some brightly colored geregis for the soul!!! they make me so happy!!!
it has been an age since I’ve posted any art LMAO🫡 what can I say. I just replayed tw3 yet again and can’t wait to get through hearts of stone so I can FINALLY SEE MY BELOVED VAMPIRE
I’m definitely going to make more art of these two and. look at actual references next time. it’s not perfect but I just needed to get something drawn before I spontaneously combusted <3

drakengard remake but there needs to be one completely insane, out-of-pocket doofenshmirtz-esque background drop about something weird and traumatic that happened in leonards childhood every chapter to the point youre at the end of the game going "holy shit what is WRONG with this man". it does not need to be relevant to anything thats actually going on

Hearing the distress calls from the aliens; Silver Surfer goes to the Darkforce Dimension where he finds not only the Alien Darkforce User is held captive, there are also other Darkforce Users from Earth. Those Darkforce Users of Earth are Silhouette, Darkstar, Cloak, Black Mamba, Blackout, Moon Knight II (Maximillian Coleridge, formerly known as Shroud), and several others. Silver Surfer talks to Silhouette who is in pain from being drained as she and others were forcibly held by the vampires' magic. Silver Surfer tries to free her but the Darkforce tendrils stop him from that. When Silver Surfer tries to blast away the Darkforce tendrils, it hurts the other captive Darkforce Users instead. Realizing that severing the links would hurt or kill them, Silver Surfer had no choice but to leave them trapped in the Darkforce dimension. Silver Surfer could only provide words of comfort to Silhouette before forcibly leaving the dimension.
Blood Hunters #4, 2024

Since this short story is written by Fabian Nicieza, I am slightly relieved that the fate of Silhouette and the others in Blood Hunt storyline are not forgotten even though it hurts to see them like that. Also, I am glad that Silver Surfer acknowledged the bravery of Silhouette and the New Warriors since they fought Terrax long time ago.

If I could make a version of the defenders for dc, i think i can easily find good parables for the defenders. I'll cover the founding team members of Doctor Strange, Hulk, Namor and the Silver Surfer here. Just to show the counterparts i could think of at DC (and to demonstrate the potential of a team like this for DC):
Doctor Strange: His counterpart has to be Doctor Fate. Both of them practice the arcane and mystic arts, both have Doctor in their names, both have love interests who seem like their only supporting characters (Clea and Inza Nelson), both have very private homes (Strange has his Sanctum, Fate has his tower), etc.
The Hulk: For me, Hulk's equivalent is Etrigan. Bruce Banner would have a natural counterpart in Jason Blood. And I realize these characters are different in quite a few ways, but they're the closest counterparts each other have (i think).
Namor: Namor's counterpart just has to be Aquaman. I don't think there's anyone else it could be. Personally, i think Namor is more interesting than Aquaman. But they definitely are each other's counterparts.
Silver Surfer: I see Silver Surfer's equivalent as Martian Manhunter. They're both lonely individuals with histories of tragedy and who've lost loved ones (Martian Manhunter saw his family die, The Silver Surfer had to give up his love to save his planet). They're not identical characters, but I think they work as counterparts.
