Megan: Anyways, won’t keep ya! Hope you have a great rest of your evening, babe! ❤️
It’s that message, however, that crosses the line, prompting him to reply and remind her of his boundaries.
And her place.
Joe: As you said, I’m very family oriented, so I’d prefer if you didn’t call me that. The emoji is also inappropriate and makes me uncomfortable.
Someone never uncomfortable with setting a boundary, he feels nothing when he sees the typing bubble appear and reappear several times before her response slides in.
Megan: I am SO SO sorry. I’m so used to working with women, so my dialogue is sometimes women coded. Again, my apologies. Have a great evening, Joe.
It’s a response that he appreciates and doesn’t feel the need to respond to. He said what he needed to stay. She apologized and made it right. It’s all water under the bridge.
Joe goes to lock his phone and put it away when a thought crosses his mind.
You have his passcode, are free to go through his phone, not something that you’ve ever done but something he doesn’t care about regardless. However, if you were to go through it for some reason, seeing this exchange could most definitely make you feel some type of way.
And, it’s not that he feels guilty, Joe knows he handled it appropriately and accurately. But, he doesn’t want you getting upset, doesn’t need you experiencing any kind of unnecessary stress.
Something he’s already inadvertently contributed to by not handing your argument a few minutes ago correctly.
None of that is good for you, and especially not for the babies, and when it comes to this pregnancy, he's not taking any risks.
Especially not with you as far along as you are.
Joe ultimately decides to delete the last three texts, letting the conversation stop at the “family oriented” comment from Megan.
Again, he doesn’t need a situation that’s not even a real situation being an issue.
It’s just better this way.
—------
You’re touching up your makeup, about to apply another coat of mascara to add the finishing touches to the complete look for the baby shower when you take a moment to appreciate your appearance. The white dress is beautiful against your melanin, and your mom did the damn thing with your hair. Ultimately deciding to wear your hair natural, mama opted to put it up in a beautiful, fancy updo that perfectly frames and highlights your beat face.
The final product is something stunning and perfect, the ideal look you wanted and were aiming for on this big, special day.
A knock on the bathroom door prompts you to lift your gaze to the mirror where you’re met with the lingering stare of your handsome fiancé.
Taking in his outfit, a white, short sleeved button up shirt, khaki shorts, topped off with white and gold Nike Freeks, a small smile falls on your face. It’s the perfect look for him. So Joe.
He walks in and closes the door behind him, coming to stand behind you. Your eyes shut as he holds you, hand on your bump, head in the crook of your neck.
“You look beautiful,” he compliments with a kiss pressed against your moisturized skin.
“Thank you, baby,” you murmur, reaching up and caressing the back of his head. “I’m sorry….”
“Naw, I’m sorry,” he interrupts in an equal voice, carefully turning you around as looks down with an apologetic countenance. “It wasn’t right for me to try to tell you what to do.”
“Maybe, but I wasn’t exactly trying to be receptive.” Sleeping on it helped you arrive at that realization that with all of the glaring, embarrassing clarity. “I think I’m so used to doing things my way that I forgot it isn’t just about me and what I want, it’s about us and what works for my family.”
“I don’t want to take away from your autonomy, Y/N.”
“I know that, Leati.” Hand moving to palm his face, you remind, “but these babies mean we’re all going to have to adjust one way or another. I might have to take some time off from working full time.”
Because as much as you love what you do, Joe was right in that your kids might need you to be home more. Full time, even. And while it would definitely feel a little off going into a school year and not having a classroom to call yours, taking care of your children and making sure they’re straight would more than fill that void.
“And, I’m going to see about making my part time schedule permanent,” he shares, moving his hand to your hip, giving a gentle squeeze when you open your mouth to protest. “It’s what I want, babe. I told you before, I don’t want to miss anything else.” He leans forward and kisses your forehead, suggesting, “maybe you could do something part time?”
“Maybe.” You shrug, reassuring, “regardless, we’ll figure it out and do what’s best not for you or for me but for our family.”
Because that’s what most important. Doing what’s best not for one but for all of you.
“We will,” he agrees, brushing his lips against yours, “I don’t ever want to go to bed not on good terms again, you understand me?”
Your thighs shouldn’t clench together the way they do at his commanding tone. It’s a serious thing that you agree with, but it’s the combination of his hard body against yours, his cologne invading your senses, and his minty breath against your face that has you pushing back….something.
“Yes, daddy.” A cheeky, double entendre that has his eyes narrowing.
There's something so innocent yet downright filthy as he promises in a darkened voice, “you know Imma fuck the shit out of you when all is said and done today, right?”
Fuck.
More fluttering, even if it’s something you already know. Because it’s been three days, and that’s far too long to go without your favorite pastime.
Hand moving over his crotch, you palm his dick through his pants. “Good, cause mama needs her fill.” Licking your lips, you add, “if we had time, I’d suck your dick right now.”
Because five months pregnant or not, so long as you can find a way to have this man inside of you, that’s exactly what you gon’ do. You both love sex too much to go too long without it. And, you both know the window in which you can realistically be sexually active during this pregnancy is waning, so you’ve gotta make the most of the time you do have.
Joe’s glare is light and teasing. “You such a nasty lil’ thing, you know that?”
Smiling and moving your arms around his neck, you cheekily remind him, “but that’s part of why you love me, ain’t it? Because I match your freak. Because mama loves when daddy puts her in her place. Ties, whips and bondage included….”
“Fuck, Y/N, you tryna make me hard?” A rhetorical but also serious question as he drops his hand to your backside, taking a handful of your supple ass in his big hands. “Want daddy to fuck his pussy with all them people down there and outside waiting for u—”
Several hard knocks on the door followed by a familiar voice. “Mommy! Daddy!” A smile breaks on your face as he closes his eyes, clearly trying to settle himself. “Grandma says it’s time!”
Laughing quietly, you call out, “okay, baby. We’ll be out in a few minutes.”
And, of course, your forever inquisitive child has to ask, “what are you guys doing?”
Joe chuckles and slaps your ass before moving to open the door, a grinning Callie smiling even harder as she looks up at her favorite person. “Daddy!”
Reaching for him, Joe doesn’t hesitate to lean over and pick her up. Your smile grows at the sight of Callie dressed in her adorable white and gold dress, your mom also styling her curls into two big pom poms.
She looks so much like Joe in this moment.
Callie gasps and compliments, “mommy! You look so pretty!”
“Thank you, Callie Bear.” You move over and kiss her cheek, deciding your current look is good enough.
It’s time to celebrate your growing family.
—------
The Baby Shower is something out of a dream.
Beautifully decorated, whites, blues, and pinks spread across your backyard, the aesthetic is very Pinterest aligned and everything you could have imagined for a day meant to celebrate the three lives you’ve created.
Guests including several members of Joe’s family like his mom and sisters, Jon and Josh and their families. Alexis, too, of course. Jadah was invited but unable to make it due to work obligations. Regardless, it’s a wonderful outcome, being surrounded by all the people you love the most here to be with you during this great time in your lives.
It’s a lot of laughter, a ton of great food, a tremendous amount of gifts, and an abundance of love that's felt from the moment you, Joe, and Callie walk out to the sound of Baby by Ashanti playing. Continues as there’s a damn near mass chorus that’s formed when When I See You by Fantasia comes on.
And the classic dances such as the Wobble and Electric Slide to Candy by Cameo that you most definitely get your big and pregnant ass to partake in.
But, one of your favorite parts has to be the photo station, several photos taken of yourself and Joe, various shots of his hands placed protectively over your stomach. Callie joins you for a couple photos as well, though it’s not missed upon you when she makes a face after one of Joe’s sisters jokingly makes a comment to her about “not being the only kiddo in the house anymore.”
It’s something you’ll certainly circle back around to at the end of the party, and it’s a time that’s nearing as the three of you start to kick off the moment everyone has been waiting for.
Joe’s deep voice travels across the spacious yard as he keeps an arm around you, Callie holds onto his shirt and stands on the other side of him. “We just want to thank all of you for taking time out to be here with us today.”
“You already know we weren’t about to miss this,” Trinity shouts.
Jon laughs and adds, “hell no. Can’t remember the last time we had a set of triplets join the family.”
“That’s cause it don’t happen a lot in general,” Alexis chimes, sipping on her Henny. “But Big Di—”
“Like Joe said,” you cut her off, already knowing where that was going. “We’re so happy and blessed to have you all in our lives, and it means the world to us that our children, the babies and Callie, have so many people who love them just as much as we do.”
Because knowing these amazing, wonderful people love your kids, even the ones that haven’t even arrived yet, as much as you and Joe do, truly is the best thing ever.
“But, we all know what ya’ll really wanna know,” Joe chuckles. “You wanna know the genders.”
A round of agreement prompts laughter with someone shouting out “hell yeah!” and Josh saying something about “winning the bet.”
As one of the workers brings over the three sets of balloons and pins, you and Joe make sure Callie has the right one before you take over. “Alright, is everyone ready?”
“Girl, would you hurry up? The new season of Baddies drops tonight!”
“Alexis, shut the hell up,” you laugh, shaking your head before turning to Joe. With a head nod, volume increased, you start with an excited tone, “the first baby is…..” And a small second of intentional delay before you pop the balloon, revealing blue confetti.
More rounds of applause and cheers as Joe proudly announces, “a boy.”
“I knew it!”
“The Tribal Chief got a tribal heir!”
“Whew, sis, start them kegel exercises now!”
When the celebration dies down, Joe and Callie focus on you for your turn. You lift up the balloon as he kicks off this time, “the second baby is….” Another intentional delay followed by a pop, revealing more blue confetti.
Eyes watering, you share loudly and proudly, “another boy!”
The pure excitement on everyone's face, including your mom who has silent tears streaming down her face, has you blotting at your eyes. This moment couldn’t be anymore perfect.
Joe moves to pick up Callie, kissing her cheek, asking, “you ready, Callie Bear?” She nods with excitement, you and Joe speaking in synchronization as you stand close to him with your hand on his stomach, “and the third baby is…..” Callie counts to three, closes her eyes, and pops the balloon.
And as pink confetti blends with the blue, she shouts with all the happiness, “a baby girl!”
The crowd of family and friends is the loudest during the last and final reaction, deepening your happiness, mimicking that of which was felt when Dr. Young revealed the sexes to you at your last appointment.
Two boys and one girl is literally perfect.
Your little family truly is truly going to be complete.
“And,” you cut through the cheers, one glance at your fiancé and daughter before you continue. “We have another surprise for ya’ll.”
“Don’t tell me there’s a fourth!”
Rolling your eyes at Jon, you cut right to it, “we’ve decided to share the names we’ve picked out.”
Gasps and excitement go around, Joe once again being the one to start off. “The firstborn boy will be named Iosefa Anoa’i.”
Iosefa.
The Samoan variation of the name Joseph.
Gaze on Joe, it fills your heart with so much love to see and hear the pride in his voice and on his face. Having one of your sons named after him is the least you can do for this man.
It’s what he deserves.
Clearing your throat, you provide the second name. “The second baby boy will be named Isaiah Anoa’i.” A strong, Biblical name. A name given in honor of your mom who has always loved said name. A moving gesture she clearly recognizes given the way she places both hands over her heart, mouthing ‘thank you.’
You mouth, 'I love you, too' back as both yourself and Joe redirect your focus to Callie for her big moment.
She giggles when Joe tickles her stomach before yelling, “and my baby sister will be named Moana Anoa’i!”
Deciding on names was such an intimate, thoughtful, moving process, and while they may not be as alike or even common as most triplet names, they mean something to you, Joe, and even Callie, who both yourself and your husband decided to let name her sister.
Callie is your firstborn, special to both of you in ways that you can’t describe, so giving her that only felt right.
And as you re-enter the group of friends and family who have gathered here for this special occasion, you can’t help but imagine what that’s going to be like when it happens again. On a different day. For a different reason. A year or so away, when you stand before them and God and take the man who completes you as your better half.
A beautiful day indeed, even if it’s more for show and aesthetic anyway.
Because unbeknownst to most of the guests, outside of Callie, your mom, and Joe’s mom, you have an appointment at the courthouse tomorrow morning at 10am sharp.
Because after tomorrow, not only will you and Joe Anoa’i share children.
You’ll share last names.
Because tomorrow is your wedding day.
You’ll officially be Mrs. Y/N Anoa’i.

King of the Day!
Hello and welcome to my Christmas AUvent Calendar! Every day from now until the 24th I will be posting a ficlet that is 500-1500 from an AU I've done over the years.
All stories will be marked with the tag #12 aus of christmas so you can follow along as I will only be tagging my permanent list for this (it would get too confusing otherwise).
The last one on our list is: Steve is Tattoo Artist verse. You can read the story here. All links will be to the first chapter, but the chapter itself will have links to the rest of the story.
The title comes from the European tradition of if the [insert object here] in the cake you were king for the day (I learned about it in my French three decades ago so if I got wrong sorry!).
Day 1 Day 2 Day 3 Day 4 Day 5 Day 6 Day 7 Day 8 Day 9 Day 10 Day 11
~
Steve was facing the dilemma of topping Eddie’s Christmas from last year. Where his band Corroded Coffin got their first gold record, which had gone platinum earlier this year. But if everything went right and Gareth didn’t forget his present to Eddie then he might just win.
But as it was right at that moment it was a disaster.
“What do you mean you lost my order?” Steve asked through gritted teeth. “I called confirmed it only yesterday and every week for the last three weeks!”
He pinched the bridge of his nose. “Are you sure you’re spelling ‘Buckley’ correctly? It’s B-U-C-K-L-E-Y. Yes with an E. Thank you!”
“No ma’am, I’m not saying that you’re dumb or anything of the sort,” he continued dryly. “I just wanted to make sure it was going to be here on time. It’s already out for delivery. Thank you!”
He set the receiver gently in its cradle and then picked it back up again. Once he heard the dial tone he slammed it several times for good measure.
“You do know that I’ve done this for the last five years,” Robin snarked from the entrance to tattoo shop, “as my job. I don’t know why you won’t let me do it for this.” She walked into the shop and leaned against the counter. “You’re just stressing yourself out over nothing.”
Steve laid his head on the desk with a sigh, letting the cool surface calm his rage. “I just wanted to make tonight special.”
She scooped up his hands in hers. “It will be special because he loves you. Now, let’s see it.”
He reached into his pocket and handed her a small red velvet box. She opened it and smiled fondly. It was perfect. It was white gold with ruby in the middle and framed by four black spinel gemstones, two large close to the ruby and two smaller stones on the outside.
Then she slipped it into her pocket. “I’ll just hold on to this for safe keeping. So what is the other thing you’re getting Eddie for Christmas? Because I know this is for after the gift giving.”
“Gareth is bringing it,” Steve said with a sigh. “Eddie is like a little kid looking for presents all the time and knows all my hiding spots.”
Robin laughed, because yeah. Steve’s boyfriend was like a kid when it came with presents, something Wayne had to warn him for when his birthday came up.
“I’ve been texting him nonstop reminding him to bring it,” he continued and then he handed her his phone. “Then he sent me this.”
It was a picture of Gareth in his car, a stack of presents in the passenger seat, and he’s giving the camera the middle finger. The caption read underneath, “I’ve got it! Quit your bitching!”
“Am I supposed to guess which one is yours to Eddie?” she asked rolling her eyes as she handed it back to him.
Steve rolled his eyes and jerk his head forward, holding his hands out like it was obvious. “Like the one wrapped differently then all the others?”
“Oh.”
~
The party was in full swing. Everyone was having fun, the booze was flowing, the food flying off the table and into happy mouths.
“I can’t believe you got me the entire new edition of the D&D manuals,” Eddie huffed, crossing his arms over his chest. “Like how am I supposed to compete with that?”
Steve kissed his cheek. “It’s not a competition, love. Despite what you and Gareth think.”
“Bah!” Eddie said. Then he got shy. “You did like your present, right?”
Steve tilted his to the side. Eddie had gotten him a custom apron that said, “King of this Castle” for him to wear while he was tattooing. “Of course I did. I loved it, baby. Chrissy is already trying to convince Robin and Vickie to get her and Argyle similar ones.”
Eddie shoved his hair in front of his face. “Yeah?”
Steve gently took the strand from him and tucked it behind his ear. “Yeah, sunshine. I promise.”
Robin gave him a pat on his shoulder as she passed by them.
It was time.
He took a deep breath and then grabbed his hand. “There’s one more present for you.”
Eddie cocked his head to the side and then his eyes went wide. “Oh!”
“Last year when I gave you my grandfather’s ring,” Steve said, cupping Eddie’s cheek, “I promised that I would get you a ring that was all your own.” He lifted his left hand. “There is only room for one more.” He tapped the ring finger.
“Stevie...” he breathed.
Suddenly he was aware that everyone was watching them as Steve got down on one knee.
“Would you do the honor of being my husband?” He pulled out the red velvet box Robin had slipped him when she passed.
Eddie held his hands mouth, too overjoyed to speak and nodded. Steve slipped the ring on his finger. It fit perfectly and perfectly fit the rest of Eddie’s rings as Steve intended.
“I love you.”
Eddie pulled him to his feet and kissed him senseless. “Merry Christmas, Stevie.”
A cheer went up as Steve blushed and pressed their foreheads together. “Merry Christmas, Eds.”
“Does this make me the royal consort?” Eddie asked with a grin.
Steve threw his head back and laughed. He loved this man so deeply. “Yeah, babe. You absolute drama queen!”
Everyone laughed.

what fucking makes me want o rip my hair out when it comes to the security guy at work is that i'll even try to COMMUNICATE WITH HIM!!!!! (i know for people like us communication can be difficult & we often need specific clear wording and even then we have layers to peel back) When i cant tell if he's being sarcastic, i'll ask him genuinely, because as ive told him multiple times before the way he says things it literally cannot be interpreted as a joke (even neurotypicals at work have agreed with me in front of him) and always seems like he's being serious. i tell him this all the time and he acts like its fucking funny that im genuinely mad about the fact that he wont communicate back with me. Verbatim i have told him on multiple occasions "i genuinely cant tell when youre being sarcastic or making a joke because your tone is so flat and your face is so serious and deadpan and usually people will laugh or crack a smile a few seconds after the joke but you just stand there not expressing anything, even after i ask if its a joke because i genuinely cant tell"
YET HE CONTINUES TO FUCKING DO IT and then has the fucking GALL to laugh at me or call me gullible or naive when IM LITERALLY TRYING TO COMMUNICATE!!! bitch how tf am i supposed to know whats a joke and whats real when you act like im asking a fucking statue every time you say a lie or joke
#id give him the benefit of the doubt cause i know he's very autistic but doesnt know it#BUT BITCH I LITERALLY HAVE ASKED & TRIED TO COMMUNICATE. NO NUANCE. LITERAL CLEAR COMMUNICATION WITH NO ROOM FOR MISUNDERSTANDING#then he acted like i was fucking stupid for assuming he was lying when he said that he had dinner at tgi fridays with an astronaut#still gives me shit abt it like ''i think its funny that you thought that was a lie'' & i still stand by what i told him that day#''i assumed you were bs-ing bc idk about you but i personally dont know anyone who's actually met an astronaut & you said it like a joke''#IM SO SOS O SO SO T I R E D OF ALL MY COWORKERS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!#not Cam tho. he's cool & at least i can tell when he's being sarcastic & he doesnt try to pull me into his guru cult#i cannot fucking WAIT for the other auditor to finally retire. she's going down to 3 days a week in july & full retirement in june 2025#and im fucking COUNTING the days. ive had to put up with her bs for two years now#and the security guard has been thinking about quitting the security company that our hotel contracts & i keep encouraging him to#as a ''friend''. i just keep saying that if he's not happy he should prioritize that cause he has to look out for himself cause work wont#see i can be nice & offer level-headed advice even if i cant fucking stand someone. really i just want his bigoted ass GONE#he talks about how K (my coworker) doesnt see shes in a cult & in the same breath he preaches to me that im wrong & were all born with sin#ive been SO WELL BEHAVED at work yall dont even know!!!!!#and theres no one to be proud of me for being so brave & so nice & so well-behaved!!!!#ripping tearinig biting evily with my fucking sharp teeth#emma rambles#emma rants#work tag#fuck my stupid baka life tbh

Mama, I’m in love with a criminal 3
Tags: Sukuna x fem!Reader, prisoner!Sukuna, modern au, no curse au, dead dove, vivid descriptions of violence including murder, dark romance trope, read at your own discretion, brief mention of smut at the very end.
Synopsis: Sukuna is in prison because of you. He’s ordered to undergo weekly counseling sessions. Talking to his counselor about you, it's apparent that his obsession with you is quite concerning.
An: Updates with this story are slow because I really care about it, and I want to do it justice.
Session one. | Session two. | Session three.

Each session with Sukuna left the counselor wanting more. He had to give to the prisoner: he was a phenomenal story teller. Sukuna was generally antisocial. He only conversed with others if he felt like he would gain something out of the conversation, but that didn’t mean he wasn’t incredibly charismatic.
Anyone with eyes could tell that Sukuna knew how to work a room to his advantage. Hell, his trial was basically an event for all of his fangirls. He had been turned into an idol by the press.
Unhealthy, sick individuals praised his actions. They edited his mugshots to look all cutesy. It felt like every chronically online young woman wanted to be you in this situation.
People tried finding out your true identity, but your name had been scrubbed from the media completely. Your name was a privilege to know. The counselor merely knew it because he had looked through the warrants and made copies of them before they were sealed away.
The counselor had been busy since his last session with Sukuna. He couldn’t get enough of Sukuna’s story. He went digging, trying to find you or anyone else from Sukuna’s past.
That was when he found out about Jin, Sukuna’s missing twin brother.
Immediately, the counselor had a gut feeling that Sukuna was to blame for this. He wasn’t stereotyping the prisoner, but if anyone went missing or dropped dead around Sukuna… he was usually the one to blame.
So when Sukuna came trudging back into the counselor’s office, shackles and cuffs jingling with each step, the counselor took note of Sukuna’s bloodied knuckles. It seems as if the prisoner had been busy this week too.
“What kind of trouble did you get yourself into?” The counselor asked, promptly skipping all greetings and pleasantries. He and Sukuna were the type of men who loathed small talk anyways.
Sukuna plopped down on the couch, and he let out a hearty laugh from the counselor’s concerns. “Trouble seems to find me, doc.” He answered noncommittally, shrugging his shoulders in nonchalance.
“How so?” The counselor pressed lightly. After his first couple sessions with Sukuna, he had gotten a grasp as to just when to press on and when to back off.
Sukuna eyed his cuffed hands, looking at the dried up blood and scabbed over wounds on his knuckles. “You know newbies always come in looking for something to prove.”
That… made sense. Sukuna was a big man. In fact, he was the biggest man in his pod. The newbie inmates were always looking to fight the biggest fish in the pond to prove something. It never worked in their favor. Usually, they just became the big guy’s bitch.
“I’m surprised they don’t have you in solitary confinement then.” The counselor commented, relaxing in his chair. What an odd thing to do… relax in the face of a heinous criminal. This line of work had definitely jaded the counselor.
“Got out this morning.” He grumbled lowly, not caring to continue on with this conversation any longer. He came to these sessions to relive his memories of you, not to talk about stupid shit like the newbies in the jail.
“Lucky you.” The counselor commented as he flipped through a stack of papers. “Tell me about your brother, Sukuna.”
The pink-haired male immediately gritted his teeth together so hard that it was a wonder how he didn’t shatter them. His muscles tensed, and he eyed the counselor closely, trying to decide whether the counselor had gone mad or not.
“Considering you’re asking me, I assume you already know all about him.” Sukuna answered lowly. His dark gaze was unwavering.
“I only know that his name is Jin, and he’s missing.” The counselor responded. He kept his body language open, so Sukuna would know the he’s telling the truth.
“That’s all you need to know.”
“So, Jin never met mouse?” The counselor gently pressed.
Sukuna’s breath went eerily still as his teeth ground together. His lips twitched into a snarl. If looks could kill like Sukuna did, the counselor would be dead by now. “He did.” He answered shortly, suddenly not such a good story teller.
“You don’t seem like you were very fond of him. Why not?” The counselor asked carefully. He knew if he brought you up again, Sukuna would probably snap… then snap his neck in half, and he valued his neck remaining intact.
“Jin wasn’t the star pupil everyone made him out to be. Only I knew his true nature.” Sukuna replied. He was still tense, but he at least wasn’t on the verge of catching another murder charge. It’s not like it mattered anyways. What’s one more charge? He’s serving life already.
“Everyone treated him like a star pupil?” The counselor asked, clicking his pen to start taking case notes. He was finally getting somewhere this session. Sukuna’s sessions were way too short already. The jail was too afraid of him having too much time to hurt somebody, so he was only allowed to have 20-minute sessions before he was escorted straight back to his pod.
“Tch. Everyone fucking adored him, never spoke an ill word ‘bout him.” Sukuna explained. “Our parents didn’t know they were having twins until after he was born, and I was coming out shortly after. He was the firstborn — the one they were expecting, the one that they cared about. I was just a surprise mistake compared to Jin. They had to scramble to make ends meet.”
The counselor stayed silent for a moment. It was apparent Sukuna likely lacked any parental love or guidance. His parents probably saw him as a burden. That would fuck anyone up in the head.
“Jin was their son. I was the reason for their financial struggles and stress. It didn’t help that Jin apparently came out malnourished as fuck, while I was a healthy baby. I apparently hogged all of the nutrients. It was a wonder why I didn’t just absorb him in the womb. Compared to Jin, my parents thought I was a soul-sucking leech.” Sukuna spoke with very little emotion in his voice. He wasn’t sad or even scorned. It simply just was something he dealt with.
“Did that bother you… seeing Jin receive love from your parents?” The counselor asked, attempting to gain some insight to Sukuna’s feelings on everything.
“Fuck no. I couldn’t care less. It was honestly a blessing that our parents paid me no mind. It made it easier to do whatever the hell I wanted without being bothered.” Sukuna answered confidently. His amused expression slowly coming back to him.
“That four-eyed freak could have our parents’ affection. I only gave a damn about mouse.” He added, picking some lint off of his jumpsuit.
“So, how did Jin meeting mouse lead to him going missing?” The counselor pressed, giving Sukuna a look. He knew this scenario all too well. Sukuna didn’t take well to sharing you, and if Jin got too close to you, well…
“You’re not as stupid as you seem, doc.” Sukuna said with a reserved grin. He leaned his head back against the couch, revealing his sculpted jaw along with his adam’s apple. Sukuna’s neck tattoo was playing peek-a-boo from his jumpsuit.
“Thanks?” The counselor asked with a hesitant scoff, causing Sukuna to grin more.
“You’re skipping a few chapters though.” Sukuna added as he finally found his reprieve in living out his memories with you. “When she was 16, mouse finally opened up to the idea of being mine. It only took a few instances to make her realize she wasn’t getting rid of me, and she sure as hell wasn’t going to find another who cherishes her like I do.”
The counselor knew Sukuna was leaving out key details with his “instances” like… the time he strangled a guy within an inch of his life for asking you out on a date, or the time that he tied down another guy to his motorcycle and drug him down a gravel road for giving you a very romantic valentine’s day gift, OR the time he nearly shoved a tattoo gun into his artist’s eye for hitting on you right in front of him.
“So, you two became official when she was 16?” The counselor prompted as he jotted more notes down on his notepad.
“Nope.” Sukuna replied with a toothy grin to the counselor’s surprise. “We made an oath to each other. Exclusivity. She nor I could see anyone else.” The prisoner explained, only confusing the counselor even more.
“So, you two were committed to each other, but you weren’t… romantically involved?” The counselor asked with furrowed eyebrows. It made no sense for Sukuna’s m.o. Sukuna loved through possession, owning someone. He also didn’t like sharing. There was no reason for him not to make you commit to him romantically.
“Mouse is.. a bit younger than I am by nearly two years. She was 16, and I was about to turn 18 soon. Her birthday fell in that weird timing for school, and I was held back in first grade. That’s how we ended up in the same class.” Sukuna explained, but it still made no sense in the counselor’s mind. “I knew if I made her mine when she was 16, I wouldn’t have wanted to hold back. So, in my oath, I promised to take her and give her all of me when she was 18.”
Now, that made sense.
In Sukuna’s twisted logic and severely skewed morals, he thought he was protecting you by making you wait until you were 18 to finally be official with him.
“That must’ve been hard to wait that long for her.” The counselor commented, unsure of what to say.
Sukuna shot him a warning glare. “I’d wait a century for her.” He responded in a low growl. It was a clear indication to not make anymore comments regarding you in that manner.
The counselor back-tracked, not wanting to lose Sukuna’s feeble trust. “So, what does this have anything to do with Jin?”
Sukuna relaxed with a low huff, and he sat back in his seat as he went back to telling his story. “Jin got whatever the fuck he wanted: money, girls, popularity, and he didn’t like someone having anything he didn’t.” He explained to the counselor.
“Mouse had just recently turned 18. It was our senior prom night, and I had plans to show her exactly how patient and disciplined I had been for two years.”
“You don’t seem like the type to go to prom.” The counselor commented in an amused tone.
“I only went because mouse wanted to go. She wanted one last opportunity at being a normal teenager… whatever that meant.” Sukuna explained. His expression seemed to falter to more of a thoughtful one. The counselor began to wonder if Sukuna ever regretted subjecting you to his depraved nature.
“Jin was, of course, elected prom king. He wouldn’t have accepted less, and some bitches thought it’d be funny to rig the ballot to have mouse win. They wanted to publicly humiliate her while she was on stage, knowing she still struggled talking publicly.” Sukuna went on, and slowly, the pieces started to fit together.
“I was going to create a scene, take the heat away from her, but Jin decided to take manners into his own hands and thank everyone on her behalf… as if he fucking knew her well enough to do that.”
“I was going to try to hold it in. It was just one dance with Jin. Then, I could take her home and claim her. I just had to watch one dance, but Jin knew this would be the only fucking time he had the upper hand on me. It wasn’t enough that he had our parents under his thumb. He wanted the one fucking thing that was mine and mine alone.”
A shiver went up the counselor’s back as he watched Sukuna closely. The prisoner was seething, clenching his cuffed hands together so hard that his knuckles were popping in agony. His jaw was clamped shut as he remembered what it was like to see Jin dance with you.
The counselor had seen Sukuna mad, but this was pure rage.
“What did he do, Sukuna..?” The counselor asked shakily as the air in the room was so tense. The counselor knew that their twenty minutes were coming to an end, but he hoped to god the guards got distracted so Sukuna could finish his story.
Sukuna’s breath was ragged as he recalled the memory. “His hand kept fuckin’ wandering to places it didn’t belong. I couldn’t hear him talkin’ in her ear, but I could read his lips. He was talking about some fucking after party, and he was trying to convince her to ditch his “degenerate freak little brother”. He said he’d show her a good time.”
“I was going to let it slide for the sake of not wanting to ruin mouse’s last night in high school. One fucking dance. I knew mouse wasn’t going to agree to any of that, not after we had promised ourselves to each other, but the fucker was persistent. He grabbed her arm and tried to lead her back to where his table of fucking losers were sat. She tried to pull away, but he knew he was stronger than her.” Sukuna shook his head, picking at the scabs on his knuckles to make himself bleed. It was almost a release from the pure anger he felt as he remembered that night.
“What did you do to him, Sukuna?” The counselor quietly prompted.
Sukuna’s eyes met his, and he bit the side of his cheek for a moment as if he was deciding whether he wanted to admit to yet another crime. He knew he was protected under patient confidentiality, but he had never admitted to Jin’s disappearance — not even to you.
“I dragged him out of the school. There was a pig farm behind the school. The electric fence was made out of metal. The fence posts were sharp on the top. We got to arguing about mouse. He kept asking why I cared about a little piece of ass when I didn’t care about anything else.” Sukuna continued picking at his scabs. His movement was almost compulsive to a degree.
“He said she deserved a normal life — not one that I could give her. He fucking… he fucking called it, said I’d either end up dead or in jail. Then, he made the fucking mistake of saying he’d be there to take good care of her while I’m gone.”
There was a beat of silence between the two. The counselor knew what was coming next, so he braced himself for Sukuna to describe the murder.
“I bashed his fucking head into the metal stake. He immediately died, impaled straight through his brain. I then fed his body to the pigs. I fabricated evidence to make it look like he left prom early to go meet up with a girl down in Shibuya. I buried his bones and teeth down in a graveyard after the groundskeeper inevitably fell asleep while he was on watch.”
The counselor had to bite back the urge to throw up his lunch. The food was crawling up his esophagus. He couldn’t even formulate the words to say in response. Sukuna was truly a monster for you. He had killed his own flesh and blood for insinuating that he could take you away from him.
That wasn’t even why he was caught. Jin was still on the missing persons list. His remains had never been recovered. His parents likely mourned Jin, and they had no idea it was their other son who killed him.
Sukuna leaned in, speaking with a feral grin. “I went back to mouse in the early hours of the morning, took a long shower, and fucked her until dawn, making sure she knew inside and out who the fuck she belongs to.”
“Ryomen! Times up! Let’s go!” The buzzer rang loudly in the counselor’s office, causing for him to flinch in his seat.
The counselor should’ve known better than to go digging around in Sukuna’s past. He got what he asked for. He knew that he would have to delve in to the murder that actually got him caught next session, and that terrified him even more.

Tumblr media
its about 11pm on a friday, 'means girls' is playing on your living room tv while you were in the kitchen searching for a pot to put your noodles in. your parents left for their business trip to wherever, you weren't really paying attention after they mentioned you'll be alone for two weeks and that you had a spending allowance of 5k, which is why you were wearing your new black lingerie set under your fuzzy pink robe.
you were humming a song as you head to the pantry to get a bottle of water to fill the pot with until you heard your phone ringtone go off. you went to mute the tv and grabbed your phone, tapping the answer button. you held the phone up to your ear but you're met with silence.
"hello?~" you questioned, dragging out the word. it was a habit of yours when you were annoyed,
"didn't think you'd pick up." the voice was cheerful, too cheerful to the point where it had you furrow your eyebrows trying figure out who's calling you at this time.
"well, i did. so.." you responded with a little bit of attitude. you were starving and here this stranger is playing on your phone. "listen, who the hell are you and what do you want?" you raise your voice a octave.
"your tits look good in that bra, wish i can see the way your ass looks in the panties." you furrow your eyebrows once more. every window was locked and your curtains blocked any prying eyes from seeing inside.
"um—you must've gotten the wrong number or something. i'm hanging up now." you smile half heartedly, trying to wrap things up, whoever this girl is can probably hear your labored breathing.
"hang up this fuckin' phone and i’m killing you myself!" she quickly responded, you froze immediately. especially after hearing some sort of bang coming from upstairs, “not so tought without your friends here, hm y/n?"
you were assuming this was a silly halloween prank call but she knows you personally! she knows your friends and even your name—you can admit that you were a bitch to most people but you didn't think that someone would break in and kill you for it!
"w-what kinda joke is this? this isn’t funny!" you let out a nervous laugh. no way this is fucking real, this is just a prank, right?
the person lets out a hysterical laugh—almost like she’s gone crazy. "you think this is a joke? was it a joke when you make every single day a living hell for me?" she asked but you remained silent, "now you wanna act like a scared little girl? don't you think its time to get what you deserve?" she asks.
the amount of people you’ve been a bitch too, its hard to guess who this person was. the fact that this persons voice was low and raspy to the point where you couldn’t even identify who’s voice this is didn’t help you either.
"i think we should play a game. i’d advice you listen, if you want to live that is." you can hear her smiling through the phone.
your heart is racing now, you have a gut feeling that this person is in the big ass house somewhere and that promise of her killing you is haunting you.
"fine. what's this game?" you try to put on that tough façade, still holding onto your pride.
"go upstairs. into your room." she commands you and you hate it but all you can do now is obey her words.
you grip your phone tighter and walk up the stairs—just like she said. you walk into your room. your pink led illuminated the room.
"good girl~ now, strip." her praise breaks the silence.
"what?" you whispered in disbelief.
"you heard me, don't make me do it for you."
you sigh, you really aren't sure why she wants you to strip for her. maybe to humiliate you on the internet on something but you comply to her demand, untying your robe and letting it drop to the floor. you stand, praying that’s all she meant when she said strip.
"do you not know what strip mean, bitch?" she questions, noticing that you're just standing there.
you stay silent, tears were beginning to form in your eyes and you let out a whimper, “why? are you some kinda sick pervert?” you demand, looking around the room.
it was silent for a while, it was like she hung up the phone on you. your heart was racing, you were getting anxious, “hello! where are you!? who are you!?” you cry out.
as soon as you asked that your closet door opened, revealing a figure dressed up like ghostface charging right at you. you let out a loud scream, backing up into the wall but the figure used that to her advantage, her long hands engulfed your neck, pushing your head into the wall and tightening the grip, forcing a strangled whine to fall from your mouth as you gasp for air desperately.
tears began to fall from your cheeks, your hands came up to hold her wrists before hitting them, desperately trying to pry them off your neck. she swiftly slapped you right across your face and manhandled your frail body on your bed, choked whines coming from you in the process.
“you look so cute like this, crying and at my mercy.” her tall body straddled yours, under her coat and her skirt, you can feel her bulge on your tummy. no way she’s hard from this.
if you were gonna die like this you might as well see who this sicko is, you removed your hands from the hands that were on your neck and you reached up to the ghost mask, removing it from their head. your eyes widen when you realized who it was. wonyoung.
her soulless eyes looked down at yours, a smile slowly found its way onto her face which made shivers run down your spine. she removed her grip on your neck, but still remained ontop of you.
you inhaled air almost immediately, trying to catch your breath before you can question the girl. but before you could even speak, she held a butcher knife right under your chin, “don’t scream or move.” she spoke menacingly.
“since you can’t seem to follow orders i’ll force you to,” she sighs. she starts to slowly move her knife down to your shaking body. the metal causing goosebumps to awake on your body. she trailed down until she got to your bra, she easily sliced it in half with her knife. “hey! i just bought this!” you spat, your first time wearing this set and it’s already ruined? this really isn’t your night.
“shut up, whore.” she’s quick to bring the knife back to your neck, pressing down on it but not enough to draw blood.
your bottom lips quivers which makes her coo before she gets off your tummy and flips your body over. you yelp in surprise with how easy she’s moving your body.
before you can complain she’s pushing your head into the sheets and placing the palm of her hand to your back, forcing you to arch your ass up in the air. to position muffled anything that you might’ve said and you felt your heart drop when you feel her bulge prodding against your ass.
wonyoung slices your panties as well before placing the knife in her mask. she pulls her boxers down along with her miniskirt. she giggles as she hovers over you of you, large hands pinning yours to the bed before she leans into your ear with a wicked grin.
“i’m going to make you scream.”
“w-wait!” you quickly retort squirming under her iron grip.
she wastes no time before she pushes her cock deep inside your virgin cunt.
it was like the wind got knocked out of you. you can't even make a sound, all you can concentrate on is the burn on your hole being stretched out. she had just pushed in and her cock is already kissing at your cervix, just how big is this girls cock?
wonyoung harshly gripped your hips and pulled out until her cock head was the only length left inside you before violently thrusting forward, letting out a long groan at the satisfaction. her hands left your back to grab your wrists to hold them behind your back, and forcefully yanking you back down onto her cock. she wasn't letting you get out of this anytime soon.
she was using your body like you were her human sized sex doll. drool was running down your chin and down to the valley of your tits and your eyes were crossed over, "for someone that hasn't taken a real dick before--you take it like a cock drunk whore." wonyoung muttered loud enough for you to hear. if you hadn't been too busy cryin' n moanin' on her dick, you would've made a snarky comeback.
she's never heard your voice become this high-pitched but she wasn't complaining, "s-so big! y-you're gonna break me!!" you whined through your tears.
"and you're gonna keep taking it all in your little cunt. even after i impregnate you." wonyoung quickly agreed to your statement, shooting three spurts of cum into your cunt.
you thought she'd be done but her hips never stopped smacking into yours, instead, she flipped you over into missionary. she swiftly picked up your left leg, placing it on her shoulder to reach a deep angle.
she continued to drill into your cum-stuffed pussy, her cock heavily throbbing inside you due to just seeing the lewd sight below her, "like being fucked by a killer, gonna cum all over me?"
"uh-huhh~" your eyes rolled back and your body began to shake. she took one of you tits that's bouncing with her thrust into your mouth, earning a loud moan from you. you suddenly felt a little funny, almost like you had to pee? your body soon went limp before you let out a whiny moan, squirting all over her dick and pelvis.
"at first i was just gonna fuck you and then kill her." she pulls out of your sloppy pussy and grabbed her knife. you flinch at these words, a bit terrified of what was gonna happen next, "but i think i'll make you my cute cock sleeve."

Eeek I love your writing it makes me so 🫶🫶🫶 Can I make a request?
If you do angst to comfort, can you make reader waiting for Alastor to come back (they're married) for seven years? Reader's friends has been pushing them to have a new lover—introducing them to new demons or overlords that the reader might like, but the reader only loves one; which is Alastor. Until Vox made the news that he was back, for months, without looking for the reader. Which makes the reader think Alastor doesn't love them anymore and tries to not be in his attention whenever they meet and pretends to not know him. What will Alastor do? :3 Thank yous!!!
Oh man...that ANGST!!!
Alastor X Reader Headcanons
✅️Romantic
❌️Platonic
Tumblr media
TW: Reader is sad, Suggestive
Description: ☝️⬆️
When Alastor first dissappears, you assume he's just busy and will be back by the end of the day
And then you wake up alone...so maybe he'll be back tomorrow. Tomorrow turns into a week, a week turns into a month...
He's just gone, suddenly ripped away from you without warning and you didn't even get a proper goodbye
So you search for him, you ask everyone if they've seen him or heard about his whereabouts
You even ask Vox if he managed to kill your husband, knowing the TV head wouldn't be able to resist bragging about it
Instead, he looks surprised and uncomfortable with your obvious distress, muttering something about keeping an eye out for you
Rosie is worried too and offers her help but turns up nothing, she does her best to keep an eye on you
You never give up on finding him, knowing that he's alive out there
After the first three years your friends start trying to get you to move on, setting you up with available bachelors
Valentino has offered to help you get over your husband multiple times because he's just such a good guy
You don't give any of them a chance, you had already found the one man you wanted to be with for eternity and married him
He's just not here at the moment
The pain in your heart is just as strong as when you first realized Alastor was missing, crying yourself to sleep nearly every night
The only time you get to see him now is in your dreams, clutching one of his jackets with his scent still on it
You just feel so abandoned...
After the sixth year, your friends try to get you to move or throw out some of Alastor's things but you can't bring yourself to do it
He's going to come back to you, you know it, so you keep your wedding ring on and still present yourself as a married woman
Rosie makes sure you take care of yourself on the days when your sadness swallows you whole
"Wipe away those tears now, have you eaten today? No? I have just the thing for you.."
Seven years go by and nothing has changed for you
You're sad and miserable, running errands when you suddenly pass by an electronics store, seeing Vox on the TV
That's nothing new to you, you almost turn away and keep walking until you hear Vox say something about Alastor
You're suddenly frozen, listening to Vox bitch about Alastor's multiple offenses during these last few months
He's been back...for months..? And hasn't come to see his wife?
You're blinking away hot tears, the air in your lungs going sour and your stomach doing flips
Did Alastor really abandon you like that? You need to go see the one person who you know has been digging into Alastor for as long as you have
Vox literally screams like a child when you're suddenly bursting into his office and grabbing him by his suit
"How long has my FUCKING HUSBAND BEEN BACK!? And why didn't you tell me, Vox!? WHY!?"
"FUCK! Who let you in here!?"
"VOX!" You're shaking him now, making his screen glitch out
"A-at least a couple of months for sure! He's doing something with Lucifer's daughter and a hotel or some shit! I thought you would've been the first to know he was back!"
Vox is relieved when you finally let go of him, fixing his suit before suddenly giving you a cruel grin
"Wait wait wait-don't tell me-he hasn't come to see you this whole time!? You wait all these years for him and he's shacking up with Lucifer's daughter, a porn star and who knows who else!?"
He suddenly stops laughing when you slam his screen into his desk, storming out afterward so he doesn't see the angry tears in your eyes
"Don't get mad at me because he started a new life without you!"
Vox knew exactly which ugly worries to pull out of your head and you let him get to you
But you knew he was right, looking at all the evidence presented to you...it does look like Alastor is starting over
A small part of you is telling you that he's replaced you somehow but you have enough pride to doubt it
But that self pity comes back to bite you that same night, crying harder than you ever have before
By the end of the week, you've convinced yourself that he doesn't love you anymore, that he got bored of you
You still haven't taken off your wedding ring yet
Imagine your surprise when on your way home you bump into Charlie Morningstar, the princess of hell herself
She somehow managed to crash into you and knock down everything you were carrying, making you sigh and bend down to pick it up
"Oh my gosh, I'M SO SORRY!!" 🥺
You mumble something forgiving back to her, still picking up your things when you hear a familiar voice that makes your heart ache
"Charlie, my dear! What sort of mischief have you gotten int-Y/N?"
You're still as beautiful as Alastor remembers, if not even more so
You can hear the surprise in his voice, along with notes of panic and guilt
You just ignore him, gathering the rest of your things before walking in the opposite direction of them, you don't dare look at Alastor
You know you would break down if you did
He doesn't follow you, nor does he follow you the next time you run into him, or the time after that
It hurts you a little more each time, wanting to know if your husband ever loved you at this point
He doesn't know what boundaries to push with you anymore, he just misses you like crazy
Alastor knows he has to do something-
He tries cornering you the next time he sees you, standing in your way
"Y/N, please just let me explain-"
"I don't know who you're talking about, I'm not who you think I am."
He grabs your wrist, eyeing your wedding band with a frustrated expression
"You're wearing our wedding ring..."
"This is the ring my husband gave to me, and I haven't seen him in years."
You rip away your arm and walk away from him, crying to yourself over how much it hurts
You don't see how his ears lay low, and how he watches you with a regretful expression
He wishes he could just tell you everything, wants to run after you and hold you
But his deal doesn't allow it, he wanted to go straight to you when he got back-never wanted to leave you in the first place
But he was also too ashamed to face you, scared to find that you moved on or that you no longer loved him
He hates that he's hurting his wife like this and it sours his mood for weeks afterwards
Charlie and Vaggie start to understand that Alastor's sudden angry attitude always happens whenever he sees you
But they don't know who you are and they're way too afraid to ask Alastor because he's still digging his claws into everything out of anger
Niffty is actually the one who tells them that you're his wife but Husk explains to them that you're probably pissed at him for disappearing
Charlie is crying at the thought of Alastor and his wife being separated, Vaggie having to comfort her
So the two women get to work on finding you themselves, showing up on your doorstep one day and inviting you to the hotel
It takes a lot of coaxing and convincing from them to finally get you to go with them
You're a bit surprised to hear that Alastor is helping with a hotel centered around the idea of redemption
But you figure he's got some sort of angle, he always does
Alastor isn't there when you three arrive, Charlie having talked your ear off about everything Alastor has been doing to help
Which is unlike him, you're immediately suspicious
But you recognize Husk and Niffty, the little woman running to you and crawling all over you in excitement
"Y/N! Y/N! You're here! Are you gonna stay? Is your house messy? Do you have roaches for me to kill~?"
"Hey Y/N, you look like you need a drink.."
You almost start crying then and there, not having realized how much you missed them too, hugging Niffty tight as you take a seat at the bar
It almost feels like old times, the three of you talking late into the night until it's just you and Husker...
He takes a shot and seems to be preparing himself for something, uncomfortable suddenly
"Y/N...there's something I gotta tell you...about your husband..."
You're expecting to hear the worst, to hear that Alastor cheated, to hear that he's seeing someone new
But what Husk tells you is far FAR from that...you don't know whether to be thankful or horrified
Your husband's soul...owned by someone else? Just what did that man get himself into?
You don't even realize you're crying until Husk is awkwardly hugging you, patting your back gently as you cling to him
At some point, you must've fallen asleep because you wake up in an unfamiliar bed, your face buried in Alastor's neck
You almost relax and fall back asleep before your eyes suddenly pop open, jolting up and shoving him away
Even with what Husk told you, you're still mad at him, he never came back to see you
Alastor wakes up fast enough to realize he's falling off the bed, climbing back up with downward facing ears
"We need to talk, darling.."
"What is there to talk about? You don't want a wife anymore, is that it? Is that why you never came to see me?"
He looks so guilty and upset, his smile tense as he looks away, you have to resist the urge to rub his ears
You flinch away at first when he takes your hands before reluctantly letting him hold them, missing him too much to fight it
"I was too ashamed to face you...there's so much I can't tell you and I was...scared that you would be with someone new."
"Do you have any idea how much pain I was in? Alastor, it nearly broke me.."
He has tears pricking in the corners of his eyes, looking away to try and save face as he pulls you in for a tight hug
"Just please...forgive me and let me be your husband again. I'll do everything I can to fix this..."
It doesn't make up for all the pain you felt for seven years but it's definitely a start
You've missed him too much to continue being angry with him, so you just cling to him and cry
You cry until you both fall asleep again, eventually waking up tangled in each other's arms
He's kissing all over your face, ghosting his lips over your eyes, your nose, your forehead, eventually getting to your lips
You suddenly feel so full of emotion, like you could burst with happiness at finally having Alastor again
You had nearly given up hope that you would feel him, taste his lips, or smell his raw scent ever again
You dig your nails into him when he tries to pull away, forcing him to kiss you longer as his hands bruise your hips
You both are panting by the time you pull away, bodies pressed as close as possible out of a need for contact
His voice comes out like static, leaning in for another kiss as gazes at you with loving eyes
"I have missed you...so much..."
You could cry if it weren't for the fact that you were sick of crying, instead rolling yourself on top of him and kissing along his jaw
"You better prove it to me."
His pleased growl followed by claws digging into your clothes answered you well enough
You know he still has a lot to make up for but this is a good start

some safe-for-work headcanons regarding how they might of gone about having sex for the first time for some of my favouritr haikyuu ships:
daisuga: look you know these bitches had it scheduled. not like a meticulous planned thing, but it was definitely something they knew was going to happen in advance. Like they talked about it, agreed they both wanted it, and then 3 weeks later Suga's parents go away for the weekend and they know like a solid week in advance that their "hang out" on Saturday evening is basically exclusively so they can have sex. They're very prepared. This also probably makes that week of training super annoying for the team bc they cant figure out why their captains are being SO overly giggly like you are seventeen/eighteen year old men wtf is going on.
iwaoi: i've always thought they were probably way more nervous than any of their friends assumed and definitely did not have sex as early as people thought. like mattsun and makki both constantly tease them in a way that insinuates they're actively having sex but they probably didnt actually do it until like... the last few months of high school. They were both just nervous! Iwa was very afraid of rushing things and doing it "wrong," and Oikawa wasnt even sure what doing it "right" would be so they had like 6 false-starts before they actually managed it.
ushiten: dorm living is not condusive to intimacy so when for the first time in like 8 months since they started dating that they have a confirmed evening with a locked dorm alone they end up making out for just a crazy amount of time. Tendou is too nervous to actually move anything forward because he's too anxious over the possibility of rejection but he keeps making these weird half-insinuations like "haha I cant believe nobody's going to be back for another four hours... we could do anything and get away with it... isnt that so funny... like nobody would know if we were making out or having sex or just reading a book... haha... isnt that crazy... me and you..." and he's all weird and twitchy about it until Ushijima tells him he doesn't think the idea of them having sex is crazy at all and then it is on immediately.
kuroken: highkey, kuroo probably lays out like a whole romantic, corny ass evening with candles and rose petals and is prepared to have a whole long conversation about being "ready" and Kenma just sort of rolls his eyes and is like "have you finished talking? this is Too Much. I need you to understand this is Too Much. Oh my god I love you but WOW." (it works anyway and Kenma is sufficient wooed).
tsukkiyama: this one might be a little out there but I genuinely think they're the most likely to have it happen by accident, or in a spontaneous moment of opportunity. Like they both intend to just take advantage of the empty house with only a bit of making out and then suddenly they're losing their clothes and it's like "we'll have a conversation about it tomorrow, im sure."
kagehina: okay this one is more stupid but I imagine after they've been dating a while Hinata is like "you know what, im ready to take the next step" but Kageyama cannot read ppl so Hinata's somewhat obvious attempts at seduction go entirely over his head, and Hinata is getting increasingly frustrated and dramatic and trying really really hard to get Kageyama to realize what he wants and it ends up causing a fight between them because Kageyama thinks Hinata is being weird and Hinata thinks Kageyama is being intentionally distant and eventually Kageyama blows up and is like "Oh my god if you want to break up or something just say so!!!" and Hinata is like "Oh my GOD I dont want to break up with you I want to have sex with you!!!" and of course that shuts everyone up and unfortunately Yachi is probably also there and wants to die.

Hey, I recently wandered across your page and I had to indulge.
I was wondering if you could do a sukuna x Dom!(Obviously) Reader - where sukuna's been a bitch all day just to be alone with reader and gets his guts rearranged? It's okay if not, have a good day :pp <3
Tumblr media
I narrowed my eyes watching Sukuna walk past all confidently like nothing was wrong to our bedroom. "I'm so sorry Gojo for his behaviour he must be getting close to his heat. "I apologized smiling lightly though this was expected behavior from him. But ever since we mated he had been less and less bitchy.
"It's all good I was naive to believe his good attitude would last for long, and don't worry I'll give you guys some time off I expect you guys will be busy for a while." He laughed and I smiled I saw Gojo and Geto at the door and immediately made my way upstairs.
"What was all that attitude about downstairs." I glared at him but he didn't falter.
"I don't know what you mean." He shrugged looking away and I moved closer to where he sat on the bed smelling his scent spike.
"You don't ? what a shame I was just going to let you apologize and we can have some fun by guess not." I teased him watching his face fall. "I guess I'll have to call up Nanami."
" That's not fair ! You've been gone for two weeks and then as soon as you come back you invite stupid Gojo over." And that's when it clicked for me my omega had missed me a lot. I grinned and pulled him so he was sitting on my lap.
"I'm sorry 'Kuna I should have known not to invite Gojo and Geto over this close to your heat. "I apologize kissing him on the lips before moving down to his neck. I lifted his shirt up gripping his waist as he moaned on top of me I pulled away to let us undress.
I threw him on the bed and watch his eyes glaze over as I forced him into heat with my pheromones intertwining ours together. I moved my fingers down to his cunt and began to finger him his slick already coating my fingers as he panted.
I pulled them out and stared at him smiling wolfishly as I licked my fingers clean making him shudder. " Ugh [name] that's so gross."
"Gross? Anything that comes from you tastes amazing." I said. " Come on sit on my face." I offered but he shook his head vigorously.
"I'm too heavy though." He said looking nervous at my suggestion.
"Baby I could literally throw you around your the perfect size." I reassured him and he climbed on top he hovered for a bit over my mouth holding himself up nervous. Before I pulled him down to meet my tongue making him let out a squeal.
I began eating him out like I was starving - messily . Leaving now where untouched as he basically rode me. As he came on my tongue I licked him clean. He laid limp and I pulled him off me.
I pulled out my dick as he was already grabbing me ready for another orgasm. I teased him rubbing my head in his cunt. Before pushing it all in at once making him squeeze against me. "Fuck you feel so good around me." I groaned thrusting in and out getting accustomed to the tightness. No matter how much I fucked him he was he always so tight.
I kept fucking him fast hitting his prostate forcing moans out of him.
"You're squeezing me so tight baby. I can feel your walls rippling around me. You gonna cum on my cock again." I smirked down at him he couldn't even focus due to the pleasure.
"Y-yes please let me cum." He cried out as I slithered a hand to his throat choking him lightly.
"But I haven't heard cum yet." I said and he got the hint that I wasnt letting him cum till I did.
"A-alpha I can't I need to cum." He begged.
"Hm I would have thought I trained you better than that? Has your heat gotten to your head to think you 'need' anything that I'm not giving you." I said cruelly still drilling into him. He whimpered at my words.
"You feel that that's how deep I am." I said moving his hand to touch my bulge in him. I threw my head back as I felt myself get close to orgasming I began slowing down the pace. Slowly fucking him as I came in him pulling out before I could knot him.
"Alpha.. knot?" He whined begging me and I had to physically hold back. We had three more days to go I couldn't be tired by the first.
"We've got alot of time ahead of us don't worry." I smirked pulling Sukuna into another kiss .

prompt: IKEA soap/reader fic. PART 4. (read 1, 2, 3) tags: dubcon; nsfw
-
You only realize after the fact that you may have miscalculated in thinking that this could be a one-time thing between the two of you.
After listening to Johnny bitch and moan during the Christmas party about having to take time off work to spend the holidays with his very religious family, you delude yourself into thinking you’ll finally be able to have some peace and quiet around the store. Not literally, of course. Working during the holidays is always a recipe for exhaustion—parents coming in at the last minute to demand toys that have long since sold out, fights breaking out in every other aisle as customers fight for the last palatable set of Christmas ornaments and boxed fruit cake.
You’re not delusional enough to think that work will be a piece of cake, but you are selfishly a little happy that you’ll finally get some time to breathe without Johnny hovering over your shoulder at all hours of your shift. Seasonal shoppers are as exhausting as always, but you get to sit alone in the breakroom with a cup of coffee in the morning right before your shift without someone staring at you or breathing into your personal bubble.
Johnny spends his entire time off blowing up your phone, sending you pictures of his childhood home, calling you during your breaks, and sending you weird videos that seem to have been filmed entirely in the dark where you can’t see or hear anything apart from some weird squeaks and one loud grunt at the very end of the video that sounds kind of like—you close the video.
You spend the first few days of January dreading his return. The day of is like a shock to your nervous system, the whole morning spent pouring coffee with a trembling hand.
“Hiya gorgeous,” he purrs when you clock in for your shift. You’re somewhat used to Johnny sneaking up behind you, so you don’t flinch this time when you feel the length of his body press up against you at the time clock.
“Johnny, it’s seven in the morning,” you mutter out through pursed lips, shoulders stiff when he puts his hands on them and digs his thumbs into the tender points of your back. You bite back a moan.
“Missed ye, kitten. Cannae believe I went a whole week without hearing you purr.”
He could’ve phrased that a thousand other ways, but he just had to choose the one that would make you wince. He digs his thumbs in again, trying to push the moan out of you, but you tamp it down. You hold back a shudder when he plants his nose onto the crown of your head and inhales, drawing your scent into his lungs.
“Where’ye assigned ta today? Jeff owes me a favour—gonna ask him if I can spend the day with ye so we can catch up.”
You go still when he drops a firm kiss to the side of your head. “I’m…not sure. I haven’t checked the schedule yet.” It’s a half-lie. You may not have checked the schedule yet, but you know from having briefly chatted with your manager this morning in the parking lot where you’ll be spending most of your day.
Still, it means that you get to shake off Johnny for a bit. “Lemme go check for ye, okay, hen? Stay here, a’right?”
You watch him jog off down the hall to the breakroom before finally leaving. It’ll be better for you if you’re gone before he comes back.
The first hour of your day is spent on softlines until Priya in jewellery randomly comes down with a chill and gets sent home early, forcing you to cover her section. Usually that wouldn’t be such a bad deal—it means you get to spend your shift helping people try on bracelets and rings, restocking the earring display, and leaning against the counter for hours at a time. It’s not a particularly busy station.
While you're assigned to the jewellery section though, Johnny pops out of nowhere as you're helping a customer contemplating a birthday ring for his fiancé. With the kind of confidence that you’ve come to expect from Johnny, he uses your hand to model some of the rings, but this time it feels oddly weirdly intense. When he slides the first ring onto your finger, you can feel the way he holds his breath, even shudders a bit. He presses himself right up against you behind the display counter, hardness pressing against your hip.
It doesn’t take long for your customer to leave. Johnny’s demeanour is off-putting, concerning even. You can’t fault the guy for being rightfully repulsed by the way Johnny crowds up against you like you’re alone together.
“What are you doing?” you hiss through your teeth.
“Cannae help it, hen. I ken ye wanna wait, but it jus’ makes me a bit emotional seein’ my girl wearing a ring I put on.”
He blinks down at you with big, blue eyes, the picture of innocence. You should’ve anticipated there being a danger in letting Johnny stew over that on his own. Of course he’d come to his own conclusions, even one as deranged as thinking of your hook up as a step towards dating. You can’t help but side eye him.
“We—we’re not a couple, Johnny.”
He cocks an eyebrow. “Ye just let anybody eat you out in the supply closet then? S’that right?” It’s said rhetorically, like he knows the answer already. You flinch at the slight though.
“That was—” you cut yourself off to take a breath, an ache growing behind your forehead, “—that was a…it was a one-time thing. You can’t just act like we’re dating.”
His lips turn down in a pout, displeasure rippling across his face. You brace yourself for the inevitable argument, for shit to hit the fan, because obviously that’s what’s brewing under the surface. You brace yourself for worse too because when you happen to glance around, you realize how few people are actually milling around in the area.
Then, instead of losing his temper, Johnny’s eyes grow smoky, heavy-lidded, and the pout lifts into a lazy, playful grin. “A’right, kitty, no’ dating then. That’s fine wi’ me.”
This time it’s you that frowns, staring up at him dubiously. “…Really?” It feels too sudden, quicksilver. Johnny’s fiery by nature, short tempered on his best days and more likely to grit his teeth and bear the displeasure of not getting his way than happily giving into it. His sudden smile is at odds with the version of him that exists in your mind, furious at you for denying him.
Maybe you’ve got him all wrong.
The gleam in his eye betrays nothing, however. “I swear.” He leans closer to you then, fingers fiddling with the name tag pinned over your chest on your work vest, straightening it. “Doesnae mean we have ta give the rest up though. Ye liked what we did in the closet, right, hen?”
It feels like he’s sucked the air out of the room, as big as it is. “I thought we weren’t going to talk about that.”
“Och, c’mon, kitty,” Johnny breathes, hunching just a little over and into your space, making the moment feel private, just the two of you. “Had to talk about it eventually. Did ye just expect that everything would go back to normal after ye let me eat ye out? Hey—” he catches you when you try to make a move to step away from him, wrapping a big hand around your wrist and tugging you closer to him, “—listen, kitty—it doesnae have to be anything serious, right? That’s what’s making ye all jumpy and nervous? I’ll lick your pussy, free of charge. Dinnae need any labels. How’s that sound, kitty? Dick on demand?”
It should repulse you. The way he speaks to you is crass, crude. His voice is hushed, haggard, fur stretched taut over stone—and yet, your hands tremble, just a little. It tempts you. Purring Scottish burr, lapis lazuli eyes, bristle cheeks that you still remember scraping up your inner thighs. He’s a package you can’t imagine sending back.
“You won’t get…you promise not to get weird about it?” you ask.
His smile curls up, impish. “Cross my heart, kitten.”
Maybe you’re delusional enough to think that you can have your cake and eat it too. There’s a voice in your head telling you to face the facts, but you disregard it as if you haven’t been working with Johnny for months. As if you aren’t aware of his penchant for saying or doing anything to get his way. It’s maybe naive of you.
All you know is that he smothers a laugh when you tell him you’ll think about it. Knows he’s got you right where he wants.
You don’t fight when he drags you into the single-stall bathroom towards the end of your shift, letting him position you in front of the mirror before sinking to his knees behind you. Forces you to watch the way you come apart on his tongue, not giving you his fingers until you beg him to, the whispered plea a hairsbreadth away from becoming a scream.
“Oh, did she miss me?” Johnny breathes, a happy laugh in his voice when he runs the broad side of his tongue over your entrance from the back. “Fuck, look at that. Winked at me ‘n everythin’. Hi darling, missed ye too.”
You don’t think you’ll ever be the same after hearing that come out of his mouth. You go hot all over again when you clench involuntarily, equal parts turned on and horrified. He sniggers before trying to cram his whole tongue up into you.
There’s a moment of panic when Johnny draws up behind you after making you come and you hear him undo his pants. There’s nowhere for you to go with your pants still looped around your ankles, underwear pulled all the way down as well. You hear yourself hiss a startled Johnny when he slots a fat cock between your thighs, staring dumbly at the reflection of him behind you. At your back, he seems massive, lean and trim but towering over you, broad.
He shushes you. “Dinnae be selfish, hen—gotta get mine too. Jus’ gonna fuck your thighs, dinnae fret.”
You squeak when he pushes your thighs together forcefully, dragging his cock over your folds to wet himself. Watching Johnny fuck is nothing like staring down at him when he eats you out. He pants harsh and ragged into the side of your head, nips at your ear. The glint in his eyes goes animalistic, vacant. Human desire recedes, subsumed into the animal part of his brain with the single-minded need to fuck.
The only thing keeping him from driving up into you, accidentally or not, is the way you keep your thighs pressed together. A warm, tight channel for him to push his cock into. Thick fingers dig into your waist, sure to leave bruises. You wince when lean hips pound against your backside, growing frantic as need overtakes him. You flirt at the edge of panic, certain that at any second, he’ll pull your thighs apart and nudge the head of his cock up into you.
“Jus’ like that, fuck,” he grunts. “Be a good little fuckin’ girl and jus’ let me—”
His tongue lolls out on a particularly rough thrust, hands groping over your belly and up to your chest, slipping his hand under your shirt and bra to pinch your nipple. He twists it mean, nasty, until you have no choice but to grunt through grit teeth, eyes watering. You feel like a doll meant for his pleasure, no choice but to grip the sides of the sink and let Johnny use you until he comes.
“Fuck,” Johnny groans, eyes going half-lidded. “Love makin’ this pussy come. Love gettin’ her all messy and wet. Lettin’ me between your thighs even when I make ye nervous—fuck, ‘m gonna come, ‘m gonna—fuck, fuck, fuck—”
White come stripes the sink in front of you, thick and viscous. Paints the inside of your thighs as well when he drags his hips back until just the head of his cock sits nestled up against your sex. Hyperconscious of where it tags your inner lips, that there’s no barrier between the two of you, just come and skin.
The full body shake shocks you, a ripple from your heels to the top of your head.
His free hand grasps you by the hair when you try to slip away. “Ye gonna clean up your mess, baby?”
You glance back up at his reflection in the mirror, trying to suss him out. Shark-like eyes meet yours. Something you’ve seen in glances before finally staring back at you with full force. You reach for the paper towel dispenser with a shaking hand.
“Nah,” Johnny scolds, giving you a shake. “With your mouth.”
The command hangs in the air, no joke or laugh to undercut it. His eyes read serious to you, still dark. No leniency present in the blue.
You stare down at his come on the sink, slack-jawed. “You don’t seriously mean—”
“Jus’ kidding, silly,” he chuckles, giving a teasing bite to your earlobe and tugging. The tension in the air disperses. “Got ye, huh?”
You force a laugh. “Yeah…got me.”

EXTRA GRILLED CHEESE.

summary. bucky has suspicions that you might be pregnant
For the last week, Bucky had an expression you struggled to place - his face often pulled together with intrigue, brows quizically furrowed when around your company. At first, it seemed normal to you - his infamous resting bitch face, but the more he wore it around you, the more you started to worry.
You often felt as though you were bothering him with your talking, the features on his face unusually hard and rigid as he listened to you. It was a silly thought, really - he's your husband. He'd tell you if he needed a minute of quiet.
But the harder you looked, the more you began to realise his face wasn't that of judgment, but instead inspection - like he was analysing you.
Elbows resting on the kitchen island, you lean over the countertop, getting closer to Bucky sitting on the other side.
"Another one?" you ask, reaching for his empty plate.
He wryly smiles. "Only if you are."
"One is never enough," you chuckle sweetly, pulling the ingredients back out of the fridge - collecting everything you need for grilled cheese. "Might do a few more— been really hungry lately. That cool with you?"
Bucky hums softly, head tilted to the side as he watches you - completely smitten. That confusing expression long gone.
"I got it," he stands, moving around the island to you on the other side. "I got the rest. You sit, honey."
You smile cutely, stepping aside and sitting on the countertop - allowing your husband's help. "What do you want to do tonight? Movie and snacks?"
He places the sandwiches in the pan and moves to stand between your legs - slotting his lower half between. Giving you a chaste kiss, he smiles, eyes soft as he looks over you. "Sounds good. Will have to go to the store though— don't have enough in."
"We can go after this?" you offer.
He hums, kissing you sweetly. He pulls back, eyes darting over you. "We'll stop past the pharmacy first. Gotta pick something up."
⎯ ☆ ⎯
Back within the comfort of home, you and Bucky begin to put away the items from the store - bags open on the worktop as you rummage through them, standing side by side.
Bucky stills and turns to face you, reaching into his pocket. "I uh..." he pauses and clears his throat. "I picked this up while you were looking at things in the pharmacy," he starts, pulling out a small rectangular box. "Feels stupid, I don't know," he shrugs, not confident with the direction of his proposal.
Your eyes flicker from the box in his hand and up to his face, looking over him inquisitively. "A pregnancy test?" you ask, taking it from his light hold.
"Feels like I'm insulting you," he chuckles bashfully, stepping closer to you. "It's just... I have this feeling," he says softly, extending his hands to rest on either side of your face. "You don't have to take it."
"No— no, I do— I think. I want to. It's just that..." you exhale faintly. "We haven't really spoken about this for a while. What if it's not the result we want? What if we don't like what we see on the test?" you ask anxiously, fiddling with the box.
Bucky pauses, a soft smile on his face as he tilts your face back up - making you look up at him again. "We have time," he says sweetly. "If we don't like what we see, there are changes— there's other options," he solidifies his reassurance with a kiss. "I'll be happy with either result."
"Should I do it now?" you ask, looking down at the box.
"You do it when you're ready, honey. Doesn't have to be now, doesn't have to be today."
Briefly reading over the writing, you feel a slight swell in your heart. It all felt so daunting. You knew this was something you'd both eventually want, but the idea of it beginning now was enough to make you feel queasy. Everything was going so well in your lives, and this was such a big step in your marriage - you were just scared of what the result would do to you both.
With a deep inhale, you shrug sweetly, feigning bravado. "Piece of cake."
"Piece of cake," he repeats, kissing your temple.
Stepping aside, you walk into the bathroom - box clutched in hand as you read through the directions. The heavy thumping in your ears distracting you from understanding it all.
After following the instructions, you place the stick aside on some toilet paper and call in your husband, moving to sit on the edge of the bath. Without missing a beat, Bucky steps into the small room, eyes focused on yours as he walks to sit beside you - slipping his hand into yours assuringly. His large hand enveloping yours.
You sit in uneasy quiet for what feels like an hour, each of your brains whirling with thoughts and ideas and questions - the noise far too loud in your minds.
Then, finally, after a while, your timer goes off, the obnoxious sound interrupting you both from your fazed-out states.
"You look."
"Are you sure?" he asks, holding your hand as you both stand.
You hum anxiously, nodding at him.
With one hand tightly in yours, the other reaches for the little stick - fingers loosely wrapping around it. Bucky stills, the features on his face slowly softening.
"What does it say?"
He nods faintly, his brows curving up in the middle. "Positive," he murmurs, the shock evident in the way his tone wavers. "It's positive."
"Positive?" you repeat, your expression widening.
He hums, enveloping you in a tight embrace - pressing kisses into your cheek.
"We're having a baby," you mutter, voice cracking slightly.
"Yeah," he nods, pulling back to look over your face - checking you were okay with it all as he is. "We're having a baby," he echos you, cupping your cheeks.
"You're okay with this?" you ask, focus blurring from a few stray tears.
He nods firmly. "Of course," he chuckles, his tearline slowly filling. "Are you?"
"Yeah," you laugh lightly, nodding - the gentle grip of his hands moving with the soft motion of your head.
"I'll give you everything you want. Everything you need— I'll get you it all."
You already had everything you wanted.

A Weekend in Ibiza - Part 4 (final)
(Jude Bellingham smut fic)
(Part 1, Part 2, Part 3)
5.2k words. Jude*female reader. Smut & suggestive language. And many confused feelings.
A/n - When we don't get Jude holiday content (the kind with other women), we make shit up
Tumblr media
................................................
You missed him.
Son of a bitch, you actually missed him.
Jude had left an hour after waking you up for an early morning tumble. It had been your idea, since he kept yapping in your ear after you two were done, with the typical annoying chirpiness of a morning person, while you just wanted to snuggle in the cozy sheets, & enjoy the pleasant relaxation washing over your muscles. So, you had nudged him to take care of whatever it was he needed to take care of and he had left, promising to return soon.
But now, you missed him. The room suddenly felt too big, too empty, too quiet without him.
His cologne was still all over you, on the pillow next to you. The sheets reeking of his scent. His belongings spread on the side-table - an expensive looking watch, an LV waist pouch, and a box of condoms.
Would it be downright pathetic to ping him for an ETA?
YES. Your inner voice chided you, loudly.
Remember what this is. What you are to him. The flavour of the week, if even that.
Fine, you were gonna wait. Let him take his sweet time. You’d rather die than be accused of being clingy, especially in this context.
It’s been 90 minutes, stop being so dramatic. Screamed your inner voice again.
You stretched your limbs before getting out of bed, sighing at the soreness. A hot bath was the need of the hour. And house keeping.
Twirling in front of the mirror in your new deep blue summer dress, another daring purchase for the trip, you wondered if he’d like this one.
Well, he had liked blue on you yesterday. A lot.
Heck, it DID NOT matter. It SHOULD NOT matter. You were dressing for yourself. To look good for yourself.
But a little bit for him too.
3 hours. He’d been gone three hours now. It was already 10 am. You started to wonder if he was coming back at all. But he left his stuff? Well it won’t even be pocket change to him. Did he get bored already? Moved on to finer pastures?
Right on cue, the door opened, taking you by surprise. Jude emerged, in all his glory. Donning a loose multi-coloured unbuttoned summer shirt, with matching shorts. Chiselled abs on full display. The chest hair, with a trail going down into his shorts. And then there were those legs. Despite your annoyed state, you nearly salivated at the sight.
He was mumbling something about taking your keycard, in case you were still asleep. But you couldn’t register a word. Senses too distracted to focus.
Jude had this air about him - a casual nonchalance, an unshakable confidence, an inherent swag. Used to getting his way in life. Making the world bend to his will. It was sexy as hell.
But it irked you too. Was it because he operated like he owned every room he walked into, and everyone in it? Or because you wanted to let him own you? You couldn’t tell anymore.
‘Could have knocked first.’
Jude cocked his head sideways at the comment, smirking mischievously, scanning you up & down. A sight for sore eyes. Blue really was your colour.
‘Nothing that I haven’t seen already.’
But something he’d like to see a lot more of. All day today. The dress looked like a million dollars on you, but he’d still prefer it on the floor.
Your hands gripped your dress (a movement his eyes followed), to curb the shiver running down your arms. Even while being arrogant, he was still charming.
‘Someone else could have been here with me.’
You managed to find your wits, and shot back.
His whole demeanour changed. Features hardening, gaze intensifying, as he stepped closer. Subconsciously, you retreated, gasping when your back hit the desk. He stood toe to toe now, towering over you. Your fingers started fiddling aimlessly as you avoided his burning glare, realising you had touched a nerve. HARD.
The tension in the air reverberated through your body and you jumped when his large hands gripped your ass, kneading the exact spot he had spanked yesterday. The residual sting making you whimper & bite your lip, drawing his attention to your mouth.
Jude bent down, biting your earlobe, drawing another whimper, as he whispered in a low, raspy, menacing tone.
‘I NEVER share what’s MINE, especially when I have wanted it so much.’
You wobbled, and clutched his biceps for support, as his hand slid under your dress & found your dripping core.
‘Already?’
The tone was half-mocking, half-proud, as he cupped you over your panties, your legs spreading on their own accord to accommodate his hand. Then, with a measured move, he lightly slapped you there. Sending shockwaves through your nerves.
You mewled and fell forward onto his chest. Stunned & turned on beyond any fathomable limits. Moaning his name, sounding unabashedly needy.
That proved to be his undoing.
You found yourself bent over the desk, face down into the glass top, your dress yanked down & pushed up to pool at your waist, your hips adjusted to his preferred angle, your panties discarded somewhere, your hands struggling to find some kind of purchase on the glass, your shaky breaths making patterns on the sheer surface.
Vulnerable and spread open for him. Exactly as he liked.
A quick preparation with his fingers, and he was sliding inside you, groaning at the hot, tight squeeze of your walls, stretching you fully. Your back arched, as your body struggled to take him in. But he kept going, till he bottomed out.
Sounds of sex filled the room - your choked moans, his uneven grunts, his body slapping against yours, while yours slapped against the desk. Your nails scratched on the glass, his angles shooting sensations up & down your spine, hitting spots inside you didn’t know existed. The rapid movement of your bare nipples pressed on the cold glass made you scream. Which brought him out of whatever trance he was in.
Jude paused instantly, bent down, & brought his face to the side of yours.
‘What’s wrong?’
Words failed you. Somehow, you managed to point to your chest. He understood, bringing one arm underneath your breasts, shielding them from the glass. You whimpered at the relief. He stayed put, unmoving, panting over your neck.
‘Too much? Should I stop?’
Your nervous shake of head was all the signal he needed. He went again, tad slower this time, but still rocking your world in a thousand different ways. Making you see stars & entire galaxies as your vision blurred. Your scream when you came was muffled by the glass, and you were far too overstimulated to register his groan as he climaxed soon after.
Jude put his hands on either side of you, half-bending, half-standing, still buried inside, as he came down from his high. Looking over your spent form.
As you stayed half passed out, few things became clear in your mind about him. 1) He was possessive to the hilt. 2) He liked to take from behind when he was in the mood for fucking / hard sex. Face to face was for softer, calmer, gentler situations, like this morning. 3) He was as much a boobs guy as an ass guy. 4) Football wasn’t his only natural gift, to the point it was unfair to other men. No way they could compare to the whole package that was him, and he knew that all too well. 5) His dominance and aggression didn’t end on the football pitch, he brought it to bed too.
Lost in these thoughts, you didn’t register when he carried you bridal-style to bed, looked you over for any bruises (he was kicking himself hard for not factoring in the glass top properly), cleaned you & tucked the blanket over you.
Only coming to your senses when you were pulled against a hard muscular body, laying on your side, his arms wrapped around you, his cheek caressing yours, as you heard him mutter softly.
‘Say something. Please.’
Jude had been half-hard before he walked in, the hours away were literal physical torture. Then that dress, and especially your comment made him tip over the edge. He hadn’t planned to be rough, not so soon in the day at least. Definitely not after last night.
You sighed as he showered you with forehead kisses, somehow re-discovering your voice.
‘You snore in your sleep.’
Amused, he turned his face slightly to look at you, then laughed an infectious laugh, his whole body shaking with the sensation, as he squeezed you lightly in his hold, bringing a smile to your tired face.
‘Well, we have already established you are a liar.’
‘Please, have the others not told you this?’
He didn’t usually sleep in the same bed with the others all night, not so soundly anyway. Even on some rare occasions, he parted ways swiftly in the morning, without much conversation. What was happening right now was not the norm, it was a massively astronomical exception. Something he was still struggling to wrap his head around.
‘Stay a few days more?’
That came out of nowhere, even for him.
She turned her head, looking at him oddly.
‘Can’t. Work calls.’
‘Say you’re sick. Or, if your boss likes football, tell him he can have season tickets in whichever stadium he wants.’
You rose up on your elbows, to laugh at his silliness. But he looked sincere so you changed tact.
‘Clearly you haven’t worked in a corporate before.’
He hadn’t. And that effectively shut him up on the topic.
Few lazy minutes passed in silence. Your fingers traced patterns on his chest, half laying over him,  while his fingers carded through your open messy hair.
‘You really don’t do this, do you?’
He didn’t need to elaborate. You understood he was referring to casual sex.
‘I meant what I said earlier. Every word.’
‘Then why this? Why me?’
He sounded sincere, not trying to fish for compliments or anything, genuinely curious to know.
Because it became physically impossible to resist you.
‘An adventure I guess.’
You shrugged, trying to not give away anything more. Anything real. Anything about the state of desperation he had put you in.
He hummed, as he mulled over it.
‘And this trip was an adventure too?’
This time you didn’t need to lie.
‘Kinda. Work was getting a bit much. Needed this mini escape.’
‘Me too.’
He blurted out, again out of nowhere. Jude started to wonder if he was coming down with some kind of bug or something.
‘Like how?’
He had sworn not to dwell on this, to leave it behind on the field, like he had promised his mum. But it was easier said than done.
You sensed the heaviness in the air, and in his mood. Your hand moved to his face, stroking it gently, nudging him to continue. He accepted the comfort, leaning into your palm.
‘Lost a very important final for my country. Couldn’t play my best. Failed them.’
You didn’t know what to say to that. It must have been hard to deal with, and almost impossible to forget.
‘Well, you have a long journey ahead. Second chances will come.’
He shut his eyes, not wanting to reveal the heartbreak. But his expressive face did the talking.
‘This was the second chance. A third chance rather. And we blew it. I blew it. They won’t forgive me.’
His face contorted, and he sank further into the mattress.
The words clutched at your heart, and his pain hurt your soul. Deeply.
‘Heyyyy, look at me.’
He didn’t. He couldn’t. Still too raw inside.
You climbed on top of him and smothered his perfectly symmetrical face with kisses, every inch of it, slowly. Then moved to his lips, giving them a quick peck, which he reciprocated. Moving below, you brushed your lips against his long neck, as his hands unfisted from the sheet, wrapping around your waist. Your whole body weight was on him now, which he seemed to welcome.
But he was still hiding from you, behind closed lids.
Your thumbs massaged the frown lines on his forehead, soothing them, as you bit the tip of his nose affectionately. He sighed, a hint of a smile at the corner of his mouth.
‘If you care this much, then you’ll make it happen again. And this time, you’ll go over the line. Just need to keep believing and working for it.’
Finally, he popped his eyes open, flashing a delicate, hopeful smile. You smiled back and leaned in to peck his nose again, but pulled you in for a deep passionate kiss, only breaking it when he sensed your breathlessness, & let you roll off of him.
Jude turned to his side, eyes roaming your spent form (you hadn’t even bothered to pull up the blanket), as his warm hand splayed on your stomach.
‘We need to work on your stamina.’
Offended, you tried to push him away, but he stayed put & giggled at your meek efforts.
‘Well, I am not a professional athlete, hello? And….I don’t do all this….stuff…nowhere as frequently as you. So, I am good, thanks.’
‘But what if someday you want to try more?’
Irritated, you decided to get back at him, knowing he won’t be able to retaliate given his guilt over your exhausted state.
‘Yeah, like what? A threesome maybe?’
That wiped the smile off his face. Good start, then.
‘Not gonna lie, it’s always been a fantasy having both of these (you pointed to your tits) sucked simultaneously.’
Jude had recovered enough to catch on to your little game by now.
‘Careful, doll.’
You ignored him completely. Having tasted blood, you couldn’t stop, going for the kill.
‘Anyone from your entourage, maybe? Or a teammate? Cama looked cute on your Insta, is he here by…’
Jude didn’t let you finish. In a flash, he was on top of you, pinning your hands over your head as his mouth claimed yours in a punishing kiss. You squirmed under him, to no avail.
‘Threesome huh?
He barked in between demanding kisses.
‘You barely take ME fully and you want another man? Tell me, how will you take two together? WHERE will the other one go?’
For the second time today, you realised you had bitten more than you could chew. The bear had been well & truly poked.
‘Here?’
He shoved two fingers in your mouth, past your gag reflex. Eyes wild, showing you what he was picturing.
You shook your head from side to side, desperate to hold on to at least some of your erstwhile principles. And panted when he withdrew his fingers.
His hand slid behind you, poking at the back entrance. Your whole body jolted at the touch, and the implication, as you tried to peel his hand away.
‘No? Didn’t think so.’
Next, he gruffly squeezed your boobs close, admiring the valley in between.
‘Now this is tempting, but still not enough to climax. Which leaves this.’
Jude grabbed your right hand, looking straight into your flustered eyes. Challenge loud & clear in his animalistic gaze.
You wanted to run. At the same time, you wanted to meet him head on, to wrestle the control back.
He could tell you were considering it, and pounced on the opportunity, dragging your hand to his briefs, over his crotch. You both gasped at the touch.
‘Yes? Say yes.’
You couldn’t deny him. You didn’t wanna deny yourself either, curious about what he’d feel like.
The moment you nodded, he ripped away his briefs, and brought your hand back over his already excited member, covering it with his. Guiding your motions.
Your eyes widened at the feel of him - he hadn’t put on a condom this time, wanting you skin to skin. No barriers.
‘Come here doll, let me show you.’
Jude proved to be a good teacher. And you had always been a good student. Keen, curious, eager, fast learner. And in this specific instance, deeply enchanted with a gorgeously horny boy, therefore extra motivated to be good for him.
Going by his grunts, you WERE good. Considering the way his eyes were rolling to the back of his head, you were better than good. He grabbed your face and smashed his lips to yours, cursing into your mouth, while his hand continued to guide yours, going at a frantic pace now.
Throughout, you couldn’t sway your eyes from his face. Every little twitch imprinted deep into your mind, a core memory even. One could climax just looking at him like that. If you weren’t so sore & spent right now….
‘FUCKING HELL.’
He came with a groan. Splashing everywhere. Making a complete filthy mess of the sheets. And of you.
He panted against your lips, slowly calming down, plopping back on the pillow. While you remained dazed by what you had just done & witnessed.
After a few minutes, he gathered you in his arms again, carrying you to the shower. You welcomed the comfort of hot water, and the support of his body engulfing yours, keeping you from crumbling. The sight of him under the water, all wet & glistening, was pornographic. Another memory stored for life.
A nap seemed super enticing post the shower. Wrapped in bath robes, limbs intertwined, you both fell into a relaxing sleep. When you woke up, it was time for lunch. Jude knew the drill by now, quietly hiding in the washroom when the waiter came with the tray. Both had built an appetite, so the food felt extra delicious.
Post lunch, you cleared out a few emails on your laptop, preparing for tomorrow, while he sat next to you, watching some pre-season match on TV, head resting over your shoulder. It was impairing the movement of your arm as you typed but you were never going to make him move.
‘So, where do you work?’
You paused, and gave him a side-eye.
‘You are not supposed to know.’
‘Jeez, I mean which city.’
‘Amsterdam for the next 5 weeks. Then, back home.’
‘And where’s home?’
‘Far away. Not in Europe.’
You kept typing, eyes firmly on the screen, and Jude understood he wasn’t going to get anything  more than this.
‘Wherever it is, I could fly you out, you know.’
‘What does that mean?’
‘Fly you out, to Madrid. To be with me. Whenever we want.’
To be his booty call is what he meant. Now you understood. Is that what he did with others too? All part of some playbook? Well, she wasn’t going to become another entry in the long list of girls he had at his beck and call.
‘Jude, I told you this was going to be just one weekend. Then we go back to our lives.’
‘I know, but, why is that set it stone?’
‘Because this is not me. I can’t go about my life while still doing this.’
‘But why?
‘Why? Because I don’t recognise the person I am right now. I am not so rash, carefree, whimsical, BOLD. This is an anomaly. And for what it’s worth, I like who I am in my real life. I have my own little world that I am content with. My own principles, which I stand by. Taking an 8-10 hr flight for hook-ups does not really fit into my scheme of things. I’d much rather wait for a real relationship, stick to my beliefs.’
Jude listened intently, soaking in every said and unsaid thing, trying to get to the root of what was getting you so riled up.
But he had always been a straightforward person. Didn’t like living with regrets. Go after what you want was his mantra.
‘Do you like the person you are right now, with me?’
You stared open mouthed, connecting the dots of how he was trying to check-mate you.
‘I am not gonna play this game with you.’
‘It’s not a game. Maybe the universe is sending you a message.’
‘I highly doubt the universe would be messaging me to keep hooking up with you. Universe has better things to do than that.’
‘Has this been so forgettable for you, then?’
He knocked the wind out of your chest with the poignance of his words and the disarming vulnerability of his voice. You felt lightheaded, and reached for his arm to steady yourself. Your tone softened.
‘I - I never said that. Never meant that.’
‘Then why are you so cross with me? Looking at me like that. Was it so wrong to want to see you again?’
You scooted closer, towards his body heat, and rested your head on his shoulder.
‘Didn’t mean to. I guess shit just got too real when you said that.’
And because you hadn’t still fully come to terms with the choices you had made this weekend. Deciding to continue it will not let it remain an anomaly, and will go against everything you believe in. No, you can’t fall for this. Will have to resist the temptation that was this man. Cut the chord this weekend, for the sake of your sanity. And return to normalcy. Never letting a single soul know what happened here.
He was quiet. And still. Processing the rejection. You climbed into his lap, cupped his jaw, gazing into his turbulent eyes.
‘We still have half a day. Let’s not spoil our remaining time together?’
He didn’t say anything, just looked at you with a blank expression, and you threw your arms around his shoulders, hugging him close. Feeling a strange sense of guilt. But you hadn’t done anything wrong, this had always been the arrangement. He was anyway going to get bored of this (you) soon even if you had agreed to continue. This was for the best. A clean cut.
Then why was it eating away at you? Making your insides churn?
‘Please, Jude. Please, just..’
You snuggled your head into the crook of his neck, and felt his arms settle around you. He lifted you out of his lap and made you lay on your back, as his eyes roamed over you. And his mind worked extra time to arrive at a decision. You waited patiently.
‘How much do you like this dress?’
A lot.
‘Do whatever you want.’
He tore it off, ripping with force, taking his frustration out on it. Laying you bare for him.
But he wasn’t rough. No, what happened over the next hour was more intense than even any BDSM out there.
Because, Jude made love to you. Worshipped your body. Touched you in ways that was ruining you for other men. Whispered such things in your ear that no other voice would ever be good enough. Looked at you with such longing & passion that you could see your image in his honeyed orbs. Kissed you so fervently that you were becoming addicted to his lips. Sucked your boobs so thoroughly that you almost came just from that. Ate you out with such determination like his life depended on it. Fucked you to oblivion, to the point you thought you were getting a stroke. Made you peak over & over, like he was trying to set a new record in the history of mankind.
All while never breaking eye contact with you, never letting you slip away or hide from him.
You could tell he was proving a point, showing you what you would be missing out on. That the two of you still had a lot more to discover together. That only he could make you feel a certain way. And that sex with him can be like this also - more, different, real. Not just a sating of lust.
But you had to stay strong. Because if you fall, it’s gonna be a slippery slope. A bottomless pit. You had so much more to lose in this, because he clearly was not ready for anything more. Even if he didn’t fully realise that, you could tell as much. And this half-in, half-out arrangement would be a recipe for disaster in your life.
As your sweaty bodies laid intertwined with each others, basking in the afterglow, you couldn’t resist placing little kisses on his chest, earning sweet sighs from him.
It was almost evening now. Only a few more hours left with him.
You had to pack, book your cab to the airport, do your web checkin. And call home - since you had been practically MIA for two days. So much to do, but you couldn’t move from his side. Just a few more mins like this.
Finally, you got up, moving around the room to gather your stuff. While he laid on his stomach, towards the edge of the bed, arms crossed & tucked under his chin, just watching you silently.
‘You…don’t have to stay if you are getting bored, you know.’
‘Do you want me to leave?’
You zipped your bag and kneeled in front of him, cupping his cheeks with both hands.
‘I want you to stay.’
‘I want you to stay too.’
You sighed, pressing your foreheads together, unable to respond in any other way. Because there was nothing to say.
‘How about dinner on the balcony? And some wine?’
You tried to sound enthused, looking at him expectantly. He gave in.
‘I have a bottle you’d really like.’
The dinner was light, neither of you in the mood for anything elaborate. The wine was heavenly though, you hummed appreciatively with every sip during your first glass. Later, both of you gulped it down fast, to fill in the awkward silence, emptying the bottle in an hour.
You swayed a little as you walked to the railing, soaking in the sound of the waves and the moonlight dancing on it.
Jude stayed on the couch, eyes firmly glued to you. The silver nightdress shone in the moonlight, creating a halo like effect. An elusive, mysterious fairy, who was flying away from him in a few hours. Never to be seen again. Pangs of a strange, hitherto unknown emotion gripped his heart.  And he closed the distance between you two, while he still could.
Strong arms came around your waist, holding you gently. You leaned back into his chest, as your hand reached behind to stroke his face.
‘Won’t you miss this?’
Wine had numbed your filters and inhibitions. You couldn’t lie anymore. Couldn’t pretend.
‘I will.’
‘No one special back home then? Someone who could make you feel this way?’
‘No.’
His lips brushed your shoulder, sending a shiver down your back. The cool night air adding to the charged touch, as his fingers played with the strap of your nightdress.
‘So let me have you till then. Till there is….till you find…..and then you can…..’
He couldn’t bring himself to say the rest - the sheer thought of you settling down with someone so unpleasant, like a punch in the gut.
‘If you are around, I won’t be able to.’
He was dangerous, so dangerous for your sanity.
He had gotten what he initially wanted - your body. Why wasn’t that enough? Why was he asking for more than you could give? Why did he want to come for your soul, your heart too?
‘You won’t know till you actually try. Maybe I’ll change your mind. Or maybe you’ll change mine.’
Another emotional whiplash with his thoroughly befuddling words. Chipping away at the carefully constructed shield around your heart.
It had to stop. This had to change course.
‘Please, this is the wine talking. You’ll be repeating this to someone else a few days later.’
‘You think so? You think I’d jump in bed with someone else straightway? Like tomorrow?’
His grip became firmer. On your body. And your senses.
‘Won’t you?’
‘Would you like that?’
‘It’s none of my business.’
‘WOULD YOU LIKE THAT? Answer me.’
‘Jude please…’
He flipped you by your waist, grabbing the back of your neck.
‘Stubborn. So stubborn.’
A wet, needy make-out ensued, where you met him halfway. Gripping your butt, he lifted you up as your legs wrapped around his waist.
But he didn’t take you inside, settling on the balcony couch instead, making you straddle his thighs.
‘Not outside.’
‘Yes outside.’
‘But…’
‘It’s dark. No one can see us. Trust me.’
He lifted your nightdress over your head, pleased to find you naked underneath. His briefs were quickly discarded too, as he started to pull you down over himself, spearing you with this angle, while his mouth wreaked havoc on your chest, and his hands roamed your back with abandon.
For one last time, you submitted to him. Wholeheartedly. Just laying in his arms as he took you on a joyride. His hands doing most of the work when your legs couldn’t keep up with his thrusts.
‘How are you still so tight? After everything?’
Your body was filled with his marks and bruises, and you refused to even acknowledge the unseen marks he had left on you. The way he had penetrated the depths of your conscience. Clawing his way in.
Tears started to pool at the corner of your eyes, but you fought them valiantly. Not letting him see.
Jude had finally been able to put a finger on the strange emotion he had been feeling all day. It was desperation. He was desperate to not let you disappear forever. Feeling completely powerless - he’d never been on the receiving end of this before.
‘At least give me your Insta.’
He mumbled as you both were close, his strokes becoming sloppy.
‘I won’t follow. Won’t do anything to draw attention to you. But at least I’d be able to see you.’
But then he’d know who you were. Where you lived. Where you worked. He’d be able to find you, reach out to you. And this weekend won’t remain your secret only.
‘Let me…think about that…yeah?’
You kissed him, shutting down any further protests, taking in the feel of his lips. For the final time. You moaned into each others mouths as you fell apart together. Wrapped around each other. Naked on a balcony. Under the dim moonlight.
He carried you back to bed, settling in next to you. Both too emotionally & physically exhausted. You clung to him, moulding your body to his, snuggling into the crook of his neck, breathing in his scent as you both willed yourselves to go to sleep. With a heavy heart.
Next morning, when he woke up, you were gone. Unable to handle the prospect of another goodbye, plus not wanting to wake him up after he had twisted & turned restlessly most of the night. Frankly, you weren’t sure you had it in you to leave if he woke up and looked at you in that trademark way of his.
He understood why you did what you did, looking around the now empty room. Not knowing what to do next. Feeling a sense of loss he didn’t know how to process. Needing a hug from his mum.
Just then, he saw a note on your pillow, carefully tucked under the TV remote.
‘I’ll always remember you. Please know, this was the only way.
Love,
Your first name.’
That made him smile. He said your name over & over, deciding it suited you perfectly. The signature making his heart flutter a bit.
He clicked a photo of the note. As a plan formed in his head. Of another post, drawing you back in. He knew you’d be checking his profile, maybe even following him by now. Yeah, he’d get you back, he just knew it already!
.............................................................
And there it is, the final chapter. This was meant to be a 2 part series but your love & feedback kept it going.
Thank you, I am so grateful. And I can't wait to hear your thoughts on this final instalment :)

Dark! Evan Buckley Masterlist
Part 1
Part 3
Summary: Being type one diabetic, (Y/n) relies on Evan for a lot of things, and it makes him very controlling over her. Especially when they are around other people.
Enjoy.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Tumblr media
Tears of indignation burned in (Y/n)'s eyes and trickled down her face as she started to pace up and down the living room.
Her left hand tangled in her hair but her other hand was practically shaking as she held the phone closer to her ear, as if that would make her hear her mother's cruel words any clearer.
This wasn't right. It wasn't fair.
There was only one clear side to be on and right now, her mother was backing the wrong side. She wasn't listening. She wasn't taking (Y/n) seriously and this wasn't what (Y/n) expected when she answered the phone. she was suddenly glad that they were having this conversation over the phone as opposed to being at her parent's house and seeing them face to face.
How could they blindly listen to what Cathy had said to them yet completely ignore everything (Y/n) had been saying for the last two weeks?
"Y-you're not being fair." (Y/n) couldn't help the way she snapped the words down the phone at her mother and her voice hitched in her throat as she tried to stop it from wobbling or breaking.
Her mother was being unjust.
After the God awful meal at her parent's house two weeks ago, during the night when she and Evan were at home, he explained. He told her why she had gone into that hypo and that her sister had been adding alcohol to her drinks. Cathy had plainly told (Y/n) the cocktails she drank had no alcohol in them, that was why she had been so dismissive when (Y/n) had her low blood sugar and went into a hypo.
(Y/n) couldn't believe her sister would be that vindictive and she had told her parents the next day.
They had been arguing about it ever since.
Tipping her head back, (Y/n) willed the tears to stop falling but it didn't seem to be happening anytime soon. Her eyes were starting to sting with the need to burst into fits of tears and her nose scrunched with that familiar tingling sensation that happened when she felt like crying.
Each breath seemed to run away without her and she moved to stand near the far window at the end of the living room. The turquoise sky looked calming compared to the storm that was raging in (Y/n)'s chest and dwelling in her mind. She wanted to disappear. She wanted her mother to understand and listen to her and not be so cold-hearted.
It didn't matter that Cathy was the favourite child, the first born. All that mattered was how spiteful she had been towards (Y/n) and how she had treated her that night.
"I told you what she did! Why won't you take me seriously?" The well-kept temper within (Y/n) started to rise to the surface and she knew as bad as her anxiety would get, this would be easier face to face. Shouting down the phone wasn't as satisfying as raging at her mother in person. But then again, it was the aftermath of an argument, the come down, where (Y/n) would have a panic attack.
"Honey, she made a mistake with the drinks-"
"She did it on purpose! She admitted it to Evan."
"She didn't mean to hurt you. And she's concerned about him, honey you haven't known him all that long and you're already engaged and moved in after less than a year. It's a bit sudden, Cathy is very suspicious of him, she wonders if he's the right one for you."
That was low.
That was a harsh blow, turning this whole situation around and casting doubt on Evan simply because he knew what Cathy had done. She couldn't go around saying spiteful things about Evan and making their parents concerned about him because she was a sad, angry person who had been caught out.
"He knows me better than you do." Her tone was harsh and she hoped it cut deep into her mother, as deep as her words had about Evan.
(Y/n) knotted her fingers tighter into her hair and started to pull until she felt her scalp start to burn and a few hairs came loose between her fingers. But when she turned to face away from the window, a bolt of lightning shot down her spine right to her toes.
Her eyes blew wide and her hand turned into a fist around her hair when she looked towards the stairs.
Evan.
She hadn't heard him exit the bathroom. How long had he been standing there? How much of this conversation had he pieced together? Had he heard her mother's voiced concerns about him?
He looked very casual. He was stood just beneath the stairs in the corner of the room, his elbow leant on the unit propped up against the wall and one leg crossed over the other. His right hand was clamped down on his hip and his head was tilted to one side, one brow arched up and that slanted smile on his face.
The way his damp curls were crimping and flopping around his temple showed he hadn't long gotten out the shower and he was dressed in his slacks, a cotton shirt and matching black shorts.
"(Y/n), honey-"
"You're wrong, you're all wrong." (Y/n) snapped viciously and pulled the phone away from her ear so she could barely make out her mother's next words. She didn't want to hear them. She didn't want to be told her relationship was wrong or had grounds for concern when before now, her parents didn't seem so worried.
(Y/n) moved in with Evan so soon after getting into a relationship because she loved him. He took care of her, he helped her with her anxiety and it was so much better than living alone. She loved being with him and how he looked after her and loved her and lavished her with affection; she didn't deserve the amount of love Evan had for her.
And they were the happiest they had ever been together, so why shouldn't they get married?
None of Evan's friends or his team had a problem with their engagement or their plans to get married next year. They were all happy and eager for the wedding to take place.
(Y/n)'s eyes locked on Evan and she took a deep breath, and her eyes followed him as he pushed off the unit and took slow steps towards her. He seemed to stalk closer like a predator getting ready to capture its prey and it made (Y/n) shiver.
Her arm tightened around her waist and her knees almost buckled when Evan was stood less than an inch away from her. He was close enough that their chests were touching and he had to tilt his chin down so he could look at her properly. The same, stoic expression remained on his face and he felt the way (Y/n) jumped when he placed one hand on her hip tight enough that it felt like he was claiming her. He didn't need to; she was already his.
Evan cast his eyes towards the phone and took a moment to listen to what her mother was babbling about.
He had gathered the gist of the situation when he heard (Y/n)'s panicked responses and the fury in her voice. He had been hanging around for about five minutes, listening to her defend him and their relationship.
It made him smile. No matter what her parents tried to say to her, clearly nothing was going to change (Y/n)'s mind and that was what Evan wanted. He wanted her to be clear on their relationship because she was his girl.
He had already made sure that Cathy wasn't going to be a problem; he would hate to have to try and keep his in-laws in line too.
"Hang up."
His words surprised (Y/n) and she found herself narrowing her eyes and tilting her head to one side as she stared up at him. What good would that do? She would only have to have this argument another day when she eventually talked to her parents again, it may as well be now.
"But-" Whatever rebuttal she tried to make faded on her tongue when Evan's free hand moved to press beneath her chin and his lips ghosted over hers. So close, almost touching, but not quite there.
"Hang up." He spoke each word slowly, whispering them into her mouth with that same smile and sugary sweet tone as when he fed her sweets during a hypo. His tone was almost hypnotic and (Y/n) found herself nodding as if she was bargaining that she would hang up if he kissed her.
She didn't know why he didn't just want to take the phone from her to argue with her mother himself or why he wasn't telling her what to say. He was usually rather good at firing back during arguments or challenging people and if (Y/n) ever needed pointers for arguments, Evan was always telling her what to say. He was good like that.
She pressed her thumb against the button, ending her mother's distant, chirping voice trying to gage her back into conversation. The phone almost dropped from her hand when Evan smiled that beautiful smile that had his lips turning a blushing shade of red before they consumed her.
He kissed her like the notion was going out of fashion and he wanted to make the most of it. He stole the air from her lungs and swiped his tongue across her lower lip, leaving her breathless and begging for more when Evan finally pulled away and tilted his forehead down against hers.
"Mum doesn't understand," (Y/n) didn't know how else to explain or summarise the awful, one-sided conversation she'd just had with her mother. But she knew Evan would understand. She knew by that strange smile on his lips and the look in his eyes that he got the gist of the conversation and he knew (Y/n) didn't agree with the rest of her family.
"They're about as loving as my parents." The way Evan tutted and rolled his eyes made (Y/n) nod as she lowered her arms until they were resting on Evan's arms, since his hands were now clutching at her hips. "You don't need them in your life, you know."
He spoke as if it was the most natural thing in the world, as if it was something obvious and for a moment, (Y/n) was stunned by his claim.
Her head angled to the right and she narrowed her eyes as she stared up at him like she was trying to see the wheels turning in his mind.
What was he talking about?
They were her parents. As much as (Y/n) didn't get along with them or how often she argued or felt left out by them, they were her family. Her parents may favouritise Cathy, but that didn't mean they didn't love (Y/n). It wasn't so much about (Y/n) needing them in her life, they weren't there because she needed them. They were family, (Y/n) couldn't just cut them off like Evan did with his own parents.
"Wh- I, I know they're wrong, but they'll come round eventually. I do need them," She knew her voice didn't sound as strong and convincing as she wanted it to and it fuelled the fire within Evan's eyes and ignited the smile on his lips.
His hands pulled her closer until her chest bashed into his and he dipped his head down to steal another kiss.
"I didn't see your parents rushing to your aid when you had that hypo, they didn't bother to help you at all, did they?"
He was being truthful, even if he was twisting the situation to his advantage. Evan didn't see her parents panicking or worrying about (Y/n) in the way that he did. He was the one who noticed the signs that she was going into a hypo. He was the one who got her sugar levels back up to where they should be and who sat with her and made sure she was okay. Evan was the one who cared and fawned over her in that situation. Her parents didn't bat an eyelid.
They weren't proper parents, not in Evan's eyes. They didn't care about (Y/n) in the way that they ought to, the way nature intended them to. They favoured Cathy and doted on her and (Y/n) was left on the sidelines when she was the favourable one. She was the kinder, sweeter, docile sister who needed to be looked after and protected.
Well, Evan would do that now. He would protect her. He would look after her and make sure she was okay and not in any danger and he would make sure her health didn't decline. If her parents couldn't be bothered, then they didn't deserve to be in her life.
"Well, no but-"
"And they don't care that Cathy could have put you in hospital. Baby, you're better off without them, any of them. No one's gonna take better care of you than me."
He felt the way (Y/n) shuddered and how her breathing hitched when his hands let go of her waist in favour of cupping her face. He smoothed his thumbs across her cheekbones like he was moulding clay and he peppered a few delicate kisses to her lips and the corner of her mouth until (Y/n) closed her eyes.
If they were going to become a problem, then Evan had to solve that and get them out the picture. He thought that her parents would be fine, they didn't have an issue with (Y/n) living with him or becoming engaged, at least not until Cathy started poking her nose in where it didn't belong.
Evan might have to bump into Cathy at some point and make sure that she got the message. She wasn't allowed to mess with (Y/n) anymore. She wasn't allowed within ten feet of her little sister, curtesy of Evan. He wouldn't let her try and mess with (Y/n)'s health or make her feel belittled. He wouldn't have her poisoning her parent's mind against him either.
For now, cutting her parents out of the picture was gong to be the easiest solution. Keeping distant from them would stop them from poisoning (Y/n)'s mind against Evan and it would make her see that he was the only person who could and should be looking out for her and looking after her.
And he would make sure to deal with Cathy properly if she dared to put one toe out of line.
"But-"
"So forget them. If they can't be bothered to care, then neither should you." Evan knew he was making sense to (Y/n) because he could see the deliberation happening in her eyes.
She wanted to protest, but every point he made was accurate and rung true in her ears. If her parents were going to put her down and cast doubt on her relationship with the one person who truly loved and looked after her, then (Y/n) didn't need them in her life. She didn't need them upsetting her and causing problems and making waves when they shouldn't.
(Y/n) made a small noise when Evan slid his right hand around from her cheek to cup the back of her neck. The feeling of his fingertips pressing into the back of her neck was acting as a button, about to turn her legs to jelly.
And he moved his left hand, trailing his fingers down her shoulder and along her arm until he suddenly plucked the phone from her hand.
(Y/n) didn't have the nerve or the willpower to ask what Evan was doing, especially not when he brushed his nose against hers and started stroking his thumb along her neck.
She managed to tear her eyes away from studying Evan's features to see what he was doing. She thought he might be writing out a text to her parents, he always had a way of wording things so they sounded sophisticated or in a sense that no one would dare argue with him. But her eyes widened and she clutched her hands on his forearms when she saw what he was doing.
He deleted them.
Cathy's contact number; her dad; her mum, and the house phone. Each one was deleted from her phone and with a click, Evan turned it off and tossed the phone somewhere on the sofa before (Y/n) could protest or reach out to stop him.
Could she really cut all contact with her family?
With Cathy, it wouldn't be so hard. They never really got along and they didn't communicate all that often. Not texting or calling her sister wasn't going to be hard. But (Y/n) tried to keep in touch with her parents, she was often calling her mum to have a chat. She wasn't sure she could just cut them out of her life.
But she had Evan now. He was with her every day. He looked after her, he made sure she was okay and that she worked from home so she wasn't anxious. And if anything ever worried (Y/n), she told Evan and he sorted it without question. He went out with her so she didn't have to leave the apartment alone. He had her Dexcom app on his phone so he could keep track of her health and make sure she was okay. Their phones were connected so if Evan needed to know her location, he could find her and make sure she wasn't in danger.
Evan did everything for (Y/n), she didn't need her parents who only seemed to upset her and cast doubt upon her life.
Whatever protest had been forming in her mind was quenched when Evan's lips were on hers and (Y/n) felt his fingers tightening around the back of her neck so he could pull her closer. He began carefully walking her back and (Y/n)'s numb feet moved of their own will, or maybe of Evan's will, as he guided her backwards until she sank down into the sofa.
He hovered over her, kneeling between her thighs on the edge of the sofa with one hand on her neck and the other gripping the back of the sofa so he didn't press all of his weight down onto her and crush her beneath him.
"It's for the best. I'll never let anyone upset or harm you like that again, I promise."
(Y/n) looped her arms around his neck so she could glue her chest up against his. His promises always made her stomach go fuzzy and had her head spinning in circles. She knew she could always count on Evan, for anything.
"You don't need anyone else but me."
***
"Who's gonna be there?" (Y/n) looped her hands around Evan's arm and pressed herself up into his side like she was trying to make herself disappear.
She meshed her cheek up against his shoulder and tilted her head back so she could look up at Evan properly while he guided them towards the station.
They were having a Christmas Fayre.
From what (Y/n) could gather, this was going to be different from the Christmas party that would be taking place the week leading up to Christmas. Bobby was getting a few probies and new recruits to cover so all the core team could go on for a meal together and then out for drinks afterwards.
The fayre today was for some of the public and most of the other stations to attend. There were a few trinkets on sale, a lot of drinks and food being put out, a table to give donation presents that could be passed out to the public on Christmas. And there would be a raffle too.
A smile formed on Evan's lips as he looked down at his girl, tucked up against his arm like a bird seeking shelter.
"All the team will be here, and probably people from about three other stations nearby. Don't worry, I won't leave you alone with anyone."
Evan wasn't sure exactly who would be here, but he knew a lot of the other station recruits were invited over. Some of whom he would know, and others he probably didn't know more than a mere face he would have bumped into on one or two large call outs.
But he wasn't going to stray from (Y/n)'s side, he had to be next to her at events like these. He had to make sure she didn't get panicked or uncertain or too overwhelmed. And he wanted to keep an eye on her drinks this time. He wasn't having a repeat of her family dinner. Evan knew no one from his station would spike the drinks or make mistakes, but he didn't trust everyone else.
He wasn't taking any risks, not where (Y/n) was concerned.
(Y/n) slowed her steps when they walked into the station. It was lively, and busy. There were lots of tables set up all around the middle of the station since the trucks and the ambulance had been moved out into the car park to be out the way and create more space.
People were filtering about in all directions, music was playing through the speakers and a few decorations had been hung around the beams and rafters and on the stairs.
"Hey, there you are. You both okay?" A grin lit up Eddie's face when he noticed them both and he headed their way.
"We're good, did you bring Chris?" Evan peered around to try and find the kid he thought of as his nephew. He didn't see that mop of familiar brown curls until Eddie pointed in the direction of the raffle table. And there he was, Chris was stood front and centre, going through a few raffle tickets to see if he had won anything new.
"If you want a go, you'd better get in there now before he wins every prize. He's took all my change."
A grin wormed its way onto (Y/n)'s face when she looked between Eddie and his boy. He wasn't annoyed that he had been raided for about ten pound in change, but he was a bit concerned that Chris might come away with almost every prize from that table. He loved things like raffles and bingo and rather than the second hand, boring prizes that they had at the church fayres, there were actually some good Christmas prizes here.
It enticed him more to want to win them all.
And when (Y/n) glanced up at Evan and saw the light in his eyes as he smiled over at Chris, she felt something warming up in her heart and sending adrenaline coursing through her stomach. He loved looking after Chris, sometimes when (Y/n) watched them both interact, it gave her an insight into what Evan would be like if they had a child together. Or more specifically, when they had a child together.
She knew Evan was eager to have a baby, almost as eager as he was to get married as soon as possible. (Y/n) had a feeling it wouldn't be long after they set a date and got married that they would have a baby.
She had been thinking a lot recently and she knew that if they got a bit too eager and somehow (Y/n) got pregnant before the wedding, they might have to bring the date forward. (Y/n) didn't want to be visibly showing when she walked down the aisle.
"You guys want a drink?" Eddie held out the two plastic cups in his hands towards them. He had only just grabbed them from the drinks table, he was fine to go back and fetch another two for him and Chris.
His brows furrowed slightly when (Y/n) shook her head and a nervous expression flooded her face.
"No, thanks." She winced until she felt Evan slide his arm out of her hold so he could loop it around her waist instead.
"We just ate before we came out. Tell Chris I'll beat him when Bobby starts the games."
Eddie nodded, chuckling to himself as he headed towards Chris to see how much he had won and if he had used all of the change yet. There would be a few games going on in a while and Evan had promised Chris the other day that he would join in and go against him in the games. Evan had a love for winning, but when it came to Chris, he was always willing to lose every now and then.
(Y/n) murmured a small 'thank you' into Evan's arm before she turned so her chest was meshed up against his and her arms looped around the back of his neck.
He knew why she declined the drink.
Since the incident at her parent's house three weeks ago, (Y/n) hadn't been out to any social event. She hadn't met up with any of her few friends, she hadn't seen the team in over a month and she hadn't left the house unless Evan went with her.
The incident had undoubtedly set (Y/n)'s social anxiety at a peak and she didn't want to go out and risk any other embarrassing incidents happening. Not to mention she was checking every drink and bit of food she had and Evan was keeping an eye on her Dexcom app to make sure her sugar levels were okay.
She hadn't wanted to leave the house much since that night with Cathy's antics. Staying home had made (Y/n) feel better, she was at ease and when Evan was home with her, he attached himself to her in more ways than one and made her forget why she would ever want to leave the apartment at all.
"I'll grab us a drink in a bit, let's have a look round, hm?" Evan nudged his nose against hers and stole a kiss from her warm lips.
He had told (Y/n) how to stay safe, that it was better to only accept or have drinks that were either from a bottle or a can or which she had seen be made in front of her. That way, no one would have chance to spike her drink or trick her into having alcohol and risk spiking her sugar levels and making her sick.
(Y/n) wasn't going to accept drinks from anyone unless Evan thought it was okay. This was his team, his friends and close family, if he trusted them then so would (Y/n).
His hands moved down to her hips and (Y/n) grinned when he spun her around in his arms and glued his back down against her chest. He merged his lips with the top of her head and squeezed her hips every few seconds while they walked around slowly to take in all the different stalls and activities.
They did a loop around the station, taking a look at different things, chatting with the team when they passed.
After a while, (Y/n) leaned her cheek on Evan's arm which gave him cause to attach his lips to the side of her temple rather than the back of her head. He started murmuring into her skin, pointing out the few people he knew from other stations and saying which station house they came from. But there were a few people around here that he didn't know.
When they approached the drinks table, (Y/n) glanced up at Evan before she took one of the flavoured water bottles. It seemed the safest bet, it wasn't tampered with and wasn't too high in sugar. They had both eaten lunch before they came out and Evan had given (Y/n) her daily insulin injection, she didn't want to unbalance her levels.
Evan opted for the same drink and they floated about the room for a while longer. They moved towards the crafts table where a few young kids were scrawling and scribbling on print out pages of Santa and trees and creating their own elves. After a few minutes, Evan hovered his lips over (Y/n)'s ear, pressing a delicate kiss there before he murmured in her ear.
"Just heading to the bathroom."
His fingers squeezed her hips and when (Y/n) turned her head to look up at him, he stole a sweet kiss that left (Y/n) gasping and her lips following after his touch.
(Y/n) suddenly felt at odds with herself when Evan unravelled from her and drifted off down the corridor near the locker room to head to the toilets. She knew he was only going to be a minute or two, but standing around on her own wasn't something (Y/n) enjoyed.
She didn't know whether to wander off and try and find Hen or Eddie or even Bobby to try and strike up a conversation and be around someone. She knew she couldn't get her phone out and start scrolling, that would make her look very unsociable and people might think she was being rude or stuck up.
She set her water bottle down on the table behind her and started to ring her hands together in front of her to try and rid some of her excess, anxious energy.
Her eyes set on the raffle table and she took a few steps closer to see what was left. There were still quite a few different gifts to be won. She knew Chris had won a craft box, a large chocolate bar, a smelly gift set, and one of his tickets had won him a bottle of wine which Eddie had quickly confiscated.
"I haven't seen you here before."
Her head turned to the left and she watched as a man about her height, probably a few years older than her, walked up beside her. He stood with one hand ticked into his trouser pocket and the other curled around a plastic cup.
He smiled across at (Y/n) and looked her up and down before he glanced around the station. He wasn't one of the 118, he had to be from one of the other stations because he was in the same uniform as Evan always wore when he was on shift. This guy didn't wear the uniform as well as Evan.
The shirt was hanging off this man's frame like it was a little too big; whatever shirt Evan wore, whether it was cotton or button up, he seemed to fill them to the max until he was almost bursting out of them. And it always made (Y/n) smile how he pulled the trousers right up to his tummy rather than resting them over his hips.
"Oh, I- I haven't been to one of these before." It was true. (Y/n) knew the team well as if she were one of them, but she hadn't been to the station very often. And she hadn't been to one of their fayres or parties yet. Although Evan was certain that he was going to be bringing (Y/n) along to all their parties.
"I'm Arthur. Want to go get a drink? I can introduce you to a few people if you like."
If it weren't for how anxious (Y/n) was, Arthur's smile would have been inviting and warming. But (Y/n) wasn't a social person and smiles didn't always calm her down and make her feel relaxed.
And when Arthur stepped closer and rested his hand on her upper arm, (Y/n) didn't know what to do. It felt like she couldn't breathe. Her lungs felt like they were seizing up and horrible pins and needles clawed beneath her skin and rattled down to her feet.
She tried to step back and shrink away from his touch without seeming rude or snotty. She didn't want anyone here to think she was being rude but she didn't want strangers getting close to her and talking to her and reaching out for her. (Y/n) would rather be ignored than be embroiled into conversation like this.
A look of confusion plastered across Evan's face when he walked down the corridor back towards the music and the festivities.
His brows furrowed and his head tilted to one side like his world was spinning off-kilter.
Who was that talking to (Y/n), and why did he have his hand on her?
If Evan didn't know that guy, then there was very little chance that (Y/n) knew him either. She only knew Evan's team, she shouldn't know anybody else here, even Evan didn't know all the other workers from different stations.
Who did that guy think he was? Why was he reaching out and holding onto (Y/n) like he had any right to touch her or like she was his property? She was Evan's partner, his fiancee. Whoever that guy was, he had no claim on (Y/n) and therefore he had no right to be so close to her, especially when Evan had disappeared for less than five minutes. This person had timed it just right to catch (Y/n) when she was alone, Evan didn't like that.
A jolt surged through (Y/n)'s system when she felt a hand on her waist and a stern chest suddenly pushing into her back.
"Wanna remove that arm before I break it?" Evan's voice sounded so casual and innocent that it didn't match with the words he spoke, but the violent look in his eyes was terrifying.
He pushed Arthur's arm with just a little too much force and nudged him back so his he had no choice but to drop his hand from (Y/n)'s arm and step back from her personal space. He hadn't been too close, too intimate or intimidating but he had been close enough to rattle something deep within Evan.
"Take it easy, we're all friends here, I was just making conversation." Arthur held his hands up and narrowed his eyes. The way he angled his head and pursed his lips showed he wasn't too comfortable in this situation. He had no idea who Evan was or why he was suddenly appearing out of nowhere, so rattled and tense.
"Funny. Now back off."
"Hey, I think she can speak for herself and talk to whoever she likes. I haven't done anything wrong here." A spark of courage seemed to roll through Arthur for he stepped closer to (Y/n) to try and prove his point.
The motion made (Y/n) shrink back. The last thing she wanted was to cause a scene or be caught in the middle of this. She stepped to the side until she was almost stood behind Evan who had taken her place, less than a foot away from the other fireman he didn't know.
"Oh really? You go around touching everyone you don't know? I won't tell you again; step away." Evan reached out and gave Arthur's shoulder a rough shove until he was stumbling on his back foot.
Evan didn't care who he thought he was or that he thought he had any rights to come over here and start bothering (Y/n). He couldn't do that. He couldn't walk over here and make her uncomfortable and start touching her the moment Evan walked out the room. He wouldn't stand for that.
He wasn't having anyone coming over and getting too close when she was his girl.
He felt the way (Y/n) curled her hands around his bicep and pressed up into his side. And he felt her whispering his name against his arm. That timid tone did something to flood Evan's system with adrenaline and he spared her a glance. He didn't like the panic he could see plastered across her face.
"Or what?"
Arthur's retaliation made Evan growl and his shoulders hunched up while his hands balled into fists.
He stepped forward, one arm pulled back, ready to send a punch to get the message through to this idiot that he couldn't get away with this. He wouldn't let this guy hustle in and try and get too close to (Y/n) and mess with her. Evan was her partner. He was the one who looked after her and protected her and that included from anyone who tried to get too close to her. Like this guy.
Before Evan could ram his fist into the guy's face and cause a scene, he felt (Y/n) gasping into his other arm. And he shuddered, pausing when Eddie was suddenly stepping in front of him.
There wasn't a lot of space for Eddie to wedge himself between Arthur and his best friend, but he managed it. He clamped his hand around Evan's wrist and lowered his arm before anyone realised that he was about to throw a punch at someone. He might not be on shift, but he could still get reprimanded for this.
Once he lowered his arm, Eddie placed both hands on Evan's shoulders and tilted his head forward, giving him a warning look. He didn't need to do this here, he needed to calm down and go wander around the station for a while. Starting a fight wasn't a good idea, it wouldn't help anyone.
"Hey, hey, Buck now's not the place to start a brawl." Eddie took a deep breath to try and get Evan to copy him and calm down a little. "Come on."
When Evan nodded, Eddie carefully turned him round and started walking him towards the back of the station. a few heads had turned in their direction and one or two murmurs were floating around, but when people started to notice that a fight hadn't taken place and no raised voices could be heard, the tension simmered down. Everyone seemed to go back to what they were doing and paid no attention to Eddie practically pushing Evan towards the locker room.
When Evan muttered "I'm fine," and shrugged Eddie's hands off his shoulders, Eddie nodded with a sigh and stepped to the side.
(Y/n) spared him a relieved, thankful look before she scurried to follow after Evan when he headed towards the side door. He was heading outside. He knew no one would be standing around out there, he could have a few minutes to calm down outside without anyone glancing or watching him or muttering, wondering what that commotion had been about.
Once they were outside, (Y/n) let the door shut behind them. She bound her arms around her middle, digging her fingers into her waist to try and calm herself down and encourage herself to take slow breaths so she didn't start to panic.
She didn't like how tense Evan looked. His hands were balled into fists at his sides, his shoulders were tensed up and his back looked very taut and hunched like he was halfway through evolving into a whole other being.
The way he kept his back to her made (Y/n) wonder if he was angry with her. She hadn't meant to upset him. She hadn't wanted to talk to that guy, he had been the one who approached her and struck up a conversation with her. (Y/n) hadn't encouraged or enticed him in any way.
"Evan?" She wasn't quite sure what to say to him, she couldn't gage how upset he was about this. Whether he was just starting to calm down or whether he was angry with her too and about to blow a fuse.
(Y/n) didn't like it when Evan was angry with her. He hardly ever got annoyed at or with her and they didn't argue often, it was one of the reasons (Y/n) felt they were so great together. They could always agree and sort anything out before it became a problem. But right now, thinking Evan was upset with her, it made (Y/n)'s stomach clench and had her heart suffering palpitations.
When he turned around to face her, (Y/n) couldn't help but take a step back as she winced. He looked fuming. His eyes that were usually so warm and inviting looked angry and violent. His jaw was tense and clicking from side to side and his hands were still balled up into fists at his sides.
"Why did you even talk to him?" Evan huffed the accusation with an air of indignation and a curled upper lip. His expression made (Y/n) feel like she had done something wrong and she could feel tears welling up in her eyes.
"Wh- Evan, he- he approached me, I didn't want to be rude." Her hands knitted together in front of her out of nervous habit.
She hadn't gone over to Arthur, whoever he was and whatever his intentions had been. He was the one who came over to (Y/n) and started up a conversation. It would have made (Y/n) seem like a rude, snotty cow if she point blank ignored him or walked away or told him she didn't want to make polite conversation.
There hadn't been any choice for (Y/n) but to try and have a conversation with him. That was the polite thing to do and it wasn't as if she had gone and flirted with him and he technically hadn't flirted or overstepped the mark with her, so (Y/n) hadn't done anything wrong. She didn't lead him on or encourage him and Evan must realise that.
He had to know how much (Y/n) adored him and that she would never do anything like that. Evan was the one for her, he was the only person she had eyes for and (Y/n) would never do anything to jeopardise that.
"He's not part of our team, I don't know him and neither do you. You shouldn't go around talking to every stranger in the room you know."
The way Evan inclined his head to the side and stared down at her made (Y/n) wince.
It felt like he'd insulted her.
Evan hated the look of hurt pooling within her eyes when she stared up at him and it made something burn within his chest and a tightening sensation to contract around his heart.
But he needed her to understand. If Evan didn't know that guy, then he could have been a snarky or pushy kind of person. He might not have taken no for an answer. If Evan didn't know him, then (Y/n) couldn't trust him. She was an anxious person, she shouldn't be striking up a conversation with a pushy person like that, at least not without Evan there to help and make sure everything was okay.
"He's one of the department, I didn't- I didn't think he would be dangerous o-or it would be unsafe, in a room full of your friends. Baby please-"
"That doesn't count for much when your own sister spiked your drinks. You can't trust anyone except me. I'm the one who looks out for you baby, I'm the only one who can actually take care of you and watch out for you. Who else makes sure you don't get hurt?"
(Y/n) instantly felt bad. Her arms coiled around her waist and she shrunk in on herself as she nodded.
He was right.
Evan was always right. He was the only one who was looking out for her, who properly took care of her and made sure she was safe. He took care of her when she was ill, he looked after her when Cathy had spiked her drinks and when her parents didn't care, at least (Y/n) knew she had Evan in her corner.
He was the only person in her life who (Y/n) could rely on without a doubt; the only person who loved her unconditionally. (Y/n) couldn't trust anybody else and she needed to have Evan by her side if she was going to try and talk to new people in case they turned out to be as conniving as Cathy.
When Evan stepped closer, (Y/n) backed up a little and darted her eyes down to the floor. She didn't want him to get angry with her, she didn't want to upset Evan or make him think she didn't love him as much as he loved her.
She took another step back until she realised she had backed herself up against the wall. And Evan stalked closer until he was towering over her, his head angled down in her direction. His hands were no longer balled up into fists at his sides, instead, he looked a little calmer than before.
"Look how anxious you got, I was gone for two minutes and you're worrying. Baby that says something, it means you should just wait for me when we're out like this. Don't talk to anyone if I'm not there if it'll make you anxious."
Evan had to spin this situation and get (Y/n) to see it through his eyes. How could he protect her if she went talking to strangers when he had his back turned?
He couldn't protect her or keep her safe from everyone else if he wasn't there when she was talking to new people and in different and possibly dangerous situations without him.
It was in (Y/n)'s best interests to be by Evan's side in situations like this. She needed him to be there when she talked to other people, he could look after her that way and if anything seemed off then he could protect (Y/n). And if people tried to take advantage or they turned out to be as deceiving as Cathy, Evan could take control.
He had taken care of Cathy, he was willing to do that to anyone who posed a threat to (Y/n) or his relationship with her.
"I know… I'm sorry." (Y/n) dared to reach her arms up and hook them around Evan's neck so she could pull him down into a hug. She pressed herself up against him, tucking her face into his neck to stop herself from crying. He wasn't angry with her, he was just trying to look out for her.
She smiled into his neck when his hands moved down to hold her hips and he nudged her until her back was pressing into the wall again and she was trapped between him and the wall. The feeling of Evan's lips peppering against the side of her temple made (Y/n) smile and she tightened her arms around him which made him grin.
"I just love you, so much." Each word was murmured softly and quietly into the side of her temple and (Y/n) could physically feel Evan thawing out in front of her.
She tilted her head back and caught him in a kiss, hoping he would feel and sense how much she loved him too. She never wanted Evan to think she was ungrateful or that she didn't appreciate how much he did for her and how he took care of her. (Y/n) knew she couldn't hope to find anyone else half as loving and concerned about her as Evan was.
"I'm the only one who can protect you." His words made her stomach flutter, especially when he pressed down against her, pinning one knee between her thighs while he stole another kiss.
He took each ounce of breath from her lungs and grazed his teeth against her lower lip and tugged until (Y/n) whined into his mouth.
"I know." She whispered, still breathless as Evan barely let his lips move from hers, practically kissing her as she spoke. "You're the only person I trust."
He grinned against her mouth, tightening his hands around her waist until his fingers were almost puncturing through her sides and the weight of his chest pushing down on her was oddly comforting. It was secure, a sensation that told her she was protected and embraced and safe.
And when Evan kissed her so tightly it felt like her lips were starting to bruise, (Y/n) tilted her head back and gave in to the lightheaded feeling he was creating.
Those were just the words he wanted to hear.
Don’t take my sunshine away.
Part 3.
Tumblr media
Warning ⚠️; blood, murder, grief.
Pairing; Bruce Wayne/Male Reader
Summary; You finally killed the Joker, avenging your son, but not before he gave Metropolis a dose of his medicine. The Justice League doesn't agree with your actions, but at least you have your husband by your side.
Note; So this is technically the last part of Dont take My Sunshine Away, but let me know if you want me to make it a real series and follow with Jason resurrection etc :).
~~~~~~~~~
The smoke and dust are heavy on your lungs, making them feel as if they were filled with cement. You fight the urge to cough, your eyes not leaving the silhouette on the ground. You can hear the regular click of the trigger you are pressing, the gun now empty and refusing to spit more bullets.
In a daze, you can barely comprehend what just happened. Maybe it was the shock, maybe it was your brain trying to protect itself from more trauma. A small laugh left your mouth as you saw the puddle of blood grow under the corpse.
The Joker is dead.
You just killed him.
Half his head is gone, brain matter splattered all over the ground and his chest is pierced by so many holes you can't count them. The only thing you know is you shot his lungs and heart. The fucker was probably dead before touching ground.
A shame.
You should have made it last.
No.
Too risky. Joker was a slimy bitch, had you taken your time he would have escaped and killed more. Maybe he would have taken your son again.
Tim.
Tim!
The thought of your youngest son is enough to snap you back to reality. You gasped for air, letting go of the gun which hit the ground with a metallic thud. Your free hand is grasping clothes and you turned your gaze down to see what you were holding.
Tim’s face is pressed against your abdomen, his arms wrapped tightly around you. You can hear his soft sobs and feel his little body shaking with each of them. Poor thing is covered in ash and dust, but he doesn't look hurt. You sigh in relief, wrapping your own arms around the kid, burying your nose in his dirty hair.
- “It’s over. It’s all over baby.” You whispered before falling down on your knees.
Exhaustion hit you like a truck as the adrenaline slowly leave your body. Tim is still pressed against you as you look around, trying to make sense of what you are seeing. It takes you a few seconds before you recognized Metropolis or what is left of its downtown.
Buildings are destroyed, some still burning, and the streets are cracked. The scene seemed out of an apocalyptic movie. People running around you, some walking like zombies as lost as you were and of course, you couldn't ignore the corpses that lay around.
Swallowing hard, you grabbed Tim as you got up, carrying him in your arms. You felt his arms wrap around your neck while his legs did the same around your waist. He was finally calming down, but still shaking like a leaf.
You weren't better.
- “It’s okay, Timmy, it's okay. We are going to find…” who? Bruce… you can't remember if he was with you, probably not and if he was he is surely walking around as Batman right now. “We are going to find help and then we will get Bruce.”
Yes. Bruce would know what to do and he would help you ground yourself. He couldn't be too far either, never would he have left you and Tim alone here. You had adopted the boy barely a few weeks ago after all. His new Robin, the source of a resent fight between you and your spouse.
You didn't want Tim to know the same fate as Jason and Bruce had been hurt that you thought he would let it happen. But here you were, walking through the destruction the Joker had caused, thanking whatever God was out there that Tim was untouched. You couldn't lose another son, not when you still grieved Jason. In fact, you would never be able to grieve another child the pain was too much.
But the presence of Tim in your life made it easier. He helped you every day, and stood by your side almost every minute he was home keeping your mind busy. Tim had been able to make you laugh again. You cried when he called you dad. He never called you papa, knowing it would hurt too much. But you had missed this; being a father.
Adopting Tim had been the best thing happening to you since losing Jason.
Even the Justice League had grown fond of the boy. Well, those who Bruce welcomed into your home like Barry, J’onn and Diana. You hadn't spoken with Clark since the incident in the Batcave, refusing to hear him out or forgive him. It was petty of you and you knew it. But you couldn't forget what he had said.
Until now.
Until Tim, bless his heart, had sat you down and convinced you to make an amend with Superman. How could you say no to such a sweet eleven-year-old boy? And he was right. You couldn't hold a grudge forever.
But this changed everything. You knew Clark would be pissed off at you and probably other members of the League. You were in his city and killed the Joker, the very man that Clark refused to let you or Bruce kill. Yet, as you walked among the debris, you didn't care. Your new son was safe and unharmed in your arms and the Joker would never be able to hurt anyone else. No parents would have to bury their children anymore.
After what felt like an eternity, you finally walked away from the destruction and found help. Paramedics immediately took a look at you and Tim, confirming that your son was perfectly fine. You, on the other hand, suffered from bruised and small cut, but nothing threatening.
It wasn't long until Alfred joined you and you got inside the car. Tim stayed pressed against your side, arms wrapped around you with his hands clenching tightly your shirt. You held him close too, heart still racing in your chest as Alfred gave you a phone before driving away. He didn't need to tell you who was on the line.
- “Bruce. Oh Bruce I’m so sorry.” You said, voice shaking as the gravity of the situation finally hit you.
- “Darling, it's okay. You did nothing wrong and the only important thing is that you and Tim are safe.” Your husband said, his voice deep and calm.
You nodded silently, tears rolling down your cheeks as you kissed Tim’s hair. The boy buried his face in your chest.
- “He saved me, us, Bruce. Joker was going to kill us!”
- “I know Tim, I found the Joker. Your dad wouldn't have killed him if your life hadn't been at risk. There is nothing your dad wouldn't do to keep you safe. And that is the only thing that matters right now; you two being safe and sound.”
You smiled, lips trembling as you looked down at Tim. It was true. There was nothing you wouldn't do to keep your youngest son safe. You already lost one, still cried the loss of Jason and wouldn't survive losing Tim. Tim who was a blessing. Your sweet little baby stalker. He looked up and smiled at you too.
- “I will join you as soon as I can. For now, I have to deal with Clark and the rest of the League.” You could hear how annoyed Bruce was by that fact. Of course, he wanted to be by your side now, but couldn't. “Clark is pretty pissed off at you for killing the Joker and sending him in Metropolis. The others are on his side, except J’onn and Barry.”
- “Yeah, well where was he?” You asked, rolling your eyes. “He wasn't here to stop that maniac so what was I supposed to do? Let Joker kill us?”
- “No. Like I said, you did the right thing. I’ll deal with the League and join you at home as soon as I can.” Bruce said, calming the anger that was rising inside you. “Do you remember anything?”
- “I, yes… no… I mean we were in downtown looking for a new computer for Tim waiting for Clark and the next thing I know I was shooting the Joker.” You said, frowning as you looked outside.
- “Might be the gas that the Joker used. I still don't know how he did it, but he got his hand on Scarecrow's fear gas and released it in downtown. That's why shit hit the fan. I’m glad you were able to keep Tim and yourself safe.”
You smiled, hearing the pride in Bruce's voice and cradled Tim closer to your chest. After you hung up you felt a strange sense of peace filling you and finally began to relax. The Joker was dead, never again would he be able to hurt your husband or son or anyone else. You were… free and Jason could finally rest in peace, his murderer now burning in hell.
At home, Alfred helped Tim to clean up while you went to wash yourself and patch up your wounds. In the mirror, you stared at yourself. Bruises and cuts finally covered, but they still stunk and hitched you. Your eyes, you noticed, seemed more alive. Ironic when you just took another man’s life.
Now that you took the time to think about it, you felt strangely bad. Bruce had morals and you just broke it. You killed a man. Would Bruce ever think less of you? Be disgusted by you?
You did your best to ignore those thoughts and went to bed, exhaustion crushing you. You were half asleep when you felt Tim joining you under the blankets. His little body was shaking with fear. You wrapped your arms around him, whispering sweet words until he was deep asleep. In the darkness of the room, you watched your son sleeping and smiled faintly. You were happy that fate had given you another chance to be a father and vowed to not let anything happen to Tim, no matter the price. Looking at your sleeping child, you stopped feeling guilty about killing the Joker. If the world wanted to see you as a villain, if even your husband wanted to hate you for it, so be it. You would burn the world just to keep Tim warm.
You soon fell asleep only to wake up with callous fingers stroking your cheek. When you opened your eyes, your gaze fell on Bruce. Your husband laid down behind Tim, smiling as he looked at you. In the golden morning light, you could see how tired he was.
- “Bruce? You are already back?” You asked, voice still sleepy and barely a whisper.
- “Yes. I didn't want to stay away from you.. I needed to make sure you were fine and weren't injured.” Bruce whispered back, taking your hand in his and kissing your fingers. “I needed to be with you.”
You smiled at his affection, your thumb caressing his hand. You felt your heart swell with love for your husband, falling even more for him. Others were used to his coldness and indifference, but with you, he was always so caring.
- “You don't hate me, do you? For killing Joker.”
- “You could destroy the whole world and couldn't hate you.” Bruce replied and you knew he was being honest.
You chuckled and Bruce pressed his forehead against yours. Tim groaned and moved between you, his hands clenching your shirt as he mumbled something in his sleep. You and Bruce smiled and your spouse passed his hand into Tim’s hair. You knew it wasn't an easy situation for Bruce either as he was still grieving Jason too, but it made you happy to see him get attached to the kid. After all, Bruce wasn't one to be so open about his emotions or show affection except to you.
- “So you managed to calm the League down?” You asked, closing your eyes and enjoying the warmth of Bruce’s touch.
- “Yes. Clark was the angriest one, he felt like you tricked him.” Bruce said with a yawn.
It made you snort. As if you had planned to trick Superman into letting his downtown be destroyed by a lunatic clown. You got it, he was angry about the destruction, but it wasn't your fault. He should have been there to protect his city.
You opened your eyes when you felt Bruce’s hand back on your cheek. Your husband smiled too, staring at you with a soft look in his eyes. There was also relief and you knew he got scared by the situation. He almost lost you and Tim after all.
- “You should rest too, Bruce. You clearly need it as much as us.” You whispered and Bruce nodded.
Bruce kept his hand on your face and you slowly fell back asleep. Your little family was safe and complete and the biggest threat to it was forever gone. That night, you had the best sleep since you lost Jason and so did Bruce.

i wish i were Heather Hills
part 3 to my rodrick fic ! read pt 1 here
this has been long awaited! Im sorry if my writings gotten a bit rusty :( i'll be more active i swear!!!!
summary: Y/n and Rodrick notice a drift in their relationship. Earlier, Heather swears to become a home wrecker to the two because she just cant stand Rodrick having anyone other than her.
warnings: heavy make-out, fantasising, allusions to future sexual intentions, bitch behaviour, yearning, sexual assault (slightly), crying
Rodrick and y/n havent talked for 4 days. Considering they were usually knee deep in each others business, this was definitely out of the normal.
Y/n sighs inaudibly as the muffled sound of her Chemistry teacher blabbering turned quieter as moments sprang. Yet, amidst the solemn peaceful sound of nothing she struggles to remember where it all went south.
Rodrick looked into y/n's eyes lovingly with something she'd never seen in him before, intertwining their hands together as he signalled for her to get up with him. She stood up reluctantly and took one last whiff of her cigarette before putting it out with the base of her foot. The sound of it going out satisfied her every time. She dragged her ashy boots along the pavement as they walked away from the half broken vending machine, her head in the nook of his shoulder, just the way she liked it.
Heather stood proudly with a smirk plastered along her face, one that no one could consider accusing of something heinous and she wore that with pride. A little something called pretty privilege she'd say. Something clicked in that blonde head of hers. She was going to make Y/n's life reigned over jealousy.
Rodrick grabbed Y/n's cheeks with delicate urgency as if he was almost primitive in his actions. He gave her one soft kiss before seeing that glint in her eyes that made him go crazy. Y/n let out a soft groan as he kissed her hard and long, so passionately she wanted to cry. No one's ever appreciated her the way Rodrick does. Their saliva mixed and fought for dominance while the sounds they produced were so obscene that it made her wet every time she thought about it. His pretty boy moans, his breathless expression, his half lidded eyes and long eyelashes that made her heart skip a beat more than she'd like to admit. Everything about the boy was perfect. No one could ever ruin this moment.
knock knock
Y/n's mirage of fantasies were quickly toppled over when a certain redhead blew her mind back to reality for the 3rd time this week. In the distance she saw Rodrick talking to Heather, funnily the 4th time this week. Her eyes were still puffy as she tried to digest the situation before her but her attention was quickly brought back.
"Hey, Hey! Look. At. Me. I told you to forget about him. He's no good for you y/n." said the messy haired redhead.
These were the words that often left Alex's mouth. Always about Rodrick not being good enough for her, not up to her class. What was he even trying to do?
"But its only been 4 days. Surely things couldn't have gone so wrong is 4 fucking days." Y/n said with anger threaded in her tone. She couldn't stand Alex, Rodrick, or more so Heather. She was somehow winning again. Just when y/n finally got a taste of what she wanted. She managed to ruin her life just like she always did.
"C'mon sweet'eart, its Rodrick we're talking about. Class act asshole."
she remembered the way Rodrick held her head in his chest, so lovingly, so gently like she was a piece of fine china. The way he cared for her when she abused herself. The way he looked into her eyes and called her pretty each time he stared a little too long.
"Rodrick's not like that. He's not an asshole. Not to me atleast" she said as she stared off into his direction again, a certain ache prominent in her heart.
"Please dont lie to yourself. Dont hurt yourself again."
"Why are you even talking to me Alex? You want to fuck me or something?" Y/n said plainly with not a hint of amusement in her features.
Alex's face got red, slightly hot and he felt like he had been caught. But he knew that was not the reason he'd been trying to distract her, though definitely an appealing one now that he's thought of it.
"W-what, No! I just wanted to help you out, a-and get to know you better, seeing you were crying and all." he scrambled
"Well that's very nice of you but let me put it plainly. I don't need help." she said through gritted teeth and red eyes.
Being a people pleaser all her life, she felt satisfied and a tad bit guilty at the way she handled the redhead, but oh well. That wasn't enough to knock Alex down especially after the very attractive bribe Heather gave him earlier that week.
"I'll invite you to all my parties."
"And...."
"Oh for goodness sake Alex- That should be enough to convince you as is!"
"Well... You're asking me to do quite a lot... And not to mention Rodrick's a pretty tough cookie to crumble..."
"Ugh. Fine! And a kiss. One. Kiss." Heather sighed as she rolled her eyes.
"Okay, ill do it." Alex said with glittered eyes.
Heather had presented a very... lucrative offer to Alex to try and break the couple apart, and somehow it was working.
Rodrick being the dumb loser he was, didnt think to ask y/n about the whole situation but could you really blame him?
"Hey Roddy, bout' that drum gig... how about 100 smackaroos per hour? Sound good?" Heather said with fake innocence through batted falsies and glossy lips she just touched up.
100 dollars. He couldn't give up 100 dollars an hour just like that. Also that stupid fucking nickname he hated so so much because he knew how much it pissed you off. He thought of all the things he could buy you, flowers, makeup, books, movie tickets, your favourite candy, the list went on with all the things that would make you happy. His mind was clouded with you, you, you and the way he'd make it up to you for this whole misunderstanding. The loving he'd show you after this was all over. He missed you so much.
"Yea, sure why not." Rodrick said reluctantly as he leaned further back into the brick wall he'd been perched up against. Each rough grain getting caught between his jackets fabric by the force.
"Okay! Perfect." Heather said while holding both of Rodrick's calloused hands in her own delicately manicured ones.
He quickly pulled away before realising that y/n saw the situation unravel for what felt like the hundredth time this week. Heather bounced away with a smile to her pretty face, hips swaying in her mini skirt practically with her ass hanging out.
Before he could explain, Alex blocked his field of view by giving y/n a big fat kiss.
"Woah what the fuck?" Y/n mumbled through his lips as she tried to pry Alex's heavy body off of her.
Rodrick thought back to when Heather mentioned she saw y/n give Alex a peck on the cheek. Rodrick didn't want to believe that she could be so dumb to do it right in-front of him but after seeing this how could he not feel a slight twinge of doubt pull at his heart. Like his pessimistic mindset, things you hope to be true usually aren't and he was pissed the fuck off.
Before he could think straight, he dragged his feet against the pavement, anger laced in his steps as he pushed Alex's scrawny body off of Y/n. Rodrick noticed how glassy her eyes were and wanted to hug her and tell her everything was okay. Nobody would touch her anymore. But Heathers words kept ringing in the back of his head. She doesn't like you anymore. She likes Alex but is afraid to tell you Roddy. So don't believe her bullshit excuses.
"Dude- the fuck is your problem!" Alex exclaimed while shoving Rodrick's chest. His shoes squeaking against the ground.
"The fuck are you doing kissing my girl?" Rodrick said more angrily than he'd like to come off.
"Just stop it! I don't need this to happen right now!" Y/n yelled as her cheeks got red. Rodrick cursed himself for thinking about how pretty she looked when she got like that. Y/n ran off before covering her head with her hoodie into the girls restroom.
"Looks like she doesn't need her supposed man to defend her huh?" Alex said with an annoying smug look.
"Just fuck off you cunt. Don't ever touch her again." Rodrick said before walking away defeated.
Y/n gripped the ledge of the sinks edge, finger pads bruising the surface before sobbing as quietly as she could. She hated all the unnecessary attention crying brought her at school and just wanted to shrivel up and die. Just as things couldn't get any worse, she heard the familiar tone of Heathers voice arise in the distance.
"No like he was sooo in on it. Im telling you girls he's still into me like- Oh." Heather stopped in her tracks as she saw y/n perched up in a position she had always wanted to see.
"Aw, what happened babe." Heather said with the thickest whiff of fake sincerity her voice could put out. Yet y/n wanted it to be real. She wanted Heather to actually feel bad. To apologise for being such a shit person and a home wrecker.
