Documentary about the rich growing subculture of hip-hop that was developing in New York City in the late '70s and early '80s, specifically focusing on graffiti art and breakdancing.

It's difficult for me to label simple tagging as art. But the documentary shows that more than forty years ago it could be seen as an act of self-expression and rebellion.

In general, I'm pleasantly surprised to see that such an old doc with historical, original footage about breakdancing and spraying exists.
