Almost an hour later he is pulling in to Bobby and Athena’s. The long driveway twists up to their new home and Tommy thinks back to him and Evan spending many days here helping them rebuild. He stops the truck in the shade of the large oak tree Athena says was part of what drew her to the property; he asked Bobby for Evan’s hand under that tree, and now there’s two baby swings hanging from one of the low branches. 

The pathway to the front door is colorfully littered with drawings— Bobby must have let the twins go wild with the chalk, Tommy thinks, taking note of all the scribbles. Near the steps there are hand prints from the entire family pressed into the concrete. Each one a found member, taken in and loved like their own; each one thankfully belonging to Tommy as well. It’s such a beautiful thing… He stops at the two littlest additions and smiles— soon he hopes there will be at least one more set. (Maybe more if Maddie’s baby fever doesn’t subside… he kind of hopes it doesn’t) 

He knocks on the door and Athena opens it with a smile, reaching up to pull Tommy down into her arms. “You get all your shopping done?” 

“Yeah…” he says softly, thinking back to the candles and the tests— the one they took. 

“Well, that’s good…” She moves aside and he’s hit by the smell of something delicious as soon as he steps in. “Robby’s still down for a nap, but Little Miss—” Athena shakes her head with a laugh. “—that girl has been wide open. She’s helping Bobby make lunch.” 

“She wasn’t too much, was she?” Tommy asks, knowing the answer before Athena even has to give him that Gramma look— the, as far as you’re concerned, she was a complete angel, and he will never know otherwise, look. 

He laughs and follows Athena to the kitchen, catching a glimpse of Bobby and Ro at the island. She is standing on one of the two booster stools Bobby built so they could be his little chef’s in training— (Evan has been hinting at wanting some for their house too, Tommy thinks he might need to make them as a late anniversary gift.)— with her mini apron on, and her curls hidden under a play chef's hat. Bobby dips his spoon in the sauce he’s taken out of the pot to cool and offers her a taste. She hums an adorable little Mmmm, and opens her mouth for more just as Tommy snaps a picture. 

Oh yeah. That one’s going on the fridge. 

The sound of the shutter gets both of their attention, and Ro’s eyes widen excitedly. “Papapapapaaaa! Up!” She looks at Bobby and lifts her arms, and he hoists her out of the stool and sets her down on the floor. Little feet quickly patter around the island towards Tommy, and she nearly collides with his legs; she’s moving so fast. “Papa, papa! Up up up!” 

What’s Tommy going to do… deny her anything? He reaches down and lifts her into his arms. “Hey you,” he says, peppering her cheeks with kisses that make her giggle and squeal. 

She wraps her arms around his head and squeezes. “‘Eyy yooou!” she repeats happily.

hiii, need help with a carrd i bought from you, i bought the everbloom/yae miko themed one and it's so so so gorgeous but i seem to be unable to keep the transparent containers *transparent*, when i try to save, it tells me to put something in the container.... thank yooou and your works are so pretty <3

if it's the images, you should just be able to delete them without altering the look of the theme too much!
