She really does have the worst timing. She drops her new grieving parents website and interview the day before A-lister Colin Farrell’s big new special needs kids foundation drop, which comes with a People magazine cover, extended interview and coverage everywhere. Maybe it’s because I am also a special needs mom (though for in different SN community), but his extended interview showed up in my YouTube algorithm and newsfeeds everywhere. Seemed like a huge, coordinated drop that blew any chance of hers catching completely away. He did say he wants it to be like Paul Newman’s foundation and he went big with the drop.
PS - I watched his interview - he did everything to platform the foundation and others right, like you said celebrities should be doing in 2024.
When your only purpose for service is to promote yourself and get all the attention, karma will put you in your place.

While in Düsseldorf for the Invictus Games, Meghan Markle made a visit to TrebeCafé, a drop-in center for girls and young women who are often living on the street. The café is a resource for support, advice, peace and protection.
Meghan is pictured with Aylin Aydemir.
At the TrebeCafé, young women and girls can rest, eat, change clothes &, above all, they find an open ear for their problems.
The social workers help them with conversations with their parents, with official positions, with the job or apartment search.

Using 'waste' product from recent NASA research, scientists create transformative nanomaterials
Researchers at the University of Sussex have discovered the transformative potential of Martian nanomaterials, potentially opening the door to sustainable habitation on the red planet. Using resources and techniques currently applied on the International Space Station and by NASA, Dr. Conor Boland, a Lecturer in Materials Physics at the University of Sussex, led a research group that investigated the potential of nanomaterials—incredibly tiny components thousands of times smaller than a human hair—for clean energy production and building materials on Mars. Taking what was considered a waste product by NASA and applying only sustainable production methods, including water-based chemistry and low-energy processes, the researchers have successfully identified electrical properties within gypsum nanomaterials—opening the door to potential clean energy and sustainable technology production on Mars.

For the first time, researchers have used decades of information about sex to calculate a mathematical model for achieving sexual climax. Mathematical models are used to analyze, explain, and predict behavior and physiological events like respiration, blood circulation, hearing, and vision. Now researchers have turned to the precision of math to predict another basic human function: sexual performance. Sex is not a topic that's often spoken about openly, which has hindered the collection of comprehensive, accurate data on sexual practices and sexual responses. But researchers from the University of Sussex in the UK have tackled the topic head-on. Inspired by math-based models used to analyze and improve sports performance, researchers have calculated the first-ever mathematical model of how to achieve sexual climax. The success of the mathematical model depends on direct experimental measurements and reasonably accurate data. So, the researchers combined decades of data on physiological and psychological arousal, basing their model on the pioneering work undertaken by Masters and Johnson.

I love that you think I'm "Shaun". You're adorable.
You're as cute as a fox without the cleverness, Jo. Did I specifically mention Shaun? No. We've said it before, if doesn't matter who it is because you all follow the same old script. What exactly do y'all do at the University of Sussex that you have so much free time on your dirty hands? Imagine if we made it impossible for Administration to ignore? You need that pension at your age 😏...
PS: Here's your 🍪, now GTFO.

Established in 1961, the university has earned a reputation for its interdisciplinary approach to education and its vibrant academic community. In this overview, we will delve into Sussex's QS World University Ranking, acceptance rate, accommodation options, and study abroad opportunities, providing a comprehensive understanding of what makes the university stand out.

The University of Sussex QS Ranking is one of the most respected global university ranking systems, evaluating institutions based on various criteria including academic reputation, employer reputation, faculty/student ratio, citations per faculty, and international faculty and student ratios. In the 2024 QS World University Rankings, the University of Sussex is positioned in the top 300 universities globally. This ranking highlights Sussex’s strengths in several key areas:

Nonetheless, Sussex’s consistent placement in the top 300 globally underscores its status as a leading institution in higher education.
University of Sussex Acceptance Rate
The University of Sussex Acceptance Rate is a significant factor for prospective students to consider when applying. The acceptance rate reflects the percentage of applicants who are offered admission to the university. For the 2024 academic year, Sussex has an acceptance rate of approximately 80%.
This relatively high acceptance rate can be attributed to several factors:

Competitive Entry Requirements: While the acceptance rate is high, the entry requirements for specific programs may still be competitive. Prospective students should review the requirements for their chosen course to ensure they meet the necessary academic standards.
It is important to note that while a high acceptance rate may indicate a broad admissions policy, it does not necessarily reflect the quality of education provided. The University of Sussex maintains rigorous academic standards and offers a supportive learning environment for its students.
