It’s all Rae’s fault...

@michellemagly and I have started watching The 100. Rae won’t stop talking about it so we kinda had to (just kidding) We’re just starting season two. I apologize for all the Clexa reblogs that are going to start appearing. But I thought you would like to know some of my thoughts. Spoilers below the cut.

First of all I will talk about what I like so far. I LOVE my little lion. Clarke is my little lion because I never remember her name so I call her little lion. Lexa is obviously “raccoon” though we haven’t met her in the show yet. I love Octavia. I love nerd boy. I know his name is Monty but I never remember that either. I love Raven (sexy mechanic). They all have nicknames. Some of my lesser favorites include:

Bellamy: Dusche nozzle 

Murphy: Weasel Boy

Diana: Bitch

Monroe: Mullet girl

Cane: Council- dusche 

Anya: Borrowed Time

Jaha: Crazy Man

(I had to look up most of the actual character names because I legitimately only call them these other names.)

I love how smart the kids are. Raven is the one that is like “Um so, they’re probs just taking the things off. Like seriously, you’ve put fucking teenagers down there, what did you think would happen?” Meanwhile here in season two, Miss Lion is stalking around Mt. Weather like “Nope, this is a trap, it’s a FUCKING TRAP I CAN SMELL IT.” And then lo and behold there’s meat sickles in the secret fridge room. The arc Crew is like, “Naw we got this we’re adults okay? Seriously you guys are just savages, look at you! We’re not even going to wipe off the blood on Finn’s face because we need to show how savage you are....savages.” And then five seconds later “Oh shit, three people are kebabs.” And Dusche Nozzle is like “What did I fucking tell you!?” So yes, smart kids. Do like. I love that the women aren’t damsels. I mean, for fucks sake Octavia, the man saved your life and you beat him with a rock. Raven went through surgery WITHOUT DRUGS. Folks, I got an endoscopy and I didn’t even want to do THAT awake. Meanwhile my little lion cuts a bitch with GLASS, palms a high heel as a weapon, PALMS HER KEY CARD, fucking CUTS HER OWN ARMS. I mean these folks don’t fucking mess around. So on the whole, yes, do like. 

(please note that the following doesn’t keep me from enjoying the show and I’m just being anal retentive about things)

HOWEVER! There were some problems I have with some of the things in the show. 

WHY THE HELL WOULD YOU EVER HAVE GUNS IN SPACE. I can list so many reasons why this is the STUPIDEST thing in the whole world. Yes I know, the guards primarily only carry shocking batons, but they have all these assault rifles and hand guns and shit now. Council - Dusche said something about finding more but I have a hard time believing they just FOUND that fucking many. 

Why wouldn’t they strip people when they float them? I mean you’re sending clothes and stuff out into space. People could USE those. Wasteful is what that fucking is. Why are you only saving the fucking boots?

I feel that is was a little unrealistic that only like four kids were willing to follow Lion when they went to try to go to Mt. Weather the first time. Like, was no one there scared? Out of 100 people, no one else was like “Oh fuck, what about food? What about beds? What if there are animals here?” No? They all just wanna fuck? Okay....I guess.......

Finn was smart enough to be like “Okay the river is a boundary.” But no one was like “Maybe we should learn from the people who have OBVIOUSLY BEEN SURVIVING HERE.” Like, they shouldn’t have attacked them, but if we fucked up and didn’t know it, maybe we should talk to the natives?

And another thing. The warriors for the grounders speak English yes? Then they knew WHERE Lion was going, and WHY they were going there. They also knew they weren’t an attack party or anything. So who the fuck decided “I wanna spear the little pale kid!” 

I thought Anya was being a little unfair when she met Lion. Like, “I know the first time you ran into one of our people we threw a spear at his chest and hung him out for a lizard panther thing, but this war is COMPLETELY your fault. I mean you’re on our land and you killed our people so, totally your bad. I mean, we don’t have our territory marked, and yeah, we killed your people too, but I’m practically blameless here.” Like, really? *shakes head* I wanted her to recognize Lion as a strong opponent. I think that’s coming, I’ve seen a lot of “Commander of Death” things, and I think that becomes Lion’s title or something? 

Octavia, you sweet beautiful idiot. Why in the FUCK would you stay behind with your dusche nozzle of a brother instead of going with Abs McChisledChest? (Lincoln) I mean, I’d rather have Lion, but DAMN he’s a pretty man. 

They (finally) explained the radiation resistance with the fucking “Solar radiation” conversation in season 2. But all through season 1 I was like RADIATION DECAY IS CALCUABLE! THEY SHOULD KNOW IF THE RADIATION IS GONE OR NOT! They should be DYING....well they are, but from SICKNESS NOT SPEARS!

Someone tell me I wasn’t the only one that though the glowing butterflies were going to eat Octavia?

I would like Weasel Boy to die now please. I mean what is WRONG with you Council - Dusche?! HE KILLED SOMEONE AND YOU ARREST DUSCHE NOZZLE!? Did you see all the BODIES?! Did you think maybe sending TEENAGERS down who had to fight in a BATTLE might have had some emotional consequences?! NO? well you should have. 

Crazy Man will live forever. He keeps trying to get killed, and it keeps not working. He will outlive them all. 

Same for Doctor Mom. She really is working hard to piss off LITERALLY EVERYONE. And while they can’t float her now that she’s on Earth, she really needs to watch her step. Lion won’t take that shit, I can tell you that right now. 

I wish this wasn’t true, but @raedmagdon I can kinda see the Doctor Mechanic thing you were talking about. Fuck you.
