A: Of the fanfic you’ve written, which is your favorite and why?

I think it's A New Mode of Living. I just really like how all the pieces came together, and I feel like I did a really good job not just on the characters we know but also in the crowd of OCs I placed in for "need another person to achieve X" and then I had this whole family I was in love with. It was nice.

D: What’s the most personal fanfic you’ve written?

Um, probably the Snape/Neville I orphaned awhile ago (terfs eat shit and die mad challenge). Let's just say that at the time I didn't know I had PTSD, but oh, it's all fucking in there. So, it was an accidental personal, but I think it still wins.

H: How would you describe your writing style?

Three raccoons in a trench coat who grew up on Joss Whedon and Aaron Sorkin mixed with a healthy helping of falling in love with writing styles and trying to dupe them just to see what happens.

If I had to use vocabulary words, I'd say I'm somewhat sparse and emotionally centered with a real push towards character voice and evoking the same emotions in the reader as in the work.

K:  Do you have a guilty pleasures in fic (reading or writing)?

I don't believe in guilty pleasures. I like what I like, and I indulge whenever I choose to. I have a long-standing issue with the idea of guilty pleasures that stems from it always being seemingly connected to people who like low-class things being told they shouldn't REALLY like them. And when it's not about things considered low-class by people who think their taste is better because they have cash, it's about shaming people for liking food amongst other things.

Anyway, pardon the small rant. "Guilty pleasure" is a bullshit term meant to make you feel bad for enjoying things. I want it burned to the ground.
