Thanks for the ask! Sorry I took awhile, I've been a bit under the weather :P

Sans is pretty apprehensive of Dust at first, (considering he knocked him tf out and locked him up in the basement with no way to teleport his way out💀) but when he checks Dust and sees just how much LV he has he becomes wary of his intentions, and even more concerned when he realizes that he plans to essentially steal his life.

He doesn't know what Dust did, but can infer by Dust’s general behavior that on some level it must have been out of desperation. But hes also a bit biased because he really wants to believe that... (He doesn’t want to accept the fact that he ended up like Dust in another life)

He initially gives Dust the benefit of the doubt, He willingly talks to him about his life on the surface at first, about his partner, about his friends and family, while still trying to persuade him that they can figure this out together.

But Dust is adamant that stealing his life is the only way. That he wouldn’t be accepted by other monsters if they knew what he had… gone through.

(Sans trusting Dust enough to tell him about his life on the surface unfortunately only cements Dust’s plan, Sans’ efforts to convince Dust he could have a happy life now only made Dust envious of the life he could have had. The life he distantly thinks he deserves atleast a little taste of, despite all the sins he’s committed.)

So despite sans’ efforts, he’s left to rot in the basement.

Obviously, being left to rot and having your life stolen would put a sour taste in anyone’s mouth, so sans eventually starts to hate Dust.

I ended up making a comic laying out their strained relationship since you made me think about the complexity of their dynamic a bit more.

The girls are fighting… 🫢

Dust relies on Sans and he hates it. He could kill him sure, but then what? That question of "what if" lingers in the back of his mind. What if you find him out? What if he slips up somewhere and can't cover up his mistake in time? He wasn't looking for permanence with you initially... was just jealous, wanted a taste of the life he could have had… but now he's gotten attached to you. He's afraid of losing this. Losing you. And they both know that fear will be his downfall.

Sans' side of this is a bit complicated however. He doesn't want to admit it to himself but he's upset you haven't noticed him missing. Dust tends to taunt him about that, as it's really the only leverage he has... but it slowly begins to eat at him over time. He doesn't blame you really, since Dust has proved to be a pretty good impersonator. But either way, the fact that you aren't noticing any difference between him and Dust will put a strain on him. And depending on what ending, a strain on your relationship entirely.

Sans also becomes increasingly desperate, having his own distant thoughts of overpowering or even killing Dust and escaping. But refrains from doing so, afraid of ending up just like Dust in the end.

Hello! This is for the ask game.

Duncan? Mayhaps? He's my favorite of the narrow gauge.

Tbh the first time I’ve read about him, I didn’t like him but now whenever I see Duncan I want to slap him, but at the same time, give him tea and a hug. Now I know where his “plain-so speaking attitude” I mean it’s very blatanty implied in his introduction that he swears and like from like I’ve seen a few headcanons going around the Duncan like adopts this attitude from his workplace and wasn’t exactly the healthiest place so adds to folder 📁 📂.

Like yeah he’s got flaws *looks at Rusty’s episode* but knows when he’s wrong as he apologizes to Rusty which is actually the few times as much as I’ve seen a steam engine apologize to a diesel engine, and afterwards they became friends, like he acknowledges his mistake and tries to fix it.

He can be seen as a jerk (but then again so can others), but the hidden heart of Gold, like when he helped Luke which displays a soft side (Duncan gets Spooked where in the US Dub, he mentions that the bridge be “as tame as a pet rabbit 🐇” like how would he know how skittish and builds up trust of bunnies Hm 👀👀 I’ve seen this hc floating around that’s he’s got a pet rabbit 🐇 and I love that)

Also the entire Cool Truckings episode with Duncan and Madge, he encourages in his own way and I love how fluid their chemistry was. I will admit I’m currently obessing with the other yellow narrow guage engines and an idea on how they’re interact (short answers: Kyle “Proteus”, but poor Duncan hates ghosts now so.. and Andreas where he gots a huge rivalry going on between them with clashing personalities,povs and workplaces) so Duncan’s still in the middle despite me putting him in a wringer in my au but I can see why so many people like him!!

Also he’s a George Carlin fan and be stimming (Duncan drops a clanged where he loves that one bumpy track and ends up being late he’s like me fr there) I still need to re-examine him cause it’s been awhile but he still gets the work and job done so yay 😁

Ahhh there is so much they can do immediately after v. Have a messy public breakup on top of the canon breakup. Get together because Ocelot has scrambled his brain too much and is miserable and Kaz just wants to watch the world burn (results in the same messy breakup too. probably). What does them "coexisting" post everything in v even entail. Most of what I wrote down (and haven't finished don't come at me) about them at that time is pretty depressing for them both. I had an idea of them having to deal with a revived Volgin again, that I talked a bit about in the last paragraph here, which was supposed to have a kind of reconciliation between them at the end.

I don't really have many thoughts on them during the Foxhound days specifically, I don't think. One that I had was them secretly teaming up to kill bibo, but that's really far from the canon territory, I was just thinking that it could've been fun to watch them work together at a later age. The other was about transfem Kaz and Ocelot meeting after some years of not seeing each other and mostly just reminiscing on their shared past. I thought about Ocelot coming to kill Kaz and then staying with him a few days because Catherine is there for the holidays and Kaz asks to let him get things in order before he dies. I'm leaning towards them running away together in the end because canon has enough people being miserable, but I am aware that's not up everyone's alley. Oh well.

It's a beautiful fic of my rarepair (Alistair x F!Trevelyan). Basically, Alistair and Trevelyan are soulmates, and are able to communicate with each other by writing on their arms. It starts before the events of DAO, carries on through DA2 and into DA:I. It hasn't updated since summer but it's a fic I think EVERYONE should read because the concept is just so delicious and UGH.

This fic changed my life. rewired my brain chemistry. I will NEVER be over it. I will spend the rest of my life obsessively reading it again and again and waiting for the next update if it ever comes. I will never shut up about this particular fic. It holds such a special place in my heart lol.

“Where’s y/n?” Lando read out from the chat with a smile “she’s currently sat over there-“ lando said as he looked over to you with a smile, “she’s sat in the corner of the room on her phone- baby C’mere” lando said as he held his hand out gesturing for you to come sit on his lap.

You smiled as you walked over to them both “hi everyone…” you smiled as you sat on landos lap, you felt a wave of dizziness hit you but you shook it off.

You stayed there for awhile until lando got thirsty “hang on max, I’m gonna go grab my water bottle” lando said as you got up from his lap so he could go grab it.

You felt the same dizziness when you got up too fast, “y/n? You okay?” Max asked when he saw you looked pale and you nodded “I’m fine..I’m just gonna grab my phone” you said and max nodded as he read the chat.

As you took another two steps you felt the dizziness but ten times worse, your vision went black and you felt yourself collapse to the ground, hitting your head as you did.

“Is max okay? Is he trying to shut his door or something?” You asked confused when you heard a door shutting and closing making lando smirk.

“He’s fine…let’s just sleep” lando smiled as he rested his face into your neck.

“LANDO! You broke my door! The handle doesn’t work!” Max yelled and you looked down to lando who was biting back his laugh.

“I was only unconscious for a couple minutes!” You shook your head and he couldn’t hold back his laugh.

“ARE YOU LAUGHING AT ME?!” Max yelled and you both covered your mouths as you nearly cried from laughter.

“i’m going to use the bathroom real quick.” you tell jungkook as you lift yourself off the couch. he’s quick to stand up with you but you lightly push him down, your index finger grazed against his skin from the buttons on his shirt being unbuttoned and exposing a bit of his chest.

you shake your head. “stay, i’ll be back.” you say while pulling one side of his shirt closed to hide the bareness. girls have been staring at him and trying to come up to him and it’s getting annoying.

his bottom lip is pushed out slightly, pouting before he lets you go alone.

jungkook watches you make it to the stairs until you disappear from his sight.

you’re thankful the bathroom wasn’t occupied and you could easily walk in, locking the door behind you.

anxious thoughts invade your mind. the five drinks you’ve had can’t even cloud your thoughts nor make you tipsy enough—curse your body for not being a lightweight.

jungkook’s friends had invited you two to a party and originally he didn’t want to go because you were with him and he wanted to be with you. but he barely gets to see his friends and it’s been awhile since he’s been out with them. it took a bit to persuade him but he gave in on the exception that you came. and you didn’t mind. you thought it would be fun. it was fun.

but his friends aren’t your friends and your social battery around strangers tends to drain fast. they’re nice people and all, but now you just want to go home.

this was your idea you know… yeah well, you’re gonna tough it out for him because he’s having a good time and you’re gonna do anything for him. good pep talk!

“__?” three soft knocks and his sudden voice makes you jump, realizing you’ve been standing in front of the sink, stuck in your head.

“hang on!” you shout out, quickly using the restroom and washing your hands before you step out to meet the boy on your mind.

his eyes find yours quickly, trying to decipher any changes in your body language or to read anything going on behind your orbs.

“you okay? you’ve been in there for awhile so i came up to check on you.” he asks with concern in his voice.

you try to smile but it comes out small. “yeah, sorry,” you opened your mouth to continue but nothing comes out.

a couple drunkenly tumbles up the stairs, heading towards you both but he’s quick to grasp onto your waist and move you both against the wall. the couple passes you and disappears into a room, slamming the door behind them.

both of you slowly turn your heads to look at each other with raised eyebrows and you burst into fits of laughter. him still holding onto you, as you two start to quiet down. the scent of his cologne and cigarettes permeated your nostrils, remembering him and his friends were outside smoking earlier. in the early stages of you two dating, the smell used to bother you, so jungkook had the notion to smoke outside shirtless so the smell doesn’t catch onto his clothes and to brush his teeth so he can kiss you easily. now you’re used to it.

suddenly, he’s gazing down upon you. “you tired?”

immediately shakes your head, “no.”

he lets out a deep breath and hums, sliding a hand into the front pocket of his jeans before throwing the other over your shoulders, pulling you closer to his side as he guides you downstairs.

“well i am. let’s go home.” he declares, his head turning left and right to find where his friends went while you just gawk at him.

but you don’t say nothing.

once you both reach his group of friends, they’re heads turn towards you both. “guys i’m feeling tired so we’re gonna head home.”

“what, already?”

“that’s cool, thanks for coming man.”

you released yourself from jungkook so they could bid their manly goodbyes, them also thanking you for coming and saying it was good to see you.

jungkook links his hand with yours as you both make your way out the building onto the streets. with your hand in his, he brings it up to his face and softly kisses the back of it three times.

you fondly stare at him before hanging your head as you watch both your pairs of feet walk in sync.

“sorry i made you leave early, i know you said you were tired because of me. i didn’t mean to force you to leave ‘cus i know you were having fun–“

he stops in his tracks and squeezes your hand. “baby, ever since i met you, the thought of being without you made me crazy. so what makes you think i’d want to be out without you?” he expresses, taking your face in the palm of his hands and pressing his lips against yours in a short kiss. “plus, being at home in bed with you honestly sounds really fucking good right now.”

a timid smile stretched onto your lips before you reached on your tippy toes to kiss him again. “i love you.”

“i love you, silly. now let’s go home. are you hungry, ‘cus im craving ramen and i might make some when we get home.”

“ramen actually sounds really good right now.”

it’s 3am as i finish this so enjoy another self indulgent jungkook brain rot :D the way ill be at an outing w family or friends having fun but then two hours pass and with the snap of fingers i go quiet and have a rbf and i’m ready to go home and be in bed💀 anyway likes & reblogs are v much appreciated !! stay safe and healthy <33
