Sooo I have a picture of mgg as my lock screen but his face isn’t in the picture and I was wonderinggg if you could write about the girls at the bau seeing your background of your phone and it’s some guy but they don’t know it’s spencer and they ask all these questions about this mysterious secret boyfriend you have and asking to meet him and r is just like maybeeee idk knowing that they have in fact met him and maybe spencer is near by and hearing all this and is just all shy and flustered. "Woah, hubba hubba," JJ's eyes bug out at your phone screen, and Emily, forever on JJ's wavelength, snatches it out of your hands before you can properly dim the screen.

"Who is that?" Emily asks everyone's burning question, and one of Penelope's hands squeezes yours, with nails, to emphasize her urgency.

Your lock screen is a picture of Spencer's bare chest clad only in a blazer, the front open in a lewd V that showcases the dark pink kiss marks you'd spread across the smattering of wiry curls he's grown. It's not something you'd meant to flash your coworkers with, and Spencer chokes on his water while Derek hoots and hollers at it.

"There are some things that should be kept private," Rossi drawls, eyes wide and haunted as he stands, "I'm going to get Aaron and myself another refill, just in case any worse pictures get shown around the table."

Hotch laughs at the older man, amusement lining his features handsomely as the group continues to tease you.

"So, when are you bringing this guy around? Not that we'd recognize him anyways, unless he showed up shirtless with lipstick all over him."

"Derek, you-" You barely stop yourself from saying, 'you have met him', instead swerving into an easy insult, "You're the last person I want to introduce him to. You'll never let us live this down."

"None of us will." Prentiss promises, her grin wolfish, "You'll be lucky if Garcia doesn't manage to track him down using nipple-recognition software."

Your technical analyst cackles into her drink, and Spencer makes a hasty getaway.

"I need the bathroom," He paws with burning cheeks at Derek's leg, ushering the man out of his way so that he can speed-walk to the bathroom. You watch him go, hearing Hotch let out a rare laugh at his urgency.

"Poor Spence," JJ croons, "Did you see how red his face was?"

"That kid's almost thirty and I bet he can't even say the word 'sex' without blushing." Derek scoffs.

"He can't. I've seen it." Garcia confirms, "It's pathetic."

"Pathetic," You snort, but what your team hears as agreement, you mean as contradiction. Spencer was nothing close to pathetic that night- sweet and tender, yes, but pathetic, no. He'd cupped your face while you'd spread a smattering of sticky kisses across his chest, and he'd stared into your eyes when you'd taken the picture, a smile on his face even though he'd known his grin wouldn't be in frame.

"Well get all of it out now," Hotch advises, a teasing tone in his voice, "Spencer won't come back if we're still talking about it."

"I'm happy for you." Dave states, setting his and Aaron's drinks down, "But so help me, Y/N, if I ever see your boyfriend's naked torso again, I'll kill myself."

You refrain from telling Rossi he had just seen your boyfriend's bare torso, last week when Spencer had needed to be stripped of his cold, wet clothes, and thrust into a heated blanket for warmth. No one had batted an eye at his brief nudity, and neither had you, because you'd memorized every inch of his skin. You didn't need to ogle him; you could recall his body from memory.

"I'll keep that in mind." You nod at Rossi sagely, "Just don't go through the rest of my camera roll." You see Spencer exit the bathroom, peering cautiously at your table to see if he can predict the conversation before returning, "Or you'll find a lot worse than his chest."

aaaaaa chapter 3 of IHM was soooo good!!! Reader and Gojo’s banter is so funny, I just love stories, series and movies where the main characters can’t stand each other and fall in love without even noticing! Their relationship reminds me a lot from the main couple in the movie “Life as we know it”. Omg poor reader when dealing with Choso, the other cop PLUS her neighbors! And the way everyone is so nosy and suspicious, I feel like more awkward situations about their sudden marriage are about to come. These cringe encounters are everything 😂😂😂 The little detail where reader reminds Gojo to strengthen his collar before he leaves was the sweetest, cutest thing! I absolutely love how reader meets part of the family all at once, it was so adorable. And Mama Gojo is amazing, I already love that woman! Does she believe in energy, crystals and all these things? The way she literally hugged reader and declared she would bring luck to their family was soooo sweet!!! This fic is definitely the found family trope!!! And little Juno calling us auntie? My heart just melted right then and there! i relate to reader in the sense that she feels overwhelmed and terrified at the thought of having another family now that she’s married to Gojo. I am close only to my mom, dad and brother, and completely ceased contact with my family from my father’s side of the family. What I mean is, family is difficult, so I’m excited to see how reader will navigate this new chapter of her life, since when you marry someone, it’s like you marry their whole family by association. I hope the rude comments and asks you’ve received straight up demanding smut in all your fics don’t discourage you from continuing writing and posting your lovely stories!!! Unfortunately this always happens, people only care about what they want to see and completely disregard the author’s feeling and efforts. Thank youuu so so so much for writing real stories, with a real build up which only makes the romance between the main characters more genuine and worth in the end! I am absolutely awed by all your writings. I genuinely hope the rudeness you’ve been receiving from the fandom won’t keep you from doing what you love. thank you for your insights on family, that is so true. when you marry someone, you marry their whole family too. and that can be hard to navigate, especially when you’re so used to being around just one person (in reader’s case, her mother) and then suddenly having to acclimate to new people. i’m so glad you can see yourself in her (i’m the same way, only keep in touch w my immediate family and hardly w my aunts/uncles/cousins on both sides for a lotta family drama reasons haha) and i’ve always felt frightened to expand my relations w ppl for that reason, but i think i find that it can be healing too.

I really love how you do the characterization throughout HMTB regarding each of the characters. Scar and Grian both clearly still have trauma from their time in 3rd Life, and it shows really really well! The triggers for Scar are really cleverly done as well, and I love how you portray Grian's efforts to pull him through his trauma.

Also, poor Grian, trying to balance his own pain and trauma while helping Scar bear his. He may be recovering fast, but refusing to talk about it is only going to get him so far.

One other big thing that I adored: Mumbo's insecurities. It's easy enough to wave off Mumbo's concern as irrelevant or unnecessary if you've never been in that position before, but I felt so bad for the poor guy! Every display of affection he tried to offer was one he interpreted as shot down. He doesn't know what to do with Grian, but he also doesn't want to lose him. I feel for those three, I really do.

I just discovered Help Me to Breathe recently, and I am absolutely adoring how you wrote this so far! The characters feel really real, and I'm so glad I found this fic.

(Also, your little interjections of art make those tender moments even better. Story and visual? Amazing combination!)

they are definitely struggling; both grian and scar have their own trauma, but you're right that grian has, on top of that, the role of grounding scar and reeling him in and making sure he doesn't do anything too bad. and the lingering sickness. mmh.

but for scar, losing that grip on reality is terrifying and confusing. he feels destabilised and lost, and he clings to the only bit of security he had when he used to be smilarly scared: the desert castle. their little safe haven, their home, the place where laughter bloomed through graves and blood and explosions.

they both have the short end of the stick, and are just trying to somehow remain above water.

mumbo!!! i am so happy you mention mumbo and his struggles. he certainly has it rough in his own very unique way. and i think his pain deserves recognition, because he doesn't have it easy, either!

it's interesting and fun to explore each of their struggles, so very different and yet so tightly intertwined, as they trip each other up and dig holes underneath their own feet and desperately grab at anything or anyone in reach, dragging them down with nothing else but fear and good intentions.

i really appreciate hearing that you love the characterisation and the parts of the story i wrote so far! it means a lot to know that the characters feel real; it genuinely helps to hear! thank youuu!

Thank you for the concern, darling. <333 I'm still waiting on a call from the doctor I was referred to, but I've had one or two better* night's of sleep this week and cutting back on my schedule has helped a lot.

I'm gonna stay at minimal productivity until I start treatment (whenever that is, next few weeks to a couple months) which is a big blow to my plans for this year. But on the other hand when I can fully come back I'll be firing on all cylinders for the first time in my entire life and that seriously excites me. I'm gonna make so much stuff for y'all. Just all the things. But I gotta be able to sleep first, lol.

*Better sleep, for me, is still awful by normal standards. It means waking up every hour and a half to three hours instead of every forty-five minutes.

fairy!! can I just say the conclusion for two of cups was absolutely perfect <3 rin’s satisfaction at the end was portrayed so well, and such a polar opposite to how sae felt after he slept w reader. as for the very last part…the reminder of sae made me want to sob omg. he so clearly couldn’t handle his emotions and hurt himself & reader in the process, yet at the same time it feels like he really did do rin a favor - maybe even out of love for his brother? idk the conversation with his mom made me think sae did all this (aside from selfishly taking reader’s virginity) because he knows deep down rin’s love is better for reader, so he could step away and let him take care of her. i like how you made the ending sort of open to interpretation - obv there’s a lot of issues that need to he addressed btwn rin and reader but i think it’s safe to assume he’ll never leave her, which is both sweet & somewhat troubling? lol sorry this was so long, I just really loved reading the series and tysm for writing it!! u are amazing ❣️

and rin definitely has some of the yandere in him. i think his love for reader has been mostly selfless up to this point, but now that he's gotten a taste of what it can be like, i dont think he'll ever be able to let go of that again. sooo ૮ ˶ᵔ ᵕ ᵔ˶ ა/✩°｡ hehehftus but yk the future of them is very much up for your interpretation <333

✦ what was your easiest fic to write & your hardest? - 'Progress' might've been the easiest; it was only about 3k words long (and, unlike almost every other attempt at a oneshot I've made, didn't accidentally turn into a multichapter!) I also just think my desire for Kira Nerys to be happy is a very powerful force. Like I wrote it over one evening😂 Hardest would probably be a tie between 'Butter Through An Hourglass' (Sisko falls through time fic), 'When The Fighting Stops' (the life of Kira Nerys as told through Bajoran prophecy), and 'Live With It' (Sisko & Garak post-canon Cardassia dialogue-only). But since I have posted none of those, I'll admit the last two chapters of 'Who We Are' have been giving me trouble

✄ what’s your editing process? - step one: keep editing things even as you write the chapter so you end up making very little progress. step two: go back and edit some of the previous chapters actually! why not! step three: agonise over tiny little phrases forever, make 204 changes, and then close the doc for two months. step four: revisit it and find like 15 new ideas to incorporate now. step five: only open it again a whole month later and go "hmm this chapter is about 3000 words too long actually! gotta cut it down! time to be merciless!!" and step six: somehow end up making it 4759 words longer instead

(lol okay editing is not my strong suit, but I do have ONE good tip, which is change the font or switch to reading on your phone between edits. Just seeing those same lines but visually different always makes me notice things I stop noticing in the same format!)

▵ pick a fic and I’ll tell you my favorite line - ooooh this is hard, because I know it's from the Trippy Ezri Joining Section but it's all so intertwined I really don't know how to pick it apart! My favourite bit is probably when she sees Benjamin in that cosmic kitchen and talks to him outside of linear time lol, but it's more that whole concept than any one line in particular. Though I do like this moment a lot:

Benjamin is watching her with some undefinable look in his eye. “Memory is a complicated, confusing, and… phenomenal thing,” he murmurs, his voice low and clear as the space between stars. “And yes, it can be poisonous at times. Believe me, I know. It can kill. It can drown. But- Ezri, if you want to survive when the tide comes in-” He reaches out, gently cups the sides of her face, and suddenly, everything feels so simple… “You let it take you.” She lets out a shuddering breath, wishing she could look in his eyes forever. “I’ll die.” “No.” Benjamin smiles. “You’ll soar.”

This friendship means so, so much to me, and I really wanted to capture the way these two characters seem to be like, cosmically bound to each other? Platonic soulmates who will find each other in every lifetime, etc. Ezri is struggling with this massively traumatic non-linear experience, losing herself as 300 years of memories are suddenly being dumped into her brain- and here in the middle of it is the one person who can make it make sense, finding her in the dark. Giving her a safe place to catch her breath, but also the pep talk she needs to stop rejecting the symbiont and get through the joining! And basically, his advice is let go. Don't try sorting things out, don't make sense of things, don't psychoanalyse yourself- and definitely don't try to make Dax's emotions/memories linear. Now, is this a hallucination? Is this the worm telling her to find Benjamin through a half-conscious dream? Is this Benjamin himself, helping her out non-linearly from the Celestial Temple post-canon? Who knows! The important thing is, Ben knows a thing or two about living multiple lives, and how emotions can displace a person from time- and yes, he is going to explain it to her through food metaphors :)

amber appreciation day!! mainly because of boredom but also i’ve just been feeling this urge to make these lol.

we haven’t been friends for very long but i’ve thoroughly enjoyed all of our conversations. i feel like you are the first person i’ve met whose had a similar music taste to me lol. normally i don’t go around telling people the artists or songs i listen to on a day to day basis but every time i’ve seen your discord spotify status, i would always look at it and be like “wait- i know this artist/song!! i love this artist/song”.

like i’m fairly certain the first proper convo i had with you was about songs like sana ako na lang and other variations of niji, holo or indie vtubers, which i never really talk about with people who aren’t my irl friends lol. before that i think i only really heard about you from conversations with cyrus and rin so ig i had no real expectations besides ‘tlos fan and really nice person’.

which i mean, both of those statements are very true but also i’m just very glad to have gotten to talk with you more often and learnt more about you. not to mention the fact that we’re literally in the same timezone (again…weirdly very rare for me lol-) and our love for skylene <333 and oh my gosh your art style is to die for. literally it’s so prettyyyy. i can’t wait for the opportunity for us to all roleplay and possible even vc together if i get the chance in the future and hopefully we can be closer in the future. here’s to making more memories <33

OMG HIIII hmm well honestly i wrote it Simply because i wanted to Read a fic like the one i'm writing... and i have a Staunch Dislike for fanon And So instead of mourning the fact that nothing out there was Catered Directly To Me i decided to... cater directly to myself! SKDFKSDF! which i encourage everyone to do.. that post that's like "no content for my ship i might as well die" nooo dont die! just make stuff yourself! it's so fun and rewarding!!

my inspiration also comes from a lot of Personal Feelings i have.. it's about finding love, the fear of being known and accepting that you're worthy of love (and actually Accepting and Taking the love) even though you know it might be easier to just... Die Alone.... lol. but Easier isn't always Better! also being someone.. Like Me... and falling in love and the perspective of dealing with Delayed Feelings and trying to process things you've cheekily thought you were Immune To your whole life.. it's a lot! heh. late bloomers rise...! but it's a story i want to tell because it's important to me. whether others enjoy it or not, that's fine either way!

being completely honest with you i didn't think that anyone would even want to read a tf2 fic (of all things lol) that dealt with yearning, Carnal Feelings of Hunger (sexual metaphor), mental illness, parental trauma, etc...! my fic will always be a love letter to myself and my girlfriend above all else; i'm writing it for the two of us, after all! but i'm so so so happy other people are enjoying it as well, and have even told me they relate to it!! ;; wow!! it means literally so much to me ;_;!

i just had an interesting (To Me Personally) idea of what medic and sniper's relationship could be like after the comics, and i hadn't seen anyone do it in the way that i personally wanted to, soooo! i began writing! i think i spent a few weeks just coming up with like. what a good Big Conflict for them would be (which is Almost Upon us in my series.. >:) heh!) and then have been reverse engineering the whole thing from there LOL! getting started is definitely the hardest part for me so i think i had the most trouble with wasserballon because i'm eager to just .dive into the stuff im FINALLY getting ready to post in my next fic! aah!! HEHHE..
