until I see s2 imma keep daydreaming about a Stizzy flavored reunion. Ed is too heartbroken and angry to deal with Stede when he returns to the Revenge and shuts himself away in the captains cabin. Stede is forced to work as a crewmate until he is accepted back as co-Captain. He’s gained some muscle and lost a lot of he complaining-about-the-discomfort-of-physical-labor and he’s turning into a competent fucking sailor finally. And he’s not dressed like a ponce anymore and he’s working hard and obey orders. Even the ones Izzy gives to fuck with him. And Izzy sees Stede, tits barely contained in a worn shirt, blonde beard, a nice set of sailor’s crows-feet developing. And oh fuck, the idiot is handsome and not quite as idiotic anymore. And Izzy can’t just ignore him because izzy has to run the ship while Edward is hiding. And as the only one Edward trusts, Izzy is forced to be the go-between for him and Stede and pass messages. Maybe it’s not so annoying after a while because Stede is trying to avoid annoying izzy into kicking him off the ship, so the first mate is getting some damn respect from him finally.

the only explanation i can come up with for why ed is wearing leather in episode 6 is so that there can be a joke about how much work it is for stede to get him out of it

Lowkey obsessed with Ed and Stede adopting a child *cough*de-aged Izzy*cough* and at first Ed defers to Stede's experience, but over time he starts sounding more and more like Mary ("Stede, you need to play with him, you need to spend more time with him, can you read him a bedtime story? But no that one, you know it gives him nightmares") prompting Stede to run away again.

Man shoutout to Stede fucking Bonnet I am so proud of him. Going from having to ask his wife what being in love feels like, to writing the most earnest and saccharine love letters in bottles. Every day. “I long for you.” “Intertwined.” “We wrote our names on each other in permanent ink.” Kissing them before throwing them into the sea. Every day. He became the world’s biggest romantic dreamboat and he is exactly what Ed “I’m afraid I’m unlovable” Teach deserves. The classic Stede move of “I don’t know how to do this, but once I learn how to do it my own way, I’m going to completely reinvent what it means and it’s going to change lives for the better”

A bunch of marmalade, just gooped out right on the tray (he did remember the serving knife tho)

Piece of twine (it really ties the whole thing together)

A mug of coffee/tea/various pirate morning beverage for each of them

I love it. He says he's never made anyone breakfast before but he tried so hard to make it look nice. It was clearly a big deal for him that he was a little nervous about ("I panicked," he says when Stede asked about the twine). I love marmalade, myself, and that's well more than you would ever need for that much toast - he wants to make sure Stede has plenty of something he loves. This is such a sweet and earnest breakfast, I don't know how Stede didn't immediately die of the cuteness.

God. One day, they're going to be safe and happy and Ed is going to make him breakfast in bed every morning and Ed is going to be so happy about it.
