hiii im a HUGE fan of your game and im loving how it’s going!! im not sure if you can answer this since you might wanna keep some lore hidden but, i haven’t been able to stop thinking about when Mychael said he had something in common with ONE jellyfish, it was tricky trying to find a specific trait that applies to ONE jellyfish but i found these two possibilities (sorry about the long read)

Immortal jellyfish (it’s immortality) - may explain his tail being able to grow back and his “untraditional” way of being immortal,

(SPOILER) he has died in one of the endings but maybe he didn’t have enough time to do the process?

Box jellyfish (it’s venom) - it can be very deadly and cause nausea, pain, fevers and more but, Mychael has yet to sting us psychically (that we know of..) and he’s only caused us pain with his “mind” powers but just thought the symptoms sounded similar to when he controls our mind!

Hi again, sini! I got some imagines that will wiggle your zhongli brain worms.

Remember this year’s Lantern Rite where Neuvilette made a ladle that resembles his dragon form? I imagined Zhongli’s wife (aka f!reader) went to Fontaine as part of her work. During her off days, there's a sculpting class and reader joins in and creates an intricate sculpture of Zhongli’s majestic dragon form. The sculpture is small enough to put on a table as decor.

Fast forward, reader returns to Liyue and tells Zhongli about her work and experience in Fontaine. She then pulls out the sculpture for Zhongli to admire. Zhongli then brings that sculpture to his workplace and place it on his table so he can gaze at it and motivate himself at work.

I bet customers who came and even Hu Tao would ask about the statue and Zhongli would proudly say it’s his wife’s handmade gift. The sculpture is also a good conversation starter when customers visit the funeral parlor.

Oh my gosh yes! That's so adorable and I totally see it. He'd be so touched that his wife would make such a thing for him and so beautifully too!

I also think maybe if people talking to Zhongli don't bring up the statue in their conversation, Zhongli would find a way to wiggle it in somehow. Maybe he'd run a finger along its length ostentatiously, or if the topic is somewhat related to dragons or sculpting or cool items he'd say something along the lines of "Ah yes, if I could call your attention to this trinket here..."

I just think he'd waste no opportunity to tell people his lovely wife thoughtfully handmade it for him :] at some point it's probable that the whole harbor knows about the dragon statue hehe.

Girl, I saw a post of yours about Max and Daniel's relationship some time ago (yesterday?? I have no idea but) I went into a monologue in my mind and I need to get this out.

I started following F1 in 2016 (because of Max) so I saw the dynamic of these two over all these years, I always loved every PR video they made for the team because genuinely these two always had great chemistry together, Max was the withdrawn boy formed by his father's upbringing and Daniel as always a pure charisma, those who looked from the outside might think that this combination wouldn't work, but they were completely wrong. Daniel wasn't intimidated by Max, he saw that shy and aggressive teenager entering the world of Formula 1 and decided that ok, he would be his protector from now on.

Their relationship as teammates on the track was chaotic. Max would occasionally get into trouble because of his impulsiveness. This makes me realize today that Daniel had all the patience in the world with that petulant teenage Max. Nowadays, he says that he likes to think that he had a good influence on Max back then, and believe me, he did. Max wouldn't be the same today without Daniel. He wouldn't have the same lightness and sagacity. He wouldn't know what it's like to reach out to an opponent and admit that sometimes things are the way they are.

I always liked the duo that the two formed on the grid, but it was after Daniel left Red Bull that I started to admire their relationship even more. It was the first true confirmation that yes, they genuinely liked each other, they were friends. 2019 was the first year in which neither of them had any more obligations to be friendly and cordial with each other to keep up appearances, and even so, they never stopped interacting. Daniel always interrupted Max's interviews to make a joke or two and Max joined in so easily. The ease with which these two enter their own bubble is admirable. No other driver duo has ever had that.

The question is, what do the two have, this dynamic, relationship, neither of them has it with anyone else on that grid, Daniel is friends with many drivers, Lando, George, Alex, Charles, but no relationship comes close to what he has with Max, Daniel's last week in that paddock revealed a lot to us, more than we would ever know if he hadn't found himself in that situation, Max genuinely cares about Daniel, in his own way, and that seems to please the other side a lot seeing as how Daniel respects him after all these years, we don't even know half of what their relationship is like but every time we find out something we feel how sincere it is.

Hi Elliott, hope you're well! I'm on a little vacation this weekend and the place I'm staying at is just a 2 minute walk from the nearest beach! I was up before dawn this morning and figured I might as well go watch the sun rise.

I also did a spot of beachcombing while I was there! I don't think I've ever seen that many intact shells. I even got to see some live clams on the shore! (and a handful of crab claws, ouch.)

the 'does not talk much' was throwing me for a bit of a loop, but i think it's fair to say that we really only experience dan when he's comfortable and willing, therefore open to being more talkative.

And that doesn’t even begin to explain the chaos that was Demi-gods, because like Cross has a sibling who was born before the events of X-tale and has an overwrite soul so they got listed as one and I gave them wings, both Reaper, Life, and my two other gods have Demi-gods under them (who were in theory born human or monster) and do that, it’s very long and complicated and it’s entirely because of the dragon au and I’m very offended /j

But :x AU where the Watchers steal Grian's voice (dunno why, haven't gotten that far), no talking no laughter no sound at all, and Grian acts like it's fine. It is! They have communicators! He can still talk to the hermits while X and Doc try and figure it out! Honestly he's close enough with some that facial expressions and gestures are enough to have a whole conversation sometimes. And bonus, he doesn't have to hold back his giggles when setting up a prank, Scar literally can't hear him laughing as he's tunneling under the base. .... but being in big groups is hard, he can't quip like he used to, by the time he's got a line halfway typed out the conversation moved on and the joke dies on his keyboard. (No hermit is excluding him on purpose!! Just, that's how talking flows and typing can't always keep up!) Can't hear him laugh but... can't hear him cry either.

OHHH mute grian! it's interesting that it also translates to any other noises. he can't cry! he can't laugh! (gathering this angst lovingly in my arms)

he can sob and nobody will hear it. he can hide and nobody will be any wiser. he— you know, he can't call for help, or call attention to himself, or even greet his friends. he can't call out scar's name, he can't say hi or bye to anyone. he needs eyes on him, or time to type and people's attention on the chat, and he doesn't always get those things.

his steps are still audible, but if he can't say a person's name or a greeting, he keeps accidentally sneaking up on people. he doesn't know how to alert them without it being absolutely ridiculous. they startle. mumbo especially lets out a loose comment directly after a scare, about how grian can't do that.

This is mostly in response to the anon who asked the “I love you” ask but I thought it interesting and not well-known enough to share generally.

The only time “I love you” is explicitly said during the entire Shadowheart romance is in a dialogue option during the conversation the morning-after the Nightfall ritual, which goes like this:

“May Lady Shar’s blessings be upon you. Though I have little doubt she is most pleased, after the offering we made together. I know I certainly was…”

> About that…

“Yes? Do you have notes for me?”

> You ruined me. How can I ever lay with another after you?

“You flatter me. Perhaps I’ll have the chance to reach your heights some time, whenever Lady Shar requires another offering…

> I loved it. I love you.”

“Let’s not get ahead of ourselves. I belong to Lady Shar - don’t waste your time coveting what you can never truly have. Which isn’t to say we needn’t have any use for each other, from time to time…”

This conversation is not currently in the game, though whether it was cut or doesn’t trigger properly, I don’t know. Hopefully patch 7 finally adds it in.

Thank you for the tips about sgraffito! The class ended up being a lot of fun but was only 2 hours long and I wasn't confident about having time to do my original idea, so switched plans to do a little spoon rest guy instead. I only did one coat of underglaze for the pomegranate - do you think that'll be enough for it to be a bright color? It's gonna get glazed and fired in the kiln by the instructor sometime in the next few weeks, so I'm excited to see how it turns out!

it depends on the brand, but most underglaze needs 3 coats. if you do too few coats, it can be streaky, like the blue here:

too many coats and the clear glaze overtop might crawl or bubble.

I’ve always had good luck with red underglaze though, I’ve never had streaks on a red piece (but I still always give them three coats lol)
