Hyperrealistic Bookshelf Murals in The Netherlands
Beautifully realized murals have popped up on the streets of Utrecht, in the Netherlands.
The trompe l’oeil (visual illusion) span multiple stories of the buildings, and showcase twelve-feet-tall books leaning on shelves.
Dutch street artists Jan Is De Man and Deef Feed are responsible for the awesome murals, which transform entire buildings into something more significant. Via Colossal:
A mural in Amsterdam, quoting murdered Palestinian poet Refaat Alareer. The mural features a few of the thousands of brave doctors, journalists, aid workers, activists and children who tell the world about what is going on in Palestine, some of whom have been murdered by the fascist Israelis, and some of whom still continue to show the world the truth about the Israeli genocide and occupation.
