-Monooto represents a genuine encounter with objects. The whispers of countless items draw us into an unfamiliar realm, directing our ears toward the shadows where they reside. This is the emerging music genre known as “monooto”.

-Interestingly, the Japanese term “mono” (もの), meaning “thing” or “object,” carries a subtle eeriness. According to the Nihon Kokugo Daijiten, “mono” can also denote deities, spirits, or objects of fear and reverence, including ghosts and vengeful spirits. Terms like "mononoke" (vengeful spirit or monster) reflect this notion of “mono” as entities that transcend our understanding.

-monootoとは、物との真の遭遇である。 無数の物どものざわめき。未知の空間へとわたしたちを引きずり込み、物どもが潜む闇のほうへとわたしたちの耳を向けなおさせるサウンド。それが、現在生まれつつある音楽ジャンルmonootoだ。

-ところで、「もの」という和語には、漠然とした不気味さがまとわりつく。『日本国語大辞典』によれば、「もの」には「神仏、妖怪、怨霊など、恐怖・畏怖の対象」という意味がある。「もののけ」といった言葉もある。わたしたちは、理解を越えた不気味な存在を「もの」と呼ぶわけだ。

Annunciato l’adattamento live action di “Back Street Girls”

Il film debutterà nelle sale giapponesi l’8 febbraio 2019.

Annunciata da Toei la produzione di un film live action basato suil manga “Back Street Girls” di Jasmine Gyuh. La pellicola si intitolerà “Back Street Girls: Gokudols” (Back Street Girls: Yakuza Idols) e debutterà nei cinema giapponesi l’8 febbraio 2019.

Il progetto sarà diretto da Keinosuke Hara, seguendo la sceneggiatura adattata da Shoichiro Masumoto e Hidehiro Ito.

I membri del cast confermati sono: Jin Shirasu; Reiya Masaki; Masato Hanazawa; Natsumi Okamoto; Ruka Matsuda; Akane Sakanoue; Tetsuya Sugaya; Nana Asakawa; Hitoshi Ozawa; Dori Sakurada; Ren Osugi e Koichi Iwaki.

La storia segue le peripezie di tre scagnozzi della yakuza, costretti a cambiare sesso e a guadagnare soldi per conto del boss, formando il trio di idol conosciuto come Gokudolls.

Il manga conclusosi quest’anno con l’11° volume, ha già ispirato una serie animata di 10 episodi, diretta da Chiaki Kon (Golden Time, Junjou Romantica) e sceneggiata da Susumu Yamakawa presso lo studio J.C.Staff. L’anime sbarcherà su Netflix Italia il 12 dicembre 2018.

I have been wanting to rip this since forever but I have been busy as hell so here’s a small scene from it :)

I will be honest and admit I didn’t expect much from Piko’s acting (even though he’s 100% the reason I bought this xDDD). I mean, he is the cutest guy I have ever seen but I wasn’t sure if he’s as good at expressing himself when acting as he is when singing xDD But he turned out unexpectedly good!! This scene is one of the moments when I was like “Oh he sure can act”. I’m so proud of him <3

This is the part after Parn was hurt after a fight with the goblins and Etoh was going all worried about him etc. xDD I cannot catch everything so I will not be able to provide a proper translation for this. But if anyone can help me with translating the content, I would really really really appreciate it :)
