In S5 E15, when Steven corrects Garnet and says that Onion didn’t get taken to space when Garnet says that Onion was taken into space, Garnet replies with “Sorry, I must be thinking of an alternate timeline”

Does this mean that canonically in the Steven Universe world, there’s a timeline where instead of Lars getting taken into space and dying on Homeworld and becoming the captain of the Off-Colors, Onion is taken to space instead? And does this also mean there’s an alternate timeline where that also happens to Sadie, Jamie, and Connie?!

Rainy Night

The clock on their dresser showed 12:34 when Jamie got up, careful not to wake Kevin, who was sleeping next to him. As quietly as he could manage, Jamie padded to the kitchen. 

It had been a rough week for him. It had been raining nonstop which made Jamie's job a lot harder.

He already wasn't particularly fond of the rain, that paired with getting soaked on a daily basis, made his job miserable.

Not only that but the number of people who had yelled at him because their mail had been wet was astonishing.

Jamie sighed and took a bowl out of the cabinet and grabbed a packet of ramen.

He crushed up the noodles inside before pouring them into the bowl and adding water. Jamie put the bowl in the microwave and set it for two minutes.

He scrolled on his phone while he waited, listening to the rain pound against the windows. He jumped when the microwave beeped, their microwave always beeped obnoxiously loud.

Jamie turned to stop it and took out his bowl, adding in the flavor packet.

"You're up?" He heard Kevin ask

"Yeah" Jamie replied, setting the bowl down on the counter and taking out a fork "did I wake you?"

"Nah, the microwave did," Kevin said, sitting down next to Jamie

"Sorry" 

"It's alright" Kevin reassured, wrapping an arm around him and kissing the side of his head, "jeez, it's raining cats and dogs out there"

"Yeah..." said Jamie, looking away

"What's wrong?" Asked Kevin, concern filling his voice

"It's just been a rough week" Jamie sighed "and the rain really isn't helping"

Kevin pulled him close and kissed the top of his head again, this time gently rubbing his thumb over Jamie's cheekbone.

This caused Jamie to melt into his boyfriend's arms as he closed his eyes, letting out a sigh.

"I'm sorry babe" Kevin mumbled, running his hand through Jamie's hair and massaging circles along his back. 

"It's fine" Jamie replied, resting his forehead on Kevin's shoulder. 

"We should really go back to bed, sleep helps everything" Kevin suggested, face buried in Jamie's hair.

Jamie nodded silently

"What about my noodles?" He asked

"Alright, finish your noodles" Kevin chuckled 

Jamie laughed and finished eating, putting his bowl in the sink.

"Okay, let's go" Jamie mumbled 

"Want me to carry you?" Asked Kevin

"In your dreams" Jamie teased

The two of them walked back to the bedroom, cuddling up together under the covers.

"Love you" Kevin whispered

"Love you too, Kev" Jamie whispered back, resting his face in the crook of Kevin's neck

Early Morning Calls

Kevin was woken by his phone ringing. He groaned and turned over to pick it up, it was one of his clients.

He sighed as he picked up, it was way too early to deal with this.

A few minutes into the phone call and he was already frustrated with the client.

Kevin tried not to raise his voice, so he didn’t wake Jamie, who was asleep next to him.

Despite his efforts, he did end up yelling at the client. He knew he’d get a bad review but honestly, he was too tired to care.

“Kev?” Jamie asked, looking up blearily “what’s going on?”

“Nothing, baby,” Kevin replied, “sorry for waking you up.”

Jamie sat up and leaned against his boyfriend “why are you yelling?”

“I’m on the phone with a client,” Kevin replied, "go back to sleep, babe.”

“Why the hell are you on the phone this early in the morning?” Jamie questioned, sounding as annoyed as he looked

“hang up and go back to sleep, babe.”

“Alright, alright” Kevin replied, hanging up his phone and putting it back onto their nightstand. “Happy now?”

Jamie grinned mischievously, and pressed a kiss to Kevin’s lips “very.”

Kevin rolled his eyes but smiled and blushed. Jamie kissed him again before laying his head on Kevin’s chest and closing his eyes.

Sleep

"Hey Kev," said Jamie, turning around from his spot on the window seat, the side of his face illuminated by the glowing computer screen.

"What're you doing up? It's like 1 a.m.," mumbled Kevin, rubbing his eyes and yawning.

"I couldn't sleep; thought I'd get some work done." 

"Come back to bed, babe," Kevin whined. "It's hard to sleep without you."

"I know, but I'm in the middle of this." Jamie turned back to his laptop.

"What's so important anyway?" Asked Kevin, looking over his shoulder at the screen.

"I got a great idea for this play I'm writing," Jamie replied.

“Fine, I’m gonna make myself a coffee; you want one?” He asked, walking towards the kitchen. 

“Sure” 

Soon after, Kevin came back with two cups of coffee, handing one to his boyfriend and taking a sip of the other.

"Thanks,” smiled Jamie, setting down his computer and moving to the side while Kevin sat down next to him. Jamie reached for his laptop, but Kevin was faster, grabbing it and putting it on the floor.

"Hey!" Jamie exclaimed, crawling over and grabbing for it, though Kevin held it out of reach.

"Hmph," Jamie grumbled, sitting down between Kevin's legs and resting against his chest. The pair stayed like that for a while. Kevin closed his eyes and rested his head against Jamie's. Until Jamie eventually got his laptop back and started typing again.

"You know I know your typing, right?" Kevin said quietly, nuzzling into Jamie's hair.

"And you know I'm not going anywhere," said Jamie, leaning up to kiss him. Kevin murmured something before wrapping his arms around his boyfriend and closing his eyes. Jamie yawned and moved closer.

"The coffee must be wearing off," Kevin laughed.

"Yeah," Jamie yawned and closed his computer.

"Alright, come on," Kevin said, standing and pulling Jamie up with him.

"Wuh?" asked Jamie dazedly.

"We're going back to bed, babe," Kevin replied, kissing him on the forehead. 

"Can't walk; 'm too tired." Jamie mumbled, leaning against him.

"Then I guess I'll have to carry you," Kevin said, picking him up bridal style. Jamie, who normally would have protested, just moved closer.

"Please don't drop me," he mumbled.

"I wouldn't dream of it," Kevin replied, carrying him into the bedroom and laying him down on their bed, getting in next to him. Jamie pulled him closer and put the blanket across them.

"Night, Kev," he muttered.

"Night, Jay," Kevin replied, pressing a kiss to his forehead. "Love you."

"Love you too," Jamie mumbled, cuddling closer. The two of them fell asleep like that.

First Date

“Quit smiling at me, I keep messing up my sentences when you look at me like that!” Kevin said.

Feeling his face flush as he and Jamie walked along the streets of Empire City.

Jamie laughed and laced their fingers together

“oh really?”

“Shut up,” Kevin grumbled, looking away.

“Y’know, you’re cute when you’re like this” Jamie teased, grinning at him.

“Why am I on a date with you again?” Kevin said as he rolled his eyes.

“Because you asked me on a date?” Jamie grinned “oh, hey a bakery!”

Kevin smiled at Jamie as they crossed the street and walked into the bakery.

“What do you wanna get babe?” Kevin asked, watching as Jamie studied the menu.

“I think I’ll get a scone” Jamie replied “I’m starving.”

They walked up to the register and put in their order. As Jamie started opening his wallet Kevin spoke

“I’ll pay,” he offered.

“Oh, okay” Jamie replied, putting his wallet back in his bag.

They walked out of the bakery a few moments later, Jamie eating his scone as they walked.

“So, where do you want to go next?” Kevin asked.

“Hmm,” Jamie thought for a moment “why don’t we go see a movie?”

“Alright,” Kevin agreed. The pair walked to the nearest movie theater.

“How about this one?” Jamie suggested, pointing to a rom-com.

“Whatever you want babe” Kevin replied. Rolling his eyes, despite smiling.

Jamie felt his face turn red as they got tickets and walked into the theater.

Jamie watched the movie with rapt attention, although Kevin spent most of it looking at him.

“Y’know I know you were looking at me in there” Jamie teased as they were leaving the movie theater.

“I have no idea what you’re talking about,” Kevin replied, blushing.

Jamie chuckled and laced their fingers together “sure.”

The cold air bit at their cheeks as they stepped outside.

“Can you give me a ride home?” Jamie asked

“Sure thing, babe” Kevin replied, grinning as Jamie blushed. The two of them walked until they reached the parking lot.

“Jeez, that’s an expensive car,” Jamie remarked as he got in Kevin’s car.

“Only the best,” Kevin replied, getting in the driver's seat. Jamie chuckled to himself and got into the passenger seat.

The drive home was quiet, Jamie stared out the window, marveling at the city lights in the dusk.

Kevin occasionally snuck glances at him, hoping Jamie wouldn’t see how much he was blushing.

Kevin hated to admit that he was more than a bit disappointed when the drive ended. He walked Jamie to the door,

“Night Kev,” Jamie said, pressing a kiss to Kevin’s lips “call me later.”

After Jamie had gone inside Kevin stood on his doorstep. Flustered and in shock for a moment, feeling his face turn a shade of dark red.

He quickly got back in his car, internally celebrating.
