Ok so even tho I’m not one to usually sit around and meta in public, as a queer Cas!Girl I am required to talk about Castiel’s situation in 12.15.

I know that in the long run the show is gonna play Castiel going back to help Heaven as a Bad Decision™ and there are fans that are rightfully upset about the show ONCE AGAIN falling back into the same, lame Castiel being pulled between Heaven and Earth, i.e. The Winchesters, choice.

BUT from a Queer viewpoint it’s something I completely understand. Especially with the way it was framed in last night’s ep.

Though it started out feeling like the same old blah blah blah, this time Castiel wasn’t given the us or them ultimatum that he’s been given by the angels so many times in the past.

Kelvin, his brother, his family, outright told Castiel that he could help and it’d make things right with Heaven and then he’d be allowed to come and go as he pleased. 

Castiel wouldn’t have to give up his Earthly family to have his Heavenly family.

And in the end, isn’t that what all Queer people want?

To not have to chose which family you’re loyal to.

That you can have both your birth family AND your chosen family by your side.

To finally, fully be accepted and loved for who you are.

And I know it’s too much to ask for because I know the whole thing’s gonna end in heartbreak because that’s what this damn show is about but ughhhhhh I just want Castiel at peace and happy and surrounded by ALL his family for once.

Stiney’s awkward Ackles autograph session; or, how I possibly, probably Cockles blocked Jensen at JaxCon.

The night before JaxCon, the AMAZING @casisanidjit gave me the Jensen auto off her Silver pass and @wut-u-talkin-bout-willis the Jared auto.

SOOOOOO we go about an AMAZING con, THENNNNNNN Sunday night comes and I’m hella EXCITED. @wut-u-talkin-bout-willis got in line for Jared’s auto first bcuz I had my Castiel op at the beginning of autos.

WELLLLLL I come back downstairs and Jared’s line is taking FOREVERRRRRR but there’s still people in Jensen’s line so I’m just chilling with @keylimedean and another friend waiting to get my MoC!Dean autographed.

@wut-u-talkin-bout-willis gets done with her Jared auto just as Jensen’s line is thinning out pretty damn much. I grab the pass and run for the other side where Jensen was signing... only to be met with Creation employees who were looking at me like O_o.

I tell them that I got an auto and they’re like “Ummmmm Jensen is GONE.” And I’m fucking HEARTBROKEN. But I’m not the only one. There’s two other people that are like WHAT!?!?

A Creation employee takes my Funko and freaking rushes outta the theater as the other two people are talking to Connie from Creation.

I go and sit back with @wut-u-talkin-bout-willis and @keylimedean and make sad faces bcuz Jensen bolted from autos so fast probably bcuz he had an earlier flight to catch than Jared who was still signing, AND signed for probably another 30 minutes.

Probably 20 minutes goes by and the Creations chick comes back into the theater clutching my my Funko.

I go over to her and she hands me the Funko and says, “Ahhhhhhh it was like herding cats, but I got it!

At which point I see the signature on the Funko.

The signature was HELLA sloppy and for a minute I thought it maybe wasn’t his until I looked online and figured he was rushed bcuz of his flight.

At which point I was happy that I even got an autograph and me and my friends go to dinner.

CUT TO YESTERDAY NIGHT WHEN THIS FUCKING PHOTO EMERGED!!
