SUPER VECTORIZER SAFE HOW TO
SUPER VECTORIZER SAFE PROFESSIONAL
To compare the performance of these algorithm-vectorizer combinations, I measured each combination’s runtime, accuracy, and precision, recall, and F1 using both macro- and micro-averages. To train my models, I used textual data from the Kaggle Perspective API Challenge, which contained strings of text along with their binary labels for the six bullying categories in question. I also tried different vectorizers: the TFIDF vectorizer, the hashing vectorizer, the count vectorizer, and custom feature engineering, all in Python using scikit-learn. Within SVMs, I tried the linear, RBF, sigmoid, and polynomial kernels. In my experiment, I tried the support vector machine (SVM) and Naive Bayes algorithms. My model consisted of the following general pipeline: loading a piece of text, turning that text into a numerical vector using a vectorizer, running the vector through a classifier algorithm, and determining if the text was toxic, severely toxic, identity attacking, insulting, threatening, obscene, or any combination thereof. Trolls, bots, and others who post toxic speech on platforms such as Facebook and Twitter not only undermine this culture of constructive dialogue but also cause harm on a personal level by triggering depression and self-harm, in severe cases.
SUPER VECTORIZER SAFE PROFESSIONAL
Using the working definition of cyberbullying as “willful and repeated harm inflicted through the use of computers, cell phones, and other electronic devices,” I experimented with an array of machine learning models for the purpose of creating a program that could detect and address cyberbullying in real time.Īs someone who avidly uses social media for personal, academic, and professional communications as well as for informational purposes, I believe that having welcoming, safe, and constructive dialogue platforms is paramount to having fruitful conversations. The technical and non-technical guidance I received from my mentor, from AI4ALL, and from the larger network of other mentors and mentees was invaluable. I also appreciated the experiences of working through a challenging and multifaceted problem while applying technical concepts to tackle a pervasive social issue.
SUPER VECTORIZER SAFE HOW TO
On the research front, I learned how to glean and synthesize information from technical papers, and how to run experiments, compare results, and prioritize evaluation metrics in context. On the technical front, I learned how to implement support vector machines and Naive Bayes algorithms, how to refine default machine learning models by tuning parameters, how to use Python to turn text into vectors, and how to calculate evaluation metrics such as accuracy, precision (macro and micro), and runtime. Over the twelve weeks of the AI4ALL mentorship program, I worked with IBM’s CTO of Applied AI to create Humanly, a natural language processing system designed to detect cyberbullying in text.Ībove all, the program was a wonderful learning experience.

I’d love to see your one-of-a-kind creations. If these steps help you create, please share. u'interest', u'learn', u'machin', u'perman', u'post', u'provid', u'safe'. What do you think? Looks easy? I promise it’s fun, too. Mac or Windows? Who cares?! Oh, and it’s free. Also because it’s browser-based, is operating system independent. I tried multiple sites and programs for vectorizing images.
Lastly, here’s my vectorized creation with my handwritten words “Do not settle.” I marked up where in the image you’ll find vectorized graphics “Do Not Settle”, the hand-drawn heart, and this photo that I took from a tech company’s panoramic views of San Franciso.
Get to creating! Play and have fun with it.
Black is the default color, but you can change it using Canva’s color picker. From here, you get a scalable graphic that’s transparent and won’t look pixel-y as you enlarge. You don’t need the paid version to do this.
Upload that downloaded SVG image into Canva.
By default, inverse #2 is selected, but pick the one that you like.
If you want to get fancy, you can choose a filter.
It’s a requirement for the website that will create those vectors.
Take a photo of your handwritten words and export it to jpg format.
Because Canva lets you change the line color, don’t fret over marker color. This dual-tip Copic pen* (right) is the runner up. Uni Posca Bullet marker* (left) is my favorite. While any pen or marker will do, markers with the broadest points give you the boldest lines. Below, I used a blank index card and the Copic pen on the left.
Write the word or words that you want to vectorize.
Okay, let’s vectorize! For simplicity’s sake, we’ll focus on handwritten words. Their stock photos and elements become the basis of creating personalized graphics.
#Super vectorizer safe pro#
While I know I dissed stock photos, it’s part of the reason that I pay for Canva Pro.* Canva Pro comes with so many more photos and elements that the service is worth the nominal fee. Also, I absolutely love Canva* and appreciate any reason to create. Your vectorized images turn into one-of-a-kind art for your blog or for social media sharing. Good luck finding this graphic anywhere else and that’s one of the dope things about vectorizing your handwriting or photos. I wrote each word separately to make it easier to adjust the spacing and change colors. Courage follows action, though, that’s my vectorized handwriting. System initialization (Setup): Given the safety parameter.
#Super vectorizer safe pdf#
It easily trace and smooth out bitmap line art, logo, scanned images to clean outlines with all necessary details and output to tweakable vector graphics of Ai, SVG, DXF and PDF with transparency background.
#Super vectorizer safe for mac#
The fish and chalkboard background is a stock photo from Canva. a super vector subspace is used to simultaneously model these two kinds of different. Super Vectorizer Pro for Mac auto vector trace images of color and grayscale, black-and-white, outline, skeleton.

Splitters
Combining mechs do not exist.
Many have seen them; several smaller mechs that come together, each shifting into a limb to form a massive machine. Observers assume that each mech has its own pilot, a team working in perfect sync.
Observers are wrong.
Technically speaking, the machines do exist. Officially, they're known as "Super-Titan Class Multi-Vector Mechanized Assault Vehicles."
Technicians call them Splitters. They're not multiple mechs. They're one mech.
They don't have multiple pilots. They have one pilot.
A mech pilot is fully integrated into their craft, not just in body but in mind. Every aspect of their consciousness merges with the machine; they are, in essence, a secondary computing unit, working in tandem with the onboard AI.
In this state, their body is meaningless.
An AI can be partitioned into multiple parts, each one working as a smaller part of a network rather than a singular intelligence.
There is very little difference between an AI and a human consciousness. Especially those of mech pilots.
When their mech splits, so does the pilot; their mind and self cut into pieces, each fragment controlling a different part of the greater whole. They are always connected, but separate, and thus capable of far greater coordination than multiple pilots working together.
The splitting process is perfectly safe. Each piece is smaller, intertwined with the onboard AI, optimized for controlling that specific part.
The tricky part is putting the pilot back together in the same way.
Splitter pilots are even more broken than most pilots. While others fixate on unity, on the melding of flesh and steel into one, Splitter pilots become obsessed with the feeling of separation. Of being multiple selves, each one half them, half their mech.
They tend to develop psychosis, twisted forms of plurality in which they are a collective of halves. Many of them have been known to attempt to hack off their own limbs in an attempt to 'separate each other.' And of course, they feel the same yearnings as other pilots.
While regular pilots feel incomplete, Splitter pilots don't even recognize themselves as being themselves anymore. They're merely a vessel for parts of their true self, a body they couldn't care less about.
They complain even less when you use them, too.

Created an AU in which Team Chaotix accidentally got sent to the future with Silver, Blaze and Mephiles had been planning their attack on Sonic. (Silver was supposed to go but the transportational thingie backfired and wouldn't let Silver go through and sent the Chaotix 🫡) Mephiles ends up convincing the team to join him in their "cause" to destroy the Iblis Trigger, Sonic. Espio is the first to agree because he believes it could help profit the team in promoting their business as time goes on and would be happy to help keep the world safe. Vector is a bit suspicious but goes along with it, and Charmy is low-key chilling the whole time he doesn't really have too much of an opinion on the whole ordeal ^_^
The main comic here is Espio and Silver being sent to collect the Chaos emeralds so that instead of Silver just attacking him normally, he could be super and use the help of the Emeralds to kill Sonic. (But the comic is moreso a gay ass moment between these goobers)
Espio however, who was the first to agree to join Mephiles, also turns out to be the first to turn against him, as he begins to realize and put together Mephiles connection to the whole situation.

Soooo, my memory on this detail is a bit scrambled and all, but did Vector ever use the Duel Gazer he wore during the time of his Rei Shingetsu disguise as a phone or any kind of tech device? Because I cannot help but notice the lens is a shade of red that is similar enough to the one the Barian Emperors' left eyes' iris each change into when observing a duel/dueling in their human forms.
Hmm yes he did, but it’s not necessary the same red shade as his gazer. The gazer itself is only the headpiece used during duels for AR and communication, while the duel disk has all the tech functions (kinda like a phone)
It’s not super noticeable and I believe it only came up once (in Episode 87) but he pulled it out to show Yuma his Super Special Safe route to school
Tumblr media
We can tell it’s the same disk since he used it later in the episode to activate his d-gazer
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Not super extravagant, but must of the standard duel disks in the show are. I don’t think he used the headpiece in any other scenarios aside from dueling and spectating though ^^;

I've been helping this stray dog but unfortunately I have anxiety and bad ocd lol the dog eats, drinks and acts super sweet. Sleeps a lot. Very gentle. But thanks to my ocd I'm worried that the dog could have rabies since we live in a place with lots of strays and wild animals mixing. The dog seems totally fine, but my ocd is being irrational. Any tips on this when helping strays?
easiest thing to do would be to call animal services and see if they can get it vaccinated for rabies. Otherwise, try to keep it contained to your property and wait eleven days. If it has not had access to other dogs or rabies vectors in that time and is still without symptoms, it’s in the clear, but ultimately getting it vaccinated is the only truly safe method.

Thought i’d try my hand at editing mlp vectors and I think this turned out alright!
Gonna do some redesigns for the mane 6 to practice! So here’s Twilight Sparkle!
I’ll be Taking some liberties and mixing in a bit of their parents colors and what the showrunners wanted gen 5 to be in the beginning, hence Twilight here being an earth pony.
Super fun backstory under the cut!
Despite Twilight Sparkle’s parents both being unicorns, she was born an earth pony. It was a little confusing to her parents at first but going back a few generations they learn they’ve got a little earth pony mixed into their genes.
Twilight grew up becoming a huge bookworm just like canon, studying magic and different kinds if spells despite not being able to do any magic herself. And despite being an earth pony she managed to catch Celestia’s attention at a young age and was taken under her wing as a personal student.
She was sent to Ponyville to learn about friendship just like in canon, and during the battle with Nightmare Moon discovered that her knowledge came in handy with her unicorn friends magic, giving them advice on spells to use to keep them all safe.
Twilight Sparkle is the element of magic only in spirit, and lives contently in Ponyville with her friends as the town’s librarian.
This Twilight does not become an alicorn.

I'll shoot the same question to you too lol
We know the chaos puppies, but what other OCs do you have? Can I get a reminder? 👀
Ohhhh there's so many...
Let's hit the important people that aren't next gen. I'm assuming we know Professor Horne and Cornelius via Puppy association and I'm skipping them too. And I'm skipping Opal, it's safe to say we know her too.
Putting under a read more because SO MANY.
Seymour the Polar Bear - Bark's dad! (Neither party knows this yet, Vector figures it out eventually.) Wet paper bag of a man, we love how nerdy and pathetic he is. 💕
Willow the Mouse - Bark's stepmom, sweetheart.
Rosemary the Mouse - Willow's mom, a seamstress that force adopted the Chaotix when they saved her shop from robots once. A scheming nosy old thing that *will* meddle in your love life. (Be afraid, Vector and Espio lmao)
Buttercup the Polar Mouse - Bark's younger half sister, ends up being involved in all the Styx stuff because SOMEONE has to tend to Pebble's wounds and then not blab the secret (And they fall in love, aww!)
Olson the Polar Mouse - Bark's younger half brother, (one of) Charmy's besties, and eventually successfully annoys his away into being Carlisle's lab assistant.
Pebble the Hedgehog/Styx - Carlisle built a super suit (Styx) and convinced his very plain and boring friend (Pebble) to wear it. Superhero shenanigans ensue.
Europa the Siren - An evil siren sealed away in a figurehead Team Cerberus and Rough + Tumble accidentally unleashed. She'll drown you if there's water nearby and bite you if there is no water nearby.
Giermund the Viking - Europa's "husband"... She drowned him and now he's her undead lover and servant... Don't look at me like that, he's into it, it's fine...
Ursa the Polar Bear - Everyone start booing! We hate her. She's Bark's mom, she sucks! She pushed way too hard for Bark to become a snowboarder and now we know why he's selectively mute and ran away from home.
Crystal the Polar Bear - Bark's cousin (they were raised together so she's more like his sister), she's really frustrated because she wants the life Ursa's trying to force onto Bark.
Moss the Polar Bear - Bark's uncle (Ursa's brother). He wants to run his hot spring spa resort in peace but Ursa's a bully.
Veil the Chameleon - Espio's older sister. She's dead. Has been dead since Espio was 6. She haunts him because she doesn't want to go on without him and also he's an idiot.
Feel free to ask again about fankids and others! There's many many others I deemed not big players.

What if what if what IF
Dhole & Fives met and became besties.
What kind of stuff would these guys get up to 🤭
dhole and fives
A/N: Hello! Sorry this is short, hope you enjoy! Send requests please!!!
Dhole and Fives get along super well.
Ahsoka introduced them to each other. After Dhole almost killed Tarkin for her, she brought him to the 501st barracks where he got to meet everyone.
Both Dhole and Fives have this sort of crazy sunshine energy, and its hilarious to see them interacting.
Whilst Dhole isn’t much of a prankster (unlike Menace, who is even worse with Fives around), he is a funny lil guy. Him and Fives are so chaotic.
Both Fives and Dhole’s love languages are touch and physical affection, meaning after a long day, it’s very normal to find the two sleeping against each other in a gunship, the landing bay, or anywhere.
“Bloodshot! Have you seen Fives anywhere?” “Sorry, Captain, no.” “I have!” “Where?” “They fell asleep on the fly back, in the gunship. I don’t think anyone woke them up.” *sigh* “Of course.”
When Dhole smuggled Ashling back to Coruscant, he of course had some help. Notably, from Anakin and Fives. Fives 100% distracted Rex to get Ashling on board. Horribly. He was so bad at distracting. But, apparently it worked.
“Hey, Cap!” *sigh* “What is it, Fives?” “Uhm, have you seen my fish, he wandered off?” “You have a fish? Wait, hold up, what do you mean it ‘wandered off’?” “I mean, y’know, it… wandered off?” “Fives, fish can’t walk.” “Uh, this one can! He’s, uhm, a Scarifian walking fish! Yeah!” “I don’t think those are real….” “Oh! Bye, I just saw him walk into that room!” “..... What the kriff?”
Fives loves hearing stories about Dhole’s adventures as a Corrie, and is absolutely obsessed with trying to guess the outcomes to his cases.
Dhole also loves hearing about Fives’ missions in turn.
Once, Dhole, Fives, Vector, Xi and Mit all had to do a mission together, as the mission was originally for the 501st, but they also required members of the Guard, and the mission was turned into a small stealth mission.
It was a very interesting mission, but they did what they were supposed to do in the end, which was rescue a Senator - as usual - but a Separatist Senator who promised to join the G.A.R with supplies in return for safe travel.
“Hey, Fives?” “Yeah?” “The button’s blinking.” “What button, what do you mean?” “The button that means impending doom.” “What do you mea- AHH HOLY SHIT WHAT IS THAT!?!?!”
Interesting times really. I might write that (if someone requests it).
Oh and of course, they had to bring Ashling along, because Fives misses him so much and takes up every opportunity he can to get cuddles with the puppy.
“Look who I brought!” “ASHLING!!!”
Dhole and Fives are such golden retrievers, I can’t.
But also, throughout the war, they gain trauma and it affects the in a similar way, kind of. They’re both less bubbly and happy. Dhole becomes almost emotionless and stoic, whereas Fives is just sort of… lost.
In the Nay Mets au (I don’t want to make myself any sadder), they both help each other. Sometimes, you need someone just as badly mentally ill as you instead of someone unaffected. So they help each other through everything.
A/N: Hope you enjoyed!!! Send requests please!!!

For a time you had thought of Vector as a comrade? So my actual point or question was he has betrayed you all multiple times from the point of being in Barian world? I don't blame you for not forgiving him he still words for Don Thousand there is no doubt about that before you showed up he...was planning to hurt you he stated being loyal to the God. But i fear i question if he really means that. Be careful you know more than anyone his tricks.
Tumblr media
"When I returned to Barian World, I wouldn't exactly say I trusted Vector, but I did try to think of him as a comrade. I tried putting my personal grudges aside for the sake of Barian World. That was a mistake."
Tumblr media
"I won't pretend to know Vector's exact loyalties and motives right now. It's not like I've been here super long, and Merag hasn't been exactly forthright with information. But, he's betrayed us multiple times, tried to get us killed multiple times. He killed Merag and Dumon. He got his memories of his past life back in our last duel and pretended it changed him, and that was another trick."
Tumblr media
"Whether he wants to pull one over on Don Thosuand? That part doesn't concern me as much. It's whether he truly wants us dead or not. Vector could be lying for whatever reason, but it's not safe to do anything but distrust him when my neck is on the line. And if you want my personal opinion? If he wanted to change, he would have done so during our last duel."
"If you're looking for someone willing to give Vector another chance, go find Yuma. I'm just acting on the facts and evidence I have."

Operation Allied Force
The North Atlantic Treaty Organisation (NATO) carried out an aerial bombing campaign against the Federal Republic of Yugoslavia during the Kosovo War. The air strikes lasted from 24 March 1999 to 10 June 1999. The bombings continued until an agreement was reached that led to the withdrawal of Yugoslav armed forces from Kosovo, and the establishment of the United Nations Interim Administration Mission in Kosovo, a UN peacekeeping mission in Kosovo. The official NATO operation code name was “Operation Allied Force” whereas the United States called it “Operation Noble Anvil”; in Yugoslavia the operation was incorrectly called “Merciful Angel” (Serbian: Милосрдни анђео / Milosrdni anđeo) as a result of a misunderstanding or mistranslation.
NATO’s intervention was prompted by Yugoslavia’s bloodshed and ethnic cleansing of Albanians, which drove the Albanians into neighbouring countries and had the potential to destabilize the region. Yugoslavia’s actions had already provoked condemnation by international organisations and agencies such as the UN, NATO, and various INGOs. Yugoslavia refused to sign the Rambouillet Accords which was offered as an initial justification for NATO’s use of force. NATO countries attempted to gain authorisation from the UN Security Council for military action, but were opposed by China and Russia, who indicated that they would veto such a measure. As a result, NATO launched its campaign without the UN’s approval, stating that it was a humanitarian intervention. The UN Charter prohibits the use of force except in the case of a decision by the Security Council under Chapter VII, or self-defence against an armed attack – neither of which were present in this case.
An important portion of the war involved combat between the Yugoslav Air Force and the opposing air forces from NATO. United States Air Force F-15s and F-16s flying from Italian airforce bases attacked the defending Yugoslav fighters, mainly MiG-29s, which were in poor condition due to a lack of spare parts and maintenance. Other NATO forces also contributed to the air war.
During the night of 24/25 March 1999: Yugoslav Air Force scrambled five MiG-29s to counter the initial attacks. Two fighters that took off from Niš Airport were vectored to intercept targets over southern Serbia and Kosovo were dealt with by NATO fighters. The MiG-29 flown by Maj. Dragan Ilić was damaged; he landed with one engine out and the aircraft was later expended as a decoy. The second MiG, flown by Maj. Iljo Arizanov, was shot down by an USAF F-15C piloted by Lt. Col. Cesar Rodriguez. A pair from Batajnica Air Base (Maj. Nebojša Nikolić and Maj. Ljubiša Kulačin) were engaged by USAF Capt. Mike Shower who shot down Nikolić while Kulačin evaded several missiles fired at him, while fighting to bring his malfunctioning systems back to working order. Eventually realising that he could not do anything, and with Batajnica AB under attack, Kulačin diverted to Belgrade Nikola Tesla Airport, hiding his aircraft under the tail of a parked airliner.[91] The fifth and last MiG-29 to get airborne that night was flown by Maj. Predrag Milutinović. Immediately after take-off his radar failed and electrical generator malfunctioned. Shortly after, he was warned of being acquired by fire control radar, but he eluded the opponent by several evasive manoeuvres. Attempting to evade further encounters, he approached Niš Airport, intending to land, when he was possibly hit by an 2K12 Kub in a friendly fire incident, but more probably he was shot down by a KLU F-16AM flown by Maj. Peter Tankink and forced to eject.
In the morning of 25 March, Maj. Slobodan Tešanović stalled his MiG-29 while landing on Ponikve Airbase after a re-basing flight. He ejected safely.
During the war Yugoslav strike aircraft J-22 Oraos and G-4 Super Galebs performed some 20–30 combat missions against the KLA in Kosovo at treetop level causing some casualties. During one of those missions on 25 March 1999, Lt. Colonel Života Ðurić was killed when his J-22 Orao hit a hill in Kosovo. It was never firmly established whether an aircraft malfunction, pilot error or if enemy action (by KLA) was the cause (NATO never claimed they shot it down).
In the afternoon of 25 March 1999 two Yugoslav MiG-29s took off from Batajnica to chase a lone NATO aircraft flying in the direction of the Bosnian border. They crossed the border and were engaged by two US F-15s. Both MiGs were shot down by Captain Jeff Hwang. One MiG pilot, Major Slobodan Perić, having evaded at least one missile before being hit ejected, was later smuggled back to Yugoslavia by the Republika Srpska police. The other pilot, Captain Zoran Radosavljević, did not eject and was killed.

What is everyone's gear loadout in Oracle? <333
Sorry for the late reply, hon.
Four examples but each person has a team they fall under and depending on what the team specializes in is what they'll mostly use as well as comfort levels. There's the usual that everyone carries which is a uniform (unless they're going in more "casual" or in "civvies"), pads, vests, appropriate footwear, communication devices, gadgets depend on the assignment and so on.
Loke: he can use any weapon. Any. He's stupid levels of good with them, scary levels of fast and accurate. He's the counter-sniper and can snipe (bolt action being his preference) as well but that's a role that's more specialized and doesn't often come up. He's the second best sniper in all of Oracle but this role comes up only when Trevor isn't available. Most of the time tho, you'll see him with ARs. His favorites are the AKs, that AR plus him being a combat medic means he has a lot more equipment on him for treating both non-humans and humans. He'll also carry a wide range of blades. He prefers flashbangs to smoke grenades. Aside from all of that he can conjure a two-headed axe as well as a bow with unlimited arrows that he can enchant.
Jelani: Jelani's all about ARs and has a soft spot for carbines. His favorite AR is the HK G36. He carries a backup Smith and Wesson M&P 2.0. I think those come with a metal frame as well but he prefers polymer. Yeah, there's the issue with the recoil but he knows what he's doing and can control that. Not a fan of any type of grenade but if needed will use them. He can also conjure a weapon but unlike berserkers he can change the shape of it despite his age and most of the time it's a type of glaive or a saex. But because dampeners are a thing he'll have backup knives. On super rare occasions he'll use a sniper though he isn't a fan.
Trevor: he's the resident sniper, in fact, he taught Loke all he knows. The best sniper Oracle has and proud owner of the world's longest confirmed kill to date (every time that record is broken irl I up Trevor's record lmao). He's often seen with the Accuracy International AXSR (bolt action, always has to be bolt action). As a backup he has a Glock that he's customized completely. As a werewolf he has use of his claws and fangs for flankers. Likes to pack smoke grenades.
Angelus: he likes rushing down targets and does a lot of flanking and in situations where either Loke or Trevor are sniping he likes to keep close around them to keep them safe from flankers and rushers. Given that he likes to move around a lot he prefers a lighter loadout. Sub-machine guns and PDWs for him. MP4, MP5SD, MP7, and so on. His very favorites though are the FN P90 and the Kriss Vector CRB. He carries arcane weapons such as an infamous blade he uses to buff his arcane abilities and his own offensive arcane abilities as well. Just like Trevor he's a werewolf and can rely on claws and fangs.

HI HI BLUE!!!
Imagine with me: Silver & Gold has settled down in the past by the Chaotix's Agency for a while now, they've been adapted quite neatly.
So Gold, moved by her passion for literature, decided to start writing her own works, she posts them on Sonic world's equivalent to AO3 and Wattpad.
Nobody knows that except for Vector, who discovered by sheer accident one day and the naturally Supportive Dad™ he is decided was better just let her warm up.
Meanwhile, Amy & Shadow are the most avid readers of her stories, but again, none of them knows about that.
Maybe Silver knows about this "anonymous writer"... Thanks to Amy he read one or two works...
Hello ^-^
Awwww, Gold the fanfic writer! I imagine she's a huge fan of like, a very sappy romance drama series that busts out a new pulp fiction book at the regular. Something like Twilight intermixed with the romantic bits of Titanic and a dash of TLC reality TV shows, but even worse in its romance and drama and sappiness and also in book form, if that makes sense. She'd love coming up with stories of her own for such things, since this girl adores anything with romance and drama! I figure she's doing her very best to hide this from the rest of the Chaotix, but since I can't imagine they have more than one computer in that household (and like, one of those super old ones with the massive cube for a screen, one of those loud laggy keyboards and a big mouse, and a giant box with its technologies(?) that you can stick the CDs in and stuff), it's a struggle to keep it all secretive and to herself. All her files have very boring mundane names like "Expenses spreadsheet" and "To-do list [date]", which allows Vector to open one by accident. But he wouldn't say anything; Silver has made it Very Clear that teasing Gold for anything is off-limits, haha. And even if Gold is suspicious that Vector knows her secret, she wouldn't dare say anything either, so that secret is safe for now! Silver meanwhile might have an inkling as well since he can pick up on her thoughts on occasion, but since he is not interested in that series at all, he doesn't care too much. As long as his big sister is having fun <3
Considering the fact Gold would have a completely mundane name on her social media as well, none of her readers can trace it back to her; at most, Shadow and Amy would know that she is also a fan of said Sappy Romance Drama in real life, but that is about it. Imagine her horror if Amy recommends her a story that she wrote herself!!

Are the ArchieSonic comics actually an 80’s/90’s syndicated cartoon? Episode 64 - 65: Two Multi-part Finale (part 11: The Case of the Pirate Princess)
Welcome back to my investigation of how Archie Comics’ Sonic the Hedgehog series was actually a syndicated cartoon from the 80’s and 90’s! It’s been awhile, eh? Sorry about the extended hiatus, but a lot of life has happened in the last two months. I went overseas on holiday, I got married, I went on my honeymoon, I came home, I got sick and lost my voice, I packed up some of my belongings and put them on a ship to Canada, I donated or sold a much, much larger chunk of my belongings, I moved out of my house and did all the terrifying cleaning that comes with that, I spent a week with my dad (internal screaming), and then I got on a plane to Western Australia to spend some time with the rest of my family. The ones I actually enjoy spending time with. xD
So for those of you coming here for the first time, or who’ve forgotten what this blog series is all about, I’ve been exploring the ArchieSonic comics and seeing how they compare to a typical syndicated cartoon from the 80’s or 90’s. You remember those old cartoons, right? All of them would have episodes based around the same old tropes. The one where the characters got shrunk, the one where they became giants, the one in space, the one where the hero and the villain have to team up, the one where the sidekick gets kidnapped, the one where the hero gets kidnapped and the sidekick has to save the day, and so on. You can check out the full list of episodes here.
When I went on hiatus I was looking at the various “finales” that we saw across ArchieSonic, and after going through EndGame, the end of the Knuckles series, the end of the Super Specials, the end of Sonic X, and the end of the pre-boot era, it’s finally time for me to move on to how the post-reboot era of ArchieSonic came to an end.
As I briefly mentioned at the end of my last post, Sonic Universe #94, featuring part 4 of The Case of the Pirate Princess, was the final Sonic comic to be released by Archie Comics, coming out about two weeks after Sonic the Hedgehog #290. If I was to going to continue doing these finales in chronological order, this would technically be the last one I should talk about. However the final three issues of Sonic the Hedgehog were a 25th anniversary celebration adapting Sonic 1, Sonic 2 and Sonic CD, so they don’t really fit for a finale. Instead I’ll be focusing on the four issues that ended the Sonic Unleashed adaptation that took up the majority of post-reboot ArchieSonic’s three year run. However I’m saving that for last, as it feels like a nice way to bring the adventures of Sonic and the Freedom Fighters to a close. So instead today I’m taking a look at the final Sonic Universe arc, which was a story written by Aleah Baker and Ian Flynn, and centred around everyone’s favourite detectives, the Chaotix!
Tumblr media
The story began with Vector meeting a new client - someone we met in a previous story when Sonic, Rotor and Amy visited the underwater city of Meropis - Lieutenant Echo the Dolphin (no, not that Echo the Dolphin. LOL)
Tumblr media
Echo had done a very thorough investigation that Vector was extremely impressed (and also intimidated) by, having followed leads from Professor Pickle in Spagonia, Honey the Cat in Empire City, and even meeting with and paying off Rouge the Bat. Rouge’s tip had led her to Westopolis in search of the pirate crew that had abducted the Princess, but this is where her investigation had been stonewalled, as the dock workers refused to give her any information. So Echo had come to the Chaotix for help, promising a generous reward from the King and Queen for Princess Undina’s safe return. Naturally Vector accepted, and after doing a little investigating, the Chaotix went to question the dock workers themselves.
Tumblr media
With the right pressure put on him, the previously unhelpful man suddenly became quite chatty!
Tumblr media
Crime never pays when Vector is on the case! So Echo and the Chaotix decided to go check The Knives out for themselves, and fortunately Echo had brought her own amphibious car. This led to a fan favourite moment:
Tumblr media
Shortly after this they (literally) bumped into another of the characters we had previously met in Meropis - Razor the Shark and his chao Crusher, who had also been tasked with searching for the missing Princess. Vector and Echo were suspicious though, as Razor was being with cagey with how he’d known to come here or that pirates were involved. But before they could question him further, the pirates themselves showed up, captured them, and brought them on board their ship.
Tumblr media
Yup, sure enough - there's the kidnapped Princess, right there in the back. The Chaotix began to fight off the pirates, but then Razor did something completely unexpected and took Echo hostage, yelling to Captain Shellbreaker that he wanted his old position back.
Tumblr media
Vector read between the lines and saw what Razor was trying to do, so he asked if the three of them could also join Shellbreaker’s crew. Espio was not pleased about this but eventually agreed to trust Vector and follow his lead. As Captain Shellbreaker had lost a lot of his previous crew and fleet to the Eggman Empire he agreed to let everyone join the crew. Echo however did not seem to catch the gist of what Razor and the Chaotix were trying to do.
Tumblr media
Undina didn’t want Echo to have to compromise her morals though, and proposed that they lock her in the brig and ask for another ransom for her. Captain Shellbreaker agreed, and asked Undina and Vector to accompany him to his study. Vector took the opportunity to ask the Princess whether or not she actually was a kidnap victim, and she explained that while the pirate crew had kidnapped her initially, she’d become more valuable to them as a crew member. Undina had been able to translate a lot of old sea charts the pirates had, which had led them to a bunch of relics they’d been able to sell for a considerable price.
Meanwhile Espio and Charmy were being introduced to the rest of the crew, and were hit with the revelation that Razor was actually the brother of one of Shellbreaker’s crew, Blade.
Tumblr media
And Vector got to have a conversation with another one of the crew, Dive.
Tumblr media
…I didn’t think much of this at first until I read the editorial section of the comic and found out that Dive is a Lemming. Then it all clicked into place for me.
Tumblr media
Jesus, that is dark. xD
While all that was going on, Espio had a chance to talk to Princess Undina in private and let her know that they and Razor were here to rescue her, and that Echo was not aware that they were only pretending to work for Shellbreaker.
Tumblr media
Hoo boy, I can just hear Princess Undina’s voice in my head. But clearly even though she talked like the stereotypical valley girl with only two brain cells rattling around in her head, it seems pretty clear she knew exactly what was going on and was doing her best to reduce the damage the pirate crew were doing.
The following morning while the ship was on approach to the island the pirates were planning to pillage, the Chaotix did their best to put together a plan to escape without rousing the suspicion of the pirates. How’d they go?
Tumblr media
Eh, mixed results.
Tumblr media
Fortunately Deena took the initiative to butt in and distracted everyone. After that Espio was able to sneak down to the brig to break Echo out of her cell and fill her in on the plan. Afterwards the Chaotix and Razor accompanied the pirates ashore to look for the next ruins site Deena had found. Once again, it became clear that Razor and Blade had very different moral ideologies.
Tumblr media
Captain Shellbreaker came across some hieroglyphs and asked Deena to translate them for him.
Tumblr media
Well, that’s not great. Deena tried to talk Shellbreaker down, but he could not be deterred - he wanted whatever was in the ruin real bad, and ordered Deena to open the entrance with her Mystic Melody. It was at this point that Vector got… a little confused.
Tumblr media
…I’d watch that movie. It looks better than The Dial of Destiny. 😛
Venturing into the ruins, the group found no treasure other than a mysterious orb on a pedestal that looked broken. Deena translated some more hieroglyphics that suggested that this was the tomb of a heroic protector, but before anyone could investigate further, Echo signalled the Chaotix that she was ready to jump into action. Charmy took the initiative to get the Captain’s keys by a… unique method.
Tumblr media
The good guys made a break for it, although Razor was a little hindered after getting stung by Opal the Jellyfish. Although his pain clearly wasn’t entirely physical:
Tumblr media
The good guys managed to get back to the ship way ahead of the pirates, but found a new problem - they may have gotten the key to operate the ship, but the system was also password protected. Everyone quickly started panicking until Vector realised that there was someone with them who knew the password, because everyone had been underestimating her.
Tumblr media
Safely away, the heroes recognised that Deena had been secretly helping them the whole time, as well keeping the pirates busy searching various ruins to try and stop them attacking other people until someone was able to rescue her. Vector proudly told her that they’d been happy to be of service and that they would take her home now. But Deena had other ideas.
Tumblr media
And so Razor returned to Meropis and reconnected with his true chosen family, Coral and Pearly. Meanwhile the Chaotix gleefully took their reward to the bank to convert them. Unfortunately…
Tumblr media
No wonder Deena had to get a job modelling for Honey the Cat. Oh well, at least Vector was able to finally get his hat.
Tumblr media
So this was a fun little story. Princess Undina had been making little background cameos frequently in the comic prior to this point, so it was nice to finally find out who she was. The Chaotix are always fun to see, Razor was a welcome return, and the new pirate characters were all pretty interesting. The animosity between Razor and Blade in particular was really interesting to watch play out.
Had Sonic Universe not been cancelled after this issue, the next arc was going to focus on each of the core Freedom Fighters going off on their own little sidequests.
Tumblr media
Issue #95 would have seen Sonic accompany Antoine back to his childhood home to explore his past and introduce a new enemy.
Tumblr media
Issue #96 was going to focus on Bunnie being sent to Blaze’s world to team up with her and Marine the Raccoon against another new enemy.
Tumblr media
Issue #97 would have seen Sally, Amy and Cream go on a quest to find the materials needed to repair Nicole after she was damaged in battle (more on that next time).
Tumblr media
And based on this cover, issue #98 would have featured Rotor and Tails and likely faced off against Rotor's evil father Tundra. But sadly it was not to be, and The Case of the Pirate Princess is the final story to be told in the pages of Sonic Universe.
Well friends, we’re almost done now. There’s just one story left for me to review for this blog series, and that is Panic in the Skies, which was published in Archie Sonic the Hedgehog #284 - 297. That’ll be next time, so stay tuned!
