How come no one talks about Stevie rachelle from Tuff?
Also he looks like he could be Bret Michaels long lost cousin
I feel like there are a lot of people that no one talks about and should. There are so many bands that are similar to other bands that people love that get no love. (Part of the reason I started the #<500K spotify posting series I've been doing. There are SOOO Many 80s-90s bands on there that no one seems to know that I adore)
And He looks like Bret Michaels and C.C. Knix blended together.

REVIEW: Tuff - What Comes Around Goes Around (1991)
TUFF – What Comes Around Goes Around (1991 Atlantic)
This is going to be a little different for my style of review. I’m not going in deep, researching the players, the singles, the writers and the releases. This time I’m just listening to the songs and spitting out my words. You’ll see why.

Bret Michaels and Stevie Rachelle look like they can be a music duo

Transfem, genderqueer, nonbinary, genderfluid whatever brand of not-cis you're assigning Steve they gotta transition in the 80s so their preppy ass can get a chance to really enjoy everything going on fashionwise in the 90s and early 00's

Who I Think Rachel Elizabeth Dare is Listening to (EXTREMELY BIASED EDITION)
Regina Spektor (fellow new-yorker, matches her twee vibe, extremely heavy on this)
Fiona Apple (She’s just a girl)
Kate Bush (She has that 70s/80s vibe about her)
Fleetwood Mac/Stevie Nicks (same reason as above)
Franz Ferdinand (Twee)
Belle & Sebastian (TWEE TO THE MAXX)
Pulp (Sneak, but I don’t gaf)
The Cranberries (Also sneak, but I got to represent the motherland)
Florence + the Machine (Serving Manic-Pixie-Dream-Girl realness, also ginger)
Sufjan Stevens (IDK she’s chill like that)
Mazzy Star (Because I know she collects crystals)
Katy Perry (Guilty pleasure)
Like i said this is extreamly biased and mainly full of my favorite artists, But me and Rachel are basically the same person so it’s all good!

Rock Daydream Nation: The Rise and Fall of Hair Metal - Tuff's Debut Album Reviewed!
Hot on the heels of the fallout from our Decline of Western Civilization Part II: The Metal Years critique, I was invited back on Peter Kerr’s Rock Daydream Nation along with John Clauser and Steve Deluxe, to review the debut album by Tuff. I’d never heard What Comes Around Goes Around before, so it was a little “tuff” for me to get up to speed with the other guys. I listened to the album…
