i think pierre would be the obsessed with details one and charles would be the good with people one 🤔 because pierre is very known for being a very technicality and data and mathematics based driver so i feel like he’d pay so much attention to that while charles… look at the monza vlog. he has a way with people. just my silly opinion

tbh, my initial ""casting"" of the roles in that post was more based on vibes - ive been watching true detective and s1 really Got Me with the Station Darling x Outcast Freak dynamic that marty/rust had. i saw pierre being the more well-liked detective of the two of them (in the way that he seems like he'd be able to be a Man's Man with all the other dirtbag detectives at the station) whereas charles might struggle with that, and would be focused on solving the case by any means necessary, even if that means alienating the rest of the people they work with.

but you're RIGHT that pierre has always been the more detail-oriented of the two of them. he would absolutely let the case consume him, would stop sleeping because he keeps going over fact after fact trying to get to the next break in the case that will help the rest of the town (and him) return to normal. quick to get angry and lash out because charles isn't listening to him, this isn't just conjecture this is a real link and charles just isn't seeing the full picture yet.

as for succession its so so good!! 100% rec but i have to warn u its painful. its really funny at times but i never finish an ep feeling happy 😭. if u do decide to watch it the first season is considered the weakest and it takes a few eps to get into it. by 1x05/6 it starts to get amazing tho. its one of those shows where u have to give it a while
