Posting about Dragon Ball DAIMA because I finally watched it.

Spoilers ahead, so if you haven't watched it yet, go do it, it's good.

This anime happens after Dragon Ball Z Majin Buu saga, but before Dragon Ball Super Battle of Gods arc. One of the most common doubts is if this anime is cannon or not and if it makes Dragon Ball Super non-canon, but although it changes somethings that happened in Super, like the Majin Buu being able to split apart fusions, a fan theory that has been confirmed now, the info about time limit in Potara fusion for mortals given in Super is still correct.

Putting the retcons aside, the anime focus on a region of the Dragon Ball Cosmos that was only shown in Super Dragon Ball Heroes and Dragon Ball Xenoverse (both are not cannon game series), the Daimakai, or Demon Realm.

Also, all the races in Dragon Ball that have pointy ears are originated in the Daimakai.

The Daimakai here is very different from what we thought of it before, it has 3 levels:

Third level: it's the surface of the Daimakai, the biggest, most poor of the three levels and all citizens born here have to wear a necklace that is used by the Military Police to track them down, the ammount of abuse commited by the Police here is insane, as if you cannot pay tribute, your lifespan is reduced and you cannot escape them. Also, the air here is super dense, which limits travel speed and movement, and the crime levels are really high here.

Second level: the middle layer of the Daimakai, the air has normal density, there is a roof containing energy dense material, the floor is mostly water (with krakens in it) and this is where the namekujins and glinds (kaioshin race) came from.

First level: the bottom of the daimakai is where the nobles and the Military Police are, as well as the Demon King, that reins supreme over all the floors. Not much else to say here.

The story is about Goku and friends going to the Daimakai in order to rescue Dende and going back to adults after being turned into 6 year old children by the Demon King Gomah. Most of the story happens on the 3rd floor as it's the biggest and most challenging to traverse of the three.

It features some high demand fan service (not the sexual type) bringing to canon Vegeta Super Sayajin 3 and Goku Super Sayajin 4 (which is all red and doesn't require the Golden Oozaru, unlike the GT version.)

Goku SSJ4 also ends the debate of which form is stronger, this or Super Sayajin Blue, well, as Super Sayajin God is light-years ahead so is Blue.

Overall, it is a nice anime for nostalgia as it has a lot of similarity with the classic Dragon Ball and it was the last work Akira Toriyama did with Dragon Ball.

R.I.P. Toriyama, your masterpiece, Dragon Ball, will continue to carry over its influence, and your legacy will not be forgotten.

Com Hitto, Bandai Namco revela 12 novos personagens de Dragon Ball: Sparking Zero

Além de Hitto, Goku Instinto Superior Incompleto fará parte do elenco

Uma semana após o trágico anúncio do falecimento de Akira Toriyama, a Bandai Namco decidiu trazer um pouco de alegria aos fãs. Através da revista Shonen Jump, a editora revelou 12 novos personagens jogáveis de Dragon Ball: Sparking Zero.

As imagens da revista foram publicadas no X por “DbsHype”, perfil conhecido por trazer notícias da franquia. Conforme é possível ver nas capturas, Hitto, Toppo, Kakunsa, Dyspo, Jeice, Super Trunks, Mestre Kame, Jeice, Boter, Goku Instinto Super Incompleto, Nappa e Kale Super Sayajin Lendária serão mais lutadores do elenco.

A Bandai Namco já havia divulgado os nomes oficiais de 24 personagens. São eles:

A cada dia que passa, o hype pela chegada de Dragon Ball: Sparking Zero, sequência de Budokai Tenkaichi 3 (PS2), aumenta. Enquanto o game não é lançado, o produtor Jun Furutani trouxe alguns detalhes, confirmando a presença de personagens do anime Dragon Ball GT e do filme Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero, mas possivelmente, como DLCs.

Dragon Ball: Sparking Zero será lançado para PS5, Xbox Series e PC. Ainda não há data de estreia.

Dragon Ball: Sparking Zero terá 164 personagens jogáveis; veja os confirmados

Dos 164 personagens, 24 já tiveram seus nomes oficiais revelados Com o trailer revelado na noite deste domingo (28), Dragon Ball: Sparking Zero teve uma seleção de 164 personagens jogáveis confirmados. Não só isso, mas 24 deles já tiveram seus nomes oficialmente revelados.

Em publicação no site oficial, a Bandai Namco listou os lutadores em questão. Todos são variações de Goku e Vegeta — o novo trailer foca nos sayajins, inclusive — com transformações que vão desde Super Sayajins chegando até mesmo ao Oozaru. Veja:
