I watched Kill Bill Vol 1 and 2 last night....

All of the assassins make me feel things. But that's not the point of this ask. Idk if you've seen these movies (you really should if you haven't! They're so good! Albeit pretty gory and deal some pretty dark subjects), but Elle Driver, AKA The California Mountain Snake, in particular...

1. I feel like she'd be your type. She's got plenty of sneers in this movie, she's cruel and evil, had no empathy for Beatrix when they were hired to kill her (I'm trying not to give too much away! But yeah, the rivalry between Elle and the protagonist is one of the biggest things going on in these films). And, despite being in love with Bill, killed his brother in cold blood just for the fact that he killed her rival (in her words, Beatrix deserved a better ending than being killed by a "bush-whackin', scrub, alkie piece of shit" like him). And then she called up Bill and said Beatrix was the one that killed him! She's a lying, possibly manipulative, murdering psycho. Out of all the villains in this movie, I think you'd like Elle and Bill most.

2. I know you've drawn Rena, and I love how she looks!! But now, after seeing this movie, I can't get this woman as Rena out of my head XD just take the eyepatch off, give her some heart tattoos... Do you think she looks like Human Rena? (Then again with the eyepatch, she could be Fem!Kingston... Omg Fem!Kingston would make Poppy swoon I just know it XD)

If you say I'll like her, I believe you XD You know my F/O's better then anyone at this point 😂😅 XD

And she does LOOK like my type!! XD Older lady, eyepatch, kinda mischievous, SNEERS!??... uhuh XD If I watch the Kill Bill movies Cruella may have competition XD

And... yes she totally looks like a Human Rena!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I've only ever drawn her young but this could absolutely be her older XD

Solas being the fucked up little shit he is, is part of the appeal. My sister and I can watch the same scenes and say "he's such a bastard! He's a lying liar who lies!"

But the difference is my sister is scowling, and I'm grinning from ear-to-ear.

i saw a solavellan-lover hater talk about how solavellans are delulu who think solas is a perfect princess angel. and like. no. we don't. we know he's a massive bastard. we just don't care. pookie. that's the thing. we love his dastardly ways. his villainous behavior. his evil deeds. it's part of a character we love because we love pain and tragedy. lmfao. delulu? we are very grounded in the reality that solas is a massive asshole. there is actually a lot of conflict among the more thoughtful solavellan-lovers about the fact that he's such an irredeemable fuckass but such a lush in love. solavellan-lovers are just Romantics with a capital R.
