Majolica lidded canister with a different veggie face painted on either side. for just $350.00 A beautiful hand made majolica style earthenware lidded canister. Great for cookies and treats or treasures. The painted arrangement of vegetables are made to look like comical faces. With okra, carrots, beans and radishes. And a lot of peas and tomatoes with some still on the vine. I get to exercise my painting skill and abilities with majolica. This is a heavy piece and is 10" high, 8" wide and 6" deep, give or take a few fractions here and there. The body of the pot and lid were thrown on the potters wheel. The body was cut from the wheel and open at the bottom, then smushed into a soft rectangle and a slab was added to close the bottom. So it is a natural shape or wabi sabi form, made very loose and non conforming. Was originally made for a benefit called "Give Them the Farm" in 2008, it wasn't sold. But in the spirit in which it was made I will donate to my local food bank 20% of this sale.

Turquoise single serve, personal teapot. Tea lovers tea server. Tea pot for tea brewing. for just $150.00 This lovely single serve. personal teapot in a lovely turquoise glaze gives a zen like quality to tea time. Great gift for Moms and Dads alike. Perfect for the tea lovers in your life. This tea server is made of a high fire stoneware that was fired in a gas reduction kiln to cone 10. We had a lot of new glazes and I really liked the pale turquoise with the drip affect. Making smaller items gave me the opportunity to try different shaped bodies, handles and spouts. I was quite pleased with the outcome of the group of pots I made at the time and really enjoyed being able to high fire in a gas kiln. From the top of the handle this pot stands 6.5”, from the spout to where the handle attaches in the back it is 4.5” and around 3.5” cut across from side to side.
