Diana & Clark: In the Kitchen 🥄

Developing this series as a spin-off of the Gardens one. Here are SuperWonder moments in a newly remodeled kitchen on the Kent Farm. There are tomatoes and basil and delicious cooking happening.

I grow tomatoes and Basil every year so this is endearing.

obviously we're gonna go with my daughters Gina and Ashlyn

23. If they were a scented candle, what would they smell like?

Gina would be a scented candle that smells like some type of baked good with cinnamon or some other spice and it would have one of those wooden wicks that crackle as it burns

Ashlyn would be a floral scent with a hint of something smoky but it'd be a wax melt not a candle

4. Favorite line

I truly could not choose so I'm going with things they've said to each other.

talking about Belle from Beauty and the Beast when Ashlyn doesn't feel like she deserves the role (she's) "a cartoon. And you're everything."

"Gina, living with you is the closest I've ever come to having a sister"

31. If they had a tumblr what would it look like?

I'm positive Ashlyn had a tumblr and it was full of tarot readings and astrology and queer icons. She'd also reblog cute animals and quotes about love and stuff. Oh and she posts lyrics all the time without context. Moon being her middle name would come into play a lot. Maybe her url or something.

Gina would have the most elaborate and curated tumblr ever. She moved so many times its a nice little constant. She posts a lot about her travels and dancing. Her url is adancersheart and she used to reblog really sad and lonely text posts. There are also a lot of knitting tutorials.

35. Their idea of a perfect day

I think for both of them they've experienced their perfect day plenty of times.

Any time Gina can be around her favorite people (her mom, Ricky, Ashlyn etc) she's happy. And her senior year is really a dream come true isn't it? Everyone she loves is close by and she's starring in a movie??

Ashlyn prefers to spend her days with Maddox and/or Gina. Her two people she can be completely herself with. I'm talking captain of the robotics team seasoned larper musical genius triple threat talented Ashlyn. She can be her entire self.

But also watching movies and working on a musical are their favorite things to do. They're surrounded by love and creativity. It's what they deserve.

9. Scene that first made me love (or hate) the character

Ashlyn when she tells us about her larping. "So meek. So mild. SWORD."

I love it when someone describes themselves as a “super nerd” and, as their example, they mention something from Peter Jackson’s The Lord of the Rings trilogy… and I’m just sitting here like “comrade, you’ve barely unlocked ‘nerd’, sitting here describing one of the most popular fantasy settings of all time and it’s most recent iteration.” But i won’t say anything to them about it beside “cool,” or “neat”, or some other random bit of encouragement because: 1) they think they’re a nerd, so who am I to judge, 2) might be the perfect time to introduce them to miniature wargaming because GW has a LotR range [which will make them an even bigger nerd], and 3) maybe this is their way of putting out feelers, to see how tolerant of that sort of stuff their audience is.

I'm also gonna go ahead and assume she learns some level of physics in Elementalism and The Universe (plus whatever explanations she gets in PE) because I'm pretty sure she doesn't actually take any kind of physics class

like. What if elves aged 11 and under get taught physics by their private tutors and Sophie is the only one who doesn't know? SURELY Forkle/Astin would sneak a bunch of physics lessons into her first year at school, right!?

okay but i want to know how Jordan and Emma first discovered their powers. and hopefully it wasn't as traumatic as Marie or Kate

mostly i'm thinking about Emma's because she seemed surprised that crying made her shrink so did it happen for the first time when she got sick as a kid? or did she like binge all her halloween candy one year and grew 10 feet?

also imagine if it happened early like as a baby or toddler that'd be the only time i'd feel bad for her mom because kids and babies cry A LOT for obvious reasons but imagine her horror to see her daughter has shrunk out of nowhere or even worse got so small she couldn't see her?? tbh she'd deserve that scare

but also Jordan, did their other powers come first before the switching or vice versa. i bet whatever ability presented itself first happened at the moment they got the courage to talk to their first crush. that just seems like something that would happen to them.

Canon Pharma:

Has like one friend and that one friend is barely even nice to him

(That best friend is Ratchet who's notoriously coarse and more common folk aligned than anything)

Eyes the size of saucers with like 3 pairs of bags underneath them (looks like he hasn't slept in months)

Blatant signs of mental illness (mania)

Exaggerated theatrical air, constantly making dumb puns and jokes to the amusement of literally no one

Everyone hates him, like literally everyone

Has two defining traits one of which is being a massive supernerd (a really good doctor) the other of which is being neurotic (alleged "control freak")

Locked himself up for two months and came out with enough research notes to develop cures to 5 different terminal illnesses

Literally needed an alt mode exemption to get put in the intellectual class and be allowed to be a doctor bc he comes from an oppressed class

Somehow has less charisma than Ratchet who will snark/insult his patients to their face and openly say "damn I wish he would just die" a couple times

The MTMTE fandom 10 years ago, for some reason: "Ah yes, THIS GUY, yeah this guy is DEFINITELY the posh elitist snob who hates poor people out of all of the Autobots"

How in the fuck did anyone at any point in time look at the sopping wet disaster of a nerd from an oppressed social class that is Pharma and assume that this soaked kitten of a man was the best guy out of the whole cast to fanonize as a rich upper class socialite who loves decadence. Like what. That's not even an alternate character interpretation you just pulled an entire guy out of your brain like some malformed birth of Athena.

Do I have any Canadian followers?

I have, over the last week, just binged videos from these two Canadian guys who run a Hobby Store. The videos are about the wargaming hobby, but they also have a ton of videos on how to run a successful hobby store (which I find absolutely amazing because I'm a supernerd when it comes to running small businesses and seeing it from a hobby store perspective makes it extra interesting)

I, unfortunately, can't visit their store since it is on the other side of the world, but since I've watched like 50videos of them in a row, I think I should at least recommend them to someone 😂
