The armies of Vasselheim responded with violence and distrust because they saw the nine people who were supposed to be stopping the God-Eater about to walk the damn thing directly on to Exandria.

They didn't attack because killing Imogen would've freed Predathos, which is the one thing this entire operation & global alliance was attempting to prevent in the first place.

Yeah, I said that they were rightfully scared

And they didnt attack because the Ruiner set a precedent for not attacking

But all that? Came after BH got outed - unwillingly. They were not expecting to find an army at the secret entrance. They were not expecting the celestial/angels to just announce that she has the godeater. They didnt get a chance to really come up with a plan on "how do we bring up the plan that we decided on last minute"

Before all that, you know what Chetney said? "Turn around!" Predathos has been defeated! Youre not needed here anymore! That wasnt a threat! That was "this is not your problem anymore" statement!

BH wasnt saying "Move Bitch get out the way, Predathos is walking here". They explicitly said, predathos was defeated. you dont have a job to do anymore.

THEN the angels outed them. At which point, the situation was no longer in their hands as various folk took decisions. Thats on them.

BH wasnt pulling them into it! At least not in the five seconds that they appeared in front of them. Maybe later? Who knows! Again, it wasnt their decision anymore when the angels snitched!

So. I dont think that BH reacting poorly to an attack is in anyway an embodiment of them "power tripping" or "bullying" anyone. They reacted poorly bc they just spent all that time fighting a godeater and immediately almost died via god bc they didnt expect to find an army on their way out.

Like yes! It makes sense that the army would shoot first! But in which case dont take how BH reacts under duress as a character reference! If we can accept that its reasonable for them to be afraid and shoot first, then its reasonable for a burnt out team to react poorly to being shot at!

Sometimes! You just clash like that!

BH could have avoided all this if they had anticipated the armed forces of the gods. They might have snuck right past those soldiers instead. But that choice? Taken right out of their hands.

I just dont think that the BH interaction with the soldiers being afraid of them and BH intimidating them is in any way indicative that they're going to be "bullies" moving forward. People are taking that and spinning the perspective as if BH are now the ultimate bad guys!

They didnt even tell them about Predathos, ergo they didnt get a chance to even use Predathos as leverage!
