Tedros was just a bad knockoff Shein version of “Stuntman Mike” from Death Proof:

The Mysterious Guy™ that is creepy, kind of unsettling, and is basically a WHOLE ASS walking red flag— but is weirdly charming in a way that disarms the audience and allows the main characters to overlook said obvious red flags without looking like complete idiots....

All except Stuntman Mike was actually, y'know... Convincing? And actually charming? Well written?
