also: the Tajima-Mihashi and Abe-Mihashi dynamics. Just. IT’S SO AMAZING TO SEE EVERY TIME.

Tajima, who has no trouble understanding Mihashi, LITERALLY THE TEAM’S MIHASHI TRANSLATOR, TajiMiha literally sharing a braincell LIKE 95% OF THE TIME, them being EQUALS AND RESPECTING EACH OTHER AND ONE ANOTHER’S ABILITIES, but not yet a fully working battery, they are fresh as a newborn fawn.

AND IN CONTRAST, Abe fckin Takaya, who WORKS SO HARD TO JUST GET IN THE SAME PAGE WITH MIHASHI, CONSTANTLY WORKING ON HOW TO COMMUNICATE WITH MIHASHI, soing everything in HIS POWER TO MAKE MIHASHI GAIN SOME SELF-CONFIDENCE but in such a way that it constantly relies on Abe, the imbalance THERE, YET SUCH A WELL-WORKING BATTERY, OILED AND PRACTICED-

A thing that I find funny is the fact that, ironically, Percy Jackson has some parallels with JASON FUCKIN TODD (why? No idea)

They both have appearances that are similar when described

They both have ppl who get afraid of them(Percy being described as "Fighting like a devil" in one of the books that aren't from his POV, and Jason being Jason)

Silvyr Art Dump - Extended lore for them and their Domain below the cut.

Diplomat of Volica and Advisor to the Usurper King, Silvyr is a former captain who aided the current King in dethroning the previous royals and banishing the corrupt council/nobles. They were the strategeist behind the coup.

With the previous council gone, and subsequent shortage of expertise, they duel wield roles to keep the Domain running. Sharp in mind and calculative by nature, they leave nothing to chance.

Volica is currently experiencing a food shortage due to over harvesting of nearby reefs by the former nobles & council, who were exporting all their food for profit. They are thus pursuing trade negotions to secure more food.

The Domain itself is located on a cliff that borders the ocean. With a dormant underwater volcano somewhat nearby to mine from, their Domain is rich in minerals and metallic ores commonly used in the production of weapons/accessories.

Volcano ---> Volica (Domain name is derived from the nearby Volcano, their most valuable resource, and the reason for the Domain's existence, as it was founded by a small group of zoran miners! Mining is the largest profession in the Domain, and is integral to their livelihood. They love that fckin volcano so much.)

History:

The former Lead Captain and strategist of Volica's royal zoran knights and warrior faction. On the battlefield they were a force to be reckoned with, fighting exclusively with ice magic.

With fighting occupations being the least favored in the Domain in terms of enrollment, and the Domain itself in a difficult location to guard (cliff face), Silvyr made the ultimate sacrifice to ensure they could protect their home from land based monster attacks (see Silvyr's Chosen Giant - Lifespan sacrifice).

This resulted in them feeling especially slighted when the zora of Volica began to suffer beneath the corrupt royals/nobles. Nyvor's sentence, Thresh's departure (both of whom were close friends), and the lack of improvement after the corrupt noble was slain (who was initially thought to be the source of the problem), brewed such contempt within Silvyr's heart they began planning the coup.

Ice Magic (Origins):

Silvyr descends from a long line of prideful water magic users. Yet unlike their predecessors, Silvyr struggled during their youth with their abilities. Ever flowing, always changing, the flexibility of understanding required to control water was something Silvyr lacked. This came as a devastating blow to their family.

Yet determined to succeed, they endlessly practiced, pushing themselves to their utmost limits. In an attempt to make the water more structured, they began to fix it in place, unknowingly all the way down to the molecular level, until suddenly, it turned to ice. Thus unlocking ice magic.

Silvyr's Ice magic abilities are dampened when in water, which is why they feel better in underwater environments!

Volica & The Termania Giants:

Many in Volica worship the Giants of Termania. Though Termania is located in a parallel world (per Majora's Mask lore), it is said you can contact the giants during sleep, when the veils between realms are the thinnest. If you sacrifice something of yourself, the giant may grant you amplified abilities. The origins of who brought the legend of the giants to Volica, and the zora who established first contact, is unknown.

Silvyr's Chosen Giant:

Silvyr is favored by the Goron Giant. To protect their Domain, they self sacrificed 100 years of their lifespan to the Giant in exchange for an insane magic amplification.

Side Effects:

Excessive use of powerful ice magic may result in adverse side effects, contact your healer if you experience any of the following: Migraines, muscle aches, lowered body temperature, inability to regulate said body temperature, low sanity episodes, lock jaw, fin cracks, excessive consumption of spicy foods, dizziness, shortened life span, chills-

Nowadays, due to the above side effects, Silvyr only uses ice magic during times of need or for petty retributions (such as freezing the feet of someone that pissed them off to the ground, worth the subsequent headache).

Hand Symbols:

Started using hand symbols during their youth while wielding ice cause they thought it looked cool. Now it genuinely helps them concentrate and they're super embarrassed about it.

Voted Best Cuddler in Volica:

Due to their lowered body temperature Silvyr feels perpetually cold when on land, and (to a lesser degree) in water. As a result they can ALWAYS be found cuddling other zora(s) for warmth while sleeping. Everyone in the Domain loves it, no complaints.

When around strangers, Silvyr will initiate contact with a gentle touch to the arm, silently requesting the others companionship. If accepted, that zora WILL be cuddled till morning.

Additional Facts:

-Overheated zoras fresh from the volcanic mines often seek Silvyr out for a hug cause they feel so cold to the touch. Results in a dog pile (fish pile?) sometimes.

-LOVES spicy food. Will straight up eat a bag of RAW ghost peppers and be completely unbothered.

-Commonly seen wearing a fur lined cloak for warmth when on land.

-Doesn't overly emote unless exasperated, stressed, or during low sanity episodes. Zoras in Volica have an ongoing scoreboard of who has gotten Silvyr to smile the most. Thresh is currently leading (and is very smug about it).

For every "This rouge should've been Batman's nemesis" post I see, I sigh in disappointment because like yes Bruce's rouges gallery is filled with villains that either are great distillations of Gothams underworld or great dark parallels/contrasts to himself... but there's a fckin' reason why that clown is as overused as he is!

The other rouge's at least have some level of undeniable humanity to them, even if it's the petty or vile kind of humanity. This isn't even mentioning the whole difference between the villains that lean into their aesthetics being more "supernatural," the criminals that are just serial killers with gimmicks, inherently ridiculous fiends, thieves, Riddler, mobsters with gimmicks, and more.

Joker has been at the top of all of that since the 1940's for one reason and one reason alone. He's the purest opposite of Batman. Bruce dresses up as a symbol of fear, Joker's stuck looking like a clown. Bruce has his personal opinions on taking lives, Joker's remorseless. Bruce is a drama queen in a goth sense, Joker's a theater kid who likes black comedy that would make regular sickos vomit. Bruce tries hard to be scary, Joker doesn't. Bruce can actually be badass, Joker will trip and fall on his ass. Bruce has a concrete origin that defines him, Joker just exists. Bruce uses his wits and resources to actually do good, Joker uses his wits and resources to pull shit like this:

Yes, I will admit the clown has been used a lot and has some shit variants, but when done right he's an undeniable classic that's deserving of being at the top of the rouges gallery.

Haikaveh is one of the most intentionally teased pairings i’ve seen in genshin like. they have had 2 DIFFERENT AUESR which reference a love story that both fit the character archetypes found it in, both have references to a greek god used to represent gay people in their kits, both characters literally parallel Kaveh’s parents

Beiguang has had in game flirting, and Ning’s opinion on her costume changes depending on if you’ve done the lantern rite in which Beidou compliments the dress, in which she’ll say she likes the dress if you have and will say she feels a bit more insecure in it if you haven’t and there is no possible way that’s accidental.

Cynari is quite literally raising a child together, had shared a tent in cyno’s 2nd story, act incredibly domestic with each other, etc (i’m way too something to research….)

Yingxing and Dan Feng (specifically NOT their current versions, i’ nit talking abt them lol…i like kafblade more then blade and dan heng) um so firstly jingliu had told dan heng that his past self was the closest to yingxing compared to the other 4 in the quintet. and like they had also drank together runder the moonlight which is damn. and also they had made bracers out of materials that only the vidyehara dragon race had which meant that dan heng that purposely made this and had a telepathic connection AND that they had been able to keep track of the others warmth- AND they had matching earrings which were said in other in game text to have been given between lovers so like. AND (YES, MORE) THAT YINGXING MADE DAN FENG’S SPEAR AND THAT HE LIKED HE SO MUCH HE GOT HIS STATUE ALTERED TO INCLUDE IT WHICH- LIke- fuck. this was not meant to be that long.

Hi! Would you like to explain how my portrayal of vsynths contrasts with Heron? I personally can’t figure out what makes it so interesting, since when I make Heron interact with other vsynths I rarely have a good idea of how they’ll work in mind, and just wing it.

hihi! i'd been meaning to get to this, so sure thing! for now i'll only focus on a few main ones that came to mind (i don't have a lot of brainpower atm 😔✌️) but i hope this is alright

mild disclaimer that some of this is based off information in older posts so i am aware that those prior details contained in them may no longer be canon. also again this just how i thought of/interpreted certain things, i'm obv not the og creator (you) so ultimately feel free to take this w/ a grain of salt since this might've not been the og intention.

also this is all under this cut here b/c it ended up being rly fckin long, sorry in advance if my explanations aren't very good 😭

so lets start w/ fukase; some of his character traits in your portrayal of him do seem to line up with some popular interpretations of him: silly guy/wisecracker who makes a lot of jokes, sometimes at the expense of others. also a he's a bit overdramatic ahdksjg. despite his sorta skewed goals, though, and behind that sassy attitude, he does really seem to care about people important to him. they're both very expressive characters (well in general everyone is depicted as very expressive in your art but thats an aside) but i think the way that is conveyed makes for an interesting contrast. fukase seems to show a lot more of his personality through his speech, while heron's personality is shown more through some of his actions. that's not to say heron is completely silent, but he does seem to save his words for more important occasions (or if he just really really feels like speaking his mind); whether that's because he's still a bit shy and/or just a quiet person in general, i'm not sure, but a lot more things with him seem to be conveyed through thoughts or external third-person commentary rather than him outright saying it. its definitely the opposite of fukase, who seems way more chatty and social. visually too there's a pretty neat contrast between them: aside from the height difference that sets them apart, both have limited color palettes that combine some neutral colors (fukase's off-white, black, and brown, heron's greys, muted teal, and tans) with a brighter color to pop out (fukase's bright red, heron's aqua seen on his collar + headphones).

flower and heron's relationship has previously been described as somewhat sibling-like, and it does definitely come off that way: there might be disagreements and rivalry but there's some calm nice/silly moments and genuine care & concern. they share a lot of similarities, but one could note how their relationship parallels that of heron & makarov's - flower occasionally takes on the more cheery and bubbly role in comparison to heron sometimes being the more serious and quiet one, which is seen reversed with the brothers. in spite of quarreling over small, petty little things sometimes, heron and flower seem to make up much easier and not hold any long-lasting resentment towards each other. i ofc know the heron & makarov situation is more complicated and it would make sense for it to be more strained given all that's happened, even in spite of heron forgiving his brother. but i do also wonder if it's been difficult for flower to try and calm heron down on certain occasions, seeing how he's also prone to spirals of his own thoughts that are hard to pull him out of, in a way very similar to his own brother. something sorta ironic there maybe

piko's interesting, pretty much the wild card here. his characterization does seem to vary quite a bit: he can be very playful and cutesy but also kind of a downer, as well as an angry little guy and a bit more ominous/spooky at times. there was a noteworthy point mentioned in this post though regarding how piko sees heron: heron reminds him of his younger self and wants to spare him of the pain that comes with getting your naive dreams of fame and popularity crushed. they're both very similar to each other, from the moodiness to being drawn—sometimes together—in a lot of pieces w/ similar subject matter (both have a fair share of lighthearted doodles as well as darker ones, more so in specific comparison with other characters), and taking the previously mentioned piko thoughts on heron, makes things a little bit sadder... maybe piko's current passive-aggressive and somewhat angry attitude is a mask he's developed over the years to protect himself from getting hurt more, though you can get to his nicer side if he trusts you enough. heron sometimes seems like a slight, cruel opposite of this: being nice and trusting others a bit too easily, but then breaking down emotionally in realizing his choices and impulsive actions, which might scare some people away. i want them to be happy kajhskj but i do wonder if, in spite of how much heron might look up to him, piko really feels the same way. i'm sure he does care about him, but... feelings is complicated. also i wasn't gonna touch on too much of this since i'm aware its not canon, but there's also the whole tall piko thing and how that version of piko specifically interacts with heron. that relationship in particular seems to represent an idealization: some sort of true happiness that'll come once there's an acceptance of the self, and a real willingness to accept help and be vulnerable to allow oneself to be healed... but again that's not canon and might not ever happen so, rip

and of course... there's len. i touched upon this in that original headcanon post but i did still wanna bring it up a little here. something i thought was interesting in looking back at a lot of your art was that most times, len is depicted in group settings; he's rarely seen alone and almost always interacting with someone else in some way. and generally he seems quite concerned, even more so in his interactions w/ heron. aside from the obvious fear of getting mauled to death probably lmao, he also seems to genuinely care about heron and worries about him. i think its worth noting that len is the first person heron sees after "waking up" here, and how he's the only one actually putting a hand on heron there in second-to-last panel. but again, even if len does have good intentions it is clear heron doesn't seem to be on the best terms with him. this piece has always been particularly intriguing to me, pairing what we see happening with the title. makes me think heron's blaming len for what happened to him, that it's len's fault somehow he ended up like this. a big thing also that's part of the len getting mauled thing is... len getting dismembered and eaten. i'm not gonna say too too much b/c i'm sure nobody wants to hear my cannibalism rambling but symbolically... "you are what you eat" yk? as mentioned with piko, heron seems to look up to a lot of the well-known vsynths and wants to achieve a status like them. and ofc len's arguably one of the most popular vocaloids with lot of fame and recognition. heron's design itself is said to take some inspo from len's outfit, and in general (like i mentioned in the original hc post), just wanting to be so much like someone, wanting what they have but not getting it, that might understandably drive someone to rage, and the mauling/dismembering/eating is the violent culmination of those feelings of envy. one last bonus point in terms of visuals too: yellow is the complimentary color to blue (ok ik heron's blues lean more towards blue-grey or aqua but shhhh), the literal opposite of it on the color wheel.

overall i feel heron honestly fits right in with the memesquad; everyone's personalities sort of compliment and mesh well with each other, which creates a fun dynamic that's really sweet to see. i think its really cool how you managed to make him fit in so well and how a lot of his interactions with the others make a lot of sense and are interesting to see, in happy moments as well as more serious/sad ones. sometimes i do really forget he's not a vsynth [yet?] so its surreal. ur doing a really good job tho, keep heronposting we love to see it

Hi hi, how are you?

Could you write an Aegon fic with the reader where she is pregnant with their first child (a girl)? But while the reader is in labor, it's being too risky, so when she asks everyone to leave, she leaves shortly after her room and as she passes through the hallway where Aegon's family is waiting for the news, they see her heading in. towards the garden, where the dragon is. The reader is afraid of dying during labor, so she asks her dragon Moraxx to set fire on her, Dracarys, but at the time Aegon appears and manages to prevent it, and in that, the birth ends up happening right there and everything ends up fine.

Aegon was never acknowledged to be a loyal, dependable, trustworthy kind of person. The youthful prince is commonly portrayed as a womanizer, drunkard, and generally irrational person who has no desire to ascend to the throne. Of course, no one outside of the Red Keep is aware of the latter.

So you can imagine Alicent's astonished expression when her son asks to cancel the wedding with his sister and instead desires to be engaged to you, (Y/N), of a House who are loyal to Viserys and his heir Rhaenyra.

This did not sit well with Alicent, who perceived it as another ploy by Aegon to get her sympathy. Alicent was horrified that her son might be bewitched by you. Even after he promised to control his urges and impulsiveness, she still forbade it.

Even so, Aegon pursued you and planted a baby inside of you behind the Queen's back. Alicent became aware of this two months into the pregnancy. She considered giving moon tea, but Aegon saw right through her and argued with his mother about the upsetting idea. By drinking it, it could not only kill the babe but you as well, and he wouldn't forgive his mother for that.

When Aegon turned 180° during five months, Alicent gradually came to terms with the pregnancy and the request for bethrotal. This was acquired when Aegon, as his mother would have wanted, would study and get ready for the probable day of his reign. Aegon did not like doing this, but if it meant being with you, he would do everything.

You and Alicent were not necessarily close just because she welcomed you into the family. There were some pure moments in which Alicent prepped you for your first foray into parenting, albeit there were a few fake smiles thrown in because of your lineage and which side it was on.

As your belly grew bigger and bigger, Aegon's fixation with infedelity and other things gradually faded away. From a sour teenager to a tender-hearted, loving father. Yes, he would still occasionally flirt at court, but he would compensate for it by spending time bonding with you after his lessons and crafting an embroidered handkerchief by hand out of his new passion. (Helaena taught him, but Aegon wouldn't admit it. The man was too prideful.)

One month earlier than predicted, the water broke. Aegon and the Greens became concerned about a potential miscarriage as a result.

Your wails can be heard in the back, Aegon cried at the top of his voice, "Do something!" His fists seized the collars of the Maester as he awoke just a few minutes ago. "You bald piece of shit, I'll let you taste something worse than childbirth if you make any mistakes!"

Midnight was when it occurred. As you arched your back in agony, your face was drenched in sweat. You were in excruciating pain, and Aegon's yelling and threats did not help. Your lady in waiting was standing next to you, wiping your sweat and encouraging you softly as you tried to push once more before howling.

Ser Criston, a well-known knight, trudged into the room, saying, "My prince, her grace requests your audience first at council."

"She never liked (Y/N), and now she wants me to miss the birth of my child? Is she fuckin' crazy? What the fuck does that bitch want?"

The white-cloaked knight said casually, "I advise you both discuss this one out, my prince."

Before Aegon could proceed to step out of the door against his own will, he softened when he heard your pleas, crying out for his name. "A-Aegon..."

"My love?" Just by hearing his name, he rushed towards your side. He knelt next to you and gently stroked your hands.

"Please don't leave." Your eyes were red, as was your nose. Aegon was always sensitive regarding his feelings, whether it be anger or sadness. So, seeing you in this position, begging and hurting, he couldn't help but start to weep as well.

His other hand supported your head while his thumb wiped away your tears, saying, "I won't. I'll come back quickly."

"Please don't..." you weakly muttered.

He kissed your forehead and murmured, "I promise," before getting up. He is aware that in order to gain their trust in this marriage, he must comply with his mother's, or rather the queen's, expectations. So he walked towards Ser Criston, but not before saying, "Avy jorrāelan", a pledge of love in High Valyrian. The words mean, 'I love you'.

"Take me to her," he growled as he walked irately past the knight.

The council's discourse was the same as it always was. Pertaining to the heirarchy and how bearing a son would support his claim to the throne. Aegon pondered if this gathering was even worth paying attention to as he fidgeted with his wedding ring, something you had suggested to Aegon. Although not traditional, he found it lovely and continued along with it amidst the disapproval of the septon.

But his worries soon became a reality as the Maester hurriedly entered the room without any introduction, drawing raised eyebrows from the small council. Aegon's heart sank when the old man said that it was either the baby's life or both the infant and the mother would perish. He hurried over to your quarters but discovered it to be empty. He learned that the midwife, who was in charge of keeping a tight eye on you, was preoccupied enough to let you pass through the door. Aegon grew furious and almost killed the poor old lady. However, this was only momentary as a stableboy entered the room in a pant and announced that he had seen you enter the garden near the horses.

On your side, only you could hear your cries for help. When you heard the maesters speak about the possibility of your baby and yourself dying in childbirth, you couldn't bring yourself to meet the stranger on the bed. You had wished for a dragon-rider's death alongside with your baby. So there you were, facing your dragon, Moraxx, as it sent a curious, beguiling glance your way.

"Dohaeris, Moraxx!" As you drew closer to the dragon, begging to be killed with fire, you yelled at it to serve you while leaving trails of blood in your wake. "Dracarys!"

"Kostilus.." you begged, your body in pain yet still holding up. "Dracarys!"

Alicent halted Aegon in his tracks before he could continue after you in the garden. She started by pressing both of her palms on her first child's face, attempting to soothe him down. However, her eyes were filled with conflicting emotions: "She won't survive this Aegon, nor the kid. I trust that you will make the right choice. It is your obligation as a husband to choose wisely."

His face showed pain and betrayal before he shook off the hands on his face as if it was mere dirt. "Screw duty, I'd rather be fucking dead with the one I love than be the crown's slave."

He entered the gates without any more words, his hair ruffled at how fast he fled inside. When he had spotted you almost laying on the floor in front of your dragon, screaming for it to burn you, he began to sprint towards you as if his life depended on it while yelling in panic, "Lykiri!" He screamed for you to calm down and stop amidst his run, "Kelītīs!"

When he eventually got to you, he assisted you up while cursing at you and shaking your shoulder vigorously. "What the fuck are you doing?!"

"Please, Aegon, please kill me, I beg you now.." You pleaded with the frightened prince.

"I wont fucking do that!"

"I can't handle it anymore, please..."

He stroked your face as you both exchanged glances. Fear, despair, and love for one another were all seen on both faces. "(Y/N), look, and listen carefully. Remember our talk when we visited Highgarden? About death and such?"

"Skoros morghot vestri?" He asked, 'What do we say to death?' it meant, though the way it was said seems like he demanded or ordered you to. When you hadn't replied and your breaths were shallow, his tears didn't stop from flowing before he asked it again, stuttering, "(Y/N),... S-Skoros morghot vestri?"

Your eyes would have almost succumbed to the haziness if it weren't for Aegon's pleading eyes and voice. With your new-found determination, you felt yourself regain a bit of energy. Using it, you held his shoulders as you forced yourself to push out the life inside of you. His eyes never left yours until you had finally felt something release inside you, and you slowly laid down on the pavement with him helping you down with worried eyes.

With a final push, the new baby was born. It wasn't a boy, but Aegon loved her regardless, as he took the baby and held it in his hand. His one hand cradled it while the other held yours. Slowly, he started with a mere chuckle before he let out an excited laugh. He shared both looks between his daughter and his wife, muttering "gevie," Beautiful, he said.

You smiled at him, taking slow breaths before giving him a loving kiss. You answered his question from before, "Tubī daor". A response in which he smiled properly before responding. "Yes, it is not today."

The maesters and a few knights were summoned to help you and the healthy infant back to your chamber. Aegon was by your side the entire time you were mending. Your husband placed a chair next to your neatly made bed and slept there as you did. You both fell into a deep slumber, holding hands. Tiredness consumed both of you as you were both woken up by the maestar on the morrow, congratulating you both on a successful birth.

"You did so well, my love." Aegon whispered as you cradled your baby in your arms before you heard your husband thank you in your shared native words. "Kirimvos, for not giving up."

You smiled before kissing him, "avy jorrāelan."

Shhh! I'm trying to develop a good habit here. These are mostly notes to self. For my stuff to become less chaotic, you know?

ONE - I've... I've started three, THREE new series in November (ohforfckssakeeee!).

a) First one is an ode to early seasons aesthetics Posting 'em twice a week (synchronised with my rewatch schedule). So far enjoooying making a set of examples of shadowplay/desat colours/overall dark vibes on DW face in every episode. Like this 🔥:

b) Second one is an attentive observation on how our baby Dean (read: s1-3/pre-Hell/pre-Cas) behaves near men. Tiny little sexuality questioning gifsets. Trying to post at least once a week (again, rewatch schedule!). Enjoying making. Too much. I mean, look that disaster:

c) Fckin THE HARDEST thing I've ever done. These fic moodboard sets are so much joy to create! But dear God, the amount of TIME and thought and nerves it takes...... Anyway, this is my personal tribute to the most honourable and hardworking (imo) people of our fandom - beloved ❤️ fic writers. Already posted two. One for my #1 beloved "Ninety One Whiskey"

And second for my #2 beloved "Four Letter Word"

And have one more in my drafts for #3. 😇 Most likely will continue to make these, although it really makes me very sad they don't get many notes... But... Well, I love what I love! So this will be a thing, for sure. Just not that regular, due to my slow reading process and... and once again, these are so fckin hard to make!)

TWO - Let's not forget Nov 5, okay? I've contributed with [ one ] & [ two ] equally freaking painful parallels gifsets and very happy with myself!

THREE - made a deancas/samwena parallels gifset finally (been living in my head for too damn long)!

FOUR - Continued to make everyone laugh with correct SPN quotes series. Made my personal fuck the finale version (barn scene, caution! but it's good)!

SEVEN - Really!!! happy my writers block fades slowly, I even managed to write a short fic . Have a few more "missing scenes" ideas in my head, probably gonna make it into a ficlet series too!

OVERALL: 35 gifsets, 3 new series, 1 fic and fcking ZERO poems (that one up doesn't count, I think!) Pretty happy with gifmaking but... Guess gotta focus on writing next month!

SORRY RANT...

Please someone tell me what was the point before I commit a hate crime. I would have been okay with the ending if it was for something meaningful. V basically gave up the 12 in season 3 she would be alright even if they don't kill them she didn't care... sometimes told people she wants to kill all of them but in the same time she was chilling throughout the whole season gave like 0 fucks.

Carolyn gave up the 12 in season 3 and what they did in season 4 is just giving her this plot because she is bored. Eve called out on that it is not for Kenny at all. So why ? She was so ready to die up until the last episode. She had an okay character development from not feeling anything to feeling stuff then back to not feeling. Why? Why fck it up ?

Why kill V ? If it was for a sacrafice as they foreshadowed so many fckin time in this season I would be a little less angry. V as Jesus but they forget that Jesus died for something. What did V die for? She did not save Eve since Eve was not the target. V did not care so deeply about the 12. And not to mention that even the creators didn't care about the 12 since they had the audacity not to show them at all. So bloody underwhelming closure to the MAIN PLOT of the season.

Also why did Eve want to take down the 12 apart from that fact it was the script. She had no motive... not at all. She destroyed her own life the 12 never actually threated her if someone did that was V. She always cared about V she only cared about V. There was not one believeable explanation why is she so obsessed since before that she never was. She was like a broken record during the whole season " kill.... the... twelve..." but why???? What was the divine meaning behind killing the 12.

I am furious about the ending but not as furious as for not telling us why is everything happening. I was a big advocate for the writing and I did enjoy it in the hope they will make sense of it all. But they did not. They left us with more questions than we had one week ago which is miraculous in a very disappointing way. It was a lazy choice not to give them any real motivation they tried to hide it but c'mon. If you make it so ambiguous that no-one understands that is not art that is bullshit.

They tried to be so poetic with all the parallels and foreshadowing but what's the point if you have no plot? "Yes it is nice this is the same setup from season one" but the difference is that I understood the motivations back then and now I don't. The tarot foreshadowing was just simply rude. I GET IT someone will die you don't have to tell me for the 3049558th time. Maybe if we did not spend so much time artistically showing water in every 20th minute or if we did not spend so much time with Pam just chilling, Carolyn just standing Yusuf existing... maybe we would have a much better closure and less angry fans.

Don't get me wrong i felt the Carolyn standing to music powerful and Pam just being there important because it gave me a vibe that it will all worth it in the end. But the truth is that we got a finger in our faces because Pam did not have such an impact to justify her scenes neither have Yusuf. And Carolyn just shrugged and forgot about all her development.

So what is the point? Sorry for the rant...
