if you're in the exorcist army then you're def interacting with them alot, but no matter where you are in heaven there's always at least one of them at your side

adam would fall first, and he'd start shamelessly flirting with you

whenever you were training he would come over and bother you, he'd use the cringiest pickup lines and call you every pet name under the sun

lute works out in the mornings and will probably go on a quick morning run before coming back inside and getting ready. she often will help you get ready and will lay out things you need for the day. adam is usually the last person ready, he's always begging for one more minute of sleep!

              Ford stared out the window.

              “Whatchya lookin’ at?” a voice asked, breaking Ford from his reverie.  Ford looked over.  At some point, Fiddleford had come back to their dorm room from his engineering lecture.  Fiddleford dropped his bookbag on his bed.

              “I’m just observing Angie and the swan she’s managed to befriend,” Ford said.  Fiddleford frowned.

              “Swan?”

              “The swan that lives in the pond in front of the building,” Ford prompted.

              “Oh, the one what tried to bite ya and keeps chasin’ ya ‘round?” Fiddleford asked.  Ford nodded.  “And Angie’s befriended it?”

              “Yes.”  Ford looked out the window again.  At some point while he’d been looking away, the swan had climbed into Angie’s lap as she sat on the grass.  Angie stroked the swan’s back gently.  “I was under the impression she preferred reptiles and amphibians.”

              “No, yer right.  Sure, Angie liked chasin’ the chickens when we were small, but that weren’t ‘cause she liked birds, it was just ‘cause they were fun to chase.”  Fiddleford joined Ford at the window.  His eyes widened.  “Well, I’ll be.”

              “What?” Ford asked.

              “I recognize that swan.”

              “Of course you do, it’s the one that-”

              “Hates yer guts, I know,” Fiddleford said dismissively.  “But it also happens to be the swan what appeared at our farm a while back.”  Ford stared at him.  “I recognize that lump in its beak.”

              “You can see that from here?”

              “I’m a rather detail-oriented feller.”

              “Well, yes, but you have glasses.”

              “They’re readin’ glasses.  I just hold onto ‘em at all times ‘cause I don’t like realizin’ I need ‘em only to not have ‘em on me.”  Fiddleford shrugged.  “Anyways, I noticed the swan on the farm seemed to like Angie, but I didn’t expect it would follow her halfway across the country.”

              “I’ve noticed it seems to be remarkably intelligent.  That’s why I’ve been trying to study it.”

              “If it really did follow Angie so far, it definitely is smarter ‘n the average bird.”  Fiddleford frowned.  “Maybe yer right to study it.”

              “I’ve been trying to!  But it just won’t let me get close,” Ford groused.

              “Maybe ask Angie to take some notes fer ya then,” Fiddleford suggested.  Ford nodded slowly.

              “I’ll do that.”

              Ford shuffled back to his dorm room, rubbing his eyes blearily.

              That’s the last time I drink coffee immediately before bed.  How many times have I had to get up to urinate?  He sighed.  Who am I kidding?  I’ll drink coffee as late as I need to in order to get work done.  He unlocked the door to his room and entered as quietly as he could.  The full moon filled the tiny room with light strong enough to read by.  It’s already almost daybreak.  Perhaps I should just stay awake.  I could watch the sunrise.

              Ford walked over to the window to watch the rising sun.  To his surprise, two figures sat by the pond.  The greater surprise, however, was that he recognized one of the people as Angie.  She and the other person, a young man, both had their backs facing the building.  Angie’s head leaned on the man’s shoulder.  A sudden protective instinct surged inside Ford.

              Am I upset that she refused to help me study that odd swan?  Yes.  Will I still observe from a distance to ensure she’s not taken advantage of?  Absolutely!  Whether I am frustrated with her or not, she’s still become like a sister to me.  Ford stepped away from the window and replaced his indoor slippers with a pair of more sturdy shoes.  He glanced over at Fiddleford, limbs akimbo and snoring loudly on his bed.  I won’t involve him.  He gets far too protective of her.

              Ford made his way downstairs, strolled through the lit but empty lobby, and exited the building as silently as he could.  As he got closer, he couldn’t shake the feeling he recognized the young man sitting with Angie.  Still, he was determined to silently watch from afar.  Until, as the sky was lightening, he saw the young man lean in.

              “No, no!” Ford yelped, rushing forward.  Angie and the young man looked over.  Ford’s heart stopped.  His feet almost did, too.  He did recognize the person who had just been about to kiss Angie.

              It can’t be.

              “Stanford, what in tarnation-” Angie started.  Ford moved past her and embraced the man.  “Uh.”

              “I can’t- I can’t believe it’s you,” Ford said, breaking off the hug and staring at his estranged twin brother.  Stan frowned at him and struggled free.  The negative response, coupled with suddenly remembering exactly why he was estranged from Stan, turned Ford’s emotions.  “I can’t believe it’s you!” Ford snarled, shoving Stan away.

              “Look, buddy, just leave me alone, okay?” Stan snapped.  He crossed his arms.  “You’re lucky I haven’t bitten your nose off for ruining the moment.”

              Bitten my nose off?

              “Stanford, go back upstairs,” Angie said shortly.

              “I have far too many questions for that.”

              “Go figure,” Stan muttered under his breath.  “Whether I’ve got feathers or not, he won’t leave me alone.”

              Feathers?  As the darkness of night rapidly faded away, Ford abruptly realized that Stan’s hair hadn’t just been reflecting the light of the full moon.

              “Why is your hair white?” he asked numbly.  Stan threw his hands up in the air.

              “Why do you always wanna study me?” Stan retorted.  Ford frowned.

              “I don’t know what you-” he started.  Stan turned away and stomped towards the pond.  “You can’t just-” Ford began, following.  The sun peeked above the horizon.  There was a flash of light.  Stan was gone.

              And in his place was the swan, swimming far out into the pond, beyond Ford’s reach.

"Are you sure about this?”

Thinking back to when he had first asked you that, you understood the hesitation that you felt as he hovered over you. His eyes were dark and lustful as his gaze roomed over your body. You kept your eyes on his face as he did so, watching how his tongue darted out to wet his already swollen lips as your arms wrapped snugly around his neck before your fingers curled into his blonde hair. You were definitely sure about this. Yet, there was still a seed of hesitation that coursed through your veins as his warm, thick fingers caressed your naked body. He felt wonderful against you, his hips moving slowly against yours while his lips left delicious marks against your skin. He was extremely gentle and caring, making sure not to nibble too rough against your neck or pull against your lips more than you preferred. The longer you laid entrapped in his hold the thicker the tension between the two of you grew. You knew that you wanted this.

You knew that you wanted him. You knew that you wanted Fili to be the one to hold you that night and make you feel things that you had never imagined before. You wanted to feel his body press against your own, nothing in between. But your hesitation didn’t come from your lack of love for him or lack of want. It came, rather, from your lack of experience. You had never been this intimate before with any man or any dwarf, and you were extremely embarrassed to have explain that to Fili. During the entirety of your relationship, neither one of you had ever brought up the topic of sex. You body grew hot under his as another bout of embarrassment ran through you, and it wasn’t long until Fili was able to coax a small explanation from you. His eyes softened and he was gentle when he pulled his body away from yours, his hands cupping your jaw before pressing his forehead to yours. “We don’t have too, not if you’re not comfortable yet.” Is what he had told you.

When you saw the sincerity and the compassion that danced around his blue eyes in the firelight you felt a sudden tug in your gut. This was a different feeling from the lust and desire that you had both felt that night. It something more pure and gentle, yet it grew into a strong feeling of love as he held you gently, arms wrapped around your body as you cuddled into his chest. You realized then what you truly wanted. You wanted him and nothing but him. The feeling in your gut continued to nag at you until you gave in, and this time you were the one to initiate another fierce and passionate kiss. Soon after you explained how you felt, your fingers winding deep in his blonde locks as you pulled him closer. You had never felt this comfortable or willing with anyone before, and you shared that with Fili before he returned you to your original position; trapped between his firm body and the pillowy mattress as his lips molded with yours. He asked you again, making sure that you were okay and comfortable as the desire and want continued to grow between the two of you, and you never once regretted saying yes to him, especially with how he treated you and made you feel that night.

Your night was filled with such pleasure, you were sure that your body would be tingling for days after. As before and as he had always been with you, Fili was tender and caring with your body as the two of you finally gave yourselves to one another. His hands held you sweetly and his lips tasted so addictive, it was hard to pull away from him. It was easy for the two of you to fall into a wonderful rhythm, your hips rocking together and your bodies molding together in a way you didn’t know was possible for two people. As your night came to a close and as the both of you rode out your highs Fili made sure that you were well-taken care of and that you were comfortable. He was gentle as he cleaned away the sweat and stickiness that lined your body, and it wasn’t long after Fili had cleaned you up and placed one of his tunics over your body did he announce he would do the same for himself. After pressing a tender kiss to your flushed cheeks and making sure that you were comfortable did he finally turn.

He tried not to waste much time in getting ready for bed, as even though he had spent most of his night with you already, he still longed to lie by your side. But upon returning he couldn’t help but chuckle when he saw you sound asleep. It wasn’t surprising to him though. You were exhausted. As Fili made his way back to the bed he couldn’t help but feel a small bout of pride swell in his chest as he looked between the small smile on your lips to the already darkening marks that littered your sensitive skin. His arms circled your waist after he crawled into bed next to you, and as he pulled you close again you immediately cuddled into the warmth of his body. Fili smiled down to you before pressing a kiss against your hairline. He couldn’t have asked for anything else; having you by his side, for the love of his life was all he ever needed.

The next morning you weren’t expecting your body to hurt was much as it did. Your legs ached and it felt as if your spine was ready to collapse, especially when you first tried sitting up later on. It was Fíli that had woken up first. The sun was bright as it sparkled through the window and cast a warm glow over your tangled bodies. As he had fallen asleep last night, his arms were still snug around your waist yet instead of being tucked into his side you were now flush against his front. His knees were tucked behind yours under the warm sheets as you laid soundly against him. Your hair seemed to glow as flowed against the soft coverings of his pillows, and it wasn’t long before Fíli found himself brushing his fingers through it. Though achy and quite stiff your body was warm as he held you close, and you were half tempted to shut your eyes and fall into another peaceful sleep. But duty called, and it wasn’t long before Fili tried unwrapping himself from you so he could get ready for the day. You were quick to spin around and catch him by the wrist as he went to stand.
