12. Name an OC that isn’t yours but who you like a lot

Rose. I don't know, smth about the design scratches my brain just right and I love his color scheme a lot.

Also is mgrec Sunny something I can answer. She is kind of like Ashen's oc to me tbh.

14. Introduce an OC with a tragic backstory.

Hmm since it says introduce let's do someone I haven't talked about at all before. I've never properly drawn her, her name is Illana and she is the love interest of a short (?) story of mine, Lost and Found (that I am aslo yet to properly write, but it has an outline and some notes).

She is a forest goddess and used to have a temple that people came to with offerings to ask her for blessings of the harvest and mostly similar mundane stuff. X years before the main events, there was a famine around the country and it hit her region stronger than other. People came to her a lot, and she helped them as much as she could. But the longer it went on, the harder it became to look after everything, even with her knowledge and magic. People thought she didn't want to help them, which led to a local civil war, where some tried to attack her temple and some tried to defend it. In the end, she cast a spell on the forest and cut herself from the town and any other civilization, and didn't want anything to do with people again for several decades (until a pretty girl comes along and shows her the power of love and friendship again).

20. Do any of your OCs sing? If they sing, care to share more details (headcanon voice, what kind of songs they like etc)?

OH OH I don't know about specifically singing per se, but in my head Nevada sounds close to Marina (and the diamonds), specifically in Guilty and The Outsider. Maybe it's because both have heavily inspired me to write Nevada's backstory, so I automatically assigned them her voice. Alternative is Devil's Lighthouse by The Correspondents, for the same reason.

Since I was talking about Illana, her voice is kind of otherworldly and reminds regular people of songbirds, I think her singing would sound really nice. Maybe she sings to herself sometimes in the years she is all alone, something from the time when children ran and played around her temple. But I imagine she would try her best to stop herself when she notices she's doing it.

💗 Aina is streetsmart and has good common sense and general like. deducing skills but she actively chooses to make some bad choices.

🦋 Bev is a little bit sillay. A little bit dumb. No common sense. different spectrum of thoughts entirely

🐺 Benji is practical smart, not so much book smart , but he has enough general knowledge from his life and ppl around him that he will make informed decisions (wee bit of a nerd for games though)

🐍 Hez is smart . 100% choose not to be most days cos of spite alone. Fake dummy. Gets annoyed when someone can't understand something he can.

Hez and Aina get along well in that regard :) Benji is always being considerate of others meanwhile Hez is actively tearing his hair out trying to communicate with Bev

What’s the first whump trope you remember enjoying?

That would probably be the "tied to a chair" trope. The earliest example I can think of is Jon (from The Magnus Archives) being kidnapped by Nikola. Now that I think about it, TMA had a lot of whump even for a horror podcast

Headcanons are fun!! I had to sit down for a few minutes to think about this one.

Obviously we're going to go with Tarlos here, and a headcanon that I'm very fond of is that Carlos likes to read to TK whenever either of them are having trouble sleeping. They have a lot of different ways to deal with this, but this is a favorite for them, because it gets them both out of their heads.

I'd imagine there's nights after a long shift or a bad call where TK is feeling a little restless, and he doesn't even need to ask for it because Carlos is already offering. It isn't long before TK is laying back against Carlos' chest, listening to his voice and attempting to focus on the story, but ultimately failing, and Carlos can barely make it through a single chapter before TK is out like a light.

I also think that TK likes to sing to Carlos whenver he's upset or has had a bad day. TK picked up a lot of habits from Gwyn, especially when it comes to comfort, and in 3x08 he said that she used to sing to him. He loves to be able to do the same for Carlos, and of course Carlos adores TK's voice.

I love little domestic headcanons like this. It's fun to try and work them into fics!

I don't like the headcanon(?) that a lot of people have around barok that he's like. a dominant bad boy grrrr or whatever. that's just not how he is to me. he honestly comes across as awkward and shy to me, hidden behind a mask of drama and darkness

Thoughts on like. Ryusai but it’s diverge or something and ryuki is haunted by knowledge he was never supposed to know. His world is so small now.

my thoughts are that diverge is for chumps (peter griffin voice) i do not care for metafiction in games. it insists upon itself.

... and i am more than willing to be a chump for ryuki torture, however i need more lead-in here. i have two toy boxes to stop myself from killing anyone about Bad Sequel and they're the post-anni box and the "what if aini was a simulation inside of the original real world aitsf universe and everything was okay" box. former of which ryuki is just regular mentally ill latter of which saito is Super Dead. you understand.

this is for cass/kon. i think it was done well in canon tbh with them trying to date and realizing they liked being friends. i didn't mark it but i actually think them as a romantic pairing is a little too prominent in fandom. even though it's not that popular overall, i see more stuff with them as a couple than them as friends which is unfortunate :(

ok. hear me out. this is for stephcass. i don't mean any of these like fully but yeah. like some people totally make good stuff for them but it's so popular that there's also a lot of stuff that just misses the point. so like i get them and some other people get them but a lot of people don't unfortunately. as for better as friends, their friendship is just more important to me personally and that's probably because i value the power of friendship a lot.

this is an interesting one I haven’t seen anything of but I’ll brainstorm this….it’s not really I ship I see myself falling in love with but it could be fun

I think they’d have a very powerful bond built off respect and protection. While they aren’t visibly a couple, not many would guess, they show their love through the effort they put into protecting each other and working together to keep their realms at peace with each other. They work very well together being able to basically read each others thoughts and know what the other is thinking just by sharing a glance across the room.

This is actually a prompt I pulled out of a prompt list with a random number generator. Also it's the only WIP file that has nothing written in the actual document (only in the notes section......I use Scrivener). I was on the brainstorming stage with this one before I decided to take a break from writing

My ideas for it include a bunch of fun stuff but in the end the premise I landed on was basically the post Gronder rain scene with Cyrus instead of Byleth. Like Dimitri goes to follow Edelgard to die alone but is stopped by Cyrus. What happens next? If I knew this would be posted already

Victor, honestly.

The guilt from the crimes he committed in life haunt him even in death, and he feels that because he is damned to hell, he doesn’t deserve happiness. He often shrinks from the help of others and sabotages his chances with work. At the heart of it though, he is simply afraid that if he has a normal afterlife, it could be taken from him at any moment. He finds comfort in knowing his afterlife couldn’t get any worse.

I think a dream scenario would be really fun! I know I've internalized some criticism from somewhere long ago about "dreams are borinnnnng" but I think they're responding to a tendency for stories to use dreams as shortcuts for foreshadowing or character development.

A dream scenario I'd love to do would be a kind of Inception-esque "dreams within dreams within dreams" situation, where the dreamer jumps from scenario to scenario as they try to figure out what's going on and wake up. Probably thinking of this as a "personal relationship drama" thing too, like one party in the dream is an active dreamer and the other is trapped within the dream...?

Yeah, this scenario is nowhere near half-baked, but it's got a clear Mood to me. Maybe someday it will exist. ^_^
