For just $66.00 This Red Wing pottery tea pot is the Provincial Oomph line. Wonderful rich tones of aqua green or turquoise compliment the brown glaze. Circa 1943. Perfect gift for Mom's and Dad's alike. This tea server is made of a high fire stoneware that was fired in a gas reduction kiln to cone 10. We had a lot of new glazes and I really liked the pale turquoise with the drip affect. Making smaller items gave me the opportunity to try different shaped bodies, handles and spouts. I was quite pleased with the outcome of the group of pots I made at the time and really enjoyed being able to high fire in a gas kiln. From the top of the handle this pot stands 7.5”, from the spout to where the handle attaches in the back it is 4.5” and around 3” cut across from side to side.
