Day 7 and a not so new one:

Yes. It's a Muppets Christmas Carol. No I have never seen it before. I don't think Muppets have really been a thing in Sweden. Or at least not in my life.

I like it, it's a classic for a reason, both the movie and the story. I'm glad I saw it. I will have some of the songs on my mind for a few days at least.

For a very nice version of the classic: 7 out of 10 Santa's.

honestly dreaming about surprise songs is one of the most fun things about going to the eras tour lol my show isn't until the end of 2024 and i'm ready thinking up surprise songs that i'd want to hear. since she'll be resetting surprise songs and i'm assuming we'll have rep tv by the time your shows are, i am keeping my fingers crossed that she sings a rep track for you! the folklore and evermore sets are probably my favorite during the tour because they're so incredibly stunning, especially visually. the projections during august, the moss piano for champagne problems, the choreo of willow...everything about those sets are perfect and were probably my favorites of the eras tour. the rep set also really goes off so i know you'll have a great time then. the whole concert is amazing! that would be a super cute look for tour, the lover heart around the eye is *chef's kiss*

please let me know if you pick up any of the books i mentioned! i'd love to hear your thoughts! are you reading anything currently?

i'm definitely into the holiday spirit! it's been busy around here lately, but i've been watching 1-2, sometimes 3, christmas movies a night this week which has been really fun. i rewatched scott wolf and kristin chenoweth's hallmark movie the other day and it really is one of my favorites. it always makes me cry! i'll probably watch it again before the end of the year lol

Omg don't even worry! I totally get it. I was so insanely busy with work and everything, it's a miracle I even get to open tumblr anymore these days.

What have I been up to? Hm, I'm still coughing really bad like 3 weeks later, so I think I might have possibly had the C-word. Work has also been busy, since I work at a bookstore and holiday season... retail hell and so on. Working at a store doesn't really make me appreciate the holidays any more. People can be so horrible and I've barely been keeping it together.

I'm crossing my fingers for King of my Heart for Vienna concert because the friend that I'm going with (and that got me a ticket as a gift), that's her favorite song, so I really want that. I've given it a lot of thought obviously, but The Lakes would be amazing, since it's one of my faves, but also DBATC because it took me forever to not mess up the lyrics and I would proudly scream it, and I just love it so much. Ahh I am so happy you liked the folklore and evermore sets, that makes me even more excited. In a way, I'm super happy we got the movie, because that means I won't be worried about every detail, and I'll be able to be more present. I'm just so incredibly excited!! 137 DAYS!!!!

Of course I will! I'll try to get some for the holidays, maybe I'll have some time to read then. I need a break for real. So this is gonna sound funny, but there's this YA really old book series called Sadler's Wells/Ballet Slippers. And I kinda wanna do a Nace AU loosely based on the main love story in it, so I'm re-reading that hahaha. Also sometimes it just feels good to read something like that for the nostalgia, you know?

Omg, lucky you! I haven't watched any in the past week. It's been busy, and I'm just tired. I really do like that one so much! I did watch Holidate last week, I really think Emma Roberts should only do rom-coms, she is so good at them!

Tomorrow is the last hectic day at work, so I'll hopefully be a bit less busy from then on and finish setting up my tree (it's been lightless since I got sick, I know, a travesty).

1)What do you do when you’re not working?

Hmm read, I do a lot of reading, or doing some cleaning around the house.

2)Did you choose your profession or did it choose you?

I did, out of needing a job. 

3)What would you do if you won the lottery?

I’d pay off my bills, pay off my Parents bills, give them half as they need it more than me, although they’d probably try and give it back to me? Get some things fixed around the house, actually go and get my license. Oh probably still work and save the rest of the money, maybe go on holidays with my parent’s over seas.

4)What is your favorite way to relax?

Listening to my ipod, and reading a new book from my favourite authors! 

5)What is your favorite book to read?

You’re evil, this is an evil question!, God damn It’s a three way tie between Christine Feehan, Sherrilyn Kenyon and Lynsay Sand. But book?? hmm Styxx by Sherrilyn Kenyon, Dark Legacy by Christine Feehan. I HAVE TOO MANY!!

6)What makes you laugh the most?

Well for me, I laugh a lot but I grew up watching reruns of Loony Tunes on loop, and Abott and Costello movies. So I have a pretty good sens of humor. My biff is that most if not all the comedy movies out now I watch and I sit there thinking omg this is stupid, sucky and not even funny. But when you put me, my brother and my dad in a room. I’m not kidding, quoting Simpsons, Star Wars, Indiana Jones, other movies, and a cd collection of Billy Birmingham stuff which is down right hilarious! If you don’t know cricket it’s not for you, it’s rude crude. He takes a micky out of Australian Cricket commentators.  So family, and really good jokes.

7)What is your favorite holiday?

Ohh Going on a Cruise of New Zealand FKN LOVED IT!!

8)What was the last book you read/movie you saw?

Georgette Heyer-The Cotillion: Do not ask me about this book, omg the woman in this shitted me, pissed me off, it was just I wanted to wack the damn book. Thor Ragnarok, Although I watched Harry Potter and the chamber of secrets last night!

9)What are your favorite TV shows?

Charmed, Sabrina the teenage witch, CSI, Outlander, Victoria, bewitched, Rome, Friends, buffy from the seasons I watched haven’t seen it all! I can’t think of others right now.

10)What is one thing you’re glad you tried but would never do again?

I’m scared of heights, I went up the sky tower and we were on the look out level 60? and it went up to 64 I think? Anyway fk me people I was palm sweaty, trembling mess, and I stood for like 4 secs and looked down a glass panel to the street below in Auckland NZ. And got as close as I could to the glass looking out around the city. Then sat down on a seat far away from said windows! Never again people!

11)When people come to you for help, what do they usually want help with?

Funny thing, never been in a relationship, but the number of times friends have come to me about that, More recently my mum comes to me for Computer help. Even though she has done 2 computer classes. Sighs omg the times I try and keep calm, but it can be annoying because it’s the same problem all the time. I try and get her to figure it out herself, but so far not working.

Day 1 and the first movie of December 2022 is:

Love Hard

This is the "let's pretend we are together for Christmas so you can make your family happy and you can help me get the guy I like" movie of your dreams. It's literally like a fanfic cliché but not gay.

They do a very fun version of "baby it cold outside" and yes, They do have the usual second hand embarrassment but it's a sweet movie. I am not mad at it.

Final score: 7 of 10 Santas

Day 13 and Glad Lucia

It's time for another classic. The Polar Express.

I like it. I don't really care for the animation style, it's unsettling. But a good movie and one gotta love Tom Hanks. Will not go out of my way to watch it though.

It's a 6 out of 10 Santas.

Day 12 and I think this is The One

It's Noelle! This have to be the best one. Honestly, this will probably be my number 2 fave Christmas movie for all life.

The small reindeer Snowcone reminds me of my baby cat Pocky and some parts i almost cried because it was the sweetest.

If you will watch only one movie this year. Make it this one. It should really be hyped more. It's a movie Tumblr really should/would appreciate - they just haven't noticed it yet.

Day 11 and we went... A way.

This was an adventure. It was 45 minutes of just. Adventure.

As a human that loves the nutcracker ballet, this was fun, innovative and an experience I do recommend. It's an acceptable substitute as the Royal Swedish Ballet didn't put it on this year.

I watched it while building my gingerbread house and I wasn't as focused as I'd liked on the movie but I did enjoy it.

If you like music, watch it. It's not as hip hop heavy as I was prepared for - it had some awesome versions of the original music. And it's 45 minutes. Watch it while wrapping gifts, while scrolling Tumblr or just because you are in the need of an experience - no matter your feelings about Christmas.

I give it 8 out of 10 Santas.

Day 9 and I forgot to post it on the right day!

It's the movie Holidate! And it was recommended by my coworker and I really enjoyed it. It was quite a fresh take on the genre and I liked that.

Yes, I did watch it yesterday but as I was busy AF with preparing for the gingerbread house competition at work, I kinda forgot to post it.

The movie is actually worth watching if you like Christmas movies, it's a romantic comedy and covers more than one holiday. So I'd say, a modern take on Holiday Inn (which will be tonight's movie I think.)

It gets 7 out of 10 Santas.

Day 3 and it's time for my all time favourite Christmas movie.

The Holiday!

Honestly this is one of the best Christmas movies out there. It's romantic in a good way and it just warms my heart. Even the embarrassing parts are good - not wanting to turn it off because of the secondhand embarrassing is a very good sign.

Amazing actors, a fun concept and just joyful. The characters are really fun and interesting. And it's not all about romantic relationships, it's about friendship and it just gives me the happy fuzzy.

It's 10 of 10. I have yet found a Christmas movie I like more.

Day 10 and it's a new one.

It's Angel Falls Christmas.

Can we all just stop doing scenes in movies where characters ask for food/drink and then rushing out like 2 seconds later because they were late? Yes okay, not the best intro but oh my god I just noticed. And got annoyed.

I saw a post about how Chad Michael Murray's - Gabe - reminded them of Cas. They are not wrong.

And my favourite character is the Asian lady, Maureen, who is simply the best. She gets a 10 out of 10.

All in all, it's a very cosy and nice movie. It's worth watching.

The movie over all get 7 out of 10 Santas.

Day 8 and it's the one that always make me happy

It's "Phineas and Ferb: A very Perry Christmas"

Is it actually a movie and not just a Christmas episode? Yes. Yes it is. Because it was sold as a dvd. With only the movie on it.

This is my absolute favourite Christmas thing to ever exist. I love it. It gives me so much joy. All the joy.

It's a clear 10 out of 10 Perry Santas
