What was going through Orion’s mind leading up to trying to kill Sentinel (and when he accidentally axed Dee instead???) Was it similar to D-16’s in the movie? What did he do after he nearly killed Dee? Did he think he killed Dee and Starscream quietly dragged him off and used Megatronus’ cog to repair him? Did OP know what happened but couldn’t stop them from getting away?

Also, how did he get the Matrix this time?

So that actually changed after @/angstychilz and I rediscussed that!

So we believed it seemed unlikely to actually get D-16 in the way fast enough to take the hit. A blast it very fast. A swing? It's connected to his arm, so it's likely Orion would stop it before it would hit his beloved.

Instead, we decided how while D-16 would get the high guard to help him use Airachnid's memories to defame Sentinel, Orion managed to chop off Sentinel's arm, the one that the false prime turned into a blaster to shoot D with in the original (important for later).

Orion was feeling giddy at the start. He got to finally kill the mech that caused him and the other cogless bots to suffer, the mech that killed the primes for power, and the mech who hurt his beloved (quick note D was still the one who got caught and still got the scar-). When he saw D approach him in the midst of him beating up Sentinel, he is happier, before realizing that D was asking him to stop and hold back for a moment longer.

During this small pause between D and Orion near the pit while D is trying to convince Orion to not kill Sentinel, and Orion is trying to force D to agree with him like he always does, they miss what Sentinel is doing exactly.

In that moment, Sentinel had noticed everyone was distracted by their argument, and snatched Elita's gun from her quickly to shoot at them. Orion noticed too late, and only had seconds as he watched D fall down the pit from the blast. He sobbed for a moment as Elita and Bee quickly restrained the prime again, before Optimus went back to Sentinel and tore him apart slowly in front of everyone as revenge for killing D-16.

The moment Sentinel died, Primus gave him the Matrix of Leadership before everyone, claiming that he was worthy since he protected the people of Iacon from a dangerous threat, and through his first order he demands the destruction of any trace of Sentinel. In that moment, Starscream quickly slips to the pit edge, and steals Megatronus's cog before flying down to the pit. He wanted to keep the Prime's cog out of any cogless bot's servos out of fear they grow too dangerous, and so throwing it in the pit would be a good idea. He, Shockwave and Soundwave all respected D 16 for the mech he was, and so Starscream planned on retrieving his corpse to give him a proper burial.

Optimus did not notice Starscream doing this btw, he only saw Soundwave and Shockwave with the other high guard helping innocent bystanders move away from the destruction when it occurred, and ignored them.

When Starscream found D-16, however, he realized he was still alive, but death was near. D-16 landed on a ledge side because Primus would not let him fall any further like how Optimus did. Out of panic, Starscream quickly switched out the damaged cog for Megatronus's, and through the healing factors, he was fixed and reframed. D was surprised, and in the midst of trying to understand how he was alive, Starscream chose to have him redesignated to Megatron, to match the cog he now bore.

When Optimus and Megatron met each other, Optimus hugged him, and apologized heavily for not stopping D from taking the hit. He then tries to pull him along to tell him about what he's missed and he plans to do now that he was a Prime, as a way to rebuild their lives after everything, but Megatron immediately tries to get Optimus to call off the destruction.

This angers Optimus, and at first he believed it was Starscream's doing, since he brought Megatron back to the top of the pit. Optimus lunged at the seeker, and Megatron quickly intercepted him, and basically ensued the fight that we saw in the original.

Eventually, when Megatron's cannon is destroyed, Optimus banishes Megatron and the high guard, leading to everything I've mentioned so far.

And in the end, Orion is the only one to have carried the promise to the very end as he’s watching D-16’s back as he gets exiled from Iacon

Drawing, doodling, and writing a goofy ass AU to transformers one, aka I’m just continuing where the movie left off with some self indulgent Bee trying to fix everything XD

Not a comic, purely just me wanting more content of that movie and making it myself to cope.

The entire premise is Bee attempts to mend Orion’s and D’s relationship through the war, he’s basically the tether between them and we get to see their slow descent/growth into both the Optimus Prime and Megatron we know and love.

It’s a lot of dysfunctional family type stuff and Megs & OP still have a semi cordial relationship because of bee, but it’s complicated and gets messy because those friendship divorces always are.

The blue bot grabs (Y/n) hand pulling it up towards his face to kiss it, (Y/n) smiles trying to be kind about his actions

“Thank you sentinel, very nice to meet you.”

~Some time has passed and the sad announcement of primes death facing the quintessons, ending the war making everyone believe they have won. Not knowing that sentinel betrayed the primes working for the enemy to gain power over cybertron. Making him the new prime of cybertron their “savior”

~(Y/n) was saddened with the news of the primes death, but due to the victory over the quintessons it was called a celebration from the new prime.

“(Y/n) there’s someone here to speak with you.”

(Y/n) looks up to the mirror reflection to see one of her assistant that helps her throughout the day, but doesn’t look back,

“Tell them I’m not seeing anyone today….”

(Y/n) looks down covering her face, before the bot could say anything. A large figure pushes into the room, (Y/n) hears standing up turning to face whoever came in.

“I’m sorry I’m not seeing-“

There stood sentinel.

“Sentinel?”

Sentinel smiles and walks closer to (Y/n), grabbing her hand pulling her closer to him surprising (Y/n) by his bold actions.

“(Y/n) lovely to see you again, how you’ve been?”

(Y/n) was shock just as she was to reply she was interrupted

“Listen my dear, since our victory against the quintessons I believe a performance from you would really lift our citizens spirits up.”

(Y/n) was just lost at this point,

“Sentinel… I don’t-“

“Prime. Sentinel prime.”

(Y/n) flinch at his voice, (Y/n) not wanting more issues agrees to perform for the new prime. Sentinel delighted on (Y/n) agreement, stating that he will be excited to see (Y/n) perform for him.

Time seems to past slowly for (Y/n), After performing for the passing of the primes and our victory,

(Y/n) didn’t felt like herself, waving to the large crowd that applauded and cheered. Looking above to some of the balconies seeing sentinel prime and what seems to be his right hand bot, a very tall femme bot.

Both with smiles applauded for (Y/n).

(Y/n) gave one final bow to the crowd and walking gracefully off the stage to her personal dressing room.

Sighing in relief, she hums a low lullaby to herself. As she hums the room around her changes slowly, she removes a few pieces of her outfit. Changing into a new amor color.

(Y/n) was resting enjoying the free time she had before seeing sentinel again, looking out viewing the large city from a high building, placing another small energon cube into her mouth. Laying back to look up (Y/n) slowly closed her optics, finally feeling at peace.

Clunk-Boom!!

A loud crash startle (Y/n), waking her up looking around the room seeing a bit of dust, waving the dust away.

‘Cough’ ‘cough’ “ugh… ow my head.”

“And this is why I didn’t wanted to come!”

(Y/n) optics adjusted seeing two fingers, the two other bots didn’t seem to noticed her. They both continued their little conversation. The gray bot looks around then finally noticed (Y/n).

“Uh.. pax…”

The other red bot looks up to his friend and just as he was going to ask what’s the matter, the gray bot grabs ahold of his head making him face (Y/n). They three stood in silence, thinking whether or not to make a sound. The red bot smiles shyly slowly raising his hand waving.

“Umm hello.”

Hi I loved all the headcanons about SGTFOne, can we get some more MegOP hcs? (I may be just a little obsessed)

Does OP know that Megatron is having his sparkling? Or does he think that someone else in the high guard is the sire, and that’s another part of why he’s so desperate to get Megs back?

What would he do if he did get his servos on Megatron?

What do the other primes think of what’s going on? Are they aware of how much OP is sinking and try to get him to chill out, or are they in full support of him?

Does Starscream know that he and Skyfire have a sparkling?

What does the general Iacon public think of the angsty soap opera that is the MegOP situation?

Megop hcs!:

Optimus as Orion was an oddball by the other miners. Mainly seen as an outcast by many for his reckless behavior and high desire to be 'more than what we are', D-16 was the only one to both support him and befriend him. Losing him scared him, because he was sure he'd never find such a wonderful mech like him.

They had a small relationship during their time as miners, and would go on dates on their rare day offs (usually ending with some 'fun' before recharge).

When Megatron and the high guard tried to stop Optimus and Elita from getting the people to basically destroy the city recklessly, Optimus angrily claimed Megatron was trying to defend Sentinel's actions with the high guard, and through a fit of anger Optimus immediately had them banished. It was the first time Megatron felt betrayed by Optimus, and cried the first night on the surface.

Orion was always gentle with D-16 when they slept together. Optimus is still gentle, but will occasionally go rough if Megatron tries to steer the moment to trying to end the war.

As I mentioned before, Optimus sees Megatron as a hostage of war, and thus doesn't hold back in battle, hoping to save him.

Megatron sees Optimus as someone blinded by anger and greed and wants to convince him in some way without killing anymore bots.

Whenever Optimus successfully captures Megatron, or one of the Autobots do and bring him to him, he keeps him in his private chambers and spoils him while purposefully calling him 'D-16' and not 'Megatron'. Megatron hates it.

Megatron does not know about the bust, and Megatronus will not tell him either for his sake. Optimus is the only living mech that knows of it, and will keep it that way for life.

This is based off of a SG story that I skimmed over when going over sg Cliffjumper's story (world-building purposes, I can't find it anymore) - the first time Optimus ever actually got Megatron in his hold was by Cliffjumper successfully brainwashing him to obediently follow Optimus's command. He was 'happy' until Bee killed Cliffjumper, freeing Megatron from the brainwashing and helping him escape safely. This is also what caused Bee to get his first 'strike'.

The second time Optimus gets Megatron is when he finds him injured during a surprise Quint attack, to which he made sure he was nursed back to health, while also keeping him locked on the table. He was found by Skywarp and Starscream and brought back to their base eventually.

Optimus doesn't know that Megatron is carrying his sparkling for a long time. When he first heard about it during a stealth mission to find Megatron again (spying on the Decepticons), he did think it was one of the High guards. He thought the worst, and immediately believed it was Starscream, before quickly hearing he was in fact, the sire.

Optimus believes that Megatron and his sparkling are now being treated worse because of the existence of a Prime's sparkling, and thus grows more dangerous in battle as a warning to the Decepticons, and demands they return Megatron to him.

Megatron surrenders himself when he finds out Optimus is getting out of control, and hopes that this sparkling will bring peace in some way.

Megatron is much more emotionally sensitive pregnant, and will cry at the littlest of things. Someone bumped into him by accident? A fountain. He dropped some energon? A puddle at his feet. He starts feeling the sparkling move in him? A fucking flood. Optimus coddles him so much more though.

A massive Quint attack caused them to separate, and in that time, Megatron decided it to follow the high guard back to the surface to help Optimus and stop the Quints for good. Optimus misinterprets that as Megatron getting stolen by the high guard, leading to more misunderstandings that it hurts.

Extra hcs that aren't Megop related:

Because this is sg but still following the original storyline, the primes themselves hold some form of twisted desires of their own. The one who holds the matrix encourages this behavior depending on the holder, which right now is OP. Liege encourages his silver tongue attitude to keep the people under his obedience. Prima helps him find patience in order to strike down any enemy with enough force that they, and anyone who gets to witness it, learn not to mess with him. Alpha Trion will guide his thought process to make more powerful plans to leave a large amount of damage to the Quints. Megatronus is also affected by it when he appears through the matrix, sometimes encouraging Optimus to show no mercy in battle.

Starscream did not know about Skyfire being sparked, mainly because Skyfire suddenly disappeared one day without anyone knowing. Only during his rescue mission did he find Skyfire, and learned about the sparkling. He was tempted to stay, and Skywarp was willing to let him leave for their child, but when they got caught and Starscream nearly got shot by Rachet, he quickly rejected and escaped for safety.

Starscream will occasionally sneak into Iacon with Skywarp's ability to visit Skyfire and spend some time together. He understands Skyfire's decision, and will not stop him from raising their sparkling in the city, if only because of better resources, but only asks that their child does not grow up and forced to pick a side. This war is theirs, and theirs to die with, not to pass on.

To Iacon, the high guard are traitors that seek to ruin them like how Sentinel did, and forced Megatron to join their side when Optimus became Prime because they were 'savage mechs that desired power and greedy bastards', and knew of their relationship when they were on the surface. (OP's words)

Some Autobots don't buy that story, and will actively try to kill Megatron because of Primus's conscious desire to kill Megatron.

God… I know he’s like the most basic option to pick from the movie, but I just wanna shake TFOne Orion/Optimus around in my teeth like a dog toy.

I want to see that twunk CRY and REGRETFUL and SAD, with sparkling big tears coming from his big blue eyes. I want him to feel SO MUCH GUILT for what happened, it’s EATING HIM ALIVE.

…and he gets hugs from Bee, and Elita One giving him a shoulder to cry on, and he feels a bit better. It’s not gone, but he can manage it - even if it’s just for them.

And yet… part of him can’t be completely happy. He’ll always be carrying around that regret and sadness, because he lost the person who was most important to him. And he couldn’t stop it.
