LMK fic au idea
Welp im not good writing fic and my ideas are riots
@quitealotofsodapop and I made an au about the Monkey King's children: Paramita, Sun Luzhen, Yuebei Xing, Jidu and Luohou.
This happens once Wukong finishes his journey and returns home, helping with the reconstruction of the island, mainly because he starts to feel lonely especially for what happened with his partner Macaque. And one of the things he always wanted once the war was over is to be able to have a family with his beloved but this couldn't happen so he will do it with his own hands in the style of Nuwa, he would create clay eggs and even find a hidden one and from there his children would be born.
Paramita is the firstborn and heir to the throne of the kingdom of the mountain of fruits and flowers and Alolai being the serious of all his brothers and the most elegant of them, he has an elegance that his father lacks but that will not make him less lethal on the battlefield; he is the general of the kingdom's army and has on his shoulders the expectations of the kingdom as crown prince.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Sun Luzhen in his canon is Wukong's twin brother who had taken so long to hatch, and the second to be born when he was found, the king had adopted him as his own son, He has an energetic personality like a showman, He is now a version of Porty light, he is a professional musician and has worked in various musical genres, even in large industries making soundtracks for various movies or video games under an alias.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Yuebei Xing, the only daughter of the monkey king, is daddy's little princess, with a tough character and a very bad temper, with an enormous and muscular build that makes her completely intimidating, but under the dark shell she is a monkey who loves her family and her brothers, she was born with a cleft lip of which she only has a scar, she is a renowned paleontologist in her field who loves her job, she has always loved digging up bones since she was little.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Jidu and Luohou they are mischievous twins who like to cause trouble like their older brother Luzhen, who love theater like Macaque and dedicate their life to that art. Jidu is a comedian in various stand-up comedy shows while Luohou is an actor in musicals and has participated in many.
Jidu
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Grande Caeza de pichi
Luohou
Tumblr media Tumblr media
King Paramita, Jidu and Luohou desing based in @wuzhiqi-enj0yer
Wukong wanted to experience the possibility of having children by modeling in clay that he created 4 eggs, by the time he found the stone egg of Luzhen he found that the Paramita egg had already hatched and in time only the eggs of the others would hatch turning Wukong into a tired father of 5 energetic children.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Rumors of his existence abounded, especially the fact that Paramita was the son of Princess Iron Fan, which was never lacking (Paramita could never find the author of that aberration in the book and if he had, he would have pulverized it). This rumor was born because he and Red Son WERE childhood friends and a possible marriage union between them was expected (Like Odette and Derek in The Swan Princess). Now their parents wanted them to marry for love like they did, but then the thing at the mountain happened and they lost contact.
Paramita as a cub: "This is my best friend Red. When we grow up, we'll get married and have an island to ourselves!" :3
But that is if the day they meet again they shout with joy and hug each other like little kids who haven't seen each other all summer.
The rumors of the monkey king's children grew to be illustrated in the non-canonical sequels of the journey to the west and at that time they were just children, but due to the isolation of the monkey king the rumors of them became a myth until their existence was doubted, making the shadow of his father grow…
MK would meet the children of the monkey king in ''A hero is born'' is when he lands on the beach of Huaguoshan Island and they were the monkeys in disguise (Headcanon the common monkeys are glamours of yao monkeys)
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Making them lose their glamour and scare MK even more until Paramita has to take control of the situation by lining everyone up.
After the initial scare MK asks them to take him to the monkey king and leave them alone; Now you might be wondering why the monkey king would need a successor? Simple, because Wukong has empty nest syndrome.
For the events of season two Paramita and his brothers will be in charge of MK's training so he wouldn't be so far behind and if they would be aware of LBD.
When MKang finds out about their existence it will be at the end of this same season especially when Pigsy is yelling at Wukong and oh boy, if there is something that Paramita does NOT tolerate at all is that HIS FATHER IS INSULTED (He's a daddy's boy)
Tumblr media
Pigsy: You're supposed to be his mentor! Paramita: "Excusr me!? He raised five children as a single parent!" HE IS ANYTHING BUT A LAZY MAN WHO DOES NOTHING, DAMN SERVANT!!!
Paramita was millimeters away from beating Pigsy up, he will defend his father's honor knowing how introverted he is and will let that insult pass (He will fight even in mud to prove his point), his brothers would be pulling him to avoid the chef's announced death, even Yuebei has a hard time doing it being the strongest of all her brothers.
Tumblr media
And that would be all c:
EDIT: And now the au called ''Wuxing au''

Funfact! Spicy isn't actually a flavor, we don't taste spicy, capsaicin the chemical that causes it to be spicy, actually activates heat receptors so we don't taste spicy we feel it! If Stone Monkeys are the same then Yuebei must be a real dare devil as a little cub
Referencing some silliness in the notes here.
Tumblr media
true! This also includes piperine (found in peppercorns) and allyl isothiocyanate (wasabi, radish & mustard). Your brain basically goes "tf? why is there a tiny fire in my mouth?". A similar sensation occurs in the opposite direction with menthol (mint) where your body is convinced that you just ate snow.
Wukong especially dislikes hot and/or spicy foods due to trauma from being fed molten metal under the mountain. No spicy foods in his house unless there's expressed warning.
Macaque doesn't get what the big deal is at first - it's just seasoning?? Until he accidentally grabs a handful of Mei's wasabi chips and regrets it as he tries quenching the fire with milk.
MK I feel like has a love/hate relationship with spicy food. It's SO GOOD under the perfect circumstances, but so painful! Powers through Red Son's cooking just to be a good guest. DBK walks in moments later with plain BBQ dishes for the monkeys wondering wtf is the little thief doing?
Little stone monkeys like Rumble & Savage, and Luzhen do not care for spicy food either. Little kids don't have that tolerance anyway. Minty things might get a pass if there's ice cream or sweets involved.
Stone Monkeys (along with most unaccustomed animals) in general do not seem to like these confusing sensations.
Except little Yuebei Xing; who deliberately seems to seek these flavours out. In the Slow Boiled au she even tries absorbing the Samadhi Fire but taps out cus it was too spicy. In multiple others she straight up absorbs/eats LBD's soul - very cold. Her parents are very confused, especially since her little brothers Jidu and Luohuo have very normal reactions to spicy things (disgust).

LMKtober Day 5: King
Summary: The crew must descend into the plane of Chaos. Macaque and Wukong are separated- unfortunately, it seems in the past cycles, there was no friendship between Sun Wukong and the Six-Eared Macaque. Only the king, his children, and an enemy.
Maybe he should've listened more to the talk of cycles and stuff.
Macaque dodged a strike from the staff and descended into the shadows of this strange otherworld. He spread his ears and tried to calm his racing heart, his old hearing finally perking to life for the first time since the Lady Bone Demon had pulled him from the grave.
However, his hearing was dull. Muffled. He didn't try to listen to the future- he was too scared to. He couldn't hear Xiaotian or the others.
He could, however, hear the cackle of his pursuers.
"Come on out, you old cannibal!"
"Out! Come out!"
It was just the boys. Sun Wukong, or at least the version chasing him, and the girl were silent. That alone made his nerves ache. Wukong was never quiet in battle.
He pressed himself against the rock at the sound of footsteps against gravel or whatever the floor of this otherworld was made of. "Come on out..." one of the boys cooed. The mist briefly parted, revealing his black and crimson fur. He turned his head, revealing two golden eyes.
Jidu, then. Luohou had three, the extra one resembling Erlang Shen's to an odd degree.
Jidu stood there, long enough that Macaque's curiosity began to perk. What was he doing? He tested out his hearing- it was just him there. Where were the others?
Macaque couldn't wait.
He rose to his feet slowly, keeping his breathing even. He couldn't wait until one of the others met their brother or child- he needed to get far and find Xiaotian. Hopefully, he could calm-
Snap.
He winced and looked down.
A fucking branch met his eyes.
There was a delighted giggle from behind him. He turned as Jidu took in a deep breath.
"BABA! JIEJIE! I FOUND HIM!"
Something snapped and the mist pulled away, all except for a cloud. Macaque craned his head back and stared right into the empty, uncaring red eyes. Around Wukong were his lost children, Jidu burrowing into the side of Yuebei, but Macaque's eyes were locked on the tallest figure.
Oh, yeah. That's a king.

Sketches of Shadowpeach family wearing Super Mario theme Halloween costumes. I have no idea if I'll ever properly finish this but I at least wanted to post the sketch. Yuebei got to be Rosalina while twins get to be the plumber bros. Luohou was fine being Luigi since they both start with L but Jidu demanded his hat get a J instead of a M.
Macaque and Wukong get to be Bowser and Peach. And yes Mac is singing Peaches. It makes the kids happy and embarrasses Wukong. Honestly Wukong doesn't mind dressing as Princess Peach, he actually likes is. He's more mortified by Mac breaking out into song in front of everyone.

What do Yuebei Xing and her brothers look like exactly?
We don’t ever get a formal description of Jidu or Louhuo, they are just mentioned but sadly never seen nor referenced. So the best I can say is probs like Wukong. At least we know they are not similar to their sister but considered we have no information if they even have a mother or what species their mother could be, it is hard to say what they would definitively look like.
Yuebei we do get a bit more description.
"Monkey King had a daughter named Yuebei Xing. She had a crooked head with large eyes and a broad mouth, a wide waist, thick hands, and long feet with thunderous footsteps. Every time, she would utterly defeat her enemies. Yuebei Xing stepped forth, "I'm going too." "You were so ugly," the little Suns roared with laughter, "You will become a laughingstock in front of Huaguang.""
While this is descriptive it still somehow avoids whether she even looks like a monkey or not. And it does stay away from the art we have of Yuebei Xing from other media where she is not related to Sun Wukong.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
I would say not to take these images to heart as these are Yuebei Xing in other media where she is not Sun Wukong's daughter and thus he has no influence on her looks. Personally I belive they would at least look a lil bit like monkeys all things considered but that is more my personal take.

been thinking about making a jttw / lmk au with the greater monkie king lore in mind and. my concepts are cooking a tad (not too well, mind you. still working on it!)
au unnamed for now but idk!!** love the ideas i have for this already
Sun Luzhen, while technically his twin, is considered Wukong's eldest son due to his upbringing. while his king goes and fights battle after battle for heaven, he stays and helps the mountain and it's citizens. Absconded the position of heir upon the construction of their grand palace, wanting to aid in it's plaining and upkeep fully. He's excitable and full of creativity, but has a soft spot for routine work like chores or cleaning. The perfect choice to head the construction of such a huge project.
his second eldest, Pāramitā, absconds his position as an heir immediately upon coming of age. he is the son of Macaque and Wukong, with his egg carried by Macaque during the brotherhood's early stages. he's whisked off by the four highest ranking FFM militants (marshals Ma and Li, generals Beng and Ba) to be raised on home territory while the couple campaign for more territory and a higher place among courts. Pāramitā mainly supports the military and is mostly a diplomat among other courts, even if the number of courts wishing to associate with his family's kingdom dwindled as the years passed. He tries his best, though, and never lost that streak of vibrant ferocity that he'd started his position with.
Yuebei Xing and Qi Xiaotian are twins in technicality alone, mirroring their father and uncle's conditions. their stone eggs carried by Wukong during the defeat of the brotherhood, they faced a lot of difficulty. Yuebei Xing is the strongest of the two at first, hatching first and being handed off to FFM to deal with and raise. however, Xiaotian's egg doesn't hatch immediately. it becomes a concern when the actual JTTW begins and Wukong has to go, and the celestials have a new issue to deal with.
Ne Zha actually spirits Xiaotian's stone egg away for Nüwa to aid, and she decides to keep it in a stasis of sorts, hoping for it to become a vital piece later on. it pays off, technically. Yuebei doesn't know of her brother's existence until wayyyy later, when Xiaotian (MK) visits FFM for the first time. Yuebei doesn't actually want the throne, if her father ever lets it get away from him, so she spends her time doing more important things, like help her brother make relationships with demon family courts. (And if someone says that she has a secret lover, they'd be lying, of course.)
Jidu and Luohou are twins, but in actuality this time. Macaque carries their eggs and allows them to hatch in secret, away from Wukong just before the Journey starts. they and Yuebei are raised as triplets because of this, and when Wukong finds out that he actually has another set of children withOUT HIS KNOWLEDGE, he is furious. That's an issue for another day, though.
that leaves five of the six Wukong children alive at the end of the JTTW, and they all play their role within the kingdom well, until rumors of a strange energy signal begins to taint the lower courts, those among mortals, and Wukong just has to go see what's up. He was just so bored, after all.
When he sees Xiaotian again for the first time, through a mortal disguise, he almost cries. The magical energy that surrounds Xiaotian looks so similar to Yuebei's, and he almost considers marching down to ask if she'd had an illegitimate son when he wasn't looking.
Tumblr media
heres a sketch of all six of the kids! i may polish this up in the future with all their outfits and such, alongside their actual color palettes and a side-by-side with their parents! maybe!
(edit, the cleaned up version can be found here!)
some notes i made when sketching these darling creatures out:
Yuebei can only hear the present and past in her four ears, while Xiaotian can hear the present and future in his four ears (hidden by the bandana) and together they can hear one full timeline!
Luohou can hear all three tenses, but their left ears are deaf after being forced into the Scroll of Memories by Azure Lion. It gets better and easier to deal with, but their hearing is permanently damaged from hearing all the pasts, presents, and futures of those within the Scroll alongside them.
Luzen gets mistaken the most for Wukong, followed by Pāramitā.
Pāramitā is exhausted from trying to keep the diplomatic ties together. Upon the invention of modern energy drinks, he drinks them constantly.
thats all i have for this project thus far, currently working on a real name and more major changes for this au, so send in any asks if you want clarification on anything because i will answer any and all questions regarding this au!
**its been named! the Sun Kingdom AU!

So @journey-to-the-au showed us WuKong and Willow babies and called him broody.
My only thought was broody chicken, and this was made. This is not meant to be taken seriously. XD it just popped in my head, and I couldn't do anything until I drew it.
I hope you enjoy chicken WuKong keeping his babies "warm." I apologize for my brain for this XD.

I used a meme of @iamaleximusprime character voices For my versions of Wukong's children and Liu Chenxiang, I tried to draw them as if they appeared in the series, I hope I got it right.
Paramita and Luzhen's voices were the first ones I knew for sure what their voices would be like. The Lunar Node Triplets' voices are the ones I was looking for how they would sound and the easiest of them was Yuebei's. The one that cost me the most to find a possible voice for Chenxiang but at least I managed to get a definitive one.
It took me… 5 days? or more to do all this…

Sabemos que Wukong es un padre vergonzoso que ama mucho a sus hijos y esta demaciado orgulloso de sus muchachos y en lo que han logrado.
Wukong, very proud: "Ah! My sun, moon, and stars! My heavens! My Wuxings!" All the cubs are very embarassed
translated via google;
"We know that Wukong is a shameless father who loves his children very much and is very proud of his boys and what they have accomplished.
Wukong, very proud: "Ah! My sun, moon, and stars! My heavens! My Wuxings!" All the cubs are very embarrassed
There's a reason he usually calls his 5 Cubs Wuxings because his children are his world.
So when they meet MKgang in season 1 they usually talk about Sun Wukong and ''Dad'' separately, mainly to see if any of them realize that they are the king's sons (Mainly to be shitty with them… after all they are the monkey king's sons)
Yuebei: Baba is always embarrassing us… Looks away Jidu: The king likes to interact with the puppies
Now the three adults would be a little suspicious of this, they don't know what to look for exactly but they feel something suspicious about them, the first clue is that they never refer to Sun Wukong as ''Grandpa Sun'' which is how all the yao monkeys usually call him.
Another main one is Paramita's princely attitude, something unusual coming from a rural town outside of Megapolis (It's just Paramita's personality…)
Now Tang is a complete purist of the original work, he would never believe the existence of the monkey king's children, he would think that they are simple OCs.
I imagine that Jidu, Luohou or Luzhen would ask the scholar about these sequels by chance.
Tang: These sequels have so many inconsistencies!! They're not even written by the author! Since when did Wukong have children??! MK and the other monkeys: Yesssss when…??
Only to fall flat on his face when the truth is revealed… The princes will never let us forget.
One thing to remember is that records are not usually made by the same person and are not usually true to reality. The only thing that is certain about the files on the Monkey King's children in the sequels is that they really are the Monkey King's children! It's just that there is no mother as such (Let's not talk about the rumor that PIF and Wukong had something please…)"
--
Hehehe!!! More talk about the "Wuxing Au"!
Wukong is very proud of his cubs, and also very embarrassing!! He calls them every pet name under the sun - particularly "Wuxing" since he sees his five cubs as important as the five core elements of the universe.
MK already knows who the five monkeys' "baba" is, but he doesn't want to reveal their secret identities to the rest of the gang without their permission.
The siblings are convinced that it would be the twins or Luzhen who "break character" first - only for it to be cool-headed Paramita, furiously defending his baba's honour when Pigsy bad-mouths him during S2.
Though in the meantime they love tormenting Mr Tang with questions about the non-canonical sequel books to Jttw. >:3
Paramita is a bit too quick to agree with Mr Tang that the rumoured affair between Sun Wukong and Princess Iron Fan was; "Completely impossible." - but he covers up his anger by saying that he really doesn't like the ship (like he's speaking about a fanfiction). The eldest cub knows how his Baba made him on his own from clay. XD
And although the sequels weren't entirely accurate - different writers from different eras and locations putting together detail they'd heard - They do get the names of Wukong's five children correct!

Headcanons for Sun Children
I have ideas now that the cycles have been presented.
Nobody is sure where they came from, Wukong just had them one day.
Yuebei Xing is the eldest and is Wukong's heir. None of them expect Wukong to pass for a good long while, but it's better safe than sorry.
Jidu and Luohou are twins, excluding the fact that Luohou has a third eye- idea stolen from this fic series. I actually imagine Rumble and Savage's designs being used for them.
Yuebei looks like Wukong- at least, how he looked in that cycle
She's actually taller and more muscular, but she likes to glamor when not in battle because people bother her constantly about not being as pretty.
For quite a few cycles, they were a constant in Wukong's life, providing him with a source of companionship alongside the generals and marshals when the pilgrims passed.
Yuebei's skull in most cycles is actually the Six-Eared Macaque's skull. In other cycles, it's the skull of the Demon King of Confusion.
Red Son is the eldest, but Yuebei was in charge when it came to playtime
All three were removed from the cycles at once, cast in the strange otherworld of Chaos, doomed to be forgotten by their father and family. Thankfully, all three have each other to stay sane.
After the pillar, Wukong has started feeling like he's forgotten someone or someones important.
An idea suggested by @draw-of-the-moon: sometimes, before and after the pillar, Wukong will fold three extra monkeys when creating origami. He assumed at least one was for Macaque, but that didn't feel right.
There is something in chaos. He calls himself Pangu
He was delighted when he met the siblings, referring to them as his grandchildren
Yuebei and the twins are unsure of what's going on, but something feels off with "Pangu" and they're forced to constantly entertain him whenever he pops by
Hopefully they can figure a way out before he shows his hand

It's none of your business
*attempt number one*
Huáguāng: So, how are you and your uncle on speaking terms anyway?
Chénxiāng: Stuff happened and after talking to him for the first time in 1300 years, I decided to follow grandpa's advice and give him one last chance at being a better uncle.
Huáguāng: What happened?
Chénxiāng: *scowls* None o' yer fuckin' business!
*attempt number two*
Huáguāng: True Monarch, what happened that made your nephew reach out to you?
Èrláng Shén: *crushes his mug and slowly turns around*
Huáguāng: Uh-oh. O_o
Èrláng Shén: *darkly* That's private and even if it wasn't, it's none of your business. Now scram, lest I become the only three-eyed god here again.
*attempt number three*
Huáguāng: Hey, what happened that made Chénxiāng reach out to his hated uncle?
Buddha Victorious in Strife: *coolly* That's between them and none of your business, boy.
*attempt number four*
Huágung: Hey, do you two know how-
Qídōu: Fuck off, this is a family matter and you ain't family!
Luóhóu: Yeah, mind your own fucking business!
*attempt number five*
Huáguāng: Hey, Lotus Prince, would you tell me what happened that made your cousin reach out to-?
Nézhā: No and if you ask me that again, I'll rip off your balls. It's none of your business. -_-
*the last attempt*
Yuèbèi Xīng: No, I will not tell you what happened that caused Gēgē to reconcile with Jìfù. Seriously, stop asking everyone about that, it's none of your business!
Huáguāng: OH, COME ON! WHY DOES NO ONE WANT TO TELL ME?!?
Yuèbèi Xīng: *suddenly has a rock guitar and sun glasses and starts singing* 🎶'CAUSE IT'S NONE OF YOUR BUSINESS~🎶
Huáguāng: Wha-
Nézhā: *bursts in with a back-up guitar* 🎶IT'S NONE OF YOUR BUSINESS~🎶
Huáguāng: What the-?
Qídōu & Luóhóu as back-up vocals: 🎶OOOH BABY, FUCK OFF, 'CAUSE IT'S NONE OF YOUR BUSINESS~🎶
Huáguāng: What is happening?!
Buddha of Sandalwood Merit: *suddenly appears out of nowhere playing the bass* 🎶YOU GOTTA STOP LYIN', YOU GOTTA STOP PRYIN'~🎶
Huáguāng: Where did he come from?!?
Buddha Victorious in Strife: *rocking the synthesizer* 🎶YOU GOTTA STOP CRYIN', JUST MIND YOUR OWN BUSINESS~🎶
Huáguāng: Why is everybody singing?!
Èrláng Shén: *appears in a ball of flames and slays the violin* 🎶YOU KEEP SNOOPIN' ABOUT, YOU FUCK AROUND AND FIND OUT~🎶
Chénxiāng: *suddenly plays a set of drums* 🎶YOU GOTTA BACK OFF, OH BOY, CAN'T YOU SEE~🎶
*suddenly the entire rest of Yuèbèi Xīng's extended family appears and performs a godsdamn musical number, just to tell Huáguāng to mind his own business*
Huáguāng: *sobbing* WHAT THE FUCK?!?
