ngl I enjoyed season 2 of Loki, maybe more so than season 1, but it’s never not gonna bother me how American centric it is. And not in a “oh this American show is made for an American audience and that makes me mad” way, which is a dumb thing to be mad about, but just in a “why is the literal centrer of the universe America in this story about an alien norse god” kind of way. EVERYBODY in the tva is from the us. people that could come from anywhere, anywhen in the universe, all come from the same 200-ish years in the U.S.A
fcking Kang is from the USA (and the what, 19th century? Can’t remember) when I really thought season 1 was implying he was from the distant future, like the 3000s or something. It was a much coooler concept to have somebody from an unknown time period and unknown place play such a large role for once, instead of every significant MCU character being from settings we already know well
Sylvie, a *Loki* variant, meaning a Frost Giant adopted by asguardians, was suddenly free to explore all of time and space and decided to go work in a MacDonald’s in the us in the 20th century????? Why?????? Why wasn’t she downing shots on Contraxia 10000 thousand years from now? Watching stars being born a few billion years ago on a nova ship she borrowed from their year 74392? If she wanted a quiet peaceful life, how the frick is late 20th century rural America the best she could come up with? Why would she settle for that? Why not go hang out literally anywhere else tranquil and pretty in the universe?? I guess the in show explanation is that she just wound up there and decided it was good enough and she might as well stay, but why is it the best the *writers* could come up with?? how much did McDonald’s pay them? Heck, if that’s why Sylvie had to be in one, keep the mcdo and change the country, anything!
why do they not get that having every universe-significant event happen during a two centuries period in one country on one planet severely reduces the perceived scale of the universe? There are huis-clos movies that do a better job at implying a larger world than this *multiversal* time travelling adventure.

“LOKI” MARVEL STUDIOS LEGENDS EPISODES COMING SOON TO DISNEY+
Just ahead of the release of the second season of Marvel Studios “Loki” on Disney+, two new episodes of “Marvel Studios Legends” will be released on Disney+ on Friday, 29th September 2023. Expect these episodes to also be released on YouTube, as Disney has recently started releasing previous episodes for free.
Marvel Studios’ “Legends” celebrates what has come before as viewers prepare to head deeper into the ever-expanding universe. Revisit the epic heroes, villains, and moments setting the stage for future events as they unfold. Explore the stories of characters like Loki, The Winter Soldier, Hawkeye, Ant-Man, Peter Quill, Rocket, Nick Fury, and more as they travel across Earth, the cosmos, and assorted timelines.
Here are the details on the two new episodes of Marvel Studios Legends:
“Variants”
Who is Loki? Is he a raven-haired chap in a green suit with a penchant for deception and depravity? Is he instead a she with blonde hair who prefers to be called Sylvie? Or could Loki actually be an overly sensitive alligator with golden horns and a taste for cats? Truth be told, Loki is all of the above — thanks to the existence of numerous Variants. Okay… so what exactly is a Variant? This episode of LEGENDS holds the answer to that critical question, and more. A Variant is an individual that doesn’t belong to the so-called “sacred timeline,” and thus hails from a kind of alternate reality where there might exist a very different version of Loki, or someone called Mobius, or Renslayer, or Kang. Still having trouble making sense of it all? Fear not, LEGENDS has got you covered!
“TVA”
There is a “sacred timeline” — a timeline that must be protected at all costs. And let’s hope that you and I are a genuine part of it. For if not, we might one day be visited by agents of the TIME VARIANCE AUTHORITY — agents who will be obligated to “prune” us and banish us to a nightmarish world that resides in perpetual isolation at the absolute end of time. LEGENDS explores the mysterious origins of the TVA, and sifts the fact from the fiction. Are the Time-Keepers truly a trio of godlike beings responsible for the TVA’s creation? Or, could they merely be artificial figureheads meant to obscure the identity of some flesh-and-blood mastermind possessing secrets both dark and ancient? This episode of LEGENDS holds every answer.
These episodes will be a great way of getting caught up on all the necessary things you need to know before the release of the second season of “Loki”, or just give you a brief refresh.

Loki Season 2: Disney+ Confirms Marvel Studios Legends Episodes
Two new Loki-centric Marvel Studios: Legends episodes centering on Loki will begin streaming on Disney+ on September 29th.
Marvel Studios is getting ready to release the second season of Loki on Disney, and it will be the next significant chapter of The Multiverse Saga. From everything we've seen in the first trailer, Loki Season 2 looks like it will do some pretty big things for the Marvel Cinematic Universe, and it will also give fans another look at Kang the Conqueror (Jonathan Majors). Some fans may need to remember what happened in the first season, and Marvel Studios has a solution. Disney+ has confirmed that two Marvel Studios: Legends focusing on Loki will release on September 29th, a few days before Loki Season 2 premieres.
What will the Marvel Studios: Legends Loki Episode be About?
Both episodes will act as a refresher for Loki Season 1 as the second season approaches and here's how the first episode Variants is described, "Who is Loki? Is he a raven-haired chap in a green suit with a penchant for deception and depravity? Is he instead a she with blonde hair who prefers to be called Sylvie? Or could Loki actually be an overly sensitive alligator with golden horns and a taste for cats? Truth be told, Loki is all of the above — thanks to the existence of numerous Variants. Okay… so what exactly is a Variant?
This episode of 'LEGENDS' holds the answer to that critical question, and more. A Variant is an individual that doesn't belong to the so-called "sacred timeline," and thus hails from a kind of alternate reality where there might exist a very different version of Loki, or someone called Mobius, or Renslayer, or Kang. Still having trouble making sense of it all? Fear not, 'LEGENDS' has got you covered!"
Heres how the second episode titled TVA is described, "There is a 'sacred timeline' — a timeline that must be protected at all costs. And let's hope that you and I are a genuine part of it. For if not, we might one day be visited by agents of the TIME VARIANCE AUTHORITY — agents who will be obligated to 'prune' us and banish us to a nightmarish world that resides in perpetual isolation at the absolute end of time.
'LEGENDS' explores the mysterious origins of the TVA, and sifts the fact from the fiction. Are the Time-Keepers truly a trio of godlike beings responsible for the TVA's creation? Or, could they merely be artificial figureheads meant to obscure the identity of some flesh-and-blood mastermind possessing secrets both dark and ancient? This episode of 'LEGENDS' holds every answer."
What happens in in Loki Season 2?
Here's how Marvel Studios describes Loki Season 2: "Loki Season 2 picks up in the aftermath of the shocking season finale when Loki finds himself in a battle for the soul of the Time Variance Authority. Along with Mobius, Hunter B-15, and a team of new and returning characters, Loki navigates an ever-expanding and increasingly dangerous Multiverse in search of Sylvie, Judge Renslayer, Miss Minutes, and the truth of what it means to possess free will and glorious purpose."

(Sorry if this ask falls outside the scope of this blog! I do remember selfcest coming up in the past but thinking about it, that might have been before there was even an "extended" Shipcestuous...)
Has the Loki series ever come up on here? The main thing about it is that it deals with alternate timelines, with some characters wanting to streamline all parallel universes into what they call the "sacred timeline" and others wanting everyone to have free will, thus being able to make even the choices they aren't "supposed" to and that may create new alternative timelines. Because of that, there's a bunch of skipping through time and different universes and some characters meet alternate versions of themselves, called "variants."
Loki actually meets a bunch of his own variants, going from "what if Loki's invasion of Earth was successful" to Classical Comicbook Loki to Loki But As An Alligator. But the most important of them is a female Loki who hates being one variant among many, has been on the run from and fighting against the "sacred timeline" people since she was a child, and changed her name to Sylvie to better represent her individuality. They have bit of a rough first meeting but they're also immediately drawn to each other.
Loki very clearly falls in love with Sylvie but her feelings seem to be more ambiguous, as she's attracted to him and sometimes wants him close, but she's also very distrustful and headstrong so she's quick to push him away when they disagree over what they should do, and in the end, what she wants most doesn't seem to be being with Loki but rather simply having a normal, peaceful life as a regular person on Earth. The ending of the series doesn't really let them reconnect and figure it out either, as Loki sacrifices himself to protect her and everyone else and, while he doesn't die, it seems pretty unlikely that they'll ever see each other again.
Anyway, the fandom was... divided, so to say, about this ship from its very introduction.
Some antis accused the series of "promoting incest," arguing that, because they were two different people but probably still had the same DNA as well as the same family background, they were more like two twins who canonically kissed each other. Others actually identified Loki/Sylvie as selfcest, but they thought that selfcest in itself was "weird" and "gross", with some even going as far as saying that, because Loki was more or less confirmed as genderfluid in a "blink and you'll miss it" bit in the closing theme, the writers were literally separating his character in a "boy part" and a "girl part" and then making them a couple because they hadn't actually bothered to try and understand people in real life who identify as both or neither or sometimes one and sometimes the other and probably had some very weird misconceptions, as well as trying to make Loki "look cishet" anyway to mask his being queer by putting him in a seemingly straight relationship.
Shippers, on the other hand, tried to explain away Loki and Sylvie being variants of the same person, claiming it wasn't selcest because "Loki" was more a role different people played in different universes than anything elsese, because Sylvie didn't consider herself a Loki variant so she should be considered an entirely her own person by fans as well, or because her background wasn't really explored that much aside from being from Asgard and having once called herself Loki so Sylvie and Loki actually having different parents was still a possibility.
Let me tell you, it was a real MESS, lol.
Hi Anon,
I do include selfcest on the blog and I post it on the main, actually, so I'll reblog this over soon. I talk about Loki and Sylvie in this post, but that was during the first season.
The fandom's various interpretations and levels of discomfort are very interesting. It was certainly a bold choice by the writers, and I think they must have interpreted the fan reaction as mainly negative (whether that was actually the case or not) because they backed away from the relationship a lot in season 2. While Loki and Sylvie weren't indifferent to each other, the dynamic was completely different and the romantic vibes seemed to be gone. That was a huge disappointment to me and there's so much disconnect with season 1.

Loki Season 2 Episode 1 DEEP DIVE and REACTION
Thank you, Makers of Mischief, we are back with our first recap of our favorite “I'm not a Liar” show Loki Season 2 Episode 1. I will do my best to guide you in this Marvelous show as we’re actually picking up where Season 2 ended so let's dive in! This episode is titled “Ouroboros” which is a very which is a very fitting title as the episode takes time to introduce us to Ke Huy Quan's character Ouroboros, or OB for short, but it also hints at things to come when you understand the origin of the word. "Ouroboros" is a captivating concept often depicted as a symbol or image of a serpent or dragon eating its own tail. This ancient symbol has roots in various mythologies and cultures, including ancient Egyptian, Norse, and Greek traditions. It represents the cyclical nature of life, death, and rebirth, as well as the infinite and eternal cycle of existence. The Ouroboros is a powerful metaphor for self-renewal, transformation, and the idea that endings are inherently linked to new beginnings. It has been used in art, literature, and philosophy to explore themes of time, eternity, and the never-ending cycle of change. In the context of "Loki" Season 2, the title "Ouroboros" hints at intriguing possibilities. Given the time-traveling and multiverse aspects introduced in the first season, it's conceivable that the show will continue to explore the cyclical nature of time and the consequences of alternate realities. The Ouroboros symbolize the interconnectedness of past, present, and future, which aligns with the show's themes of time manipulation and branching timelines. It could signify the ever-repeating patterns and challenges that Loki, as a character, faces, and how he must navigate these cycles of change and self-discovery. "Ouroboros" may also imply that the show is diving deeper into the fundamental nature of the Marvel Cinematic Universe itself, examining the cyclical and infinite storytelling possibilities that come with a multiverse concept. Fans can anticipate a season filled with mind-bending twists, where the past and future are inexorably linked in the serpent's eternal embrace. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=k7OMcr9EfJ0 "Loki” Season 2 picks up in the aftermath of the shocking season finale when Loki finds himself in a battle for the soul of the Time Variance Authority. Along with Mobius, Hunter B-15 and a team of new and returning characters, Loki navigates an ever-expanding and increasingly dangerous multiverse in search of Sylvie, Judge Renslayer, Miss Minutes and the truth of what it means to possess free will and glorious purpose. In Marvel Studios’ “Loki,” the mercurial villain Loki (Tom Hiddleston) resumes his role as the God of Mischief in a series that takes place after the events of “Avengers: Endgame.” The starting point is the moment in “Avengers: Endgame” when the 2012 Loki takes the Tesseract. From there Loki lands in the hands of the Time Variance Authority (TVA), which is outside of the timeline, concurrent to the current day Marvel Cinematic Universe. In his cross-timeline journey, Loki finds himself a fish out of water as he tries to navigate—and manipulate—his way through the bureaucratic nightmare that is the Time Variance Authority and its by-the-numbers mentality. The Good: Continuity and Pacing: The episode seamlessly picks up where Season 1 left off, reminding viewers of the critical events with a concise recap. The pacing is brisk, keeping the audience engaged from the very beginning. Character Development: The interactions between Loki, Mobius, and B-15 provide insight into their characters. Loki's shock at being unrecognized and Mobius' dedication to his mission add depth to their personalities. Time Travel Mechanics: The episode introduces intriguing time travel mechanics within the TVA, adding complexity to the narrative. The concept of "time-slipping" and its impact on the timeline are well-executed and make for engaging storytelling. World-Building: We learn more about the TVA's inner workings and the consequences of Sylvie's actions, enhancing the world-building of the series. The inclusion of Broxton, Oklahoma, adds a fascinating nod to the comics. The Bad: Character Absences: While the episode delivers on many fronts, it leaves viewers eager for the appearance of Jonathan Majors' character, particularly after the tease in "Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania." Miss Minutes' Role: Miss Minutes' involvement with He Who Remains at the end of time raises questions, but her exact role and motivations remain unclear, leaving the audience wanting more clarity. Lack of Explanations: Some aspects, such as the specifics of He Who Remains' control over the TVA and the reason behind Mobius and OB's extended lifespans, could use further exploration and explanation. In summary, "Loki" Season 2, Episode 1, sets the stage for an exciting narrative with strong character dynamics and intriguing time travel mechanics. However, viewers are left with questions and eager for the development of certain plot points. The episode successfully builds anticipation for what lies ahead in the season. Read the full article

Loki season 2: Loki season 2: the entirety we know-mycyberbase [ad_1] Spoilers for Loki season 1 practice. Loki season 2 is formally taking place. Surprise Studios showed that the trickster god is returning for a 2d run of episodes within the 6th and ultimate episode of season 1 – making this the primary Disney Plus Marvel Cinematic Universe display to in fact get a 2d season. The finale left numerous tale threads to select up subsequent season, too, in addition to in long term MCU tasks. The crack of dawn of the Surprise Cinematic Multiverse (MCM) and Loki's scenario within the TVA are simply two of the cliffhangers season 2 has to get to the bottom of. Whilst Loki season 2 has a protracted strategy to pass, the display's solid and group have supplied us with some main points on subsequent season that make for attention-grabbing studying. The display's creators discovered that a 2d season was once taking place simply as they have been in manufacturing and understanding the finale – so in many ways, that climax was once formed through the information that extra tale was once at the approach. Spoilers for Loki season 1 and a few upcoming Surprise motion pictures practice. Free up date: Some distance away. One document says Loki season 2 is anticipated to movie beginning in January 2022 – which makes a 2023 liberate date most probably, given the extent of results within the display. Forged: This hasn't been introduced but, however we would no less than be expecting to peer Tom Hiddleston (Loki), Wunmi Mosaku (Hunter B-15), and Owen Wilson (Mobius) once more subsequent season – with many extra indubitably set to sign up for them. Plot: Loki has discovered himself again within the TVA, however no person is aware of who he's, and it seems that that a statue of Kang the Conqueror is within the foyer. Is he in a distinct timeline now? What have been the results of Sylvie's movements within the finale? That is what we think to shape the foundation of Loki season 2, no less than originally. Loki season 2 liberate date Loki season 2 liberate date: what we all know (Symbol credit score: Disney Plus/Surprise Studios) There is not an legitimate liberate date for season 2 but, however filming may just start faster than we expect. Consistent with a Production Weekly November 2020 listing, filming will start on Loki season 2 in January 2022. Main pictures may be believed to be going down below the display's operating identify 'Architect'. In fact, those main points can have modified since that preliminary checklist. Then again, for the reason that its 2d season is certain to proceed exploring the multiversal plot threads that its predecessor arrange (extra in this later), we might be expecting Loki season 2 to start out capturing within the close to long term. According to a Deadline document in January, Loki head author Michael Waldron has been tapped to pen season 2. Maximum of season 1's solid must be again, however we will speak about this additional down the web page. One primary group member who may not go back is season 1 director Kate Herron. She's already showed (by way of a distinct Deadline report) that she is not returning to helm the second one season, pronouncing she "all the time deliberate to be simply on for this, and to be fair, season 2 wasn’t within the [pipeline at the time]." Loki season 2 solid Loki season 2 solid: who's returning? (Symbol credit score: Surprise/Disney) There may be been no affirmation on which actors will go back, however we will speculate who would possibly reprise their roles in accordance with season 1's finishing: Tom Hiddleston as Loki Owen Wilson as Agent Mobius Gugu Mbatha-Uncooked as Ravonna Renslayer Wunmi Mosaku as Hunter B-15 Eugene Cordero as Casey Tara Sturdy as Pass over Mins Hiddleston, Wilson and Mosaku must all go back as Loki, Mobius and Hunter B-15, respectively. This prediction is in accor
dance with how season 1 ended, with Loki working into change fact variations of Mobius and Hunter B-15 at a other Time Variance Authority (TVA). That is essentially the most logical assumption we will make, in accordance with the truth that the duo do not acknowledge Loki when he confronts them. It is believable that season 2 will see a reversal of roles between Loki and the opposite two, too. On the finish of episode 6, Loki is aware of extra about He Who Stays (Jonathan Majors) and his different variants (together with Kang the Conqueror) than Mobius and Hunter B-15. So he turns out higher positioned to take at the position of 'instructor' in season 2 and convey Mobius and Hunter B-15 up to the moment on what is taking place. Mbatha-Uncooked's Renslayer may additionally go back. Within the season 1 finale, we noticed Mobius' former best friend depart the TVA to seek for whoever is liable for the lies she's been fed. We all know that this particular person is Majors' He Who Stays, however Renslayer – unwilling to hear Mobius earlier than she left – desires to determine for herself. It is conceivable, then, that Renslayer will probably be again. A Renslayer variant might be the chief of the change fact's TVA, too, just like she is within the TVA that we see in Loki season 1, which might be one of the best ways for Mbatha-Uncooked to go back. If this is not one thing Surprise makes a decision to do, regardless that, Loki and corporate would possibly meet her once more someplace within the multiverse. Cordero's Casey would possibly characteristic one way or the other. Slightly-part (however fan favourite) persona in season 1, Herron has published that Casey is "tremendous" through season 1's finale and that she hopes "there will probably be extra Casey to be loved" in season 2 (in line with THR). In a separate interview with Variety, Herron additionally teased that Casey is hired in a distinct position on this change model of the TVA, and eagle-eyed fanatics can have already spotted – in season 1's ultimate episode – what position he is prone to have subsequent time round. One persona whose long term is up within the air is Sophia Di Martino's Sylvie, with Herron hinting that Sylvie's adventure may just be over, even supposing it ended on one thing of a downer. "In my head, it was once all the time a terrible good-bye," Herron informed THR of Sylvie and Loki's parting of the tactics. It is been a protracted adventure! All episodes of Surprise Studios' #Loki at the moment are streaming on @DisneyPlus. %.twitter.com/EbkkJeDWz7July 18, 2021 See extra Herron's feedback would possibly simply allude to the truth that Loki and Sylvie are on separate paths now, however they may be interpreted as Di Martino now not reprising her position. Then again, that does not imply Di Martino may not go back. In the similar THR interview, Herron states that "on her (Sylvie) adventure of self-healing, she’s now not the place he (Loki) is." Because of this Sylvie nonetheless has some strategy to pass to discovering inside peace, which would possibly counsel her tale within the MCM is not over – one thing Di Martino additionally alluded to. “What she does with [that sadness] is but to be noticed," Di Martino teased to Marvel.com. "It’s an enchanting position to start out any other bankruptcy.” Moreover, Di Martino mentioned "by no means say by no means" to the possibility of reprising her position in Loki season 2. Chatting with Collider, the actress thinks that Loki and Sylvie will see each and every different once more, however stored schtum on when that may well be. Including to this actual piece of hypothesis, Waldron informed Polygon that there wasn't sufficient time in Loki season 1 to discover Sylvie's backstory in additional element. The display's lead author did not rule out that audience would possibly be told extra in season 2 ("I suppose we will see"), in addition to hinting that shall we also be presented to any other MCU version of T
hor. In spite of everything, we might be expecting Tara Sturdy to lend her voice to sentient AI program Pass over Mins in season 2. There may be been no affirmation (or hints) against her inclusion subsequent season however, if the TVA is a distinguished location in Loki season 2, Pass over Mins must be part of it. Loki season 2 plot Loki season 2 plot: what is going to the tale be about? (Symbol credit score: Surprise Studios/Disney Plus) Unsurprisingly, plot main points are extraordinarily scarce at this level. Then again, Hiddleston informed Marvel.com that there were "deep, deep discussions" about what season 2 will entail, and that he hopes it will be "stuffed with much more" surprises. As we discussed within the solid phase above, one among season 2's early plot issues must maintain the fallout of Loki turning up in a distinct TVA to the only he is used to. Head author Michael Waldron additionally informed Marvel.com that there have been "other variations" referring to how season 1 would finish, however this one felt just like the logical step for the collection' ingenious workforce to take. Loki unearths himself in a TVA that he acknowledges, along people who he is aware of, however none of them are acutely aware of who he is. Season 2's opening episodes can pass one among two tactics, then, in our view. The primary would see Loki arrested and interrogated through Mobius about who he's, he's going to divulge all to Mobius about the true id of Kang (Jonathan Majors) and they are going to sign up for forces to prevent him. That might let Mobius and Loki reprise their pal cop dating from season 1's early episodes – one thing that fanatics sought after to peer extra of earlier than the display went in an absolutely other course with Sylvie's creation. On the other hand, Loki may just make a decision to take a leaf out of Sylvie's ebook. Realizing that He Who Stays' variants (Kang integrated) are a threat to the MCU, he may just make a decision to smash the TVA to get Kang's consideration, attempt to take Kang down himself and turn into a hero. That 'hero' thought is extra believable when you are taking feedback from Waldron into consideration. In the similar Polygon article (that we connected to previous), Waldron mentioned: "I believe that you just’re gonna see a Loki that appears at himself differently surely that on the best of this [season 1]", which teases the possibility of the god of mischief proceeding on his heroic trail. Kevin Feige, in regards to the Season 2 of #Loki. We simply need this! 👇 %.twitter.com/2baAb0XiMKJuly 14, 2021 See extra Except for Mobius, Hunter B-15 and the remainder of the TVA now not figuring out who Loki is, what can we learn about season 2? We would possibly to find out extra in regards to the inside workings of the TVA. As Hiddleston defined to Marvel.com, the "ethical complexity" of the TVA is an engaging topic. It was once simplest touched upon during season 1's six episodes, so shall we get a greater have a look at the way it purposes, its values and the ethical compass of its paintings power. As for He Who Stays, will he reappear? Seeing as he was once killed through Sylvie in season 1's finale, no – however we would possibly see one among his variants. It continues to be noticed if that variant will probably be Kang or now not. The season 1 finale ended with Loki taking a look at a statue of what looked to be Kang within the TVA, so it is a risk that Jonathan Majors may just characteristic in some capability. If he does, and if Loki season 2 starts filming early subsequent 12 months, it would precede Kang's subsequent look in Ant-Guy and the Wasp: Quantumania. We dive into what Loki season 1's finale method for different Surprise tasks in additional element underneath, however Majors was once staying silent when requested when his persona would flip up subsequent in an Entertainment Weekly interview. "You're taking it an afternoon at a
time. That is all I might say about that," he mentioned. "You're taking it an afternoon at a time and blank your plate and notice what the following day brings. See what the following tale is, after which take it from there." Talking of Kang, Ravonna Renslayer has an in depth dating with the time-traveling evil genius in Surprise's comics, so we are positive to peer extra of Mbatha-Uncooked in season 2. If she does seem, Mbatha-Uncooked hinted at the place Renslayer's head will probably be at. “We simply dipped our toe into [this] on the finish of the display, however that the Multiverse simply is so epic," she informed Marvel.com. "The probabilities are never-ending. There may be such a lot attainable for what is at the different facet of that Time Door. And in the end, she desires revenge with whoever put this complete facade in combination.” Herron additionally expressed her passion in seeing the display's supporting solid, reminiscent of Hunter B-15, have their backstories fleshed out. In the similar Selection interview referring to Casey's new TVA position, Herron mentioned: “I used to be like, we shouldn’t see her reminiscences [as part of episode 4]. It’s a personality that idea they'd energy and realizes they have got no energy. It felt in point of fact robust to no less than give her some energy in that situation. The reminiscences are non-public. They’re hers. Additionally, as a fan, I’m like, ‘Oh my God, who's she?!'” As for whether or not we will get more than one seasons of Loki, Waldron remained tight-lipped when Polygon inquired. "Time will inform, however I do my hope is that season 1 stands by itself," he mentioned. "We all the time sought after to inform an entire tale there. And in regardless of the subsequent bankruptcy could also be will stand by itself as smartly." Loki season 2 trailer Loki season 2 trailer: is there one? (Symbol credit score: Disney Plus/Surprise Studios) No longer but. Season 2 hasn't entered manufacturing, so a trailer may not arrive for a while. As soon as one is launched, we will replace this phase. Loki season 2: how will it have an effect on long term Surprise motion pictures and TV presentations? (Symbol credit score: Disney/Surprise Studios) Via now, Surprise fanatics will understand how essential Loki season 1 is for the MCU's long term after episode 6 in the end presented the multiverse. For starters, it is inevitable that Spider-Man: No Way Home and Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness will probably be impacted. We all know that earlier iterations of Doc Ock and Electro will seem in No Manner House, whilst Physician Odd's subsequent journey will duvet the multiverse widely (it is in its identify, finally), however what of Surprise's different upcoming motion pictures and TV presentations? What If...?, Surprise's animated anthology collection, may additionally connect with Loki's first season. Chatting with Jimmy Fallon on The This night Display (on the 8:27 mark within the video underneath), Hiddleston advised that What If...?'s premise was once constructed at the foundations laid through Loki season 1's finishing: [embed]https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hs33tuU6gr8[/embed] As for Physician Odd 2, which arrives in March 2022, Loki is claimed to seem in a cameo look. THR has claimed that Hiddleston will display up in some guise, even if Surprise is but to verify this. Jonathan Majors, in the meantime, will megastar in no less than one different Surprise belongings. Kang the Conqueror, one among He Who Stays' variants, would be the villain in Ant-Guy and the Wasp: Quantumania, which is able to release in February 2023. Right through a talk with Variety, Herron published that Majors' casting was once concurrently made along Peyton Reed, who directed the primary two Ant-Guy movies and is returning to helm the 3rd. It is recently unclear if Majors has been solid as Kang (or any other variant) in different Surprise motion pictures or TV presentati
ons. In spite of everything, from a film viewpoint no less than, Loki season 2 can have ties to Surprise's Implausible 4 MCU movie. Comedian fanatics will know that Kang has ties to Physician Doom, the Implausible 4's most renowned villain, so it is believable that this superhero workforce may just finally end up struggling with Physician Doom and a Kang variant of their first solo MCU journey. There is not any liberate date for Implausible 4 as but, so it'll be some time earlier than we will say we were given this piece of conjecture proper or now not. As for Surprise's TV display line-up (outdoor of What If...?), that is tougher to expect. Loki seasons 1 and a couple of may just tie into Hawkeye if Kate Bishop finally ends up being a variant of Jeremy Renner's Clint Barton. That is simply us speculating, regardless that, so take it with a pinch of salt. We additionally speculated on She-Hulk villain Titania being from any other universe, so this might be any other multiversal tie to the fallout of Loki season 1 if our prediction is right kind. Secret Invasion can have multiversal components, too, if Samuel L Jackson's Nick Fury has to maintain a secret inflow of time variants of MCU characters. In spite of everything, Armor Wars, which is able to megastar Don Cheadle as Conflict Device/James Rhodes, would possibly hyperlink to Kang if Surprise makes a decision to deliver Iron Lad (any other Kang variant) into the equation. We are hoping that one or two of our predictions will probably be proper however, truthfully, we are simply satisfied that Loki season 2 is within the works. We will't look ahead to extra Loki-centric, and we are positive they are going to be definitely worth the wait. These days's perfect Disney Plus offers [ad_2] #Loki #season,[email protected] , 2021-08-09 14:15:18 ,

Bad fighter Mobius M. Mobius is the best kind of Mobius M. Mobius, Actually.
I already loved Mobius more than most of the MCU characters before episode 6 came out, but THAT scene in Ravonna´s Office was really game changer for me. Until then I was actually sure, that this man is a great fighter. Because HOW THE FUCK COULD HE NOT BE, RIGHT? I mean...
he looks so sure of himself, He´s going on those missions with trained hunters all the time, he´s fearless! And then Ravonna says: “even with that, you´re of no danger to me” And I was like: Ha! keep dreaming girl He´ll show you! And Mobius was like: “Is that what you think? Let´s see..” And I was like: Yeeees that´s my boyyyyy!!!”
And then Ravonna was like...
Mobius in the air in like a split of second. And I was like
But Mobius freaking smiled and was like: “Yeah you were right”
ok. OK. HE´S MY FUCKING FAVOURITE NOW. THERE IS NO ONE BETTER THEN HIM SORRY. Suddenly I was lost. I was blown away. It was HE BETTER STAYS IN MCU FOREVER OR I WILL SCREAM type of feeling. So let me get this straight. He can´t fight. He probably knows that he is not a good fighter, and he... HOLY SHIT. THE WHOLE SERIES IS SO MUCH BETTER!!! .... As much as I love the idea of strong Mobius with long hair and daggers, looking for Loki through entire universe… I´m not sure, if I really want to see that in canon. I just love this cute and non-combatant version of Mobius too much, I´m sorry! Let me explain my weird brain please: we have lots of strong heroes in MCU – those who are great fighters, or those who had to learn how to fight. The one thing I always loved about Iron man was the fact, that he really needed his brilliant brain, his technology (suit) and bravery to fight. And in the end he was the hero who saved them all. I mean… yeah. There are side-kicks, like Happy Hogan, or Luis (Ant man´s best friend) and I LOVE them! But none of them has got as much screen time and importance, as Mobius. When I think about what I love so much about him and his dynamic with Loki, there is always this one thing that prevails: one of them is an incredibly strong but also very careful god (not when he´s drunk though) who uses a lots of strategies and plans, while the other is a tiny man in a suit who can´t fight shit but runs into the throat of a danger every chance he get and no one can´t stop him. just look at him!!!
He goes on missions with these trained hunters to just look around for clues and has no concerns about potentional harm whatsoever.
And he even finds the time to stand up for normal people and be kind to them in the process:
Once Loki has no collar, on his neck he could break all Mobius´s limbs in a matter of seconds if he wanted to, but Mobius is completely sure he has nothing to worry about around his Loki. He´s not scared of ANYTHING, especially of Loki variants. Like EVER! :D
let me break it down in detail for ya. I made a list: When they are taking Loki on his first mission outside, Loki asks, if no one is concerned that he is going to has his magic back...
well, maybe someone actually is concerned by that but it sure as hell isn´t Mobius. He just simply says that he could get Loki to Time keepers if he won´t try anything and like... this one line is getting on Loki so much, that Loki even tries to use it few moments latter xD And here is the best scene ever:
LOKI: “we can go anywhere!”
MOBIUS: “I´m not taking you for a stroll along the promenade, much less an apocalypse” FEW MOMENTS LATTER:
Hang on. Wait. So you telling me, he took this man outside without permission, without backup (you know, hunters, that actually CAN fight), right to the apocalypse, knowing that Loki can use his powers anytime, however he wants. It´s just... God. I love him!!! And then he just hands him the daggers like it´s no big deal!
Like are we all aware this man has no any super powers, no big strength, nor any impressive fighting skills and he is willing to give him daggers for a mission, where this god is capable of magic and everyone else in team ECCEPT mobius is at least able to fight????? And he just has that small bulletproof vest, and a raincoat and he chats with Loki in a rain like it was a fucking another apocalyptic DATE?
Ok. Let´s jump to the episode four He goes and persuades Ravonna to let him interrogate Sylvie and he is straight up arguing with her, even when he´s told how dangerous Sylvie is. This man LOVES danger!!!
Once he has doubts he decides to risk it all and swaps TemPads right behind Ravonnas back.
And he is watching it OUT LOUD in a place where anyone can show up at anytime!
no but serously. This is a face of a man who is EXCITED for a dangerous adventures with Loki. Yeah, lets bring this whole place down together!
And then we have this scene. Mobius really has a nerves to pull “ ha ha I had to take it by mistake” line right there.
But once he understand he´s gonna die, he just take his fate with bravery and talks to Ravonna about life he really desires.
And remember that time Ravonna warned him about this variant and how dangerous she is? He casually saves her, just like that. No big deal.
He even has a time to make teasing notes about how Sylvie should be more careful jumping to a strangers car like that and how she really is one of the Lokis.
And after he saves her, he manage to apologize to her and make her to like him. EVERY FREAKING LOKI LIKES HIM! - that has to be his super power I swear And then Sylvie is like: well actually let´s go back there, I think It´s the best idea ever. And mobius is like: What back to the angry cloud? - oh great. fuck this why the hell not. Lets do it.
so... while Loki and Sylvie are getting closer, lets show us, how literally every Loki likes Mobius (like not even alligator loki wants to hurt him, even when Mobius suggests that he is a liar I CAN´T) And just random (AGAIN) during the chat saving Loki and Sylvie (without even knowing) when he inspires Classic Loki to change.
He offers free tickets straght to the TVA to kid Loki, classic Loki and an alligator. I mean... What a LEGEND.
when he gets there he just knock on Ravonna´s door and is like - lets talk about it xDD
And he isn´t even suprised to lose that fight. He makes himself comfortable on the floor: yeah you were right. Here we go again. Just prune me already, doesn´t matter, I have my Lokis there anyway.
But make no mistake, I don´t think he is stupid, or naive. That is the most fascinating thing about him. He is brilliant. He can makes great plans (it surely as hell was him, who come up with the high school scheme) He is a great investigator, he is familiar with psychology very well, he know how to manipulate people just as well, as Loki. He can interrogate flawlessly (when jealousy is not involved) And when he woke up in the Void, he was able to escape certain death, choose a car and drive around looking for Loki - and eventualy save Sylvie. He is a very capable man. I dont think he shouldn´t have any power. Like - he has his inteligence, his knowledge of all languages (I want to see him chat with Groot please), his knowledge of psychology, knowledge of how TVA works... He can have his pruning stick, TemPad, bulletproof vest and a raincoat for what I care. but most importantly he has his kind heart, love of adrenaline, and he is a freaking Loki expert. And let´s not forget, every Loki loves him. Also, he has a damn luck as well :D It´s like - Loki always ends up loosing, so Mobius is fine - even when he should be dead about million times already. (one man´s void is another man´s piece of cake) So when they are togheter. There is no way for Loki to actually die. Not by his side xD So I don´t think he needs to become great fighter. I believe, that this is a hundred times better. Creators should explore this dynamic to it´s bottom before they make him fighter with super powers or something like that. ( I wouldn´t mind long hair though) I´m sorry. But I just really love that. I love how small and fragile he is, but he wont be scared of anything. And now he´s Loki best friend (while having masive crush on him, let's be precise ) So just imagine all those amazing scenes that could come with that. Imagine there is some very dangerous Loki variant that everyone has problem to deal with, and Mobius is gonna be like - you´re so cute guys, nice try. Now let me talk to him, will ya. Imagine some big battle where our Loki and Mobius are fighting side by side with Avengers and Loki is using all his potential, and he is so stunning in his leather but he can´t focus very well, because few metters from him is a small, fragile man in a suit just using TemPad an afucking pruning stick. And Loki didn´t even want him there in the first place. So they are arguing like married couple right then and there and every avenger AND enemy in close distance just can´t believe these two are real. also Loki saves Mobius by taking him in his arms right on time and running to safety with him
Maybe this post is completely useless and has incredibly bad english like every text I write, but I don´t care. I just wanted to loudly appreciate this mans non-fighting skills and his hilariously huge courage. End of the post. have nice day! Bye!

Why didn’t they just give Loki Sylvie’s arc in his own show? That’s what I’m struggling to understand. Is it because of Loki’s more dubious morality? Are they really that fucking lazy, that they couldn’t be bothered to work that into the story, and have Loki actually be working for some greater good, while also still being, at times, morally ambiguous? I saw someone say that the show is meant to convey how the universe manifests chaos (i.e. Loki’s) in order to break free. Okay, if that’s the case, then why couldn’t they have just had, you know, LOKI be the one driving that plot forward? Why is it Sylvie? Little miss perfect who’s never done a wrong thing in her life. Loki’s so interesting precisely because he’s done bad things, but he isn’t a BAD PERSON. He’s capable and often WANTS to do the right thing, but is often misguided and blinded by his own trauma, so he ends up doing messed up shit. I mean, the show could have explored those issues in a really interesting, and poignant way. But nope, it’s easier to shift the plan to save the universe to a perfect hero, without having to navigate any of those pesky complexities that make Loki the character he is.
At the same time, lets make Loki a literal stooge in his own show, there to serve as comic relief and a counter to Sylvie’s awesomeness, and nothing more. He has literally no impact on the plot. It’s insane, terrible, TERRIBLE writing.

Mobius' backstory delay = a really good sign for Lokius
The writers didn't just pull showing us Mobius' family from S1-- they likely shifted all the storytelling they wanted to do with that family onto the Other!Mobius we just met at the end of the S1 finale...
...and all of that is very, very good for Lokius.
How, you ask?
Consider that the one big difference from the Other!TVA to the one where we spent the rest of S1 is that they all know that a variant of He Who Remains runs the show. That heavily implies that none of the Other!TVA agents, including Mobius, are kidnapped variants. They all *just work there*. It's a regular, bureaucratic 9-5 job. No need to kidnap & brainwash people in this timeline: people are just recruited & work of their own free will. They have choices and their own lives. They go home at night when their shifts are over. Some of them likely have families. If you think the show just kicked Loki in the teeth over him realizing that he's in another timeline and this Mobius isn't his Mobius, wait until he meets this Mobius' *goddamned perfect, totally sweet, equally cinnamon-roll-y f*cking romantic partner*...
Other!Mobius: Oh, Agent Loki! I don't think you've met my other half yet. Honey, meet my new partner on the time force.
Ben Stiller (lol): So, you're the guy my husband can't stop talking about!
Loki: *dying a slow death inside* Ah, I do believe I hear B-15... Barbara... whatever her name is... summoning me for ah, some very important reason!... lovely to meet you!...
Y'all, Our Loki is going to have spent time during S2 in an alternate timeline where Mobius has a sweet guy and maybe a jet ski and probably a dog and maybe possibly a kid and definitely all the free will he can imagine and will be a lovely guy as all Mobi fundamentally are but won't be *Loki's* Mobius and won't have the experiences specifically that Loki's Mobius has that specifically make him the man who he is, who is also the man that Loki loves. All the boldly gluttonous amount of angst that the show wants to play with by giving Mobius a family around Loki just as Loki is realizing he wants to be Mobius' family is now something I'd be willing to bet they're doing with Other!Mobius in S2... for the express purpose of pushing Loki into action when he reunites with his Mobius.
The show spent time in S1 setting up the idea of Mobius regaining his memories and even had space to explore that in. I predict it was a consideration for Episode 5, when they all spent some time chilling in The Void and there was a strong theme in that episode in particular surrounding family and found family. Could they have had Mobius get his memories back and given him a family and would there still have been hope for Lokius? Of course. Mobius was almost certainly a younger adult in the 1990s, which means giving him a family without an express ability to get back to that family without, y'know, destroying the fabric of time (at least at this point in time) would have resulted in a really good, angsty plot. Or, hell, he could have *had* a family and might have even if we see his memories at some point. Maybe that husband from the other universe that Loki theorizes could be the love of Mobius' life in every universe? Maybe Loki's theory isn't wrong. He could enchant Mobius and we find out that the partner died or something. Ben Stiller could well be an universal constant, y'all, and even that might not even destroy Lokius. That's just truth.*
The point of doing anything with Mobius' various backstories on the show is going to be to advance Loki and Mobius' relationship in the present and that's going to be true even if these stupid time agent idiots don't just kiss at some point. It's true of their friendship as well as any potential romance. I think that learning what Other!Mobius' life is like in the other universe is going to lead Loki to continue to act very selflessly when it comes to his Mobius' happiness when they reunite (continuing off of having told him he was a variant in the first place in S1) and to make sure that he knows about IGiveUpOnCallingTheHusbandAnythingButBenStiller in the other universe. Loki will offer to enchant Mobius' memories back to try to reunite him with this potential long love. This'll kill them both dead inside, of course, as Loki was last seen doing the Rom Com Run of Love Awareness and Impending Confession at the end of S1 and Mobius had a scene so overtly jealous of Sylvie that they named the damn score to it "Lokius" so these two, by the time they reunite, are well aware that they are in love with one another but haven't *told* one another that yet.
Hell, this could even be how they do. What if Mobius' response is just to tell Loki that he doesn't need his memories back because who he was then isn't who he is now and he knows that he doesn't love Ben Stiller because he loves Loki and he knows without a doubt that he's never felt like this before?
Yeah, oh yeah, Lokius Nation, we're going there...
What else is the point of admitting that Tom & Owen, I mean, the writers!, decided to scrap the idea that Mobius has a guy waiting for him in a Texas Blockbuster in 1997 if not for making sure that, while there can be angst a-plenty, there ultimately isn't somebody else that our Mobius decides he has to honor his commitment to and shatter Loki into pieces over? The writers want to play with all the pain of these two, for sure, but this is Marvel, not The English Patient. (I'm making all the '90s references here, I know.) There's plenty of tragedy already here in this show that has an unusual obsession with hinting that they're steering this boat towards a version of Peggy & Steve's Endgame ending in the short term.
Kate Herron said they cut Mobius' family because they aren't sure what exactly his backstory is yet which is a way of saying that the one thing they *are* sure of is that they don't want him to have had a normal family life in the past-- otherwise, they would have just done that already. Why would you yank out all that angst when it's clear you still need to play with it because of the nature of Loki and Mobius' relationship? Why toss it to another Mobius to have the family and provide that scenario for Loki's development and his and Mobius' relationship development when there was an option to give it to our Mobius? Easy answer there:
they need a clear romantic path for our Mobius to Loki.
One could still have existed-- and still will exist-- if they give our Mobius a family in S2 but it's really suspect to me that they had plenty of opportunity to do that already and decided they didn't want to give him one and just said basically "we'll figure out exact details of his life as we go next season but it ultimately doesn't matter what the specifics of those are when it comes to our overall S2 story plotting because we know what we want the *jist* of it to be and that's that Mobius isn't missing a heck of a lot in his past life-- that the loneliness and need for adventure that he has that we know in the present is possibly also some spillover from who he was before-- and that whatever he's going to find in his memories are not going to ultimately impede furthering his relationship with Loki."
He can have a jetski empire or have been a private eye or was an accountant whose nexus event was trying to kill himself, who the hell knows-- it'll all be *interesting* when we see it but the second the writers decided that Mobius wasn't a man with a wife and 2.5 kids in '90s Texas... that's the moment that the path to Lokius just became quite a bit easier and I say that as someone who is fully aware that the two characters I am discussing are presently trapped in different timelines.
So yeah, just some writer's two cents but we'll see.
*Ben Stiller as Other!Mobius' husband in a jealous-off with our petty God of Mischief... no wait. WAIT. Ben Stiller as Other!Mobius' *Loki variant* husband... not sure how that works since this universe doesn't seem to have Lokis that we know of yet but let's deem it so and will it into existence...

Long Loki rant incoming
Ok first things first I've always liked Loki a lot as a character but I don't consider myself a really really big fan mainly because I haven't read the comics. So all this rant is gonna be only about mcu loki and loki in the mcu has been written differently depending on the movie so yeah. And on that note let's go!!!!
So today I'm gonna talk about what I liked and what I didn't like about the Loki show. This is obviously just my opinion, you can disagree with me! I'd love to hear your opinions!
First I wanna talk about is the writing of Loki's character. So previously it has been established in the mcu that Loki doesn't do bad things just because he's a bad guy or because he wants power above everything else, but because after all the manipulation and lying he went through as a child, the abuse, always been seen as less than those around him and being taught to hate himself for who he was (a Jotun). He wants validation and being treated the same as the others, he doesn't really care about ruling or being king. His actions are a result of his trauma. So the show painting him as "He's a bad guy!! He's evil he can't help it it's in his nature!! He just wants to be king!!!" felt off to me since it completely goes against all the previous canon. Apart from that, I feel the show also erased other aspects of him that had always been essential to his character, such as him being very smart and always having a plan, and his powers (he BARELY used his powers throughout the season and he's supposed to be the best sorcerer in the nine realms. Please). So yeah there's that. I didn't absolutely despise his character in the show or anything like that, he generally seemed more happy and chill and that was good, I just felt some aspects of the character seemed inconsistent.
Apart from Loki, something I loved about the show were all the new characters that we were introduced to. Sylvie was absolutely fantastic, she had a well written tragic backstory, she had a goal and she had layers. She was a really well written character. Also she was just really cool overall, she had a cool personality and seeing her use her powers was very fun. (Sylvie your hand in marriage) (I guess I can talk about the "betrayal" now. So yeah not gonna lie I don't think it was that bad. She had a goal she had been pursuing her whole life and she obviously prioritized that before a guy who she met a few days ago. She did hurt him of course but still it's easy to understand her decision.) Mobius was also really cool, in the first episode I didn't like him much but I started liking him a lot later on. He's just a good guy, he wants to help people. (HE ONLY WANTED A JETSKI MARVEL). And I liked his story a lot, he was forced into working for the tva because his memories were erased and he was told what he was doing the right thing when killing all those people, but once he finds out all of it was false he immediately starts going against it and trying to help as many people as he can. Ravonna was also a good character (I keep saying all of them are good characters lol they're well written ok). Like okay she was a little bit evil but I liked her. I really liked her ambition and her confidence. I would have loved to know more about her life at the tva, because it seemed like because of her position she knew some things that most didn't. Hunter B15 was also really good, loved her character development. Casey only appeared in the first two eps but for some reason I liked him a lot idk why. Casey my beloved. Kang was mind-blowing good, he absolutely carried the episode. He was so fun to watch and a very interesting character. This is how you do villains Marvel. And then all the Loki variants were amazing. Classic Loki was great, he was more mature and wiser than the Loki we're used to watching and I felt really sad about his whole situation (aka trying and failing to find his brother because he missed him, getting pruned and then dying). Kid loki was a BLAST, I really liked the little funky dude and I would love to know more about his life. Boastful Loki didn't appear for long but I liked him a lot, he looked like a really funny guy I wish he had had more screen time. And then there was the Lokigator which was also great. President Loki was also cool (meaning he had the coolest outfit), but we didn't see much of him. I think that's a big problem with the show, because they made it seem like it was gonna be more about the other Loki variants and their timelines (that's what it seemed to me from the trailers) but then we barely got that. Sad shit.
Now let's talk about the writing of the show in general. The writers definitely went off with the philosophical conversations, I enjoyed them greatly (Loki's and Mobius' talk in the second ep and Loki's and Sylvie's talk in the third ep were amazing). Something I didn't like at all about the show (this is probably my biggest complaint) is that the writing of the show throughout the episodes didn't seem consistent, like each episode seemed to be a different genre, and that made the whole story feel weird. What I'm trying to say is: the first episode was about Loki learning more about his life and reflecting on why he does the things he does. There was more to the episode but it was mainly that. It was a very emotional episode. The second episode looked like a cop show, they investigated a crime scene in the beginning, they did some detectiving, they had a great breakthrough and found out were the villain was hiding in the end. The third episode was an action episode. It gave me the vibes of mid season episode that isn't too relevant to the plot in which the characters go on some short mission. The fourth episode I can't exactly categorize it I think it was kinda like episode 1 but with some more action. The fifth episode was also a mix, they had a lot of reflecting on Loki's character like in the first episode and then also some action. And the last episode was mostly just exposition and a tiny bit of action at the end, very philosophical and stuff. It also felt like in the first two episodes they were indicating that the show was gonna be about free will and good and evil but that kind of disappeared for a big part of the show. I'm trying so hard to explain myself well, I hope what I say makes sense. Now my opinion on the episodes, my favourites were definitely ep 1, 3 and 5 (haha odd numbers go brrrr). The pilot was absolutely amazing, and I loved the direction the show seemed to be taking (YES MARVEL explore his trauma mmmm that's some good shit right there). It was really emotional but like in a good way. The third episode was great. I think it balanced really well the action and the dialogue, seeing Loki and Sylvie going on their shenanigans, using their powers and fighting was really fun, and then the train talk scene was absolutely amazing (bi loki yay! Gonna talk about this later). The fifth episode was great mostly because seeing all the other Loki variants and how they contrasted between each other was fantastic and I loved it. I really hope we see more of the variants in the next season. The other eps, the second and fourth were okay, the one I think was the worst one was the last one. Damn that episode. It was a very slow episode. Thank god the guy who plays Kang was really good because otherwise the episode would have been impossible to watch. There was so much exposure but it felt like we already knew most of it? They talked about how multiple timelines existing was bad because chaos and stuff, and they talked about the war in which the different timelines battled each other. Ok we already knew this. I feel like the only important thing to take from that whole talk was that Kang's variants are very powerful and dangerous and they were introducing the villain to the mcu. The whole episode felt like instead of giving closure to the characters or ending some storylines, the main thing it was doing was introducing the concept of the multiverse for the next marvel movies.
Something that surprised me a lot about the show is how important it is for the mcu storyline. Like in the first episode they talked about how the tva (and of course Kang) was much more powerful than the Infinity Stones, when basically all previous marvel movies were about them and about their power. And then Kang was revealed to have created a sacred timeline, he controls absolutely everything that happens. All of this is so important and for some reason I didn't think the show was gonna be like this. Not that I'm complaining, this is great. And I feel like a lot of people are not realising how big it is? Like I don't see much talking about how this is literally the greatest power in the universe.
Damn this is getting long sorry.
I suppose I'll have to talk about it because it has been this big thing. I'm talking about the loki x sylvie pairing. I didn't like it too much, it felt a lot like the writers went "he's a guy she's a girl so they have to fall in love", like I felt they had a very different dynamic and when they said that I was mostly surprised and confused. Because they were variants of each other their romance felt weird to me, and the fact that they made a character genderfluid and then made a woman and a man version fall in love also rubbed me the wrong way (I'll talk about the genderfluidity later). I did like the mobius x loki pairing more, but still I don't think they should have got any romance this season, I feel like there has to be a lot more progress in that relationship before any romance. I generally feel like Loki should first start getting some friends and then later on we can start with romance. But yeah this is just my opinion. And all the drama and discourse there has been over this???? Some of you guys look ridiculous not gonna lie.
Ok now let's talk about representation. I'm not poc myself so I don't feel like I'm in the position to say if something was good or bad, so I'm not gonna talk about poc rep. The show did a good job with female characters, many of the main characters were women and they were very well-written, not sexualized and cast appropriately for their age (I can't believe I'm praising this, this should be the bare minimum. Why is media in general so bad. Like please just.) About the bi rep now. I'm sure that the writers or directors of the show had to fight really hard with marvel so that they could make loki canon bi, so yeah cheers to that guys good job. Obviously it's not enough, and I really hope his bisexuality is explored more later. But yeah we finally have a queer character in the mcu this is big. Now about the genderfluid rep. OOF. I have a lot to say about this. It was bad. Really bad. I don't know if they just don't know what genderfluid means but that's what it looks like after watching the show. Not only were all of the variants cis, but they also went on to say that Loki as a woman was a weird and uncommon thing. Oh my god. And what angers me the most is the fact that Marvel used the so called genderfluid confirmation to their benefit. They exploited so much that little piece of paper that said his sex (not even gender) was fluid. I saw SO MANY articles praising marvel for making him canon genderfluid, and then it was absolutely shit. Absolutely shit. Out of everything in the show this is definitely what I hate the most.
Gotta calm down now. The soundtrack of the show was amazing, the actual songs they used were perfect and then the music they composed for the show was just *chef's kiss* (i have no idea how they're called but the song that plays during the title sequence WHAT A BANGER and the one that plays when loki and mobius are looking at the whole tva from the balcony in the first ep WHAT A BANGER). The aesthetic of the show was also great, the colours were really pretty (Lamentis bi colours my beloved) and I think it had some really cool shots. The acting was great, I'm gonna highlight Kang because I thought he was amazing. The costumes and that stuff were also really cool, I really liked seeing all the different versions of outfits they gave to the Loki variants (if anyone is interested I made another post reviewing all the variants' outfits) and Kang's funky costume was great too. The design of the places and that stuff (I have no idea how to call these lol I'm trying so hard but I don't know any of the technical words) was great: Lamentis was really beautiful, the void was also very cool and the tva was really well designed.
Ok y'all I think this is it. I'm so sorry this is much longer than I expected and if anyone actually reads all of it i love you and PLEASE tell me your thoughts (if anyone wanna chat about the show with me privately send me a message!!! I love talking with y'all). A little final note, English is not my first language, nor my second, so yeah sorry if I can't explain myself well. Bye!!!!
#i feel like this is super long and boring so if anyone actually reads all of it thanks#these are basically all my thoughts i really had to let them out#overall I'll say it was a pretty good show if we forget Loki's weird characterisation and the terrible genderfluid rep#i realized a few days ago that i can actually say whatever i want#like i can say my opinion i can say what i think and then people can disagree with me! and it's no big deal#I'm allowed to have opinions on things as well as everyone else#I'm working on some stuff#anyways that's all#please tell me what y'all think#I'd love to talk about the show!#loki spoilers#loki show#loki series#sylvie#mobius#kang the conqueror#he who remains#classic loki#kid loki#lokigator#gator loki#boastful loki#bisexual representation#genderfluid representation#ravonna renslayer#hunter b 15#marvel#marvel show#loki#an original post no way

Fic authors self rec! When you get this, reply with your favorite five fics that you've written, then pass on to at least five other writers. Let’s spread the self-love 💙
Aww, thank you for this nice ask !
Answering it, I realise I don't remember a lot of my old fics, so it's going to be a walk down memory lane. I tried to pick one from each fandom (also, my fluffy Twissy stories are all the same ^^).
5- Fairytale : Doctor Who, Twelfth Doctor/Missy.
This was my first published fanfic ever, first on that awful BBC official fanfic site that sucked a lot, then on AO3. It's a very short drabble I wrote before season 10 was over.
4- What if... Sylvie had never escaped the TVA : Loki (2021), no pairing (Ravonna/Mobius if you squint).
I haven't been very productive in the Loki series fandom yet (but I'm working on it ^^). This was a little plot bunny that bounced in my head and I had to write it. The title say it all : Sylvie never escaped the TVA and became Judge Renslayer's personal assistant. But after she meets a certain Loki variant, she realises why she never truely felt at her place in the TVA. This is a bittersweet AU where Ravonna, Mobius and this mind wiped Sylvie form an unlikely family bound by a dangerous secret and a lot of miscommunication.
3- That Distant Shore : Doctor Who, Bill Potts/Heather
A freeform exploration of a surprisingly rare pair. I took a lot of inspiration from old Lana Del Rey songs, giving a reason for Heather's offputting and rather self destructive behaviour in the show. I think Steven Moffat would approve this one because some of my headcanons would later be confirmed.
2- Little Stars : Steven Universe, no pairing
This one is very special because it's a fanfic of a fanfic. It's a reincarnation AU, using characters from the amazing ThatDastardCerberus (sorry, I forgot her Tumblr url). We ended up talking a lot on Discord and making fanarts of the characters. I think helping her raising her lovely OCs from cradle to adulthood was my nicest cooperative fandom experience.
1- The Resurrection of Lungbarrow : Doctor Who (Virgin New Adventures), no pairing
This one is one of my biggest writing achievement. My first novel length fanfic ! Spite is a powerful fuel ^^. Since the character I had became obsessed with was never heard of again in canon and had very little fanwork, I was free to do whatever I wanted with her. Including a bit of multiverse shinanigans and canon wielding ^^. This story has everything I love : sentient time machines, enticing dreamscapes and nightmarish time loops, and a lot of lies and self realisation. I am currently working on the sequel, Innocet's War.

Loki Has Officially Become the MCU's Most Important Hero
The Loki TV series promised big changes, and as it blows the Multiverse open, it makes the Asgardian trickster the MCU's most important hero.
WARNING: The following contains spoilers for the Season 1 finale of Loki, "For All Time. Always".
The Loki TV series promised big changes, and while it wasn't super shocking, given the Doctor Strange sequel already revealed the Marvel Cinematic Universe was going to explore the Multiverse, it still definitely packed a punch and shifted the status quo. But apart from messing with the Sacred Timeline, the finale also accomplishes a major achievement by making the Asgardian trickster the MCU's most important hero.
Certainly, arguments could be made for the now-deceased Iron Man, who snapped away Thanos, or Hulk, who snapped people back to life, and even Captain America for leading the time heist. Some even think the Sorcerer Supreme is going to be the deus ex machina to patch everything back together. But the reason why Loki's the main guy to watch is because he's there at the fracture point and understands what's truly going on.
The former God of Mischief is front and center, listening to He Who Remains (aka the good Kang Variant) talk about why time needs to be doctored and worlds pruned to maintain order. Loki starts understanding some bad needs to occur with the good, ergo why anomalies like Sylvie have to suffer. While he doesn't fully endorse it, Loki sees things from both perspectives and that's key in his journey.
It's why he was viewed as a successor to take over the Time Variance Authority and why he also tries to stop Sylvie from ending Kang as he doesn't want reality unraveling. The fact he's at the genesis also hints he'll also be there at the endpoint, whether it's to oversee the timeline again or find another solution that works for everyone.
This makes Loki's redemption more meaningful and emotive and allows him to connect with a bit of the dark in the Kangs, as well as the light he wants to live in. It's the price he has to pay, just like He Who Remains, who got weary and burdened from responsibility and, well, glorious purpose. Loki at the finality also evokes Thor in the comics being the All-Father at the end of time in Jason Aaron's run. It even ties perfectly into Mobius' notion that Loki could be the greatest savior ever, with a possible path being a version of Immortus-Kang himself -- one that's less jokester and more serious. He's already the God of Outcasts, so being a Time-Keeper in isolation matches a potential future.
Not to mention, it'd be an intriguing notion for the Avengers' first big villain to be the one to save everyone and everything down the line. Thus, with Loki now at the TVA as the only person who knows the truth, Strange and Wanda Maximoff need to follow his lead.
Loki is the free mind that has learned the truth straight from the horse's mouth, and when all the Kangs come, they want to silence this essential cog in the MCU machine before he does what the original Kang did and restores order.

I've been wondering if where Sylvie and Loki diverge, was the decision to "become a girl". It's the obvious difference between Sylvie and Loki (with another potential being when Sylvie was told she was adopted), and I'm sure a lot of people believe that this is where Syvie becomes a variant.
So if this is the case, and Sylvie diverged when she decided to explore her gender, it would give interesting implications to the idea that Marvel/Disney execs = time Keepers.
Hear me out:
Clearly the whole meta of this show is about free will. The Time Keepers decide for EVERYONE in the universe what they are destined to do, and force it into fruition. It kind of reminds me of content creators who have a very solid idea of who their character are - or who they aren't, following their story down the set-in-stone canon.
What if the time Keepers, like Disney, decided that Loki had to be outwardly cis. That that was Loki's path, even if I didn't fit in with who he was/his comic counterpart. And so any version of Loki that was in some way outwardly queer was struck down - until now. In this show, something happened to allow Loki to be outwardly queer. The timelines diverged, forced by a form of Loki who wanted free will. And now Loki is allowed to be who they are.
I could be talking out my arse but, like, I just think it's neat.
