Meissa added as her dark hazel blue eyes studied the resurrected king. "Did they tell you anything? Or mentioned why they brought you back?" Sirius asked, his gray-blue eyes watching the king carefuly

It was all… too much.  It had all been too much, but it wasn’t getting better.  Ignis, Prompto and Gladio were angry on his behalf more than anything else, and that was… well, that was tense in itself.  He hadn’t had much of a chance to talk to them, either, not in depth.

Scrubbing his face with his hands, he took a deep, ragged breath before looking up at–  Family.  Sidus’ family, but that was also his.  First thing was first; he gave a weak little smile to Aurora, holding out his hand in case she wanted to… well, be a little more involved, or at least be closer.  Not that she should have been part of the actual conversation, he supposed, but she deserved to be invited anyway.  Probably a whole lot sharper than some people gave her credit for, too.

Back to the subject at hand, Noctis needed another breath.  He wanted twenty more, but that would do.  Looking around, he addressed Sirius before anyone else.  “A–  Crisis.  I think I’m supposed to help with something.”  The bitter edge in his voice couldn’t have been helped.  “I sort of left.  Before we could discuss it in detail.”

As for how.  That made his stomach churn, his eyes glow subtly out of anger more than anything else.  Anger and sadness.  Unfairness.  No one was… it wasn’t supposed to happen again.  “There… was a sacrifice.”  He simplified, looking away.
