I thought it was Franny alone giving me brain rot, but 💛Steve has also somehow gotten in there. Hes very sweet and cares a lot! He's so damn annoying. He'd do anything to keep the people he loves safe! Bbgirl the king steve au. He sees people for their worth and doesnt takes for granted what they give him! Say your better than Franny again, I dare you. Hes an extremely capable fighter! I wish Alex was here :/
Keep up the fantastic work queen whatever you give its already in my mouth and Im running off with it
<:3c 💛Steve over all is a pretty nice guy, he just has some flaws! He is arrogant, entitled, wants the feeling of control, and dominance, yes, but narcissistic tendencies (and ofcourse, actual narcissism) doesn't make someone bad!
It only turns bad when he keeps being enabled and it isn't checked... Hence, 💛king!Steve AU! And I argue that you don't have to have narcissism to get that corrupt!
And with another flaw of 💛Steve being ignorant or unaware! he doesn't even comprehend the power imbalance between him and a villager! He set no bounderies because he doesn't know what they are!
But he is also very kind... He died for Franny, hes taking care of a village voluntarily, a family person, likes keeping his loved ones safe, and still gives his praises to people who deserves it! He knows how to have fun, be light hearted, and silly!
There is a reason why Franny loves and serves him <:3 just because he is not humble or completely selfless does not necessarily mean hes bad.
#i am quite happy with Steves writing hehe#hes a lightheartedly flawed character that can EASILY fuck up given the circumstances#not to mention hes IS actually got and have a whole village and person constantly enabling his behavior#its fun to think about how gray this can get#Steve#Minecraft yellow#i AM doing research on Narcissism so I say 'narcisistic tendancies'#but it IS demonized the same way psychopathy is so Its hard to find good sources#waugh!! who knows! if its not accurate to the disorder maybe he does not have it at all!#maybe he just has a massive ego -w-

3 ships: Steddie, Queliot, Margo/Fen
First ship ever: Oh God, that is tough. Umm...I think Serena/Darien aka Usagi/Mamoru from Sailor Moon? Maybe Belle/Beast|Prince Adam. I have had quite a few ships, and was even a hopeless romantic as a child.
Last Movie: Here's a secret, kind folks.
Come close.
Closer.
Hi! 👋 My name is Luna, and the last movie I have probably watched for me in full was probably at Christmas (Love Actually, it is a tradition, and I'm a romantic at heart.) . Most of the things I "watch" are educational videos for preschoolers (I'm a preschooler teacher), something for professional development, clips of movies, and videos that are no longer than five minutes unless I binge-watch shows over some weekends (thank you streaming services). What was the last thing I watched over five minutes for myself? Ducktales. Woo-hoo
Last song: River- Bishop Briggs
Currently reading:
Fic: Stay A Little Longer (Stay A Little Longer With Me) by literaldisneyprincess 💗💗💗
Non Fic: The GIANT Encyclopedia of Lesson Plan Ideas by Kathy Charner
Currently watching: Scream 2 (1997) All Mrs. Loomis Scenes on YouTube. This is for research for a character. No, not a psychotic mother. No no. Laurie Metcalf is one of the two who I picture when I think of Steve Harrington's mom. The other is Christine Baranski, or some crazy mash-up of the two.
Currently consuming: grande chai with soy milk. I can't properly digest lactose, and hate coffee 🤷♀️
Currently craving: Wait, is this supposed to be about food? I did crave chai earlier, and, well...☕️ Other cravings? Really soft and hot Steddie fics. My Q voice to come back to finish fics. And maybe something potato

An Australian legend believes Steve Smith can shock everyone by retiring overnight.
Test legend of Australia's cricket team Mark Waugh believes that Steve Smith, who is leading team Australia right now, can shock everyone with an overnight retirement. Smith was looking forward to scoring some big runs in the fourth test match of the series before getting dismissed by Ravindra Jadeja said in an interview that, most probably, he won't be coming to India if Team Australia tours the subcontinent in the next four years. To this statement Steve, Waugh said that he can call time on his time in cricket much earlier than expected. Read More...

Steve being Luz’s most consistently trusted guard after Hunter and also the only one on the guard who Hunter actually likes is so sweet… I love the idea that Steve and Hunter went through scout training together, and Steve already had a little brother with an inferiority complex a mile wide, so he was always really good at looking out for Hunter in ways that don’t demean or make him feel lesser.
I can picture itty bitty Luz coming up to say goodbye to Hunter and the scouts as they go on a long training mission, and Luz goes up to Steve as the most polite and nice looking guy there and is like “Can you please make sure Hunter is okay for me 🥺”
And Steve does an imperial salute before getting down on one knee to look her in the eye and promise her that Hunter’s one tough cookie, and that he’ll be okay, but if things get dicey out there he promises to have his back. And so he’s just always been one of Luz’s favorite scouts ever since.
WAUGH.
i have a handful of unanswered questions from ages and ages ago about hunter and scout training, which were mainly unanswered because i couldn't decide if hunter had been through the full training he does in canon (on account of how luz would throw a fit).
but i think he could have, if luz was still young enough for belos to spin it as, "he'll be fine, he's off having adventures :)"
....and then belos's biggest problem is just luz sulking around kicking up a fuss about how she's BORED and SHE never gets to go on adventures and a few weeks is WAAAY too long to wait for him to get back :(((
god i Love the idea of her asking steve to protect him. that's so cute oh god. baby girl..... my bebita forever.....
#sure. we can have rapidly-expanding steve lore#toh#replies#princess luz au#steve toh#horrible mindscape trauma pals

Mosaic Haiku Ch. 14 poems, Ch. 4 paintings, Ch. 1-3 drawings by EliotQueliot / @eliotqueliot
poems, watercolor paintings, and drawings || the magicians (lev grossman, syfy) || m/m || quentin coldwater/eliot waugh || general audiences || no major warnings apply || ongoing series
summary: Mosaic Haiku is a project very dear to my heart, pairing haiku with watercolors and drawings celebrating the lifetime of love that proved the key to saving all magic, shared by Eliot and Quentin at the Mosaic in The Magicians 3x05, A Life in the Day. I've added an all-new Ch. 14 (photos with the haiku on Tumblr; art to be added to the haiku on AO3 later); two new watercolor paintings for Ch. 4; and I found/reinstated some version of the drawings for Ch. 1-3 (I hadn't yet started scanning the drawings separately for those, so quality varies). Going forward, the drawings will remain visible instead of simply being replaced by the watercolor versions. So far, the art is fully complete for Ch. 1-3 and in-progress for Ch. 4 & 6. This month I'm especially pleased with the two paintings of Quentin and Eliot in their golden years (see one of the Tumblr links and the Instagram link).

do you have any thoughts to share on the aforementioned possible future stucky fic?
i always meant to write one where, after getting bucky back and rehabilitated and working with shield to take down hydra, everything between him and steve is like. very awkward. not exactly tense, not exactly troubled, but very very awkward and a little bit forced. they can’t live together, can’t really hang out even— they don’t really Get each other anymore & are more or less just coworkers with a hundred years of history. waugh!!!!
the thesis is: the narrative steve told himself about the life he and bucky led together before and during the war got more rose colored and incomplete the more times he said it (and people had him say it many times). all his halcyon days in the war were bucky’s worst memories; and the idylls of their youth were very fucking difficult and bucky-of-the-present remembers them less fondly once he starts remembering.
also, bucky gets really close to natasha and steve gets SO jealous, not because he thinks they’re fucking, but because nat is bucky’s best friend. lmao.
basically, i wanna write a version where it’s really weird for them to both be in the future together and they don’t really know how to relate until they do. and their slow slide to falling in love is very slow 🩷

It has been many a moon since I graces you with my theory building presence when it comes to your Minecraft lore and may I just say, love what you've done with the place, very spiffy. Now, to get to business.
I have a new theory/proposal. Herobrine isn't someone who works at Mojang, but instead a vessel left behind from Mojang. Before the beta branch of the game there was an empty flat world where you could build, that was the basic testing area for Minecraft. What if once it kicked off, the didn't need the testing grounds anymore and it became a more natural looking world, slowly updating over time. Herobrine was the vessel they used to test, and when they had no use for it, they never removed it. When they made Steve, he was a carbon copy of Hero which is why they are intertwined and supernaturally connected, they are cut from the same cloth. Same could be said for Alex and Alexbrine. They are godly in mature because they come from the beginning when there was no survival mode, they are/were in creative mode, able to use or, "test," commands. It could also explain why Alexbrine is so insanely glitched, she's unfinished and unpolished.
Take this all with a grain of salt, it's 6:43 am, and I've been up since 10am yesterday lol. Love the art still!!
Stopp!! /not serious
You got me giggling and keeping my feet and smiling widely GOSH DARN IT I FUCKING LOVE IT HERE THIS IS ALL SO GOOD
YOU REALLY THOUGHT OF ALL THAT... DNENDJ i fully intended for Hero and Lex to have a messy but vague past together... Similar to the Yellow 💛Players, they ended their friendship in bad blood, but beyond that, yall have no idea what happened!
Waugh... Stoppp I love it hereeee... Thank you, Theory man, for feeding me U_U

just here to say i am obsessed with The (Monster-Hunting) Shop Around the Corner and am eagerly awaiting the last chapter!! idk if you ever do lil previews, totally fine if not, but just here to beg for a little snippet in case you do!
WAUGH THANK YOU SO MUCH! I really really appreciate that! I’m sorry it’s taken longer than planned for the final chapter, work revved up in February and this month I’m focusing on my @strangerthingsreversebigbang, but THEN! UPDATE! I PROMISE! But thank you so so so much for enjoying it so far.
So such patience and kindness of course can only be rewarded with a snippet ahahaha!
……….
Steve’s ringing up a sweet mom (looking for something for her 10-year-old daughter: B*Witched was an easy sell, hiding it from Ned was not) when Eddie Munson breezes through the door. Raising what looks like two paper coffee cups in greeting, one in each hand, and grinning at Steve.
After a moment of surprise, Steve gives him a one second nod, and focuses on wrapping up the sale. Out of the corner of his eye, he tracks Eddie carefully setting the cups down and moving around the shop. “Let me know how she likes it,” Steve says to the mother as she hands her the bag and her receipt, tearing his eyes away from Eddie. With a nod and a smile, she’s out the door, and Steve rests his arms on the counter, regarding Eddie.
He’s lucky it’s just Steve in here right now; he’s apparently forgotten that this time of year your average Chicagoan usually is wrapped up in several layers, a winter coat being the most essential one of them. But Eddie seems comfortable as a September day in his charcoal gray sweater and black jeans, even pushes up the sleeves a little to expose tattooed forearms as he dives into a crate of classic metal LPs.
“Hey kid,” he calls across the store, when Eddie appears to have vanished completely into some music nerd heaven, and forgotten whyever it is he showed up here. “You gonna get your greasy mitts all over every cover, or you actually gonna buy something?”
Eddie’s head shoots up, and after a moment’s confusion his face breaks open into another grin.
“Dude, were you also a frequent shopper at The Tune Factory? Because that was a perfect Mr. Wilkins impression.”
“Where do you think I got all my Wham tapes?” Steve laughs.
“Funny we never ran into each other there,” Eddie says easily, making his way back over to the counter.
“Yeah, that’s true,” Steve says slowly, thinking that it isn’t that funny at all. He doesn’t know which would have gone over worse back then: if Steve had tried to strike up a conversation with Eddie, or if Eddie had tried the same thing with him. He figures Eddie has to know this too, but. Yeah, it’s nice to pretend that it would have been otherwise, now that they’re here.
There’s something different about Eddie today. And not just the forgotten jacket, or the break from his undertaker monochrome approach. Maybe it’s just how he leans a hand on his chin easily, smiling up at Steve.
Huh. Guess it takes seeing Eddie without that thread of stress running through him, to realize it had been there this whole time.
“So what’s a guy like you doing in a dump like this?” Eddie asks. And actually bats his lashes at Steve, which is alarmingly effective given the materials the guy is working with.
“Making minimum wage,” Steve says dryly. “You’re in a good mood.”
“Well, I had my hands full with this totally needy freeloader all last week, and I finally got my place back to myself,” Eddie says easily. “So, lots to celebrate.”
“I bet,” Steve says, cocking an eyebrow at him.
“Speaking of which,” Eddie says, looking around for where he left the cups. “How are you feeling?”
“All good,” Steve admits, pointing over at the display case currently displaying Eddie’s drinks. “Not even a sniffle. And the, uh, sting already looks smaller.” That could be because the bruising around it shaped like Eddie’s mouth has finally faded, but Steve isn’t going to say that.
Eddie grabs the cups, and comes back to the counter.
“Glad to hear it. And feeling any otherworldly urges? Any cravings for blood, or likelihood of sprouting wings?”
“Oh, y’know. No more than usual.”
Eddie rewards him for that one with a laugh. “My business here is two-fold. Okay, actually–three-fold. I did really want to see how you were doing. But also, happened to be in the area, which happens to also be the area of one of the best cocoa spots in town. And also…”
Steve snorts a laugh as Eddie slides one of the cups across the countertop, pushing it along with one finger and looking at Steve with a wide-eyed smile.
“And also… someone might have been spreading rumors around town that you’re all on your lonesome this week, for a certain celebration of American consumption and excess.”
“Someone, huh?” Steve takes the cup, wrapping both palms around it and enjoying the warmth for a second. “Whoever could it be.”
“We may never know,” Eddie says solemnly. “But I figure Wayne's got a big ol couch with room for one more. And I would personally appreciate someone who can entertain him on whatever is happening with ‘The Big Game’–” Steve snorts as Eddie does the air quotes “–so I can get a turkey nap in, undisturbed.”
“So, are you doing me a favor? Or Wayne a favor?”
“Please, I am doing myself a favor,” Eddie says firmly. “I have been trying for more than twenty years to persuade Wayne that there’s no converting me to football. Being gay? After a weekend fishing trip to collect his thoughts, he took that no problem. Being bored to fucking tears by the struggles of the Colts? He’s never been able to accept it.”
Steve laughs. “Yeah, I can talk sports with your uncle for an afternoon. Give you a break.”
Eddie stands up straight, blinking in surprise before he can cover it with an awkward smile. Which is, uh, fair. Steve kind of surprised himself too. Had no intention of actually talking to Wayne and Eddie about Thanksgiving in the first place, whatever he had promised Dustin (which Dustin had probably figured, since he clearly worked it from the other angle, the little jerk). Even in the moment, once he realized what Eddie was asking, he had been mentally preparing a gentle brush off, maybe an I’ll think about it and then conveniently forgetting to say anything until, whoops, whaddaya know, it’s Black Friday.
Steve takes a sip of the cocoa to cover this inexplicably awkward moment, and sputters at the taste.
“Best cocoa in the city?” He manages.
Eddie reaches into his back pocket, and pulls out two mini bottles of whiskey.
“With a few Eddie Munson adjustments,” he says. “Perfect for a long walk home, on a cold November night.”

Hello everyone! My name is Alexx, and I'm looking for something a little different than usual. Right now I'm looking for people interested in doing M/M RP with fandom pairings and a few Canon/OC pairings. All RPing will be done over Discord. Smut will play a large role in any RP we do, so please be aware of that. I like plot too, but there are some times when I just wanna have hot guys do filthy things to each other. My plots are trans inclusive, and some of my OC's are intersex or trans so if that bothers you, please be aware. If you haven't been scared off by this ad yet, look below the emoji line for more details.

Steve Rogers and Bucky Barnes for a Poly MCU plot, or alternately a variety of other MCU options
Scott Summers and/or Remy LeBeau from X-Men (X-Men 97 brainrot is real)

so a mentor, an older boy, could take one of them under his wing, which usually involves sex but also advice and caretaking from bullying etc. so the older characters could factor in here, vinny you like steve x will so upperclassman/prefect steve and freshman will? spies him across the mess hall and decides there and then?
or eddie for mike? or eddie for will?? and mike is BITTER cos he wanted eddie to be his 'mentor' (the young boys all know How Things Work but only a lucky few get a sort of mentor to actually save them through school. most have to slum it alone and grow a thick skin). mike had his sights on eddie and was going to turn on the rich boy charm but eddie saw the frail little doe-eyed will and said 'he's mine actually and im so real for that' (except in posh speak lol)
side note: there are many books on this subject and it was a real thing that happened (happens?) and has been documented in lots of ww1 autobiographies like robert graves and the waugh brothers (famous british upperclass peeps lol)
I love that we're giving me homework for the end result of a future spicy long form fanfiction. When I say I love it I mean that genuinely. This is hitting every one of my interests!! This huge history nerd gets to do research for a gay romance???? Pleaseeeee this is everything. Love all of this. The mentor thing is SUCH nice angle and to work in some storylines with Eddie and Steve as upperclassmen. i really love that. The ideas... are churning....

Explanations/Opinions below the cut:
Ok so I have several reading lists/stacks that I rotate through: my to-read spreadsheet (which has almost 300 titles listed in chronological order by date added, with the oldest being from 8/22/2014), my to-read bookcase/nightstand (which holds ~50 books I’ve acquired over the past few years but haven’t yet read), a stack of oversized unreads that don’t fit on the nightstand shelves (this gets its own list bc I need to read them and find a permanent home for them before the stack gets too tall), and “interruptions” (books that override the list order bc I didn’t want to wait to read them, for whatever reason).
Maybe it’s weird that I’m so attached to reading things “in order”? Idk. I’ve always been like this. It’s only a mild compulsion – obviously, I am perfectly capable of ignoring what’s supposed to be next on the list, in favor of reading something that catches my interest more strongly in the moment, but in general, I like to read things either in the order I added them to the list, or the order I personally acquired a physical copy (if I went by the list only, I’d be drowning in unread books [yay, college town thrift stores], so I gotta stay on top of that pile pretty regularly). So that is why I am often reading things that I first became aware of/added to my list nearly 10 years ago. Sometimes this practice results in feelings like, “Dang, I wish I would’ve actually read this 10 years ago,” but also sometimes, “WOW, I’m so glad I’m reading this RIGHT NOW, as opposed to 10 years ago when I first heard about it!”
I think my favorites this year were Mariette in Ecstasy; Other Voices, Other Rooms; Crapalachia; and Speak, Memory.
Mild disappointments were the essay collections by Leslie Jamison and Meghan Daum, two authors I’m pretty sure I discovered via popular and relateable quotes reblogged on tumblr ca. 2014, but the collections taken as a whole just had too many moments of cringe – casual classism, arrogant self-absorption, and other annoying and unrelateable qualities typical of privileged 20-something writers (this tone definitely appealed to me when I was a naïve and melodramatic snotty 20-something, so there’s that).
As a kind of memorial, Rachael and I read David’s three favorite books: The Stars My Destination, Mother Night, and American Gods. In all the time I knew him, including all the times we used to sit on the porch together, reading quietly while he drank whiskey, I never thought to ask him his favorites. I kept looking for pieces of him in the stories, wondering what lines stood out, what made a book memorable, what did it say about him that these were his favorites.
Being an elder Millennial, I’m in the stage of nostalgically re-acquiring important artifacts from my childhood, so that’s why there are some children’s books on my list. Where’s Waldo? was one of the most coveted books in my grade-school library! There was always a list of people waiting to check it out, but usually, whoever actually had the book that week would let the other kids gather around and look together.
My Heart Is a Chainsaw was a recommendation from my goth teenaged birthdaughter <3 which I probably read too much personal symbolism into but maybe not!
I thought John Updike was overrated, lol.
Favorite photography book: W. Eugene Smith’s Dream Street. His pictures made me so homesick, and it was wild because he took them from 1955-1957 but they still really, REALLY, to me, looked like the Pittsburgh of my ‘80s/’90s memories (bc Pittsburgh doesn’t change, and also the “idea” or “brand” of Pittsburgh in the ‘80s/’90s was ofc consciously referencing its industrial working-class past). He took over 10,000 photos but was never able to “finish” the project to his intense, obsessive standards of perfection (I KNOW THAT FEEL) and felt it failed to capture the multifaceted essence of the city. WELL, not in my opinion at least!
PS I'm moonmoth on LibraryThing.
