Making Waves

Hey peeps!

Sorry for the radio silence art-wise; I just finished my first semester at SCAD, so I’ve been pretty swamped with work! And surprise surprise, going to an art school where drawing is basically all of your homework doesn’t really give too much time to make personal pieces. I might post the traditional stuff I’ve been working on later though so ehh?

But this was for my Color Theory class! It was our last assignment and we could use any medium we wanted, so I was FINALLY able to pick up my precious iPad and do what I do best. So here’s a redesign of Monsoon! My ocean-themed superhero from my Super Heroines story.

I haven’t put too much focus on this world compared to DnD OCs, but it’s fun to come back to when I get tired of fantasy clothing and wanna go more sci-fi/magical girl. Monsoon’s original design was… *cringes*… but I really enjoy this new look for her. I think it properly gets across her sass and gracefulness, since she incorporates various dance styles and routines in her combat.

Anyhoo, more art in the future maybe? I’ll think about posting my homework and then I’ll maybe go over my work in my AP Art class from last year since that’s 12 already finished pieces I haven’t released yet and am still pretty proud of. Maybe I could make it a YouTube video with commentary or something?? Would people watch that???

Hey yall. Sorry for the absence. Been working on lore for a lot of things. Was focusing on Cecil at the moment.

He has a bit of new lore and a new design as well. As well as my partners character. They got a revamp as well.

My partners character is a shapeshifter. Hence the kinda heavy difference between their civilian form and hero form.

If yall are interested, I'll write more about the two of them and what I have going on.

So uh yeah. Pictures below are Marvel Rivals, Cartoon, and Live Action of what she would look like.

But about her is basically this- ahem! She grew up with no powers, went to the backyard one day and BOOM had powers. It is said that some sort of matter energy went into her through a touch of a rock.

This made her what she is today, having some sort of matter based powers. This matter based power can either create a bubble type shield, laser like attacks, flight, and small based healing.

Those pretty much labeled her as a mutant and she didn't use her powers until the professor arrived and she learned to love herself and her powers. Throughout her adventures she's ran into Loki and The Winter Soldier a few times, as well as fought against Magneto pretty much being like the professor in "Mutants and humans can live equally”. Her relationship with Adam is cute almost cause he’s learning things and she’s sorta teaching them all that but also being childish herself so it leads to silly moments.

Hey People! dreb here again,,,

As of june 16th, 2024 it is now my birthday :3 aka time to celebrate something I do every year for a while now, dreb day! I just release a bunch of stuff on dreb day, this year that includes the first page of issue 0 for the hooded hunter comic :000000
