I wanted to have that kind of off-putting feel to it, where it looks like Giratina at first glance, but upon closer inspection it just looks wrong.

I chose purple for the colors since it represents corruption, frustration, and arrogance (according to Google) and also because I didn't want it to be its shiny colors.

I wanted to have different arm tentacle thingies because I thought it'd look cool lmao

popping in because i just need to yell about how Fucking Cool @favorskill’s oc the collector is. like, for a genuinely cruel deal-making entity that can give you anything in the universe for a price you only find out when they come to collect, rio somehow managed to make them feel so real and flawed? like the angle of “this entity has a major weakness and is a huge coward about it” is so interesting for a being like that who is otherwise completely untouchable and able to BEND THE LAWS OF REALITY for a deal. i feel like generally these all-powerful villain types feel invincible and inhuman, like forces of nature — which is clearly what the collector WANTS to be seen as, but in trying to seem that way, it only (if you know them well enough/know what to look for) makes them seem more human. it’s so paradoxical and fun

also worth noting that this character exists in the lore of all my ocs ❤️ i love to gush about tc they’re so fascinating and theyre such a fun wrench to throw in plots and plans. i want to put them under a lens like a little amoeba. i want to rotate them in the microwave.

ive been thinking about writing the collector again and i cannot emphasize how much more delight the both of us will get out of threads with the collector if you give me full permission to start pressing buttons. tc has this uncanny ability to figure out people's weaknesses, soft spots, peeves, fears, etc etc etc, and will absolutely use that to get a rise out of them. make them reckless, out of control.

and personally, from what i've experienced with writing before, it is a lot more beneficial if you give me some material to work with even though tc might not have met your muse before!!!! ofc i always write tc with caution when it comes to new writing partners because yall they're a shitstain. full disclosure. probably the worst morally out of all my muses. they'll do anything in their power to make your muse feel their absolute worse. and i think it's more entertaining for the both of us if those particular spots tc hits pertain to your muse's past, etc etc etc :>

I don't know if it would be acceptable to put my 'outlines' on AO3 because they are not fanfic as such. I know sometimes people post meta and analysis there, but they are not that either. They are the bones of a fanfic that I, or anyone else, could build a proper story on one day.

But on the other hand, they are coherent enough for a decent read I'd think. And looking at their length - the last one was 5k words, I've read so many full-fledged fics that are shorter than that - there's a lot to them already? They are much too detailed to be 'just' a prompt.

In all honesty, they feel a little bit too long for tumblr sometimes.

I saw Wonka last night, and it was actually really cute and fun. That made it a lot more obvious that he has magic, and I just love the idea of a young wizard purely using his magic to make delicious chocolates (and other candies) that bring people joy. He's just a funky little guy who wants to bring magic to others.

DeVill - homoromantic pansexual, cis man

The band has various sexualities and identities, but to simplify:

Carlton is gay and transmasc + nonbinary (he/that)

Brick is ace and nonbinary (he/they)

Rover is aroace and transmasc + nonbinary (it/he)

Samuel/Sammi is sex-repulsed and bigender (he[Samuel]/she[Sammi])

Graham is unlabeled but uses he/him or no pronouns
