Cinta nodded. “I asked Gorn about it while we were over there. He said it’s a charm,” Cinta informed her. “You wear it or take it with you and it should bring good fortune, keep you safe.” The side of Vel’s mouth curled up in a grin as her gaze met Cinta’s eyes. “I already have a good luck charm.”

I had the opportunity to commission a piece of art from the wonderful @onceuponavoid and I could not be happier! I've adored every Velcinta work put out already and this one is no exception.

Wield Me is a brilliant 10k (!!) get together fic with badass blacksmith Draco (!!!!), dilf Unspeakable Harry (🤤) and mysterious edgy Teddy wielding a sword (!!!!!!!) as a lil treat to indulge my rare pair tastes. But never fear Drarry fans, I promise this is peak Drarry romance with a lovely charming Harry who’s totally smitten with Draco and also fiercely protective of Teddy. Be still my heart, this was a personal attack to my feels!!!!

To see my 3 favorite characters so beautifully portrayed (as per) by my favourite author feels like a huge privilege, one I’m not worthy of. I wanna live inside this verse and feast on their dynamics, so tentative but full of longing and devotion. I wanna know everything about these characters and their life before, during and after the fic events take place. That’s how obsessed I am with the universe Tacky has so brilliantly put together within just 10k. Once again they tug at my heartstrings just right and leave me dizzy with their talent and prose, exploring so many different and nuanced emotions in a short fic. She can’t look away from Envy who stands out from the endless darkness enveloping them.  Blood drains from her face as she shudders against the wall. The young officer is afraid of the Little Killer who is standing before her.

 She’s afraid, and it’s apparent.

Long lashes blink away the tears of mounting fear of her life possibly slipping from her fingers. Just like the opportunity of capturing Mississippi’s most wanted killer. So close to ending his reign of terror.

She can’t let her fear miss that chance. There’s no sense in letting her fear dictate her actions.

Dark brows arch and those silver hues darken to a stormy gray. She pushes against the powerful figure pinning her to the wall. Pulling, shoving, and kicking within any inch of freedom she has. She feels the world closing in on her. Isolated and alone with the most dangerous man before her.

‘No! Don’t be scared! Don’t be scared! You got this! Don't let everyone down!’

With all her strength, Harmony shoves Envy. He’s incredibly strong but there is no way she will freeze in place. She must fight not only for herself but for all innocent souls that could be his prey.

“I appreciate the compliment-“ She fights against his strength. Red lips curl back, revealing white teeth tightly clenched in a vicious snarl.

what does he do for a living/what is his daily life like

OKAY! Morice is a marine biologist! He always follows this same routine, keeps him from being stressed. The guy likes knowing what to do. He’s never really seen during the day very often! There has been at least one sighting of him in the night. Coming into Stormalong to collect barrels filled with fish and then leaving.

Morice is a pretty tough big guy! Though, he keeps to himself. Super quiet, minds his own business, you’d have to approach him first if you want him to say something. But! Even if you did, he still wouldn’t really say much anyway. Intelligent, but stubborn.

The guy really likes fish. To eat in this case. He’ll drink the occasional Maple Syrup, only a little though! Just as some kind of treat. [more of a guy that drinks water mostly.]

So, remember how I said there was one sighting of him at night in Stormalong?

K’nuckles saw him come in and leave once.

Crawling onto the dock, picking himself up, grabbing the barrels that were left for him there, leaving something, and then heading off.

Morice comes in every few nights to do the same thing, you could probably catch his schedule if you pay attention to when he visits.

K’nuckles ends up catching him during the day at one point, actually!

The only times Morice comes up in the day is for errands, needs to get stuff he needs. He’s a lot grumpier in the day, also pretty nervous. This leads to him having his guard up constantly when in Stormalong.

K’nuckles and Morice actually start out as enemies for a while.

I don’t know what exactly leads them to being enemies, so any ideas would be very nice, I love discussing these kinds of things. Especially just developing dynamics overall!!!!
