CHICKEN SCRATCH. BARELY LEGIBLE. BAD. i think he also has an awful habit of mixing his languages together because his brain goes So So fast if he cant remember a word or phrase in the language he's writing in he just puts down whatever language he can remember it in without even thinking about it. so its just. gibberish to most people

Uncommon Character Development Questions!

1. What position does your character sleep in? ( i.e; stomach, side, back, etc. ) Describe why they do this — optional.

On Jaden She tends to sleep on her side if she’s alone, though sometimes, albeit rarely, on her back. The only time she’ll sleep on her stomach is when she rolls over during a morning wake-up call to shove her head under the pillow. XD

Honesty, Aoi tends to find comfort in sleeping near someone she’s close to - and in her GX/mainverse, she’s more often than not sleeping with Jaden. At that point it’s less side/back/whatever and more legit laying on him and tabgled up in him, considering they end up cuddling to sleep. It’s comfortable and relaxing, and the only time she ever sleeps well.

2. Does your character have any noteworthy features? Freckles? Dimples? A scar somewhere unusual? etc. 

The majority of the time, no, unless her thing for pigtails counts. XD In her ARC-V verses, however, she has several pale scars littering her body, the most noticeable of which lies diagonally across part of her collarbone. These are a result of training at Academia and being part of the war; while they’ve mostly healed nicely and barely show unless you know to look for scars, they’re the obvious markings of a former soldier and a woman who wants nothing more than to see the war end and protect her loved ones.

Most of these scars are from facing down hunting hounds, though she has several from falling and hurting herself in various other ways during training. the one on her collarbone, specifically, is from a Hunting Hound attack she couldn’t quite dodge in time.

3.Does your character have an accent? What does it sound like? 

Believe it or not, Aoi doesn’t have an accent! The way she speaks (”Th’ day’s t’ long f’ m’“) is a direct result of 100% pure, untainted laziness. She got into the habit of shortening words (The to th’, for to f’, to to t’, go to g’, etc) when she was a younger kid, and it just.. Stuck. She’s aware it’s not a proper way to talk, and she can and will actually sound out entire words if she has to (like if someone just doesn’t understand, she’ll force herself to speak normally),but otherwise she’ll just be absolutely lazy about it.

It’s also a habit she breaks by the time she’s into her mid to late 20′s or by the time she has kids, whichever comes first, though not any sooner.

4. Do they have any verbal tics? Do they have trouble pronouncing certain words or getting their thoughts across clearly? 

She does have trouble with certain words and getting her thoughts across clearly, though it can be heavily argued that’s because she sleeps through classes and has absolutely zero idea how to pronounce things. XD In all honesty, it’s not much she has trouble with, and if she can’t figure it out, she’ll fall back on something she thinks works in its place.

Of hillarious example: Though not actually really rp’d out on dash, after the war, Aoi has a Nordic deck she builds for the sole purpose of learning Synchro Summoning from Yugo. Many of these monsters she can’t pronounce for the life of her, including Tanngrisnir of the Nordic Beasts, to which she’ll stop mid-duel, stare at the card, get frustrated, and eventually just summon it by calling it “angry goat of the nordic beasts”. Normally makes Yuya crack up, but nothing quite tops the fact she rides said angry goat like he does Hip Hippo-

5. What are their chief tension areas?

Legs, back, and shoulders. She does a lot of running around in any verse, and it does wear on her after a while, no matter how active she is. But as a duelist there’s a lot of repetitive movements in the arms that eventually wear down her back and shoulders, and she’s not above hiding out somewhere warm just to ease those aches.
