Anyone notice the way Jax wasn’t all chaos-y? Just angry and wanting to leave? Usually he’s at least finding some way to make it fun for himself but he was not having this. Opportunities to mess with ragatha while she’s high. Mess with pomni instead he had a normal conversation with her and LEGIT POMNI WAS LIKE WHAT???

Gangle lowkey was getting on my nerves and that was the point. My interpretation is she was obviously a people pleaser. She wanted to give her best and was probably told by a lot of ppl in her life she needed to suck it up and smile. And accept things as they are. It’s why she only took off the mask when she was alone cuz when she’s alone is the only time she breathe.

Also she was an aspiring artist wanting to draw manga which I thought was cool.

And the way she felt so dead and tired and closing alone because again responsibility even tho you wanna leave too so when pomni offered to stay in her place she felt hesitant cuz oh no I’m burdening someone but then she takes up on the offer and leaves.

I also think maybe a suicide attempt is what landed her in the game. Or at least wanting to die. And there’s a reason this specific mask took a tool of her cuz it was over happy. That kind of smile and face we’re forced to wear in a fast food place and in customer service. The parallels to real life where no one actually cares how we feel, just do what you’re supposed to do and keep going.

Pomni’s little crush on gumigoo and how heartbroken she looked when he didn’t recognize her. Also, I think it telling how a very normal adventure like this didn’t leave her exhausted and worn out like everyone else, which means she’s still very much in her right mind.

Agatha also made me sad because I think like gangle, she also wears a mask. She feels like she has to be there for everyone. Make everyone feel welcomed. She said she hated Jax but she wanted Jax to like her, which means she cares deeply about what others think of her.

And gangle said something they spoke VOLUMES that after a while it gets hard to tell how genuine ragatha is being. I think there’s so much more to ragatha we haven’t seen yet. I like she tries very hard to be liked and there ignores herself and she needs and wants to gain that kind of trust and dependency but deep down she might not be like that all.

I also think ppl who are too nice are compensating for something. And it’s not to say she is, cuz she yells as Jax a lot but she stills trying her best to get him to like her. Her being drunk or high showed some of the true feelings she was having.

This episode wasn’t as eventful but is was filled with a lot to notate and observe.
