Mini-analysis on Tsubakino's fighting style and why I think he's comparable to Suo and Kiryu bc I loved watching him fight

//Wind Breaker S2 spoilers under the cut //Also english is not my first language so theres probably some words i coulda used to make this shorter but i dont know them OTL

So from what we've seen so far (anime only), Tsubaki loves cute/pretty/stereotypically feminine things and he takes kind of a protector role for Shizuka. Something we see from three other characters: Suo with Nirei, Kiryu with the unnamed girl, and Anzai with Nagato. (Anzai doesn't matter for the sake of this comparison since we dont rly see him fight but i gotta give my boy the creds he deserves)

I don't have clips for what I'm gonna say abt Suo and Kiryu's fighting styles and I'll be grossly oversimplifying it since this post isn't about them.

From what we see of both of them, they focus heavily on evasion and counterattacks, not often do they strike head-on.

-----I ACCIDENTALLY RAMBLE ON HERE SO U CAN SKIP-----

Suo seems to do it for fun, keeping things playful, and making sure not to get hit. In a 1 on 1, we see Suo gets his opponent frustrated so they leave themselves open for heavy counterattacks and when in a brawl, he still focuses on evasion but makes sure to always follow it up with a counter. We barely see him block and mostly redirects. AAHHHHH IM RAMBLING OK MOVING ON.

Kiryu fights very similarly, but for a different reason. He doesn't have the same weight to his strikes that Suo has. In the group brawl, we see him redirecting his attackers back at Sakura to finish them off after he knocks them off balance. Then in his 1v1 vs KEEL, we see him employing the same tactics but this time, he keeps his opponents attention. There is no one to redirect him to so, like Suo, he frustrates his opponents, finds an opening, and strikes. Being much more precise than Suo, taking down his opponent in one weak hit.

-----HERE WE GET BACK ON TOPIC-----

Point being, with heavy focus on evasion and redirection, their fighting styles can be described as very elegant and graceful. Words that can be used for stereotypically feminine things. At a glance, Suo and Kiryu are very similar to each other and Tsubaki is almost a polar opposite to the both of them. However, they do share a lot of similarities. All three being very forthright and blunt in what they have to say. The only difference being in the delivery of their words.

That being said, seeing the similarities between the three and the themes that Tsubaki's character centered around, I assumed his fighting style would be very similar to the two.

We do get a hint of this not being the case after we see his dancing at the end of EP20. To the unintroduced, pole dancing appears very weightless due to the minimal contact a lot of the moves have with any surface with a lot of reliance on momentum. Lots of flow to it and stereotypically a feminine form of dance. Animation tends to use a pole dancing sequence to showcase the female form in a sexualized manner, ignoring the athleticism required to perform such feats.

However, if you pay attention to Tsubaki's sequence, its not meant to appear sexualized. A lot of the detail is put into showing off his muscle mass/definition and athleticism as opposed to elegance and style. He is rather tall compared to the rest of the cast (even accounting for the heels) and if put side by side with Umemiya, depending on how inconsistent the animation is, the two are almost comparable in size.

OK SO NOW TO THE ACTUAL COMBAT ANALYSIS I PROMISED OOPS I KEPT RAMBLING!!!

So where we see both Kiryu and Suo are very light on their feet, Tsubaki is very grounded. Every swing he throws out has a lot of weight to it. Normally, heavy swings means long recovery, usually means you leave yourself open to a counterattack. But he uses a lot of the momentum to create false openings, turning his back to his opponent but still using that momentum to either throw a second strike before they can react or to quickly block.

We see Tsubaki throw off three kicks like this in the episode. He does kick a lot in this fight, but these are very different. His very [rotational?] fighting style lends well to swinging kicks. He swings his whole body around as a form of defense and offense. The difference is that these are thrusting kicks. Only forward momentum, no rotation, and not as centered or grounded. He's very wide open and can easily be knocked off-balance. But each time, it successfully zones his opponent. He only goes for these risky moves when he's sure he can connect.

In contrast to Suo and Kiryu, he's not as talkative as them during their 1v1s and he's a bit more of a brute, focusing on heavy hits and blocking. He is a big target after all, towering over most of the cast.

That being said, he still stays very true to his character, starting off the fight in a playful manner, almost teasing his opponent like Kiryu and Suo do, while also throwing in a bunch of fancy footwork and spins to make up for his shortcomings.

All three of them are very deceptive and precise and they throw in so much showmanship and grace into their routines. Tsubaki just has a different way of delivering!

"Dean’s list of sins is crazy long because of how long the show ran, but the key thing for me is that post-locking Sam in the bunker (season 4 I think?), I just can’t enjoy their relationship anymore. Theres just something so compelling about Mizi and Sua, like how different they are.

Mizi was beloved by her owners, even if she was just a pet to them. They cared about her and they most likely put her in Anakt Garden because she was passionate about singing. You can tell from the joy in her face and her saying her wish was to sign with Sua that she loves to sing. Up until round one, life was good for her because she had Sua, ahe had friends, she had passions, and she was loved by everyone.

On the other side, we have Sua. A girl who gave up on wanting anything and her desires, instead being put into Anakt Garden to please her owners. She doesn’t show interest in singing unless its with Mizi. Even in Anakt Garden, many other kids feared her both because of her perfection and intimidating aura.

While the two of them are deeply in love, it’s like their polar opposites. Sua is alone and empty until she meets Mizi, while Sua was another reason why Mizi was happy. Not to say Mizi loved Sua less but rather to say Mizi was happy even without Sua, at least until round one.

AHHHH THEYRE POLAR OPPOSITES

i dont feel like judas and lucky are confronting, i feel like they are existing as the same entity right now, and i dont really know what that means because judas and lucky are two very different polarized parts. luckys known as the part that is/was the host for a very long time and is heavily the part that would be considered the "default" despite him not actually fronting the most, because hes essengially the part that holds the internalized idea of the self. he can be defined by his adrenaline and optimism, and frequently acts like a shot of "euphoria" when things get really bad. he is the part that allows me to be able to still enjoy myself and have fun when my life and mental state get raelly really really really bad, and thats why he was the host for so long. he rarely has that energy now, both because we dont need it but also because being that for so long really exhausted him. lucky is the biggest "fanartist" and "fandom" person out of all of us. he likes to make fanart, and fanfiction and roleplaying, he likes kinning, he likes a lot of the stuff we tend to deem as "dorky" or "unimportant" because this part is specifically aware of the need for it. lucky was frequently the only one keeping us from killing ourself.

judas on the other hand is the part that can be described as the "pain" holder. i wouldn't call judas a traumaholder specifically because memory isn't his strongsuit, but dealing with negative emotions and physical pain is, hes a trooper and can take a lot. he functions a lot as a care taker, he keeps all the information about the system we write down and is usually the one doing the scheduling and doling out of responsibilities. judas doesn't like fandom stuff at all, because of my history with a lot of ex friends and how intensely "fandom" stuff is interviewed with my experience of grooming and abuse from people online, and bullying from my dad. judas typically feels like shit making art unless its "important" or "personal" or "meaningful" to us and regards anything fandom related as unimportant and ideologically bankrupt. to him the ideas of fandom and the ideas of capitalism are very interlinked. "fanartists only do it for money or fame or because theyre genuine fans of the art work. we only use fanart to talk about ourselves and nothing else, so theres no reason to make fanart. just make original art"

they are very much oppositional forces and exist sort of to be eachothers foils. this is also likely why lucky is a hooved dog, and judas is a hooved cat. judas and lucky are also a psiionic and mituna fictive duo, which adds to this. in canon, mitunas head injury is a direct response to his feelings about the psiionic. the psiionic sold out his body and family without thinking for money, he is the judas of the group and caused his entire family to crumble for capitalistic reasons without even thinking. mituna then exists as sort of karmaic redistribution in canon, he inherited psiis doom early to avoid that happening to the rest of them, and from there mituna lives carrying the weight of his mistakes from another life. its also highly likely that mituna purposefully gave himself brain damage to ensure the whole judas-like turn against the rebels and the rigging of him would never happen. i have to assume this is a major part of judas and luckys relationship too. judas makes choices that actively make lucky (and the rest of us) unhappy because judas knows that physically and monetarily it will benefit us, and then lucky has to live with those choices that aren't his. the frustrating part is that ever since judas became the host around like. 2023 or so, he's completely stopped allowing us to engage with things that would at least make his choices more tolerable. he wants us to make ocs and good art and something to be remembered by, but lucky knows we can't do that until we aren't close to dying or are bedridden, and just wants to enjoy himself until the time passes and we're better. judas sees this mindset as "how we got here", and logically, i can't argue with that enough to figure out how to appease this issue. theyre both kind of right? i dont know

Curious about your thoughts on the way marriage is handled in Westeros...highborn marriage that is...it's not very dissimilar to how it worked in historical Europe..but how do you feel about it...it's very foreign to today obviously...but say your father or other respected male family member negotiates a marriage for you, to man you either have never met or met only briefly...and you live in the North...something along the lines of House Tallhart or Cerwyn...but you end up being married to someone from say The Reach...something similar to House Tarly...clearly love, marriage, it's a massive component of the ASOIAF story and certainly your own writings...but I'm curious if you had personal thoughts you'd consider sharing.

I do have thoughts, because I'm sort of sick of seeing posts in this fandom treating the women in asoiaf like they are nothing helpless victims with no agency. Its infantilizing.

There's sort of no one way to look at it. I think there sometimes is a tendency to try and gauge your feelings about it on a level of how relatable it is to you as someone in the modern world. To us, people who've never lived in a society where arranged marriages are prominent in the way relationships work now, it can seem archaic from the outside.

That's typically where you get the side of things where people say women in asoiaf are only treated as broodmares and have no agency and are at the pure mercy of their husbands, and on one hand yes, of course a women can be married and abused at the hands of a bad husband and in that world there is no getting out of that.

But, like in history, the world of asoiaf has functioned on this system for thousands of years. It's a stable system for the world that they live in. And asoiaf shows us a lot of examples of how this sort of dynamic can play out.

Yes, Ned as the husband and Lord is in a higher position of power then Catelyn, but when we actually see the day to day functions of Winterfell, it's seen through Cat. She's walking around in charge, she is in an incredibly important position of power to the point she even has a say in what happens to Jon to a degree. Or you have Stannis and Selyse, two people where no love has been found but they still respect each other and support the other and by the fact that Shireen has grown to be a well adjusted and normal child shows that they clearly have done this right despite that. Or you mentioned the Tarlys, which Melessa seems to be a polar opposite to Randyl in their demeanors but when dinner goes sour in the way Randyl speaks to Sam, it clearly is important to Randyl that she got upset and left the table. Saying that he'd keep Gilly and the baby here specifically because it would make her happy.

It's just hard to say how I feel beacause theres no reason to look at it in a modern perspective. It's so incompatiable to compare them. I think I've made it clear in my writing that I tend not to critically judge the system in place in Westeros, but prefer exploring how one would navigate that system when its all theyve ever known. If I'm from a Northern house marrying into a house from the Reach, there's really only two things I'd have in my mind. Will my husband mistreat me, and will I come to love him?

Westeros couldn't function if all lords mistreated their wives, which means that a lot of these highborns were raised to understand that love might not be something you get to choose, but its something that can still happen. They know this is how their life in marriage will come to pass, and I think most characters in asoiaf arent critical of it because they have no reason to be. Which really means I would have no reason to be.

I've written two marriages, one both parties chose and one that was arranged. And some of my most fun was writing reader's marriage to Robb because even though they have a friendship established before hand, its fun to explore two people who have always known this arrangment would be how they get married and not be afraid to dive right into what that marriage would involve when it does happen.

Thats sort of how I see it, putting myself into this marriage, it's something I've always known and expected. Like a lot of women we see in asoiaf, I'd be eager to get to know the man I just married because the reality is that the duty comes first and then we have a lifetime to figure out how to fall in love. Sometimes it doesn't work like Stannis and Selyse, and sometimes it works out like Ned and Cat.

Obviously if you pick me up now and stick me into an arranged marriage in Westeros with no say, that's different. I've never been raised to think prepare for that sort of arrangment, but highborn women in asoiaf have been raised to prepare for it. So a lot of these people in the fandom treating them like perpetual victims are sort of babying them for something most of these women don't even think is an issue, let alone abnormal.

Maybe its because marriage is such a strong throughline of hotgw, but I just have a lot of thoughts about the way people infantilize women in this series as if they have zero agency in their lives.

Aughhhh im so bored from collage stuff but hey i havent talked about a songbirds sanity in a while so im gonna spoil some details

Em and Marv (My Nuzi fankids) are the living personifications of both N and Uzi’s emotions, memories and traumas

Em is their Trauma, in the first part she accidentally gives them a nightmare, (and dies frequently) its mostly due to their repressed feelings and trauma built up and personified into Em, she sees the worst possible outcome and has a pessimistic and irrational attitude (like uzi) towards her own trauma(even if it’s not shown) Em has a clinginess to them not just because their her parents but because their the closest ones that will understand how she’s feeling because she quite literally their Fear, Trauma, Anger, Impulsiveness and all their negative emotions personified into an actual person with their own trauma and feelings and deeper into the story they figure that out for themselves that the twins are polar opposites

Marv on the other hand is their more likable qualities and has their best feelings and personalities, he’s more social and charismatic than his sister is, Marv is more optimistic (like N) and is more happy, friendly and has a better outlook on life, he isn’t clinging to them as he has their acquired sense of self to be independent however he has his own flaws and can be naive, Marv is more free to be himself and is more confident as how be grew up strengthened his sense of independence, he has the heart of helping people in need and unlike Em he gives people good dreams,

Put very simply Em is N and Uzi’s worst qualities with a few good ones while Marv is their best qualities with a few bad ones,

And there you have it, the reason I created the au, for a year now ive been working on it and ik this sounds selfish but i can’t lie im sad not alot of people are interested in it, but ik people have their own preferences and thats cool! Theres no personal attack or anything on either sides, i just like yapping about possibilities and shit

Im being more delusional than usual and i keep thinking about highschool love with childe(or anyone tbh) imagine us being like an introvert but not so introvert and only talk when we need then theres childe who can talk and make conversations with anyone even though he just met them... i mean i guess thats the reason hes super popular especially among the girls<3 bonus if childe and us were childhood friends but dont talk much coz we sometin3s dont have the chance to talk to him due to him being so popular and surrounded by people all the time :( BUTTT whnever he isnt surrounded by people, we do all those sweet highschool couples thing like walking home together, recess on the rooftop, after school studying at the library and all that<3 their relationship isnt a secret but its not that obvious do you get it?? Childe was outgoing, extroverted and popular. You on the other hand, were quiet and kept to yourself, introverted and not popular.

Although you were not very popular, since you guys were best friends since childhood, nothing really separated you and him.

He was always surrounded by people, especially the popular girls. Sometimes, you were worried that Childe would leave you for one of them but Childe would always shoot you a look when they came near him.

The look that seemed to say that he loves you and would never leave you.

Your relationship seemed very private although none of you even made and effort to keep it like that. Being the introvert you are, talking to him in school was not a choice since there were so many people around him.

But when you two were alone, it was a completely different story. You guys were high school sweethearts. Sharing soft kisses with a lingering aftertaste of him on your lips, watching the beautiful sunset while alone on the rooftop after school.

Walking home together, his hand holding yours tightly, never seeming to want to let them go. Planting kisses on your hands that fit perfectly in his.

Studying together at the library after school, no one was there, you guys were alone. In fact, sometimes, the study sessions would end up with Childe pinning you to the wall and kissing you passionately.

You loved him dearly. Anyone who knew about your relationship with him could tell. It was obvious enough. With all the kissing whenever you guys were together even with someone else there, who knew what you guys would do when alone.

Childe had even brought you to his home to meet his family. They liked you. They could see how much he loved you, with him showering you with kisses on the couch when he thought they were not there.

You also loved his adorable siblings, Teucer and Tonia. They were adorable and their cute antics were making you love them even more and more.

Sometimes, Childe would even be jealous of Teucer and Tonia, muttering under his breath about how they were stealing your attention away from him. When you heard this, you stifled your laughter and gave him a living kiss in the nose. How sweet!

This has been a dream, a match made in heaven. Childe and you, y/n. The perfect couple. Life could not be any better.

OnG its a TOYTTINN

(Not his ref sheet, I just wanted to post this and obesse over him. Also i dont know how to explain my ocs, so this is gonna be unorganized. )

So he's my oc, Toytin. And I love him very much. And he is literally physically incapable of being rude.

I made him 7'1 (big.) and the son of Baphomet. In my universe, there is layers upon layers of lore that can differentiate my hell from the hell in the bible. In this case, Baphomet is the pure embodiment of hell (his presence keeps it alive.) And is basically a copy of Lucifer.

Anyway.

He's half goat, you really can't tell because he is a doll- Like literally, his family was knitted and sewn by Baphomet himself. The only person besides Baphomet in his family that's organic is his mother, who was a angelic species used as tools

He's very special, and when I say special I mean he's autistic.

Toytin is infamous for his energetic behavior. He accepts anyone, actually. Well, besides food. Specifically meat, and that's because for the majority of his childhood/teen years (he's 16.) He grew up as a puppet. He's -quite literally- is crochet. His family dynamic was very dystopian. More joblike than family. And he had a big use in it.

The reason why Baphomet went to earth in the first place was his plan of conquest of earth. You see, between heaven and hell theres only one earth. And each fight over it to gain the bigger resource.

This is why he created a makeshift family to fulfill his greed. Toytins' role in the family is only a role for one. He's supposed to stay locked in a forest, in a trance, until a being approaches him. He befriends the person and takes them to his home, usually getting them to stay the night. Then they go missing in the morning.

He was obvious to what he was doing. and he always did this once a week. He just thought his friends left early, unaware his friends were his breakfast, lunch, and dinner. (Baphomet grew a nasty habit of eating people.)

After finding out the real reason why they go missing- After breaking the cycle and finding his friend nearly butchered-His family turned into a guards system, protecting Baphomet. Toytin had no other choice but to fight them, as either they'd kill him or he'd kill them.

In the end, he banishes/sends Baphomet back to hell-By killing him..- yet Baphomet didn't permanently die. He just couldn't go to earth until the 'portal' was opened.

He's able to escape the forest-Barely alive due to his injuries.- And is taken to a hospital (He's found by a passerby known as Caleb.) Caleb stays with him, mighty curious as to what the thing is he found and takes great pity on him.

When Toytin is finally discharged Caleb takes him into his hooves (Caleb's a Llama.) And finds a man who can fit Toytin into his home. A manticore in the shader aprtd of town named Mars, he's around Toytins age aswell, making the meeting perfect.

So Caleb, a close friend to Mars, Gets Mars to take Toy in. Mars home situation isn't the best for Toy to live on. The home is a wooden antique shop, shut down a decade ago or so. It was practically given to Mars for free, and it has Mar's own shine on it now.

Now, for a short character bio, Mars is a short (5'11) Albino manticore. He works at a small diner nearby (where he met Caleb.) And nobody seems to really know where he came from. Not as if it mattered to them though, Mars had many enemies and little friends due to his sharp temperament. Which, in a way, was the polar opposite of Toytins.

But despite holding a grudge Mars grows close to Toytin. Mars immediately disliked Toytins loud, joyful personality but they had similar experiences in life. It caused them to grow strongly connected.

But even with such a strong hate, after a while of being together, Mars finds himself attracted to Toy. And when "sick" for a month, he advances on Toytin, and sleeps with him. (ALSO. Now both of them are 18 atp.)

For once, knowingly sinning, Toytin has a existential crisis. And tries to redeem himself by using magic -incapable of accepting his flaws.- he creates a near-death experience he has eith his father.

Now, let me explain his deep connection to Baphomet. Because Baphomet made Toytin, Baphomet has the "doll" that controls Toytin. Yet, when he was killed and the doll was lost the connection between them broke (This connection was similar to a hiveminds, their consciousness connected.). The "experiment" Toy performed rebonded this connection. And in a need for vengeance and power, Baphomet ate at the potential.

First, he'd wake up in the middle of the night at the spot where his old home was. After, He nearly killed Mars in a accident at school. And finally, jumping at the chance, when Mars and Toytin were playing a video game together Baphomet sucked both of their consciousness into the game. That game he turned into a vessel, straight to hell.

Okay, okay, let me explain how it works. In this universe, or my theory is that the consciousness can be broken and ascended different dimensions. Your consciousness is the only thing in your body that doesn't go by pattern, it's ideas are completely natural. So, with a disconnected consciousness. A force in another dimension could possibly take you -If your mind broke enough.-

1 - After like a year of slowburn and then becoming not just friends but not yet lovers™ they have a big fight and then kiss in a forest

When Val is abt to confess, Jack was so scared of being in a relationship again since Jenny he kinda self sabotoged and told her he never wanted to see her again and stuff. he has like a monster complex or something he was really afraid of hurting her.

Anyways after their breakup before they even started dating™ something rlly bad happens to Jack. i havent really figured out what happens yet, but he's like in a coma for some reason and theres a chance he might never wake up 💔 and then while Valerie is crying in his forest he manages to wake up with the power of love and friendship and then he runs to find her and then he's out of breath and they stare at each other for like 2 minutes and then they make out 😈

3 - Kind of friends?

After Val became a proxy and Jeff's eye healed from her stabbing him, she apologized and gave him a box of cigarettes when she mustered up the courage lol. The cigarettes were all just ones she found on the ground so when Jeff opens the box he's like "is this girl serious" bc he can't smoke those 😭 He 100% thought she was being mean to him but before he can say anything he sees her face and its pretty clear she's being genuine. She was a very sheltered as a child and any type of "bad" behavior she wasn't really taught much about so she didn't know anything about cigarettes.

Anyways after that Jeff is like "I can't smoke these but thanks ig" and things are still a bit awkward but theres not really any tension between them anymore. Eventually they get paired up for a mission and they get a bit closer yayay

Valerie is mostly just extremely curious about Jeff. Like he's the polar opposite of what she was raised to be when she was alive. She's never really seen anyone like him before which is why she's so fascinated by him. Hopefully that makes sense :P

In my au, proxies usually die and then stay that age forever. They're like kind of immortal in the sense they can't really pass on, but they don't age. Like mentally or physically.

So when Val becomes a proxy at 19 she doesn't really grow any older. Theres not a canon version of her thats older than 19 years old.

7. very very rarely i feel a kind of melancholy towards my bodily species. i feel like the animal i am most of the time.

8. you dont need to cling onto one species. you dont have to choose. youre not weird or wrong for experiencing multiple animals, even if theyre polar opposites. they are all part of you, and how you express that is your choice. some will pass, some will stay. its all part of the journey.

9. i have a handful of collars, which is the easiest way for me to get some euphoria. however I'm thinking of ankle bracelets, like those tracking bracelets some birds have. i also bought my first kind of mask (puphood, only the muzzle part). its hard to find bird stuff but it definitely makes me happy to look more animalistic at all. be creative with it!

I'm very simple with the psychological approach. i was dehumanized and lack of social development lead me to disconnecting with both myself and the social hierarchy to the point i feel entirely outside of humanity. religion and spiritual beliefs can "cause" one to start experiencing shifts too. most of us are neurodivergent or labeled "different" from the get go, which may make someone lean into therianthropy to cope and live life.

Anti-Matter, Annihilation, and Combustion

I've been studying up on Anti-Matter and Annihilation (when an anti-particle touches a particle they explode into light.)

And I've come up with a theory...

Anti-Matter is basically the same as matter but constructed in an upsidedown state. With a completely polar opposite charge. So; where there's electrons there's prositrons; where theres protons there leptons; where there's neutrons; there's also a neutron, but it's built with quarks that have opposite charges but still equate to neutral.

So we've created a molecular structure that seems to look and behave like hydrogen, but is this inverse anti-hydrogen build.

When it touches normal hydrogen, they both annihilate into a burst of light. Recorded as photons. And, seemingly; nothing is left over.

But that is a seeming betrayal to the first law of dynamics which says "energy cannot be created or destroyed."

This is further expanded to include matter, because matter and energy are often synonymous.

We have a similar mechanism to annihilation on the non-quantum level we know of as "Combustion". This is when things burn or explode, or even simply change state.

Here's the theory; When Combustion happens, what's actually happening is an excitation of the matter and fuel--creating Anti-Matter, which then annihilates with the surrounding matter, causing that heat and light and whatever other energy to be released similar to the photons recorded in the Anti-Matter experiments.

As we know; when matter combusts it changes form somehow. Wood turns to coal which eventually becomes ash; while simultaneously releasing energy on the electromagnetic spectrum as heat and light.

What this *might* suggest is that what we call *fire* is actually a chemical reaction that creates Anti-Matter, and the continued burning is from the structures trying to stabilize into a more homeostatic form.

What does this mean if there is an entire galaxy made up of Anti-Matter? Would we all annihilate if we touched each other like in the movie [Time Cop] from 1994?

Or, is it reasonable to assume that *regular matter* is just the least volatile construction, and hence why we have so much of it?

Does Anti-Matter itself induce combustion until releasing enough energy to leave a dead rock-like husk?

My assumption is that any planet, to us matter-based-beings; would simply look like burning, or potentially.... Like a star.

Dean’s list of sins is crazy long because of how long the show ran, but the key thing for me is that post-locking Sam in the bunker (season 4 I think?), I just can’t enjoy their relationship anymore. I normally love their sibling dynamic, but Dean’s ultimate worst past-the-point-of-no-return moment for me was demonizing (pun intended) his little brother for being “addicted” to demon blood, which only happened because of a series of events that were either Dean’s or someone else’s fault, not Sam’s. Five is a cut up between Kaz and Wylan. He would like Wylan as they are both science brained and happily talk back to authority figures despite being physically smaller. And I can also see Five respecting Kaz for his ability to be 3 steps ahead of the enemy and figuring out impossible tasks whilst not shying away from using violence when necessary. Fives least favourite would be Nina. Shes too loud and lacks finesse and a history of going rogue which he would consider a liability on missions.

Ben 1.0 I feel would like Nina especially after her grisha powers are changed into something that feels monstrous and that she doesnt know how to control. Much like how Ben 1.0 felt about his powers. He also came across as shy so Ninas confidence and ability to get people out of their shell would work well with him. Also something to add, as a twin, there are going to be communication issues between twins. We don't know what each other is feeling or is going to say or their real intention or whatever bullshit. We are going to be mean to each other, intentionally or not.

This could entirely be a me thing, but sometimes, Ill take my anger out on her because im angry for some other reason but can take it out there, and she does the same. We physically fight each other and we throw insults and we argue like siblings. Write twins having fights. Petty fights. Big fights. Whatever just write them fighting, arguing. Write them nice. Also this is a personal thing but dont ask twins "whats it like being a twin?" not cause its annoying, theres just no answer for that. If you want to write realistic twins, please im begging you don't fall into the tropes of "they are exactly the same" or "they are polar opposites". Theres nuance!!! Me and my twin share a lot in common. We also share things we disagree with. Its not one side or the other.

Hi. I'm a twin and I hate when authors write twins inaccurately or people make incorrect assumptions about us, so I made this post.

We are two different people. Do not assume twins are clones of each other. We have different interests and styles, despite having a lot in common.

We also have physical subtle differences. I am a different height than my twin and our face shapes are slightly different.

We cannot feel each others pain and we cannot read each other's minds. I also do not know where she is all the time. I do not have a GPS built in my head specifically to pinpoint where she is at all times. Yes, we have a very deep emotional connection and bond but we do not have super powers.

We do not know what the other is going to say. Occasionally, we accidentally say the same thing at the same time, but we cannot predict what the other will say.

We do not fit into the stupid boxes you want to put us in. There is no "good" or "evil" twin. There is no "smarter" twin. Do not compare twins in this way, it creates self-esteem issues (coming from the twin who was put into the "evil" and "less smart" boxes). Because I was constantly compared to and pitted against my twin, I feel like everything in my life will never measure up because she's "better than me".

We are not always attached at the hip. We can exist outside of each other. Just because I am not with my twin, does not mean there is a crisis or something is wrong. I just did not want to go to the event and she did. The first question out of your mouth when you see my sister without me, or visa versa, should not be "where is your twin?". Ask how the one in front of you is doing first. See them as an individual and not a half of a whole.

So fair warning I am going to go absolutely bananas at you because I have zero faith in my ability to be coherent about this ship, but PLEASE let me know your thoughts on Bunny/Andrew, they started as a laugh but now they're the OTP and I would love to know your thoughts

(Me explaining the layers of Bunny/Andrew)

So insane statement number one: what I love about Bunny and Andrew is how dialectical they are. Pure perfect yin yang of a couple, mirror images in every way.

While Ralph and Andrew are often described this way, I don't think that's entirely accurate- they are actually extremely similar characters, both physically (blonde, light eyed) and in bearing, both are 19 when Laurie first kisses them. But where Andrew is young and seemingly untouched by life's troubles (SEEMINGLY, he is very much touched), his clear eyed pragmatism becomes cynical pessimism in Ralph, who's been beaten, isolated, and damaged.

Where Andrew and Ralph are continuous, bleeding into each other in Laurie's narrative, Andrew and Bunny are polar opposites. Andrew is not consciously gay, pure, virtuous, honest to a fault. Bunny is overtly self-consciously gay, indulgent, gossipy, mean spirited, totally willing to fight dirty. If Andrew is untouchable, Bunny is getting his handprints all over him. And the way they come together!! Although Andrew and Laurie have kissed and begun to talk about things, it's Bunny storming up to Andrew and yelling "I FUCKED YOUR CRUSH WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO ABOUT IT" that really makes it real, that brings blood into it. Andrew awakens to his sexual identity through his love for Laurie, but it's jealousy of "Ralph"/Bunny that pulls the trigger!

Just excerpting the part of Andrew's letter that deals directly with Bunny's interaction with him.

I want you to know it is true if he says that when I hit him it wasn’t even self-defense. There is a belief, which I expect he shares, that a pacifist who has behaved like this must see at once his ideas were wrong. I should have thought there could hardly be a better way of proving they were right. But if that were all I had to tell you, of course I could have written days ago.

...Well, about Ralph. He isn’t like I imagined, so I found it hard to picture you and him as great friends. When he told me it was much more than that, I felt—I don’t know a better way of expressing this—as if I’d had an anonymous letter. I got one once, after my Board. It is like something from another world, but it has touched you, and the touch is real. So then he said why did I pretend to be shocked when I was only jealous; and that was when I hit him.

He didn’t hit me back, he just laughed and walked off. He had a right to. I knew before he was even out of sight that there could be only one reason for what I did. What he had said about me was true. He wanted to see what I would do, I suppose, and I did what he expected. But it taught me something. The thing you want to kill is really in yourself. That is why people become cruel in war, because they are doing what I did.

Screaming, howling, recognition of the self through other, etc. Me fighting the sleepies to elaborate on these thoughts, that essentially come down to the lack of animus Andrew holds towards Bunny, despite everything, and the insight suggested here that Bunny's bad behavior is driven more by jealousy, fear, and loneliness then malice.

Anyway anyway ANYWAY the insane Andrew Epic I AM still working on it WILL be done one day has really come to focus on Bunny/Andrew in resolving what does it mean to be faithful?

Ok, so starting at the beginning of the outline- Andrew is working as a stretcher bearer in London during the Blitz. He runs into Bunny, who he still thinks is Ralph, and attempts to reconcile with him. Bunny is still bitter and heartbroken, and continues messing with him, ultimately culminating in Andrew losing his virginity in a very awkward hook up Andrew is wrestling with the very serious question I will purposefully phrase humorously, "How do I have gay sex in a god honoring way?" and Bunny is driven absolutely apoplectic by the perceived hypocrisy of this, and by Andrew continuously coming back to him no matter how catty he gets. As they start to build a real relationship, Bunny starts to realize he's in too deep and worries if he reveals he's not really Ralph Lanyon, Andrew will leave him.

There is a LOT of middle plot I have outlined and partially written- Andrew goes on the front lines with the ambulance service as he writes about and loses contact with Bunny for a time (Bunny gives him a whole song and dance about censors and military intelligence, rather than trying to explain why he can't address letters to Ralph Lanyon), they reconnect after the war and try and make a go of it, but it gets way to real and intense for Bunny, who gets skittish and walks out without telling Andrew anything. Andrew freaks out, fearing that "Ralph" has been arrested or killed, and encounters homophobia when he tries to file a missing person report on his "roommate". After talking with Dave, he goes to serve in a mission hospital in Kenya (fun facts, there are more Quakers in Kenya then anywhere else in the world, and I am actively debating how much to get into about the late colonial atrocities that occured there at this time period).

In 1950ish, Andrew once more runs into Bunny, and is so relieved to see him alive and well that it shocks Bunny, who assumed he'd be furious if they ever saw each other again. Bunny successfully dodges questions, continuing to pass himself off as Ralph- at first justifying it to himself by saying he doesn't want to ruin Andrew's relief or his memories, that he wants to let him down gently this time, etc, but he keeps putting off either breaking off with him or telling him the truth because he likes the escape from being himself, likes the way it feels to be loved by Andrew, tries to pretend he's not in love himself. Bunny is genuinely frustrated by Andrew's increasingly public role as a peace/nuclear disarmament activist, the potential scrutiny it could attract, the judgment he feels compared to Andrew's high moral standards, etc. Andrew is genuinely annoyed with "Ralph"'s caginess, his refusal to commit or meet Andrew's friends or introduce Andrew to his, etc.

In 1960, something genuinely bad happens to Bunny- he's outed in some way and is arrested/fired, I'm working out the details. He has nothing left but the half-life he's been maintaining with Andrew. At this point it comes to a head, and Andrew finds out the truth. He's initially completely broken by the news and is heartbroken and furious that the man he's been in love with for almost 20 years has never once told the truth, has never even told him his name... But then. The reframe. Andrew has always expected things from Bunny, but Bunny just wanted Andrew to be himself. Andrew has been living his own life, regardless of how it made Bunny feel, while Bunny willingly gave up his entire identity to be with Andrew. Is Andrew a hypocrite, or does he love Bunny unconditionally, regardless of who he is or what he's done? Who is really the faithful one, Andrew who has only ever had one lover, or Bunny who kept coming back, trusting in Andrew even though he had no reason to?

As Andrew tries to articulate this, Bunny things he's given his lover a nervous breakdown and sticks him in the bath with a glass of whiskey and calls Alec to calm him down.

At that point they're able to have a real, honest relationship. Andrew brings Bunny to the meeting and comes out- he gets disfellowshipped for his troubles, but takes it sanguinely because "God knows I love you." The notoriety he gets here puts him in touch with "like-minded" Quakers, I have a reconciliation between them, Ralph, and Laurie, it'll be cozy.

But yeah, these are all the thoughts about Bunny/Andrew I can gather tonight. Normal people project normal trauma onto their blorbos, I've got an unpublished word doc that is half gay sex half narrativized commentary on the Letter to the Romans 😂

But please please PLEASE let me know your own thoughts- the TLDR about all this blathering is I love the contrast between Andrew and Bunny, the potential for drama, and how Andrew in canon is most himself when faced with adversity and the natural challenges Bunny would bring would depend and mature his character, while I think Andrew could be an affectionate, patient lover who could be really good for Bunny's insecurities. What do you think could draw these two together??

(Also I headcanon Bunny's name is Barnaby Botts. is he sorta chaotic when it comes to driving? yes— he most likely is

a very passive aggressive driver, which is different from being a reckless/aggressive driver

he knows that being an aggressive driver is bad, especially since you’re in the car

(but.. this is bakugou katsuki, what are you expecting??)

he’ll probably curse at people that don’t know what they’re doing on the road, or just.. slow pedestrians

he’ll be that person that’s like “OLD LADY! WALK FASTER DAMN IT” but if you ask him a question, he’ll be like

“what??” in such a calm voice, bc he’s such a simp for you

anyways— it’s your turn to drive, because he’s quite beat from the day’s work.

and usually, he’s the driver in the relationship— so he hasn’t really seen you drive before

until now that is

YOU’RE THE POLAR OPPOSITE OF YOUR USUAL SELF WHEN YOU’RE DRIVING

you have the aux cord because driving privileges— and you’re blasting loud music while you’re driving

you’re on the thinnest ice when it comes to the speeding limit— any further and you’re going to get a ticket

which isn’t ideal since katsuki’s tired okay??

he’ll be like “SHIT- SLOW DOWN Y/N! DO YOU WANNA KILL US BOTH??!”

he gets so close to passing out when he thinks you’re about to hit something with the car

anyways, your driving privileges get snatched from you— and you only drive when you really need to from now on

compared to the other two, he’s actually a good driver— and he’s pretty standard when it comes to driving

speeding? never heard of her.

but he will be blasting some music, so i hope you like mother mother

when it comes to who’s driving— the both of you guys take turns, but for obvious reasons, tokoyami drives more

when you drove the car for the first time, tokoyami and dark shadow were convinced that they were both going to die 💀

and they were also very shocked by the sudden turn of your personality— since you’re very.. sweet and chill (usually)

he’s tugging at the seat belt, as you go faster— cackling as you drive the car even faster

“s-songbird,” tokoyami stutters, and dark shadow is holding onto him at this point “s-slow down..!”

also very worried that you’ll go past the speeding limit, getting yourself in trouble 🗿

he’s practically saying his last words at this point, and you can only laugh as you arrive to your destination

please don’t challenge people to races— his soul will probably leave his body if you do that

eventually, he’ll get used to it. but he’ll make sure to buckle up beforehand— before things get too intense and chaotic.

then, he’ll grow to love this side of you— and he’ll be practically unfazed when the signs of you speeding start to grow.

shinsou hitoshi

he’s a mix of both of them tbh. when he’s agitated, he’ll be a little passive aggressive on the road

but there are times where you guys are just relaxing, while he drives the car.

okay but i’m a firm believer that he does the hand thing™️ in the car

when it comes to who’s driving? you both also take turns, but surprise surprise!

you’re the one that drives more in the relationship. (not that he doesn’t drive)

when you offer to drive, shinsou will be like “hm, are you sure?” not that he doesn’t think you’ll know how to drive

but it’s because he wants to drive for you, y’know?

but you kindly reassure him that you want to drive.

BUT HE’S IN FOR A SURPRISE

you start blasting loud music, and before shinsou can say anything— you press on the gas

shinsou’s taken aback from the sudden feral personality of his sweet, and laid back s/o

(though it doesn’t really look like it)

he’s gripping on the dashboard, tugging at his seatbelt, it’s not very subtle—

and he can only watch in awe as you drive past things swiftly (but lowkey dangerously)

when you guys reach your destination, he’s just.. silent for a moment

he needs to process everything lol. any further and y’all could’ve gotten a speeding ticket

he’s not so concerned about the speeding ticket but he’s just thinking

wow, my s/o’s really hot

“you didn’t tell me that you were that kind of driver”

“oh?” you turn to him, unbuckling your seat belt “is that a problem?”

“no,” he smirks— “i surprisingly like it.”

and that’s how you get more turns when it comes to driving, but no— you still don’t have the aux cord.

that’s the cost of driving with such chaos

he’s very unfazed by your driving after the first time, he adapts to things like that pretty easily.

and he can only watch in admiration

he won’t stop you from racing anyone, but shinsou will definitely encourage you to be safe.
